“Nation Prepares to Celebrate 2nd Anniversary of Two Weeks to Flatten the Curve” –BBee

Again, IS the Babylon Bee, but no, that is not a joke. That’s just headlines. We live in a world you can’t parody.

“Harris Flies to Europe to Help Secure Ukraine Border, Biden Stays Behind (NYP)”

    See what I mean?

By the way, “Which borders?” I read a long article on “Ukraine’s borders.” Ukraine historically barely has borders, they shift every 20 years. But Biden, Blinken and Nod are now causing nuclear war to solidly enforce RUSSIA’S borders, since it was the attacks and arbitrary decrees of Soviet dictators like Stalin that established these borders. So go Brandon, supporting Stalin and Socialism to the death once again. Actually, if you want history, we should erase Poland as a nation under this same principle, which are less solid than Ukraine’s borders. See what I mean? So this is all political, about power, and nothing to do with people or borders, right? Can we just admit that now?

“Finnish MP Criminally Charged after Quoting Bible”

And I thought we went over the horizon to madness and oppression years ago. But there are still new levels to find. So…is reciting history a crime now? Actually yes. Same reason Huck Finn, etc were outlawed or worse. “History has stopped. Nothing exists except the endless present in which the party is always right” — George Orwell

    And shoots your dog.

So Predictable… Latest Propaganda Claims Liberty Activists Are Russian Pawns”

Not new, every day, but it strikes me: so an oppressive dictatorship (according to them) is travelling worldwide supporting freedom and liberty and speech? That’s your story? Okay, one: If so, why would we stop them? And two: what was that about “a house divided cannot stand”? Three: Am I going to be arrested for quoting that? Or just have my bank cut off?

“Man Donates to Truck Convoy under Name ‘Hunter Biden’ So Washington Post Won’t Dox Him” – BBee

“Biden’s $770B Pentagon Budget Proposal Denounced as “Absurd” by Progressive Dems”

Well good, and that’s a switch to see them not pro-war, but … “Inflate or die.” A TRILLION a year, for this ONE thing alone. Does this cause the 20% inflation we’re experiencing now? Yes? Does that kill all poor people? Yes? Would a rounding error on that cure all homelessness and fix all the water in the U.S.? Yes?

Trudeau Having Difficulty Teaching Canadian Mounties to Goose-Step” –BBee

Or not, sadly. But now they all know Canada is not a democracy and like us, hasn’t been for years. They plant guns on protestors, arrest them, take their dogs and put their children in cages, shut off their bank accounts in the winter so they will starve and freeze. Pure love! Helping!

So…no one is going to lose faith in government over this? No one is going to pull half their bank funds out of TD for this? Now this may be a slow-roll, but um, did you not know that modern states are a bank-government symbiants, where confidence is the sole bolt holding it all together? And you want to pull a pin that undermines all three in a single blow? “Did these guys go to bad governance school?”

So they’re trying to undermine confidence in the bond market when rates have doubled in the last six months, doubling their already astronomical interest payments? I mean clearly like the chimps in “2001” they do not know how this machine works. Or as Willy Wonka says, “No. Don’t. Stop.”

Or, put another way, “Go Bitcoin”. I mean unless you have another money that doesn’t rest on confidence and legitimacy of governments that kidnap your pets and shoots them for bad facebook posts.

The kind of lost legitimacy that gives a $1,000 one-time payment for a mandated lifelong injury, while the corporation merged with the state mandate gets $50B a year in profit. You go with that. I’ll sit over here and watch.

It’s too bad Canada has a little boy for a leader whose ego is so fragile he can’t simply admit he was wrong and end all mandates – like what is being done in a dozen European countries. To take this a step further and imagine Dictator Trudeau – oops! there goes my breakfast!

After a decade of revolutionary chaos, Napoleon made himself Emperor and had the support of citizens because he gave them back law and order. One may question the value of that but, at least he gave people something. Consequently he ruled for over a decade.

Mussolini went after the Mafia. he even made Italy’s trains run on time! That might not seem like much to us but it was good enough for him to rule 2 decades. Had he stayed out of the war he could have lasted as long as Franco.

Hitler even built the autobahn. Like the others, he did improve people’s lives enough to justify his early rule.

