However I think the issue is simply that they are too involved in their own lives and don’t want to be bothered with medical/political issues. The easiest way to make them go away is to do what you are told to do then forget about it.
Seeing this shortsightedness among people with children and grandkids really does amaze me. Actually it is incredibly irresponsible. We don’t have to worry about the future nor serious issues because Big Brother government will do it all for us

Remember, one of the people on the “kill list”, was Gonzalo Lira – who was picked up in Kharkiv for questioning by the SBU in April 2022 and released perfectly unharmed a few days later.
Here is what was reported of him after his initial catch and release.
“Lira is a Chilean-American citizen currently in Kharkov in north-eastern Ukraine where he has lived with his Ukrainian wife and children for some years. Lira rose to prominence as an online citizen journalist with the outbreak of hostilities in late February after Russian forces entered Ukraine for reporting what was actually happening around him in Kiev (where he happened to be at the start of hostilities) and then later in Kharkov on his YouTube channel. Western audiences aware of the disinformation being pushed on them by Western MSM outlets began following Lira and soon alternative news media websites began featuring his reports and interviewing him. His profile rose even more when he failed to turn up to a Zoom interview with British journalist George Galloway on 17 April 2022 and for several days he did not post anything to YouTube or Twitter, causing alarm among his audience who feared he had been arrested, tortured and even murdered by the feared Ukrainian SBU or neo-Nazi gangs. The Chilean Ministry of Foreign Affairs confirmed his disappearance after searching for him. On 22 April 2022, Gonzalo Lira announced through an interview conducted by Alex Christoforou of The Duran that he was alive and well, and had been detained by the SBU since 15 April 2022.”
Fast forward to this year and he has been arrested again, essentially for the same reasons. Did that bachelor pad shithole have any evidence of the female touch? Children? He has a self funded a safehouse for his family? There was an “obvious table” with Putin books with Putin’s face for the camera to capture. Russian forces delivered a strike by high-precision weapons against Ukrainian military airfields, destroying enemy command posts, aircraft, armament and ammunition depots in the past day during the special military operation in Ukraine, Defense Ministry Spokesman Lieutenant-General Igor Konashenkov reported on Monday.
“At night, Russian forces delivered a multiple strike by air-launched long-range precision weapons against enemy facilities at airfields. The goal of the strike was achieved. All the designated sites were destroyed. The strike wiped out Ukrainian command and radar posts, aircraft, armament and ammunition depots,” the spokesman said.

In addition, Russian air defense systems destroyed 14 Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicles in areas near the settlements of Verkhnekamenka, Novodruzhesk and Pshenichnoye in the Lugansk People’s Republic, Yasnoye in the Donetsk People’s Republic, Vasilyevka, Lyubimovka and Konstantinovka in the Zaporozhye Region, the general reported.
In all, the Russian Armed Forces have destroyed 429 Ukrainian warplanes, 235 combat helicopters, 4,371 unmanned aerial vehicles, 424 surface-to-air missile systems, 9,324 tanks and other armored combat vehicles, 1,100 multiple rocket launchers, 4,934 field artillery guns and mortars and 10,527 special military motor vehicles since the beginning of the special military operation in Ukraine, Konashenkov reported.

I filed my corporate taxes electronically with HR Block software. The software received confirmation that the return was received. The IRS claims that they never got it. Instead, the IRS claims that they received the FUT return, the one on paper that came in the en elope with the check, electronically.The IRS needs to drop partisanship and focus on the business of correctly handling federal tax and the associated data, etc. “Defunding” it doesn’t help the situation and is likely to make it worse. The IRS needs proper management.
…and you can’t just “abolish” the IRS. Then its many mistakes would never become resolved. The people who actually committed gross tax fraud would get off Scott-free. If it were allowed to fade away, just tying up all of the loose ends would be a monumental task — what about all of the folks slowly paying off their accepted “offers in compromise”?

Yes. It is utterly revolting.However…I want more information. What we saw there were compromising photos plus a translated allegation. They are collected together in a way to suggest a specific narrative. There is no information regarding the source — other than it being “Russian.” It could be 100% real. It could be fake. In Russia, it works well as propaganda — stoking an emotional response from the people of Russia as they sacrifice to fight The West in Ukraine, Hunter standing as a proxy for his father, who represents the US, who represents the fight in Ukraine. For the Russian people, the Biden family influence-peddling scheme is likely to sound like “business-as-usual” political corruption. In the US, the Biden money-laundering alone can cause anger in the people. If it is real, there are many in the US who carry no love for the Biden family, and more information will come out.

The endless bitter antagonism to Putin and to Russia has allowed a self-imagined reality to detach, ultimately becoming a delusion.
The recent G7 summit should be understood as firstly, the shaping of a battlespace in the ‘War of Narratives’ whose principal ‘front’ today is the Team Biden insistence that only one ‘reality’ — the US-led ‘Rules’ ideology (and it alone) – can predominate. And, secondly to underline pointedly that the West is ‘not losing’ in this war against the other ‘reality’. This other reality is the multivalent ‘otherness’ that self-evidently is attracting more and more support around the world.
Many in the West are simply unaware of how fast the geopolitical tectonic plates are shifting: The original plate bifurcation (the failed financial war declared on Russia), already has led to a building wave. Anger is growing. People now no longer feel alone in rejecting western hegemony – they “no longer care”.
In just the week that preceded the G7 summit, the Arab League literally ‘went multi-polar’; It quit its former pro-US automaticity. The embrace of President Assad and the Syrian government was both the logical consequence to the secondary tectonic-plate shift set in motion by China with its Saudi-Iranian diplomacy…
..For the West, it is ontologically impossible to tolerate their reality being disassembled: to see their society and the world split in two. The narrative reality is so embedded via the well-honed effectiveness of MSM messaging however, that politicians have become lazy. This extensive narrative-shaping for China confrontation is seen to be necessary by the G7 as the rest of the world does not view China as a genuine ‘threat’ to the US: Rather, they understand that the true ‘threats’ to the US derive from its internal divisions, and not from external sources.
The G7 salience lies not so much with the anti-China narratives launched, but, plainly said, because the entire episode expresses a western hubristic denial, which portends extreme danger in respect to Ukraine. It speaks to the reality that the West — in its present mental mode — will be unable to put forward any credible political initiative to end the Ukraine conflict…

These European leaders simply are dangerously hostage to the psychological processes fuelling their denialism.
Russia is ‘winning’ on the financial war front, and on the global diplomatic front. The US-led anti-ISIS coalition is building a new military base in Syria’s northern province of Raqqa, The New Arab reported, citing a source close to the Kurdish-led Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF).
The US backs the SDF and keeps about 900 troops in eastern Syria, allowing the US to control about one-third of Syria’s territory. The report said there are currently about 24 US-led military sites spread throughout eastern Syria.
While the US says it’s in Syria to fight ISIS, the presence is part of Washington’s economic war against Damascus, which includes crippling economic sanctions. ISIS also holds no significant territory, and the Syrian government and its allies would continue to fight the remnants of the terror group if the US withdrew.
