Only 4 seats for Reform? Liberal-Dems gained over 60! Sein Fein won 4 seats and ran candidates in less than a dozen ridings! To top it all off: the most anti-war politician in UK, George Galloway, lost his seat.

Americans may lament that free and fair elections have become extinct, however what’s the point of having them? I don’t want to say people are too stupid to vote for change but… Perhaps they’re too fearful. Or is it too lazy to care? Too immature to take responsibility for their own society? No I’ll go with dumb because they can’t recognize the media propaganda demonizing politicians like Farage and Galloway. Just like 80% wanted the Clot shots!

You can’t fix stupid. But we already know we can’t fix the real economy with voting. Live beyond your means for decades and you eventually must pay up.

I do think we need to lose this idea that the citizens of the West are innocent victims. Unless Marie Antoinette was an innocent victim. Let’s put 100% of the blame on the political class and the media and the billionaires. But no blame on me because I won’t take responsibility for anything!

    90s tv!!!

You need to go back to the 1950s, to Norman Rockwell’s America. That’s how you save the country!

Who knew that the Eddie Haskells would grow up to run America? And I was expecting Ernie Bilko.

Those who predicted there would be no election in 2024 are essentially correct. The water is now so muddied with millions of illegal voters that it’s not possible to hold anything except a fake election.

Explain to me how this doesn’t end with President Hillary Clinton? You think she’s going to sit around in retirement while another Democrat gets anointed President?

Doesn’t look like that bear is going to catch the moose. Is there a sports analogy in that video? The Russian bear chasing the world champion Canadians at hockey and curling. Tough to beat them when you’re banned from the “world” championship.

Canada turns into America. We’re world champs and no one is allowed to challenge us! Like Americans and their World Series, NFL & NBA world championship. How insular can you get? And why am I getting a vision of Jack Johnson chasing Tommy Burns all the way to Australia to get a fight?

I’d like to see Wimbledon ban all vaxxed players. Djokovic can win every title until he turns 70!

Still on this sporting theme: how juvenile have we become in the West? LPGA tour has one Russian on it – Nataliya Guseva. Each player has their country’s flag on the official leaderboard, except one. Guseva isn’t from anywhere. Her citizenship has been cancelled. That’ll teach Putin not to mess with us!

Tucker Carlson made the best point we need to remember: They don’t create anything.

They got rich and powerful by gaming the system. Being the most corrupt in a corrupt system. In their fantasies, they talk about building back better( like they talk about Ukraine winning) but they are not competent enough to do anything.

Their talent is in wrecking things, which is what they’ll do. But we all consented to this destruction of western society. We’ve been going along with it, selling out the future with endless debt, my entire life. Being irresponsible we’ll blame it all on these idiot Globalists. However this ship was always going to sink.

They are not omnipotent Gods. And we are not innocent victims.

I’m always hearing that half the population will buy anything. Yes I see people wearing masks in June and conclude that too many people still watch the CBC. But that’s only 1% – 2%. Now is “half” it 50% exactly? How many insane actions will it take to drop to 49%? Seriously, this sounds as scientific as Climate Science.

Who cares if it’s half when the other half – with guns – continue to endure lockdowns, mandates and an illegal immigrant invasion? Might as well be 100%. Until the day the system breaks and everyone’s credit rating stops covering it up. Then you can forget 50%. If they ruin the currency and can’t even bribe their government workers then they won’t even get 5% support.

Why would anyone support chaos? Even the Baby Boomers aren’t that dumb.

What does one envision a Putin surprise attack as being? Are we talking about destroying every NATO base west of France(including the US bases in Germany)? Or sinking every NATO ship in the western Mediterrean?

Would it be too reckless to take out every conventional weapon NATO has that could reach Russia? Then wait and see how the USA reacts. With the only counter attack option being nuclear, would the Russians be willing to gamble that the loudmouth WWF leaders of NATO will throw a fit but do nothing else?

Would such a devastating attack trigger the break in confidence and the inevitable economic collapse in the West? Sure it’s prudent for China/Iran/Russia to wait for the West to self destruct but something needs to trigger it. With the western mind being so far down the rabbit hole…

That’s my simple/optimistic view on things. Putin with a 1st Round KO(or are we already in the 3-4 round?). After the dust settles, the Globalists who run the West have Russia to blame for the economic collapse. Mission Accomplished! Then we pivot to the real front line in WW3 – western governments against their own citizens. Meanwhile the sane societies in the world just move on with life. See you after the Globalist Thousand Year Reich ends and our New Dark Age plays itself out.

Dr.D keep in mind that Dr.Who was revived by a homosexual. Guess we must take the good with the bad. At least – up to Matt Smith, which was as long as I lasted – it wasn’t blatant homosexuality on the screen, like they had in Torchwood. Then again one must take the good with the bad: excellent stories with guys kissing on screen. Yuck!

What lost me in the modern version was the emphasis on action over story(basically the 21st century West. All virtue signaling, no substance). They’d cut so many corners to turn 4 episode stories in 50 minutes. That and the super human females hopping into the Tardis. I miss the 60’s and helpless screaming girls. Back when women were women!

The original Doctor wasn’t just old, he was old and grumpy! How’d he ever turn into the charismatic Tom Baker? Lucky the BBC had a monopoly on entertainment in 1965. I also wonder how some salt and pepper shakers could nearly conquer the universe?

Oh it’s make believe! I guess I better stop waiting for Dr.Who to return to save Ukraine.

