Trying to gin up a war with China: how’s this for a theory? They’re broke and need to steal China’s overseas dollars the same way they just bought a few months stealing Russia’s. Now THAT’S plausible.

Quite a variety of good things in the 1900s, the progressive reforms. Created the world we know today. The Jungle isn’t untrue, but there were good times all over too and you could write a new, more horrifying “Jungle” today. Right down the street, I’m sure. One thing that strikes me from “not socially acceptable” is true, but like in Little Women, or Angela’s Ashes, if you’re living hard with barely enough then giving or not giving is much less of a choice. We’re not used to thinking this way, that if I feed the neighbor’s kids when they come over, my kids will go hungry, but we’re about there now. Much less perfect strangers who also may have made bad choices. Do you put on your own oxygen mask first? Or not? What good will it do for both of us to be in a box? It always surprises me where I’m from that everyone seems to think we have limitless food and clothes lying around going to waste. So we can “just feed everyone” if we feel like it, but we’re selfish and don’t. Maybe that is true now, but I didn’t grow up with it. Limits and hardship are the human condition.

How to allocate is also a constant, complex, and touchy problem. There’s the root assumption now that we always and ever do it according to “the law”. Why? It wasn’t that way for 5,000 years and it was accomplished by several other means. WE did it. US. Not somebody else. When we need that food and half is wasted in the welfare administration, that idea comes in handy. It says I can double the number of people fed in 10 minutes, but discussing that – and therefore feeding those 40M extra people – is “mean”. It HAS to be the government. Always. Never me, you, or anybody else. THEM. But them = us, with 50% overhead, and tons of corruption.

Moral and cultural standards don’t need to be “the law”. “The Law” is supposed to be written in our hearts, and if it isn’t the John Law and the local Mayor sure ain’t gonna make it. There will be a “or else” be it shame, or law but one of them has wildly higher costs that are better spent elsewhere, and wicked backfires that blow up on us all.

Polemos, that depends. In theory, you can’t have infinite growth on an finite earth. Even if the entire planet were made of oil, we would run out. …Or convert one form of matter to another. So that’s not the issue. And suppose there is abiotic oil. Certainly it seems to be improbably deep under the surface to be dead dinosaurs – like +30,000 feet at Deepwater Horizon. That’s not the point either: it could be too expensive to lift, not energy dense enough, like shale isn’t, or even if both were okay, it may not refill any faster than conventional oil. Even 10x as fast would make it “Nonrenewable” for our human purposes. I’d like to know more about how biotic oil seems to be all over the planet at 30,000 feet, (Brazil’s megafield, off the continental shelf is another one), but that’s not the point either.

The point is all the oil we KNOW we have. We’re directed by media to turn our attention to everywhere it’s running out, like Saudi. And they are indeed pulling a +95% water cut on Gawar, which is a field so large it takes almost all their other fields combined to match it. Certainly there is oil in Sudan, thus the war, and East Africa, thus the war. Angola, thus the war, Nigeria, thus the war…gee there sure seem to be a lot of Americans and a lot of wars wherever oil is found, and somehow the war always STOP oil and prevent the flow, like in Libya, big producer now shut-in.

We know from US and Russian actions they both believe there is a lot of oil in the Arctic, which we already know from Alaska and ANWAR. …And not too many dinosaurs and algae at the arctic circle, more questions how it got there, but there sure seems to be enough to fight over. More fields.

And what about Russia? They’re not selling the crown jewels, the last drop of oil. They have plenty, enough to sell as well, and no problems finding more to fill a new and ENORMOUS NordStream2. Which was going to run flat-out for a generation before the West blew it up.

So as I say, Europe may be so idiotic, so self-destructive, so suicidal as to “Run out of oil” but that’s an active choice. Russia would sell them all they want cheap, and probably fill the United States too. Clearly Russia and Iran alone could fill the world for 40-80 years. …But they don’t WANT that. Trump must always “tear into”, “Rail against”, etc. You’re a journalist, therefore the only word we use is “Mr. Trump ‘Said.’” Except in unique conditions, any other presentation is propaganda. And you’re propaganda-persuading AGAINST yourself. What sense does that make? If you’re going to be an Activist, not a journalist (crazy, I know), then at least be an Activist for the right side. Very standard, which is why the Republican Party should and needs to be erased. Happily, all sides agree on this goal.

Yes, and along with the fantasies they print at real – that any statement by any government should be credited at all – there are probably more people who believe in Flat Earth than there are KKK members. Or them and the Nazis combined. Or even what we used to call racists, back when words had actual meanings. That is, people who admit, are proud to be racist, and wouldn’t stay in the same room with other races. If you poll on that right now, no one will admit it, so there are probably fewer “racists” in America than transgender people. Want to test me? Look it up.

That is, the bureaucracy is an unaccountable, unelected government unto itself, who is a foreign occupier against YOU, against The People. The DGAF government. Pay me. Shut up or I’ll arrest you. Worse than pre-revolutionary France.
