I do understand human nature, and i do understand that when people in high places have everything to lose by telling the truth, they generally don’t tend to tell the truth.

“As a people we need to face the fact that we actually know very little about this virus.”

Indeed, and when i don’t understand something i don’t blast conflicting information day in and day out. I tend to keep my mouth shut. I still don’t know anything about the virus because its worse then the plague for some people but most don’t even know they have it.

Wasn’t me, i didn’t comment that day. Thats another thing, how the big tech companies are tightening the vice on all of us. How they started doing that as soon as trump won the election in 2016. Suddenly we have fake news (which mainly is the people telling the truth) and propornot. Now they censor any different viewpoints online with regard to it which shall not me named.

Oh and Raul, off topic, but you had a guest post years ago. A younger gentleman in Grad school in england i think. It was an excellent post, he imagined what it must have been like to be in battle during the ancient times. And how Giant corporations are basically dinosaurs in our society is in phase change. That would be an excellent article to repost. And thank you for all you do, i do really appreciate your writing.

If those who run our country have our best interests in mind, why wouldn’t they let the people know what was in the TPP and other great trade deals? Why did we have to pass obamacare to findout what was in it? You think, that if the rest of the world said F you to the US (china not wanting to put up with our BS anymore with regards to trade and so forth) that they would just tell us? All these people know how to do is lie. And all we know how to do is nod our heads in agreement.

“The whole topic has become political, masks are no good, nor are lockdowns, if that serves a purpose. Same for they are good, just for a different audience. And if we can use it to keep Biden in his basement, we will. ”

This is true, and that is how i know its not serious. People are scared now, but not because of the virus. I bet if you ask 100 people how many know someone first hand who has had the virus, 99 will say they don’t know anyone. People are scared because everything has gone crazy, its been turned up to 11. 2008 Destroyed alot of trust in the system, this is destroying the remaining trust it had, and the trust that people have for other people. Maybe its different in Athens, but most people you walk past on the street now in america cross to the other side or walk out into the road if you’re on the same side of the sidewalk as them. Everyone is the enemy, if not because of the virus, then probably because they don’t agree with you politically. And you could write plenty about all the financial BS that has gone on for the past seven months. Why were REPOS going crazy starting september of last year and all the way up until the virus? Why did that stress end once QE was started up again on a massive scale? You might consider that just as abstract as the virus, but i don’t think so. My savings account still yields .25 percent after a decade. I still can’t afford to buy a house. I have to deal with shyster landlords who try to nickle and dime you because they are the definition of a rentier.

Why don’t you try a thought experiment on who is benefiting from this virus? You are an excellent writer, but you can’t imagine any way shape or form that this isn’t what we’re being told it is?

“Every time I tweet about Covid, I lose about 100 followers. People really don’t want to hear about Covid anymore. They’re sick of it, and they hate anyone who reminds them of it.”

Well duh. EVERY DAY FOR THE PAST FIVE MONTHS ITS ALL WE’VE HEARD ABOUT. That and the information isn’t even that good. Every site you visit has the cases and death charts, EVERY SITE! Even yahoo finance give you covid stats. I feel like alex at the end of clockwork orange, you’ve all got my eyes pried open and i’m bound to chair and i have to watch covid stats and competing narratives for five months straight. Not to mention i still don’t know a single person first hand who’s had the virus.

And all the while, as you were locked up in your house and every independent business went the way of the dodo, and we all argued to boogaloo or not to boogaloo, everything changed for the worse. Based on the actions i’ve witnessed the last 20 years i’m 100% certain the government doesn’t give a F&(# about you unless their is something in it for them. Why does my government spy on its own citizens? What are they scared of? And why has it all been ramping up the last 20 years? Has my country been in a depression since the year 2000, but papered over with money printing and ginned up statistics? I’d say thats a safer bet then buying stocks.

The burden of truth lies not with myself or you, but with our esteemed governments. Now i’m only 36 but i’m rather certain the government doesn’t generally tell the truth from my short time on earth. Here is an idea, perhaps we are living thru the transition from American Empire to something else as we speak. And our kind world leaders have decided to do it some other way then world war. Do you think they’d just come out and tell you that? Or concoct some other story to keep you distracted and then one day you wake up and they’re like welcome to new world, sorry about the old world.

Blackrock will buy them, just like last time. With 0% money from the fed. And rent them back to you for your whole paycheck.

During a freaking pandemic? You offer a loan of 400,000 to someone who makes 40k? And you wonder why someone of us questions this pandemic.

Why do banks still offer loans of 400,000 to someone who makes 40k a year like they did to the two gents who live below me?

    “Let the mass evictions begin.”

That was always going to be the outcome when prices can only go up. After 2008 why didn’t these people save money? Why do these people have children they can’t afford? Why do they have cars and toys they can’t afford? Why doesn’t anyone act responsibly for themselves? Because they aren’t living in reality, the illusion, and everyday we do not let prices correct it is only going to get worse. I’ve been pondering these issues for quite some time, dabbling on leftist sites and some more to the right. All kinds of different people who react and act in different ways, but one thing applies to both. The expectations or base reality must be the same for everyone for them to make decisions on, and until prices correct they will never make proper decisions

People are too partisan, it either has to be all left or all right, never realizing that neither extremes work well.

No one is willing to accept pain. I know its not popular to say it but people should save more, no matter what their income is. Having that money on hand for emergencies is the only kind of freedom you truly have in a system like ours. But the media and the government don’t want people to save, and the TV tells them not to. So they don’t, and then as soon as something bad happens all we here are the cries to the heavens of who will save us! Is this a society worth saving?

Let me get this straight, we all accept that rich powerful people will murder a man in prison so their dirty deeds won’t come out, but not that they would create a false flag/pandemic to cover up financial collapse. The thing we’ve been coming to this site for a decade to learn about.

Here is an interesting tidbit of information. Bumble, an online dating app, will not let you sign into your account unless you agree and support BLM. Not sure what that has to do with dating, but got me wondering who owns bumble? A quick search shows that blackstone, the same people running Trumps bailouts, owns a majority position in bumble……. when the big corporations support your movement, you’re a front or you’ve been co opted.

“I am genuinely appalled at Powell in Q&A saying The Fed is wilfully ignoring the financial bubbles they are creating. I thought after the 2001 NASDAQ and 2008 housing debacle they would have learnt that when these bubbles burst it makes the recession much worse. Utter morons”

I used to think like albert edwards….. but it all makes sense if you understand this is about power and nothing out. If the market has price discovery and debt is wiped out, those who rule us lose power. We can’t have that, better to make life worse for the masses until they force our hand

Very interesting idea. I think its even more simple then that, i’m a firm believer that High School never ends. The people that hate trump are doing it because its the cool thing to do. You should see all the online dating profiles that state if you voted for trump don’t bother trying to date me. I doubt most of these people have any grasp of politics or philosophy beyond what the TV tells them.

After our first weekend of being open since lockdown and some random conversations in public, i am very worried about how some people are handling this. The anti trump people have turned the volume up to 11, and if you try and explain to them that things aren’t very different under trump then they were under obama they storm off like you just insulted their mother in the worst way imaginable. They’re frothing at the mouth, i guess to get rid of trump, but i doubt that’ll change anything. You can’t have a conversation with these people.
