One, vaccines are still the most effective way, by far, to defeat this terrible pandemic. Nothing matters more than the speed at which shots go into arms — in Britain, in the U.S. and especially in poorer countries, where vaccination rates are still low.Two, behavior restrictions can still play a role in the interim. If hospitalizations or deaths in Britain rise over the next two weeks, there will be a strong argument for pushing back the full reopening of activities. And that has obvious implications for the U.S., too. Restricting indoor activities for unvaccinated people is particularly important.
Three, caseloads are no longer as important a measure as they used to be. Before the vaccines were available, more cases inevitably meant more hospitalizations and deaths. Now, the connection is more uncertain. As a recent Times story put it, paraphrasing British scientists, “upticks in new infections are tolerable so long as the vast majority do not lead to serious illness or death.”

We, the people, cannot implement “our” multitudes of answers.@ctbarnum, from yesterday, regarding forced vaccination to receive medical services. The easiest thing to do would be to change service providers, but I’m assuming there is not another clinic within a reasonable travel distance that you can switch to? (and that would not require a vaccination to receive services)
I’m not an attorney and don’t play one on TV or the internet, but I fail to see how the clinic can refuse service because you aren’t vaccinated. The loopholes you posted regarding “asking vaccination status” allow healthcare providers to ASK, but don’t appear to give them the ability to deny service based on vaccination status. (As a matter of fact, didn’t DeSantis publicly state that FL will not have mandatory vaccination?)
Regarding the statements you posted about what is allowed “under a “public health emergency” set by the state health officer ..”, if the governor has lifted the emergency mandate then it doesn’t seem FL is under a public health emergency set by the STATE health officer. If that is the case, how can a locality unilaterally decide it has power under a “public health emergency” to mandate you get a vaccination to receive services?
I recommend you contact ICAN (Informed Consent Action Network: icandecide.org) with a brief summary of your situation and ask their advice. They have taken legal action in various states against this type of behavior. Check out their link to “Formal Demands to Government Agencies” (FL is in there – ICAN lawyers have been active in FL for much more minor infractions than what you are facing).
Another option is to contact America’s Frontline Doctors (americasfrontlinedoctors.org). I’m not sure they directly assist people, but they have a legal team that may provide advice or point you in the right direction.
You should also contact the state health dept (cc: the governor’s office) in writing … over and over and over again … until someone explains to you, in writing, just why you are being denied medical care due to vaccination status.
Whatever you do, don’t give up!

Socialism: how on earth would any of that be true when all the named items are run by government? A merger of corporation and states, with an express ban on competition? Owning, or in this case, controlling, the means of production using law from central government is expressly, definitionally, “socialism”.

At least until the investigational vaccines get actual approval from the FDA (instead of Emergency Use Authorization), the vaccination decision is not supposed to impact one’s medical care. The “FDA-issued EUA Fact Sheet for Recipients and Caregivers” for all these vaccines specifies that “Should you decide not to receive it, it will not change your standard medical care.”

Unemployment income and welfare income were not enough to prevent living in misery.
I could not miss work, do alcohol, drugs, overmedication, go on demonstration during working hours.
I could not accept a wage less than my expenses.
As expenses increased, I had to get a raise or find a better paying job.
If I did not show up for work
If I could not perform my job due to drugs etc.

Today, its not like that for blue collar workers.

It means that perhaps, finally, there will be true price discovery for gold (and silver). To date, the prices of these two commodities (and uniquely, only these two commodities) are set in the paper CME futures markets and are not based on actual supply and demand in the ‘real’ world.
