Thank you for keeping track of the global COVID statistics every day. I would like to point out one thing. As a resident of New York state, I need you to understand that it takes SEVEN DAYS for people who have been tested to receive the results. Therefore, the number of confirmed cases in New York City that you quote above as being 30,000 is in reality a snapshot of what the situation was like SEVEN DAYS AGO. Please can someone do the math to figure out a more realistic picture of how many approximate infections there are in New York.
Also, please bear in mind that many NYC residents are sick and either not getting tested or are unable to be tested. I have friends in the city who have flu-like symptoms yet their doctors are not prepared to test them. They are told to stay home and take over-the-counter medication. And this is supposedly the richest country in the world…
