We will all need to apply “Challenge and Choices “. Let us know how the Greeks and the refugees are meeting their Challenge and Choices.
eg. 40% drop in rent yet 40% still cannot afford the rent.

“One of the terrorists in last night’s attack was carrying a Serbian passport which was stamped in Greece in October of this year (he came through as one of the so-called “refugees”.
Was this refugee escaping ISIS or was he escaping Bashar al-Assad

We have already entered a period of change. It started with 9/11, followed by destroying the financial system. The destruction continues down unexpected paths.
I agree with you, “…so far the drivers of change, and indeed the changes themselves, are ignored and/or denied.”

I prepare for changes that I see and must accept. I continuously change to try to respond to new forces of change.

    Let’s have a bit more understanding/emphaty.
There is no need to argue about the causes.
You cannot build a doomstead against what is happening.
Those refugees are not going to melt away like a snowball in hell.
Their hell is going to impact into your life and become your hell.

WHY IS VW BEING SINGLED OUT?
    Why not diesel engine mfg?
    Why not truckers?
    Why not busses?

” Carmakers are powerful corporations, as of course are diesel producers.

What Volkswagen has been caught cheating on concerns emissions of nitrous oxide. As for its CO2 levels, who knows what can, and maybe will, be found? The crucial question perhaps is, are we ever going to know?
And it took a while before that for the EPA to pick up on research conducted by the California Air Resources Board. Who in turn had joined up with studies already underway at West Virginia University and the non-profit International Council on Clean Transportation, which started ‘investigating’ diesel emissions two years ago.
The fact that the EPA has ordered recalls of vehicles dating back as far as 2009 is an indication of how long’s it’s taken to get this thing to the surface.”

There exist a major shortfall of food.
We need calories to stay alive.
Sedentary lifestyle – if you do very little or no exercise at all,
Your daily calorie requirement will be about 1,500.

UN food relief program faces funding shortfall as refugee crisis worsens

A quick calculation is in order.
4 million refugees are not contributing to the production of calories.
4 million refugees require a minimum of 1,500 calories per day from the producers/farmers.
    https://www.calorieking.com/foods/calories-in-rice-long-grain-white-rice-cooked-without-salt_f-ZmlkPTY0NjMw.html

There are 205 calories in 1 cup (5.6 oz) of Long Grain White Rice, cooked without salt. You’d need to walk 54 minutes to burn 205 calories.
    (4 million x 1,500 calories x 365 days x 7 cups rice)
Hungry people want to eat. WE ARE IN TROUBLE.

In Sweden, the government paid a language-analysis firm $900,000 last year to verify asylum-seekers’ claims of where they were from. In Athens, a Western Union branch has been disbursing €20,000 a day to migrants, reaping fees on each transaction. “I’m making at least twice the money I was making last year,” said Mohammed Jafar, the Afghanistan-born owner of the branch. “I wouldn’t make this in any other country in Europe.” …”

USA has 11 million illegal refugees that keep the economic wheels greased and keeps wages low for the poor.
I wonder how long UK and other countries’ poor workers will start doing bad reactions to having refugees take their starvation wages/jobs.

Let’s talk about something really important.

    The USA is spreading death.

    https://www.bbc.com/news/world-us-canada-33000959
US anthrax scare widens to 51 labs in 17 states

In addition to the US labs, samples were sent to facilities in Australia, Canada and South Korea.

Anthrax entered the US national consciousness in 2001, when shortly after the 9/11 attacks, letters containing powdered anthrax arrived at news organizations and the offices of US senators. Twenty-two people were sickened and of those, five people died.
