It’s rare for me to leave a comment, Raul, but I do visit every morning once I’ve scanned Naked Capitalism where the covid coverage has been largely so unquestioning of the official narrative that it’s often unreadable for anyone who has investigated further. In fact, both my husband and I have had comments questioning aspects of the story as promoted by government officials and the msm banned.
Thankfully, there are a few others more qualified to speak about medical issues than we are. This morning a comment left on NC by IMDoc is pertinent to your essay this morning:

About the French Guyana paper from the CDC
This is how science – the actual process – not the Fauci version – should be working.
I have repeatedly stated that I am seeing much much more vaccinated positives than one would ever have expected. As I have stated, they seem to be much sicker (though not critically so) and they tend to happen in clusters. For the past two months, this has stuck out from the dominant media narrative. I have never had to fight the cognitive dissonance between the media and my own eyeballs in my life.
I belong to a large non-public alumni group of my residency program that has literally thousands of IM docs all over America. The first thing a scientist does is to confirm that your observations are general or something you are just seeing. It was quickly obvious from that group that I was far from alone despite the “minimal breakthrough cases” media narrative.
So, then you do everything you can to hypothesize reasons why you are seeing what you are. I have been a physician for 30 years and that experience plays a huge role as well. Having this gigantic number of breakthrough cases just simply does not happen. I continue to see more than half the cases in vaccinated patients and so do many others. UNHEARD OF IN VACCINES BEFORE NOW.
Part of hypothesizing why is looking to the literature for evidence. Seldom is this found in RCT at this stage. Case reports and series like this paper are critical. They are seeing the same breakthrough ratio. And they have done a lot more viral research than you can. This is a gold mine for my own questions.
Is there anything in the paper that could possibly explain what I am seeing. Lots of times, it is not in the headline part but in all the test results and discussion. And yes, there is a very important finding deep in the results.
Why would clustering and sicker patients be so much more common in the breakthrough patients – there must be a reason for that?
If you look at the brief discussion of cT or cycle threshold you will see that the vaccinated patients have a SIGNIFICANTLY lower cT than the unvaccinated. That is the way the PCR test works. It basically means the vaccinated have a much higher amount of viral active particles than the unvaccinated. That would account for the breakthroughs I and my colleagues are seeing being a bit more ill. And it would explain the clustering. THe vaccinated breakthroughs have much higher viral load so they are much more contagious and the higher viral load makes them more symptomatic.
So we now have a suggestion and strong evidence that the vaccinated population may be spreading much more virus than the unvaccinated. I would say that is a critical public health issue and must be further researched immediately.
This Certainly needs much more work. THis is not confirmatory of any conclusions. But it is consistent with observation on the ground – unlike most of what the media has been spewing to the American people. But this is how science works. This paper is about the gamma variant but a conference yesterday with experts discussed that similar findings were being found in delta and lambda. The suggestion in this paper is now on the front of my mind. I am even now thinking of ways to confirm or falsify these conclusions going forward. This is science.
Another issue. The writers make the point that the breakthrough rate is extremely divergent from the expected rate. The difference is this paper documents what is happening in REAL LIFE. So much of what we are hearing on our media about vaccine efficacy is research being done in vitro. It is presented as gospel truth. I just want to scream.
I am doing great and thanks for all the kind words. More about my week later. The commenters here are the best in the internet and I so appreciate my time here.July 24, 2021 at 6:49 pm #80791
@Susan C: thank you for the comment. 🙂 Now if only all these doctors would speak out publicly about their experience (not just comment on NC) and quote actual numbers. And publish their names. Until the “I must remain anonymous” to protect my job BS ends, this vaccine drama will continue to play out. To the detriment of our children, and that’s where I lose my patience and also my sympathy for these cowards. Speak out. Speak up. Don’t stop. Lose your job? You won’t be the first person who has lost a job due to speaking out on this vaxx. These medical professionals need to grow a pair. Yesterday.July 24, 2021 at 7:13 pm #80793
It’s also pathetic that with the amount of money we pump into the CDC we’re forced to refer to studies from other countries instead of carrying out our own here in the US. Talk about the CDC (and FDA) and big pharma sleeping together for decades now … this current example is absolutely and blatantly disgusting.
I haven’t been a fan of the medical industrial complex for decades. The current debacle has fully sealed the deal. I have no idea why anyone would trust any vaccine injection in the future. That’s how cynical I’ve become. I know Dr D said “don’t let them do this” but it’s too late, at least for me.
Raul is right. “Rage Against the Vaccine” indeed. And it’s about so much more than the vaccine itself, as he so aptly points out in this post. Thank you.July 24, 2021 at 7:16 pm #80795Susan CParticipant
To upstateNYer: I agree with you. If only every medical professional were really honest about their observations this debacle would end so much faster.. and it’s already gone on far too long as evidence about the lack of ‘vaxine’ efficacy becomes more apparent with each passing day.
Unfortunately, I’m unable to suggest public disclosure of his findings to IMDoc because of all my covid comments being blocked.July 24, 2021 at 7:43 pm #80797Maxwell QuestParticipant
“Data From India Continues To Blow Up The ‘Delta’ Fear Narrative” (BlazeMedia)
In other words, our government is learning all the wrong lessons from India, and now Israel and the U.K.
Our poor wittle guvment just can’t seem to learn. Like little Joey, maybe it’s dyslexia or (Gasp) ADHD?
Or maybe learning or public health is not the goal here? Maybe the so-called pandemic is just a tool being used by the rulers in order to carry out a more nefarious plan that’s currently hidden behind a curtain of lies. Possibly a controlled demolition of the economic system in which the banks and billionaires survive intact? Or maybe the first stage of an authoritarian dictatorship which sorely needs the vaccine pass program for rigid population control? Or maybe even the ultimate plan to cull humanity down to the carrying capacity of the planet? It’s certainly not about healthcare or learning for that matter. Trying to weave either of these motives into current pandemic policies will just give you a splitting headache.
“Liars will always double-down!” Madamski wrote something like this a few days ago, and it stuck with me. I remember thinking at the time, “Damn, she’s right!”. Liars will never admit that they lied, but will tell an even bigger lie to cover up the first lie. Then proceed to beat you about the ears for the gall of questioning their sincerity. And as Jean-Claude Juncker pointed out: “When things get serious,” he said, “you have to know how to lie.”

