From 3 days ago, in El Paso, Texas:
Reading between the lines, out of 9 additional deaths with Covid, it sounds like 2 were fully vaccinated, 6 were partially vaccinated, and only 1 was not vaccinated. So 8 out of 9 who died presumably had at least one dose of the vaccine. But only 2 are being counted as “breakthough” deaths.
EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) – The city of El Paso’s Public Health Department announced over 160 new breakthrough COVID-19 cases and nine additional deaths. Two of those deaths were breakthrough cases, one of the deaths was due to underlying health conditions, and another death was someone who was not vaccinated. That brings the total number to breakthrough deaths to 18.
More news from Texas:
Two-thirds of the San Antonio Independent School District employees who tested positive for the coronavirus in August were fully vaccinated. Out of the 285 cases staff members reported to SAISD, 197 were breakthrough cases, according to district records.
I wonder how many of the cases were considered partially vaccinated (less than 14 days after the last shot).
Here’s an example of the logic used by Team Vax:
SAISD Superintendent Pedro Martinez said Monday the high rate of breakthrough cases is further proof his employee vaccine mandate is needed.
