I hadn’t been here for awhile, but this is an excellent recap of what’s actually going down. During the presidential campaign, I was just thinking about how 6 months can be spent campaigning while never talking about a single relevant issue—-not one single one. I didn’t vote and the way things are set up, most people arrive by design at the voting booth either fearful or angry and that’s wholly a function of media manipulation. I liken the current political/economic situation to a WWF match where either side sees the other one with the brass knuckles hitting their guy when the referee has his head turned. Of course, the press tells you what you’re seeing during the match. The only difference between the WWF and American politics is that observers of the latter don’t realize it’s fake. I do and that’s why I couldn’t vote. We are being given nothing to make real decisions on other than emotions.

I don’t doubt that the level of repression will escalate. OWS was a non-violent movement, but the real issue here is the desire to kill and snuff out ideas; the sort of ideas that raise questions about wealth disparity, undue influence of monied interests and the fact that the political class, having been bought lock, stock and barrel, haven’t represented people for decades. Everywhere one looks, there’s a sense of a information desert and that’s increasingly the case with the internet as well. Yes, we live in a world of lies and half truths.

It’s been awhile since I’ve posted anything here, but I’ve been lurking here occasionally. I’ve become convinced that the bailouts and money printing are merely a feature of a system that was destined to create a crisis and I’ve just come to believe that this crisis has been deliberately created and is diabolical in nature with the objective of reducing the entire globe to serfs. I know that smacks of conspiracy and collusion and I know that many don’t see that as plausible. Humans are highly susceptible to being manipulated by an appeal to our baser emotions and can be made to be a part of a conspiracy even without knowing it. For example, I’m an accountant and entered the profession simply because I like working with numbers and accounting concepts, however, people like me play an integral unwitting role in supporting the bankers whenever I assist with tax return preparation. The same could be said of attorneys, soldiers and others who unwittingly help support an economic and political system that’s inimical to their own interests. The system’s lifeblood has always been based on exploiting, creating dependencies or co-opting with the latter two creating a vested interest in it continuing. It’s just that now the system is going to require a pound of flesh and your first born and the illusion of fairness and equity is to be dispensed with. No, these people will never do the right thing and take the losses as that will mean the loss of their power and that can’t happen. As you’ve said, the street will be the most effective means of political participation, but that isn’t for the faint hearted as I fully expect that the bankers and their lackeys are prepared to spill blood—hell, they’ve already done that.

To me, this is not unlike the US Fed’s rigging of the markets with ZIRP. The purpose of the Fed’s manipulation is the same as the LIBOR fraud–to drive profits of the global banksters. None of this should be a surprise to anyone. Once they have gathered up as many real assets as they can, I expect them to collapse the system which will bring destitution to billions of people who remain tied into it.

Politically, this won’t be touched by either presidential candidate. As usual, the debate fare will be about verbal gaffes and a bunch of other stuff that really doesn’t matter. Look at how little press coverage this has gotten here in the US.

Well, this is my first message and I’m just checking out the place here. Congratulations Illargi, Stoneleigh & Co. for getting this set up and I look forward to continuing to get the sort of information that’s only found here.