Will the reign of First Citizen Justin last a dog’s life or longer? Don’t bet on it. The problem with our modern rulers is that what they see as an advantage to allow them to rule uber alles, is actually their greatest weakness. With complete control of the media they can dictate reality to people. Why take the trouble to improve people’s lives when you can simply lie that you improved their lives? Thus they continue to provide people with less than nothing while becoming further lost in their own echo chamber. They’ll maintain the support of people they can bribe – gvt workers and pensioners. Oh dear, they’re also eroding the value of the currency they bribe people with. Okay some special citizens will get, eventually, worthless paper, while the rest of us get to shake our heads in dismay.

If one steps back they can see this is another stage in the economic collapse. It’s unfortunate that our rulers have decided to turn that into a civilisation collapse. They won’t win, however everyone losing isn’t much of a consolation.

    Geert:

The ongoing mass vaccination campaigns are a threat to our human species. Vaccine mandates and immunologic discrimination are, therefore, a crime against humanity and will undoubtedly be referred to as such in the history of mankind.

Some of us, like Geert, have noticed that those charged with protecting the current crop of “humanity” from “crimes” are no where to be found, thus the statement “referred to as such in the history of mankind”.

What a sad state of affairs & a $hitty time to be alive, what with psychopaths like Fauci et al. granted license to inflict so much damage, suffering & death upon so many…

I hope someone is left after this reckoning to record & learn NOT to allow mental cases to accumulate + wield so much wealth & power,

The Ukraine fiasco is blinding to some other actual military things going on globally. China and Russia have agreed to have each others backs quietly in the background over the past months/years. There is a real Russian military build up happening in Syria that seems as if it is going unnoticed. Hmm? So you have China starting to look hard at US control of the shipping in the pacific and now with Russia setting up camp, that may have the ability to sway/control the mediterranean, and already has an overly large piece of the energy mix in Europe the “west” may well have already fallen. Check out what Alexander says starting around the 29:00 minute mark. If there is any chance this plays out the real panic and confusion has yet to start. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-6Y_DD7t2uA

“That’s just headlines. We live in a world you can’t parody.”

    About 2003, about William Gibson:

“In 2001, the glamour of the Net has faded somewhat. But at the same time, technological change has raced forward so fast that the cyberpunk visions of just 10 or 15 years ago are now passé. In “No Maps” Gibson acknowledges that the pace of change — and the fundamental absurdity of the change — makes it increasingly challenging to do what he does, to imagine a future somehow off-kilter from the present. He recalls another writer sending him a note with the news that Michael Jackson had married Lisa-Marie Presley. “This makes your work harder,” read the note.”

“he even made Italy’s trains run on time! ”

Here I am, bubble-bursting, but my understanding is that the “trains on time” thing is mostly a myth. Probably based on some wag expressing via metaphor the fact that there was certainly some increased order and efficiency from Mussolini’s early rule.

Today’s Picasso strikes me as being perfectly between his earlier, conventional, more easily enjoyed/understood work, and his later, more demanding, cubist space-time anomaly work.

Here, the “cubism” (what a dumb name, eh?) works to bring out the woman’s personality perhaps better than a more directly representational approach would, per my eyes.

This is a nifty quick sample overview of Picasso’s mature phases as an artist:

From Mr. Roboto’s link to ‘Why Truckers Will Lose’:

“The drivers of Right-wing populism — divisive racial preferentialism, permissive immigration policy, a widespread sense of the loss of control — are thus not present in Canada. In other countries, pandemic restrictions may have been the straw that broke the camel’s back, the latest in a long line of elite excesses that long predated Covid-19.”

Well then. Hands-on (populist) right wingers are not right-wing populists if they’re not a) racist, b) obsessed with borders, and c) disturbed by the decay of democracy into tyranny (per usual). There are surely no other issues concerning RWPops. Not mandatory injections of mysterious toxic potions or just plain atrocious governance ruining a once pretty nice nation. That doesn’t bother them?

Getting paid to write for the public good is an invitation to corruption by vanity, greed, lust, addiction, and simple inability to comprehend what’s happening. The idea of a professional 4th estate or whatever is like that of being a professional democrat or republican (not per the partisan definition but the ideological one). Being PAID to be a citizen is not good for the cause of liberty (whatever that is*).

*like the judge said about porn many decades ago in a court decision regarding censorship (paraphrase alert): “I can’t define it in words but I know it when I see it.”

