In the “small anecdotal datapoints” category, had a conversation with a delivery driver for one of the big companies (hint: brown uniform). He was livid with all the electronic “management” (I use that term facetiously) on the drivers by ‘management’, and said he’d yet to be paid (a large sum) for overtime work during the pandemic.
Another friend has the same role with the competition (rhymes with “FedEx”). Also very upset. Pay, hours, “monitoring”, mandates, etc
If this is any indication of a greater overall mood with the rank-and-file of these companies, sell any stock you may have in these corporations. These guys are pissed. Really pissed.

Not one of them. And as they might have discovered something – maybe he COULD be off-color, Boris Badenov, useful – is that they reject reality instinctively, habitually, on contact. They have not the slightest interest in the veracity of anything they do, say, or think, which is the definition of “Bulls—t” but also of the mentally deranged in this capacity.
Unfortunately, these are your countrymen, in every position and institution of power and influence. So like I said, what did you think would happen? They’d round up and arrest all 5 million in D.C.? And for what? Being mentally deranged and self-serving? I guess once you’re in and count heads, you have to figure what your strategy is. I speak of course of “devolution,” where the power is forced to be pushed down as locally as possible, as the central power is put in traction, discredited, bankrupted, and without reach. Why? Because that’s American Law for one, but also that further down gives the people the most autonomy, independence, and leverage, but also when things go bad, you see them quickly, try +50 or 3,142 different things, and also have consequences and adjustments on those plans, rules, and attempts. That is, immediate consequences for failure, that show up quick enough to correct course.
Again, the joy of this is that a) it’s been tested and it works, and b) it’s already Federal law that is being illegally suspended. So it’s the easy legal, cultural path to a pattern that has a long history of (messy) success. Unlike say, Socialism, Green New Deal, Carbon Credits, Build Back Better or something.

The economy broke on schedule, was duct taped, then broke again with $1T/night bailouts, and desperately needed a load-shedding or it would rupture at the seams in broad daylight, with no cover story such as the much-planned and desired world war. …And Then a Miracle Happened.

Yesterday: Why would we have “business” or “corporations” in Capitalism? That’s silly. There were no corporations for a thousand years in Capitalism, as governments rightly assessed that a Dutch East India company would undermine the government. Such corporations essentially didn’t exist even under Madison – you needed a specific charter for a business license, which were given, but not commonly, and actively dissolved once they built that bridge or road. And again, the idea of “Capitalism” doesn’t mean we have no military, justice system, religion, or culture. Fraud is still fraud, manslaughter is still manslaughter. What you’re talking about is CORRUPTION, which we’re all against. And when the “capitalism” in whatever form — corporation, Feudal lords – take over government, then you don’t have capitalism, anymore than when Stalin takes over all Russian functions, he installed “communism”. In July, I had been much better, and was given the maximum 5% merit raise.
Yes, I’m being kind of snarky. Positions are clear. I will be paid my PTO as discharge, and my modest retirement is mine.
This is actualy all for the best. It seems to be particularly grating that I have been telling people who recovered from COVID to avoid vaccination, all risk and no benefit. I tried to talk about the “negative efficacy” in England as time from vaccination progresses, and the efficacy of ivermectin, but that could not be heard.
What began in 1970 as “The People’s Free Clinic”, and I will part ways for the last time, at the end of this month.
I discovered yesterday that 3 of the nurses I work closely with, who get a lot done, and have real expertise in the healthcare system, will be leaving in December, handed in their resignations.
It’s not just me feeling the death of the old spirit.Doctors and surgeons need to stand up like John Day and fight against the tyranny. People will be lost but it will be less than if things continue on the way they are currently. Doctors should withdraw their services like the pilots until they they regain their freedom to treat patients. The medical boards are corrupt. The employers are corrupt. Yes, any worker who does work is really, really pissed. We’re now in a strict class structure where you’re either managerial “technocratic” class, or a deplorable, expendable, to be abused on sight. The workers now realize this with work-from-home, and the terrible, unworking failure of these computer systems, where they add an app to alert the police if your mouse stops moving! So I see this all over. And it’s not JUST the money: a lot of (small) places are offering money. It’s worse than that. It’s a matter of TRUST and BELIEF. Even if hired, they don’t BELIEVE you won’t d—k with them, make their lives h—l just for fun, amusement, just ‘cause they’re clueless, don’t care, and you’re just SUPPOSED to kick deplorable workers.
And even though that COSTS money, it’s not extracting the workers to MAKE money. If only! We could understand that, that would make sense. They are LOSING money by millions, billions, because they are chronically mentally ill and CAN’T STOP CONTROLLING THINGS. Ordering everyone around, most especially when they know nothing and every word breaks more things. They’re mentally-deficient, ill-behaved chimpanzees. When the things break, mentally-deranged managers further up the line applaud their behavior and the loss of mission, money, manpower, and profit. No consequences! How can there be when there’s free money? The dumber and more reckless you are, the freer it is.
Why would a UPS driver put up with that? F it. He’s the only guy in the whole company doing actual WORK. He can go work elsewhere, at anything.
So I’m saying widespread loss of BELIEF in the whole system of human interaction. And since they — corporations — LOSE money like a oil-rig fire hose, ANY work does outside that bizarre, irrational system can instantly compete. Someone posted a short video of a driver who refused to answer even the most basic questions when stopped at a Driving While Intoxicated checkpoint. Of course, under the US Constitution such stops without PROBABLE CAUSE are not legal. Firstly, 9 people out of 10 have not taken the time to read the Constitution, so they do not know their rights and thus do not know what statutory laws apply to them or not.
So rule one would be to learn the rights accorded to you under the highest applicable law. Example, a township statute cannot trump the Constitutional law.
Once a person is aware of their RIGHTS and DUTIES under the law, they know what laws and duties apply to them.
Second, if a demand is made not in compliance with the law, the person MUST refuse the request…ie, exercise their rights under the law. The driver in the example above did just that. After a few minutes of noise, the cop waved the drive through the checkpoint!
If even 3 out of 10 refused to comply, the checkpoints would come down! Systems of oppression require voluntary compliance! Remember that ratio…30% non compliance kills a voluntary system!