And speaking of doubling down:

If you don’t mind me asking, have you figured out how to reconcile NC’s massive distrust of big pharma (think oxy articles for example) with its massive trust of all vaccines? This never made sense. I no longer visit, haven’t for at least a couple years. But this glaring dichotomy was always apparent. It’s part of why I stopped visiting. When it came to the topic of vaccines, people with legitimate questions were instantly shut down on NC. Why?

England is doing well according to these charts.
I cannot prove that it is because of the vaccine, but then if the vaccine were killing huge numbers it would show up in these charts. It’s hard to really know the truth about what’s going on, but I decided on balance that the vaccine was less risky than the risk of getting covid19, and so far nothing you have said has convinced me otherwise.
I see the usual confusion about cases, infections, covid, but skip it all and go straight to the death stats. There isn’t much confusion about death, you are either dead or not dead.July 24, 2021 at 8:41 pm #80800Polder DwellerParticipant

I’ll chime in on vaccine choice. I have many vaccinated [close] family and friends. All adults so far, I think (hesitate to ask about their children). It’s an adult’s choice. But when the officials are pushing injection of children so they can attend school or participate in events, the gloves come off.
These vaccines, or whatever they are, have ZERO evidence of mid- to long-term effects. There cannot be evidence of said effects because the vaccines haven’t been in use long enough to determine it. Period. Absolutely no one can argue that. It’s a fact.
Leave the kids alone. Leave me, as an unvaxxed, alone.
Vaxx yourself based on your analysis of personal risk, if that’s what you want. Boosters? Go for it, if that seems the best choice for you personally. This whole thing would not even be an argument if the vaccinated and public health officials would knock off the BS.

