MY MY MY I agree with everything you said. See what happens when you just come out and say it. “Liberals” are opening pandoras box with cancel culture and trying to get people fired and trying to control what people can say. Yes a backlash will happen, and i will not take part in any of it. I point out what i do just to say please don’t open pandoras box. Forgive them father they know not what they do. I was saying in 2016 that Trump was just Obama for white people, and he was. So you understand the problem, do you point this out to your friends? And if so how do they treat you when you do? Have you figured out how to get past what i think is probably their response? I’m still working on it. I think Darkmatters comment is a perfect wedge to actually get the gears turning. Compare it like he did to something that was proven to be a crock of poo. Thank you for you reponse, i enjoyed it!

    @ Mr. HOuse

“We used to call it the Flu.”

Even though it often wasn’t. Even though many cases reported as covid may have been influenza. What we used to call it makes a nifty rhetorical device but alas, opne based on pointless nonsense.

So you got sick and got better. Yeah. Everyone should be more like you, I suppose. DUrn those people who get sick and die. Messing up our nice clean paradigm.

You won’t understand me until you pull those fingers out of your ears.

except we no long have cases of the flu or hadn’t you heard.

Here is a rational reason for why dem/lins are currently the more loudly heard voice of obnoxious blaming and agaenda:

Gallup: Democrats now outnumber Republicans by 9 percentage points, thanks to independents

They’re in power, currenmtly in vogue, and the bigger clique usually rules, and with impunity. That makes more sense than what amounts to claiming you’ve seen inside the liberal group gestalt psyche (whatever the fuck that might be) and seeing qualities that one feels superior to even as one demonstrates those same qualities in oneself. After all, you would never oppress anyone, would you? No. You’re special.

Except they weren’t in 2016 and all we heard were the voices of DEMS and ladies wearing pink hats marching around. And the media went on and on about catholic kids picking on drum pounding vets and blah blah blah

    Sore throat
    Loss of appetite
    Extreme fatigue or tiredness
    Headache
    Body aches

I had all of those in Feb of 2020, and was better after three days. We used to call it the Flu.

    @madamski

I guess i’ll never get what you’re saying.

Excellent answer and i agree. I still think it all goes back to needing to print money. The monetary system is the key, heck its the reason we invaded Iraq in the early 2000’s. Remember how they were selling oil to the EU for euro’s? Nah bro its all about WMD’s! Its like most of humanity suffers from Stockholm syndrome.

Whoever is trying to oppress you madamski, i will oppose. One group is very vocal and active with oppression right now. I will oppose them to the death. If the rednecks decided to be the oppressive group, i would oppose them to the death also. Can we agree we are against oppression and what oppression is?

Do they? I’ve also had exp. with both groups and one will try to shame you if you don’t wear a mask outside and the other doesn’t give a shit. Which is preferable? What are “conservatives” forcing you to do? Are they threating a bible passport for you to be able to go about your life? This isn’t 1600. It’s like you try to be on both positions at the same time. COVID is super deadly but also its overblown.

“but I think going for such a long time without a major war, famine, or pandemic has made us “go soft” about the harsher realities that are involved in living in this world.”

What do you think “woke” is? I think it is people who deep down see what is coming, a future that will be harsh and unforgiving, and that is the way they protest it. If circumstances force us back to older methods of organizing society with less energy available to be consumed, alot of people who get by now on do nothing desk jobs are not going to be happy. Perhaps woke is merely a protest against circumstances many of them cant/won’t bear.

If i inflate the cost of having children am i altering your ability to be free? Dr. D is right with most of his rants. We punish those who are prudent and praise those who are not. Reward those who have children that can’t afford it and punish those who try to play within the rules. Its been this way for some time and exponentially getting worse the last 20 years. I’m all for compassion but everything has its limits. Why do those who take on debt get to write of interest expenses against taxes while those who save money pay taxes on interest? Why are 401ks tax free if not touched until 60 something, but any money i save on my own and keep within my own control is taxed? The system is setup this way and i think intentionally.

“It is all about freedom, being free to live your life”

This may be more apparent now with it which will not be named, but that has been the question for quite some time. If i inflate the cost of shelter am i altering you being free to live your life? If i inflate the cost of essentials am i altering you being free to live your life? If i force strange new cultural norms on you via corporations am i altering you being free to live your life?

pointing out a coup might be occurring or that the media is trying to scare the shit out of people, or that the medical industry is corrupted, are not ban worthy in my opinion. Neither is not agreeing with MMT. The problem with people wedded to ideology or ideas (Yves, Wolf Richter) is that they can not think without them. I belong to the common sense party, we’re now accepting members!

