I say that knowing full well, 2018 will try the souls of the well meaning, good hearted inhabitant’s, of the most beautiful, little blue dot…I spent some time researching Klee’s painting (Dancing Under the Empire of Fear 1938) and found little to nothing in way of interpretation; so, I’ll offer mine.
I see swastika’s stylised in the figures; a foreshadowing of the coming catastrophe.