Yesterday at clinic, while I was finishing work at my desk, the Medical Director, a good guy, who I have known for 15 years, came by with an envelope.
I anticipated that the clinic would need to side with federal payments over a state order against vaccine mandates. That’s the case. Some uncertainty has been inserted into the system by Governor Abbot’s order. There is a bill in the legislature to bolster that. We will see how it fares.I was dismayed that the position of the clinic administration is that I am being fired for cause, other than refusing to accept mandatory experimental vaccination.
The last 7 weeks, since the clinic announced the mandate, and I made my position clear, that I must stand with the under-class of un-vaccinated, has had more discord.
I was told that I must stop prescribing ivermectin-based treatment for COVID, with any link to the clinic, after over a year of doing so, and to good effect.
I was written up for prescribing ivermectin based treatment to the 17 year old son of a coworker, without an office visit, or writing it up in documentation.
That was true. I have prescribed for staff and some family members since spring 2020, and have maintained my open offer to do so.I have continued to advise patients who have recovered from COVID against receiving vaccination, on the grounds of all-risk-and-no-benefit. I have discussed the shifting risk profiles where the vaccinated become more prone to catch COVID than the unvaccinated (Public Health England data is especially clear.)
This comes as the clinic is ramping up vaccine events, and is vaccinating children whenever parents will consent.My approach to treatment of each patient, using my best judgment and giving my best medical advice, has become directly at odds with the policies of the clinic, lately a Federally Qualified Health Center. So over 4 million American workers up and quit every month, month after month after month, and the reaction is ho-hum, labor shortage, blah, blah, blah, toy shortage for Christmas, oh, the horror, blah, blah, blah.
These are large numbers. Over 10 million job openings and 6 million hires and 6 million “separations,” i.e. layoffs and the 4.3 million voluntary quits.
The happy story promoted by the corporate media is that this enormous churn is the result of shiny, happy people moving up the work food chain to better paying jobs. We know we’re close to the moment when Everything Solid Melts into Air when every breakdown is instantly reworked into a happy story in which everything is getting better every day, in every way.
The reality nobody in power wants to acknowledge, much less address, is that millions of workers are opting out or burning out and they’re not coming back.