I posted at the end of a previous thread about the real data around adverse effects from Covid.
SAERS is being hampered if not outright tampered with. So are the other adverse reporting systems. It doesn’t matter how, i.e. overly complex form, NO code for Covid in the form despite codes for all other vaccines etc…
The NSA and the other alphabet soup ‘intelligence agencies’ have been illegally tracking and vacuuming personal data about every Tom, Dick and Harry since WWII in pretty much every country of earth.
Cell phone data is especially juicy.
GPS coordinates, pattern overlap (your paramour and your wife get coffee at the same shop, what a surprise!)
Like I said before, you get real sick and bed ridden, the GPS coordinates on your phone STOP. That’s not your ‘normal’ pattern, gee wonder if your sick by looking at the data.
Cattle ranchers put GPS collars on their cattle. If the GPS X x Y doesn’t move in x number of minutes, the cow is either stuck on something or dead or eaten by something. Cowboy man goes and checks it out.
This kind data analysis is not rocket science. Even the slow on the uptake crowd should get this.
Jack this data stream way up about an individual several magnitudes and apply high end AI
It now comes in three main flavors
artificial narrow intelligence (A.N.I.)
artificial general intelligence (A.G.I)
artificial super intelligence (A.S.I.)
The Intelligence Mafia is collecting every iota of SARS-CoV-2 data effecting individuals and their reaction to the ‘vaccines’, in LIVE TIME.
Why would you think otherwise?
The Intelligence Mafia’s power is totally unchecked, doubt me, ask Julian, why would it miss the individual’s vaccine reactions?
You stop buying regular groceries for a week because you went blind from the ‘jab’ and had to go to the eye doctor.
Ya think the Intel Mafia doesn’t know? Really? When-where-how.
The Plandemic is a Big Experiment and the resulting data, the different reactions of the different parts of the population to it, is a GOLD MINE of info.
In fact, armed with the actual accurate data illegally surveiled up, NOT the fragments from VAERS, NOT the guess work of Websites, NOT the MSM bullshite, but the Real Data, the powers that be have successfully gathered up data that Nazi medical experiments could only dream of, in a thousand lifetimes!
So the questions about how humans are effected by the ‘vaccines’, vaxxed vs unvaxxed, are already known down to fractions of a decimal point, RIGHT NOW, just not by you or me or the butcher, baker or candle stick maker.
Big Data knows, RIGHT NOW, in live time. What a shock!
But they are a very small club and humanity is not in it.

TAE is an island of sanity.
The private/public corporate state have used propaganda to advance their goals since nonexistent Weapons of Mass Destruction were hyped to invade Iraq. A for-profit system based on lies is simply incapable of doing the public good. The USA is too corrupt and incompetent now to eradicate coronavirus.
Chaos is spreading through American cities. Pandemic fear is being ignited once again. We, the unvaccinated, are blamed. Further dividing Americans to stay in power and get richer.

Good luck in connecting mRNA to bad health effects in the future.

Press Release From Happy Valley Public School Board:
To all parents,
During these trying times, your compliance to the extra-ordinary measures we have had to undertake in order to stave off a global pandemic scourge has been a shining example for our community, and especially, for your very children.
That is why we now ask all of you to enroll you children in a phase 3 clinical vaccine trial. The data gained from this experiment will help science develop better vaccine technology to ensure safe and effective vaccines in the future.
As a successful vaccine campaign depends on maximum participation, fully trained personnel will be on hand during the first week of school to administer the necessary jabs. This will ensure 100% compliance in order to fully protect your child at school, in the community, and at home.
Child already vaccinated? No need to worry. Just bring her vaccine card to the school and the appropriate booster dose will be ready for added protection.
At this time unfortunately, we will not able to accommodate those who wish to abstain from this experiment as the safety of our future generations is paramount.

