Which is a good leadin to a thought that’s been percolating in my mind. What’s to stop the “spiking” of every other vaccine offered, with spike proteins? Should I be making a list of the relatively trustworthy vaccine manufacturers, and avoid the likes of Pfizer, Moderna, etc.? In Haley Hodgsen video it is nearly buried that *the reason* why she was “committed” (incarcerated) in the internment camp for 14 days was because she lied to police officers about having a Covid test. For most people, they are allowed to test and self-quarantine at home. I am neither condemning nor condoning her lie. However, she wasn’t “under oath” and since when does a lie about some simple diagnostic test lead to a 14 day incarceration? If the concern is “public safety” from a virus, why not an eye roll her way, get her the test, get the negative results, etc.?
This situation is a crystal clear example of how anxiety (she feared being sent to internment) leads people to lie, and how punishments (14 day internment in a camp) drives the anxiety. Very often, authorities believe that provoking fear and anxiety is a great way to control people. But fear and anxiety very often lead to people behaving in unpredictable ways — such as lying about something so simple as a diagnostic test, or the three people who apparently broke out of the internment camp. (I’ve watched this for years. One of my sons has very high anxiety. When he is super anxious he becomes defiant. He cussed in a class at school, and is serving “Saturday Suspension” — i.e. detention — for it. While I agree that he should bear the consequences for cussing…he was so anxious and distraught when he found out this past Thursday that he couldn’t handle being in class, and came home from school two hours early. To calm his anxiety he had to find out what to expect from the 3 hour event, etc.).
There is this strong belief in western cultures (perhaps all human cultures) that if someone “misbehaves” the answer is to “lay down the law” and serve out harsh punishments…this Covid situation is making it clear that what is classified as “misbehavior” can be very subjective. The harsh punishments come to be seen by many as abuse.

Or pen some cheesy little rhymes.Ever since I was nine, I feared I would be killed because I was different, abberant, recalcitrant… Sometimes I fancy that my interior world is making the world I live in (solipsism)- or- when I read all of you I think that it’s possible you are all AI created for my amusement- wherein I greatly appreciate whoever is doing such a thing…
But no.
You are real and what is happening is real and I can be maudlin and mopey and feel overcome by Them, or I can see that it is exhilarating to be in such times where those things I do which I cannot do otherwise matter.I forgot to add “old”. Difference, aberrance, and recalcitrance are all privileges of old age. There seems to be a distinct desire to kill off wisdom, such as it is.
