When is a glass just a glass? When you’re drinking from it? 😉

That we are alive, also implies the existence of death (immortality is reserved for the gods).
Even Gaia knows this; but that our specific species speeds up the process of death, must necessarily disturb the entire system (butterfly effect).
We’ll likely be gone before too long (in geologic terms) and the Gaiasphere will rebalance to a more, or, should I say, a less frantic way of existense…
But as the organism (Gaia) knows, even it will be gone one day.

It was 1914, early goings. He was starting to experiment, though still only sparingly, with adding a 3rd dimension to the 2D canvas.

Thanks for that bit of information.
Mine was intended as a sumwhat, tongue-in-cheek comment…

VA, I enjoy the chronological trip thru Pablo’s life. Much more to come. We saw a while back how good he already was at 16, with the realist bedside painting. He could do anything, he was that good. But it took him a long time to do what he was looking for; blue period, kubism etc. And he ended up doing what people now see as crazy, because they can’t figure that he put a side of a face in the same place as the front of that same face. Once you get that, a world opens ip. Same process he went through..
