ParticipantOh sorry. Just realised I can donate using euros. Duh. I’m assuming the same rule applies re euros ending in .99? Please could you confirm Llargi?

ParticipantWould it be possible to donate in euros for Greece? Much as I love the banks (not!) I’m not keen on giving them a cut of my donation by first converting from UK pounds to dollars and then to euros presumably.

ParticipantHi Ilargy, great idea. I have made a donation. Hope the trip goes well. May I suggest you take a bunch of painkillers with you since I read one can’t even buy an aspirin in Athens? Safe trip.

ParticipantAnyone aware of any countries who DO act in the interests of their poorer citizens anymore (assuming they ever did)? Or even a country that acts in the interest of the plurality / relative majority as opposed to the power-and-moneyed elites
Bhutan apparently…

ParticipantThanks for another great article Nicole. Could you possibly explain how and why “credit bubbles bring forward demand by artificially stimulating it but when they burst the demand borrowed from the future must be repaid”? (no doubt you’ve already explained how it works somewhere….)