Isn’t it obvious why there aren’t huge protests in US? Except in NY and LA, there are very few restrictions. Right now, there are rumbles. Those affected by mandates are scrambling to get their houses in order, asking for exemptions or using up their PTO, planning for their families after they no longer have a paycheck from their jobs. They may be eying what is going on, preparing for shortages — we stocked up on pet food last night, as it would be distressing to look these furry and feathered dependents in the eyes and not have food for their bellies.The protests in the US are going to happen after many have lost or been furloughed from their jobs, and have the time to protest.

Well…supposedly it only takes a little over 3% in the streets to effect change, because with over 3% in the street there is a much larger percentage who are discontented, and will support the change advocated by the over 3%. The discontented who “won’t do anything”…as long as they also do nothing to further the agendas of the tyrants, it may be enough.I hope.
Feeling very uneasy about the tyranny. Trying to see a viable path forward. TX governor is standing up, asking the TX legislature to back him. Will AZ governor follow suit? Will AZ legislature pull their heads out of their a$$es and redo the legislation regarding Covid that was nullified because they violated AZ law by slipping it into unrelated pieces of legislation? Can the measures pass on their own? If the AZ governor and legislature provide “cover” for the discontented populace, the populace won’t need to protest…instead they can simply have rallies to support elected state leaders.

You have been wronged. Those behind this plandemic, and all the little tyrant do-gooders that have signed on to do their part of “we’re all in this together”.
I would cringe every time I heard “we’re all in this together” blasted from the grocery store propaganda speakers.

Below is what I think the near term time-line looks like in the U.S. and would appreciate anyone’s additions or edits. Bottom line, things go off the rails around December.
1. Layoffs and firings will accelerate into December, largely due to the existing federal contractor mandate that has a Dec. 8th deadline. While OSHA hasn’t released rules for the rest of us, these will likely add to the number of unemployed. Additionally, think of those that leave willingly (e.g. early retirement) knowing that the mass reduction in force will make their job satisfaction tank.
2. Inflation continues to increase as we are seeing a lack of goods, not just too much money chasing things. Food and energy will particularly increase as we head into winter. We are already seeing this and there isnt additional supply to come online, so situation will get worse.
3. Supply chains will continue to deteriorate as there are few truckers, people working in warehouses, etc. Add rising fuel costs and many must have goods will just become unavailable, despite the price.
4. Deaths in September were around 5x what we saw in the same period a year ago. December is when we start to see the peak of seasonal colds, so expect December’s numbers to be off the charts with mass hysteria following. This will add to the other issues as fewer people working (sick or sheltering at home).
All of these seem to me to feed each other, creating a cascading event. I think the logical move by .gov will be to issue a passport here in the US as this will (temporarily) solve several problems; 1) keeps the narrative going that all of our misfortune is from the unvaxxed; 2) takes some pressure off of the supply chain as unvaxxed wont be allowed to shop, so less demand for goods; and 3) facilitates a roll-out of the booster program. Passport expires within x months of your last shot, get the booster or no passport enabled privileges.
Thoughts? Its pretty dark, though ithink that is our reality. Anything additional that would fit in here? Any suggestions for best steps to take now to prepare?
Regarding painting Children Playing…
I find it significant the number of people depicted wearing blue clothing. Indigo dye was very costly in 1560. It was my understanding that blue clothing was pretty hard to come by for those not of noble birth or in a wealthy merchant family. The other prominent color of clothing is a strong red — red was not as hard to come by as blue, but getting a brilliant red hue would take a lot of dye — especially using natural dyes.
So then I start to wonder, what statement was Bruegel the elder making when he chose those colors?John Day,
I appreciate your situation. I have a similar experience in my past, having joined a young organization as a professional in my field and helped it to grow over decades. Then the organization became something that it wasn’t at the beginning, leaving me so to speak. When you refuse to change or hide who you are authoritarian management naturally must expel you.
It is natural for you to be constantly processing the details at first, but that fades as you find your new path. Whatever that is, it will be yours. You’ll never regret your own path.