this is an excellent resource (some of the timeline examples are heartbreaking). if a med student in 2018, after having studied this document had answered that you could develop a vaccine in 7 months, have no animal testing, and conduct a poorly designed phase iii trial lacking a placebo on the majority of the adult population, they would have been laughed out of school at warp speed.
Vaccine Development, Testing, and Regulation
Paul Offit, MD, describes the general process of making a vaccine.
The College of Physicians of Philadelphia
Vaccine development is a long, complex process, often lasting 10-15 years and involving a combination of public and private involvement.
The current system for developing, testing, and regulating vaccines developed during the 20th century as the groups involved standardized their procedures and regulations.
Last update 17 January 2018
from the section on VAERS:
VAERS has successfully identified several rare adverse events related to vaccination. Among them are
• An intestinal problem after the first vaccine for rotavirus was introduced in 1999
• Neurologic and gastrointestinal diseases related to yellow fever vaccine
• Additionally, according to Plotkin et al., VAERS identified a need for further investigation of MMR association with a blood clotting disorder, encephalopathy after MMR, and syncope after immunization (Plotkin SA et al. Vaccines, 5th ed. Philadelphia: Saunders, 2008).
One Phase III goal is to assess vaccine safety in a large group of people. Certain rare side effects might not surface in the smaller groups of subjects tested in earlier phases. For example, suppose that an adverse event related to a candidate vaccine might occur in 1 of every 10,000 people. To detect a significant difference for a low-frequency event, the trial would have to include 60,000 subjects, half of them in the control, or no vaccine, group (Plotkin SA et al. Vaccines, 5th ed. Philadelphia: Saunders, 2008).
don’t forget to answer assessment questions at the bottom of the page.

There can be no other logical reason, considering the economic damage being inflicted by this mal-ware. Nobody would do this unless they had a political agenda that the end justifies the means.

Here we go. For me this post is in a sense a call to battle stations, as you will understand from the personal nature of what follows.
Long, long time reader, first time poster, lots of good info here so kudos to Raul and posters. As with many here my sense of foreboding is intermingled with frustration with respect to the current state of affairs. Please allow me to introduce myself and join the community.
My family and I live in Canada. I am an engineer. My wife is a registered nurse who works in a long term care home, has done so in the same facility for over 15 years. Having done our due diligence and finding the official narrative equal parts disturbing, unscientific and single minded, neither of us has received what is presently offered as a vaccine for this particular virus. A part of our concern is in what lies ahead for our 4 year old, and stiffens our resolve.
This despite the coercive attempts by my wife’s employer, mostly successful unfortunately, to push a jab on staff. The current situation is this…the provincial authorities have decided not to try to mandate vaccines for healthcare workers, and those unvaccinated have been told they must take compulsory “training”, continue to wear PPE, continue to be tested daily, change clothes onsite, basically making life as inconvenient as possible. In contrast the vaxxed need only wear minimal PPE. I suggested she wear a yellow star whilst at work but I wouldn’t expect anyone to understand the gesture nor do I think it would be respectful.
She has worked extra shifts the last 18 months, being moved onto the ‘covid floor’ during outbreaks because others were on stress leave or fearful, and volunteering to come in unpaid to help hydrate and feed the vulnerable who had fallen sick. And yet she is being vilified while many of those same staff members who took leave or asked to be moved out of the ‘covid floor’ are considered heroes for simply taking the path of least resistance and accepting a vaccine that really is a complete unknown with regard to long term effects, let alone the known dangerous short term effects? That being said, I am (very) cautiously optimistic that the silent majority, like our friends and family have proven, are at least tolerant if not indifferent to our position.
We are fully prepared for her to step down from her position should it come to that, which would be unfortunate. It seems the best we can hope for is this virus fades as they tend to and we manage to lie low.
In an alternate scenario as time passes and it is clear that the vaccines are useless, or worse yet, outright dangerous, my expectation is that any number of narratives will be spun blaming the dirty unvaxxed. Neither is a really hopeful scenario.July 25, 2021 at 4:44 am #80839WindleshamParticipant

Always a great site to visit for info not offered on the MSM. Have been following for years, comment almost never. A thought on A.I., get rid of your phone! We run a small residential painting company and as such had a phone attached to us everywhere we went. This past year I’ve been working to have this infernal thing surgically removed. We’ve set the wheels in motion so as to be without a digital track, at least by that form. All correspondence with be through email only on my lap top that never leaves the home office. In approx. two months the cell will be disconnected. This accomplishes two small, very small, steps away from the BAU. First the track and ping bs that is happening in the UK would be rendered useless if enough phones were at least left on the kitchen counter when going out. The tracking that is done for whatever reason becomes less valuable. Secondly it removes one more very tiny piece of the “income stream” from the narrative.
