When it happens the first time, we can cut him some slack and say “inexperience”. When he surrounds himself with the worst possible advisors a second time…sorry that’s no accident. That is exactly who Trump is.
Trump is con man and everyone got taken by him…twice! No shame in that as he was the last opportunity for peaceful change. But to continue to pretend he is the white knight about to save us all. Such ignorance deserves to be shamed. As for the 5D chess nonsense…pfft!
Trump is the true face of all the oligarchs. There are no good guys in the Epstein Class…just pedophiles and those protecting pedos. This isn’t rocket science to figure out. Yet some people don’t want to know. They can’t face the reality that the system is so corrupt that there will be no happy ending for anyone in the West.
Nevertheless it is a luxury to be a westerner(especially an American) and be able to blame everything on someone else. We’re not responsible for anything, therefore Trump isn’t responsible either. It’s all those nasty people around him and us who ruin everything!

Granted two days isn’t much. I was simply surprised by all the internal US politics and no mention of Iran. Today no mention of Mexico either.

According to the 5 D chess crowd, Trump is fighting the globalists, which makes Trump a good guy because the globalists are our bigger enemy.

I gave up on Kunstler a while ago too. He had value, and was entertaining reading, during Covid. But throw Israel into the mix and his value as an objective commentator vanishes. I suspect he’s just a Trump apologist now…keeping the MAGA suckers in line
Are scientists bringing back extinct species a good thing or is it a case of scientists with too much time on their hands? Like the ones who began the global warming nonsense back in the 1990s.
How about the government only provide funding to scientists who work towards disease cures and treatments? The rest can go out in the world and get real jobs.

A short time ago I would have said Trump cares about American lives. Meaning he couldn’t care less about foreign lives. Take a look at the Canadian electoral map. As usual Montreal, Ottawa, Toronto and Vancouver decide who runs Canada. Everything else is blue. Why can’t those cities just run themselves(including supporting the poverty stricken Maritimes) and allow the rest of the country to run itself?

I’ve enjoyed reading Dr.D’s posts and I am sorry to see him damaging his credibility on the tariff issue. My advice would be for him to stick to covering events with his welcome sense of humour and steer clear of the tariffs.
Threatening to destroying another’s economy is negotiating? I don’t think so. Trump is no deal maker. He’s a bully who always gets his way then pretends he negotiated a deal.
What I really don’t understand is how Americans confuse a giant Victim Complex for 4D chess…unless all Americans share the same Victim Complex. “Those dirty foreigners are always out to rip us off! They hate us because we’re the greatest country ever!”
Sorry to introduce reality but America makes nothing but consumes more than anyone else. That’s not sustainable.