Online discourse should never be banned or censored unless you are advocating some very vile things. But asking questions and asking people to consider alternatives is never ban worthy. Funny she moved out of NYC right at the end of 2019. Just like the record number of CEOS that resigned in 2019. Almost like someone said here’s the gameplan, and they didn’t want to be a part of it. But who knows, up is down and down is up these days.

She banned me once around the 2016 election because i called hillary clinton a carpet muncher. Not that their is anything wrong with that, i just think hillary is and due to “politics” won’t admit it, which in my eyes is worse then calling someone a name.

Yves smith is a coward in many ways. She goes which ever way the wind blows. Also she won’t admit she’s wrong or apologize to anyone she censored or banned because they didn’t believe in the religion of covid. Read the comments on that article. Still tons of people who refuse to admit they were wrong.

    They lied about social distancing.

    They lied about shut downs.

    They lied about HQC.

    They lied about ivermectin.

The answer is power. You can not talk rationally with SJWs, they will call anything you argue racist. You can not argue with Covid hysterics, they will tell you that you want to kill grandma. They aren’t open to argument, their goal is power and nothing less. Understand that and you’ll stop wondering why they lie and the double standards.

“how much effort they put into challenging any questioning of vaccine safety. Quite the obfuscation act, ‘if you ask me”

But we already knew that, anybody who died 28 days of being tested for covid and positive was a covid death. Anybody who dies a few days after getting the vaccine, well we need to do more research on that and can’t jump to conclusions. The questions becomes why they lie and why the double standards. Something simple like they just needed an excuse that couldn’t be questioned to print money? Or something more nefarious

“The Powers That Be work with scripts. Sometimes it is as simple as anticipating outcomes and priming the press to portray those events in a certain light: some people/interests as the bad guys, others as our guys. Other times it is rewriting history after the event to cover up an inconvenient truth, as President Lyndon Johnson did with the attack on the USS Liberty in 1967. Other times entire ‘happenings’ are scripted, such as the Gulf of Tonkin Incident in 1964.

More important to know, intelligence agencies use scripts today. Covid is a script, changing in real time, but with politicians closely following choreographed parts. Many religious texts are scripts. The attacks of 9/11 formed a very intricate script, even if you blame cave-dwelling terrorists for putting all the elements together. The Skripal poisoning is a script – it’s been written up by the BBC as a television script which differs from the script that was handed out at the time to the press. Sergei Skripal’s handlers were working on a script that we call the pee-pee, or dirty, dossier. Their scripts are integral to their actions.

Governments have always employed script writers. It is no coincidence that lots of bestselling authors have come out of the intelligence services and their books have helped form the public’s world view: Graham Greene, Ian Fleming, John le Carré, or those tightly associated with the agencies like Tom Clancy. Hollywood is even more important in forming the public mind, known as cultural programming or predictive programming. Usually these rewrite the authorized history of an event after it has happened (Argo, American Made or pretty much any WWII movie) but sometimes they introduce an idea to the public mind like Arnon Milchan’s Lone Gunman, Medusa Touch and Fight Club movies all anticipated 9/11.

Politicians and oligarchs have changed little through the ages. Read the plays of Aristophanes and Aeschylus. Joseph Campbell showed there are only a few basic plots. Political biographers and military historians reveal that leaders are far more likely to employ the same techniques than to strike out on their own.

That’s our advantage. We, the People, have seen their kind before.

Work with narratives, ideas, and perceive their scripts and plans. Do not be misled too early into a hunt for information, counting bullet cases on the Grassy Knoll, except in so far as it supports ideas.”

” The Cabal is an abhorrence, regardless of the above. The people may be stupid but the cabal is venal and has base motives. They are cynics, knowing the price of everything and the value of nothing. This matters. However much the Rockefeller and Carnegie tax-evading foundations pump relativism into the children’s brains, it does matter what you do and why you do it.

Guilty of playing God, members of the cabal overestimate their intelligence more than anyone. That makes them more dangerous, a greater liability to society.

They are not simply stupid, however. They are not causing loss to society by accident or incompetence. They are acting with intent. That makes them in Cipolla’s study of stupid, bandits: he who causes a loss to others with malice and intent to enrich himself.

Given that they have motive, means and opportunity, that makes the Cabal guilty of pre-crime by the same standards that Peter Thiel and friends apply to the rest of us.

Society, at root, is a system by which we protect ourselves from gangs, bandits, organized crime and those who incorporate to pursue selfish interests. We cannot let those very people run society or it has lost its very purpose.

It is not that society is morally superior or inherently good. Nor is government, either. It is a system of mutual protection, first, with the optional extras of mutual support and assistance.

The people may be stupid but there is a danger in our midst. It is time to grab the pitchforks, shake the straw from our sleepy heads and identify the cabal.”
