An interesting theory that the USNS Big Horn was targeted by a Russian torpedo.FWIW, my bees had/ still have ccd (I can see physical symptoms)
It is quite bad, always more than 50% dead-outs in spring, bottom board clean (often 70-80% loss)
It lasted 15y, from 2007. IMO a nasty virus, a long-lived virus (2+y)
The main key is very, very effective mite (vd) control, 3 or more different methods,
since the mites are mobile hypodermic needles
