Any money from Russia to Greece, loan or prepayment, sets the stage for replacing the Greek government, by any means necessary. It is probable that by summers end if not sooner Kiev is going to force Russia’s hand with renewed and redoubled attacks on the East with heavy weapons to the point where the Russian military steps in directly. Having
Russia intervene directly in support of the new republics and thus effectively partitioning Ukraine is an obvious strategic goal of the US. Once done it is new cold war or warm war or hot war with Russia and then the lines can be drawn between friend and foe. Friends in Europe will mean a more powerful EU. Greece could then be a foe, Iran too, Turkey perhaps, maybe the Czech Republic unless there is a regime change there. Then there is China with its grand plans for the New Silk Road. Thus the stage is set for battle to put America on top again, as is being fretted about at the IMF/World Bank meetings. Oh sure they talk about economic leadership but what they really want is more than that.

Don’t forget Hungary!

The vilification of their popular prime minister has been in full swing for some time. It would be a bit ironic if Soros (born in Hungary) were to try his “color revolution” there. BTW, Soros, as a kid, was going around helping the Germans loot his Jewish kith and kin. He came to the USA with his pockets full of loot.

I have heard that Nestle’s happily selling CA water at a profit–water rationing doesn’t apply to them. In another vein, farmers still open-irrigate in CA, ignoring what is far more profitable (to say nothing of conserving) water measures such as Israeli drip irrigation.

Refugees in Europe. Well, if they take them, they will come. I would. But please explain how Sicily, Spain, Greece and the others can absorb several hundred thousand totally impoverished, possibly ill, mostly unskilled immigrants when their own unemployment rate is 30-50%? And the pope cares so much about this he’s going to open the Vatican, both the gold relics and the city gates to help them? I thought not. His edict is for somebody ELSE to follow Christ’s example and help them.