Attitudes change with time and social conditions and these are changing now at rates that are quite astonishing. The link below is interesting for that reason only.

“When will human beings go extinct? Perhaps sooner than we first predicted
Britons are less sure than they were that humanity is here to stay. The number of those who believe human beings will never die out has dropped by seven points since 2016 to 23%.”

    Addressing yesterday’s topics late:

Jordan Peterson: He advised Canadian protesters to go home with things as they now stand, before getting arrested, and let the political machine work in their behalf, since they have made their point.
This may be helpful advice for the faint-of-heart, but anybody at the protests already got all the memos.
I would not look at second order effects right now. The first order effect is to support the tyranny by reducing opposition numbers on the ground. The tyrants cannot deal with the numbers as they now stand. Standing firm helps force the tyranny to change course or fail ignominiously.

Tulsi Gabbard: She was once (not for 7 years, as per Doc Robinson) a promising WEF protege, but she went to mideast wars in a medical unit twice. She is an Army Reserve officer. She has called “bullshit” and resigned a DNC position over the defrauding of Sander/Sanders-voters. She has diverged while in the Democratic Party, and shot down Harris in the September (or so) 2019 debate, shot her down in flames, made her stumble and burble on camera, Tulsi has released her moorings to the DNC. She is clearly principled, and speaks eloquently, and to core constitutional issues which define the American Republic, and she looks straight at the camera, as she looked unwaveringly into my eyes when I explained HCQ for COVID to her 3/2/20 in Austin (image on blog) https://www.johndayblog.com/2020/03/six-billion-doses.html She listened intently to my entire explanation. I have watched her politically since 2010, when I was working in Hawaii. I saw that she was principled. This struck me as unusual. I have watched her intently. She has been consistent and reliable.
For “Great Man” leader in the next “First Turning”, I nominate Tulsi Gabbard. If Trump runs in 2024, with her in VP position, and wins, it means regime change has happened, because “they” would have been defeated in the present and for the foreseeable future by this one-two-punch.

Instead of highlighting the harmful effects 😷s & lockdowns have had on children, the CDC just lowered the bar for milestones.”

Right now, children who are language delayed as toddlers can start receiving services to remediate the problem at no cost to the parents, provided by the public schools. My twin sons started going to free preschool due to language delays a couple months before turning 4 years old. I can’t help but wonder whether this will change the criteria used to determine whether a preschooler is language delayed? If so, that is awful.

Kunstler’s latest , which is well worth the read (here https://kunstler.com/clusterfuck-nation/the-unmasking/ ) concludes with the statement and promise :

“Stand by, now, to find out who has been behind all this deadly mischief. We
will rip off their masks and the rule of law will be restored.”

Personally, I believe that he will be good to his word and deliver the goods…when it’s safer.

Meanwhile I strongly advise that you do not idly “stand by” waiting for the cavalry.

There is work to do, and you know what it is and who has to do it.

You have to go find some Truths and then tell somebody.

You will find it somewhere between digitalized nihilistic materialism and Magic Healing Crystals.

Yeah, Kunstler sells false political hope. You can surely nail him on that one, DBS. It is a self-evident pattern. Is it sincere or phony? That’s unknown.

Just at the time when solidarity is needed, we’re discarding some of our favorite go-to gurus and leaders because they’re not perfect human beings, which in these cases, usually means “lousy rat traitor”, which is hardly justified factually although the venting may be healthy for a fellow.

We know what we know, and don’t know what we don’t know. 2+2=4

    Concerning the Geert post-

Radagast was on this back in December.
    In today’s post, he says:
“Because of the mass vaccination campaign, we become more susceptible to infection, more susceptible to rapid reinfection and in the long run, the vaccines also cause the individual infections themselves to become more severe.
“You should expect to see the first signs of this process begin to emerge and lead to disturbingly high levels of hospitalizations in Israel and Denmark in the weeks ahead. Denmark will be first and then followed by Israel, as Israel has again decided to kick the can down the hall by giving people a fourth injection with the exact same vaccine, based on an extinct old variant.”

I’ll do it again when my fingers aren’t so sore (I have a book to write now and need them for that), but I’ll do it again later to support what I say to Doc Day now regarding his claim that JP is urging people to quit and go home: NO.HE.ISN’T.