Give PCR credit for mentioning one of the most thought provoking movies to come out of Hollywood. His takeaway from it seems a bit simple. There was much more going on than just saying justice prevailed over the law.

What impressed me most about Unforgiven was that it came on the heels of Dances With Wolves. The stark realism in contrast to the idealism of the former film was what most impressed me. Eastwood didn’t try to put any of his characters in a box and went out of his way to make things uncomfortable for his audience. That’s exactly how such a violent story should be told. Costner simply had the cowboys and indians swap black hats for white hats.

What PCR neglects to mention is the most important line in Unforgiven(relative to our current times). Gene Hackman, about to die, claims he doesn’t deserve this fate. Clint’s reply: “Deserving got nothing to do with it”

I’m sure I’ve asked this here before but I’ll do it again:

China competing with the USA for influence over Europe. Why? At least the Americans have reasons: 1) to extract what little wealth is left in Europe 2) to use Europe against Russia.

What value does Europe have for China or Russia or Iran? There are no natural resources. The continent is being de-industrialized so it won’t make anything. Do they still have any gold? I know ten years ago Merkel was taking Germany’s gold back(a suitcase full each time she came home from NY). Plus you’ve got an ethnic blueprint which makes 1991 Bosnia look like a Sunday School picnic.

Isn’t everyone living in the past thinking Europe still has value? Like every western country it has a spoiled, narcissistic population and it has massive debt. Plus the leadership is in the process of dividing and destroying western society. Meanwhile the citizens continue to show how useless they are by not resisting such destruction.

Europe had a thousand year Dark Age after the Roman Empire collapsed. Then it figured out how to plunder the rest of the world so it did matter for 5 centuries. Time’s up! It’s on the verge of another collapse. Which is why the most powerful people in Europe are talking about a Great Reset. The new aristocracy which will rule the next Dark Age…they hope for another thousand years.

Iran afraid of Jordan and the Sunni monarchies? LOL! Iran knows that when the America money runs out…

It’s a Stupid test. Do these alleged allies of Israel stay on the good ship USS America until it sinks – taking their government with it – or do they get into the lifeboats while they still have a chance?

I’d bet on the Saudis pivoting at just the right time. I have little hope for the rest, including Egypt.

Closer to home, Canada benefitted from riding the coat tails of two world empires. No pivot to see here. It’s on its way down with the USA. But we know how Canadians do on Stupid tests. 80% passing grade(or should that be failure?) with the covid “vax”.

You’d think Kunstler would be smarter. Islam’s goal is to exterminate all non-Muslims! Does that include all the Christians and Jews who have lived in Muslim countries for centuries?

Please keep the Jews out of politics. They’re a credit to any society doing anything else but the moment they get anywhere near politics they turn into a cancer on society.

Follow the money? In 1917 NY banks were all in with war loans to Britain and stood to lose that investment unless the British won WW1. Thus America entered the war to protect that investment.

I wonder how big the investment in Ukraine is and if it’s reason enough for history to repeat itself.

    Re: Russia’s pivot to Asia.

I fail to understand the benefit of trade with Europe and running pipelines there or energy hubs(Turkey). Maybe a few years ago it mattered. What’s Europe have to offer Russia, or anyone else now? Euros, backed by trillions in debt? What else? Limited natural resources. No industrialization. A spoiled, infantile population. A ethnic map that reminds me of Bosnia 1991.

Europe will be a giant charity case for the rest of the world. Short term it will be total chaos which must be contained.

Pepe Escobar is interesting reading, however there are times I feel like “Chinese” Escobar has joined General Gordon in Khartoum.

If he’s concerned about BRICs trojan horses then he should be worried about India, not Argentina.

I do hope that Pepe’s criteria for being a BRIC isn’t official policy. One Argentine politician(soon to be leader) who wants fiscal responsibility and his people to have more freedom. That disqualifies Argentina from the BRICs?

Who here would want to live under Lula’s rule in Brasil? or be an Afrikaner farmer in South Africa?

Honest question: what are the BRICs suppose to be about? Not being under America’s thumb? Not being controlled by the Globalists?

    Sincerely, Confused.

Good advice. I’ve been telling young people that if they want a better future then move to Russia. Any sales? Of course not! We’ve had 4-5 generations of Russian demonizing. People can’t overcome that kind of brainwashing. Heck! in Canada the fear is deepest of all because of 1972. They nearly beat us at hockey! Actually they would have, if we hadn’t cheated.

Oh well, can’t complain when we get a front row seat for this live history show. I always wondered what it must have been like to live in the Hittite Empire at the end.

What’s worse than Collective Punishment is what’s taken over western society; “Minority Report” Pre Crime.

Security cameras everywhere because we all might steal…or worse, might not obey orders!!!!

Lockdowns because one of us could be a Typhoid Mary. Vaxx everyone because we all have evil germs. Face masks…etc

The fact the power junkies push all this for more control is no surprise. What’s scary is how many average people support it all. An experimental drug that hadn’t been tested 10 years so couldn’t pass the most basic safety standard, yet 75% run out and get vaxxed!

We are done as a society when people are that willfully ignorant.

Kunstler needs to stick to domestic issues. I wasn’t aware that Palestinians in Gaza and the West Bank were living like the Clever family, with Wally and Beaver only having one fear: girls! Then Big Bad Hamas came along Oct 7th. Give me a break!

The Jews are a brilliant people but they are cancer when they get into politics. They also need to stay away from anything involving Israel. Kunstler is an entertaining writer. He’s usually on the right side of history. But what nonsense he’s writing now.

Plus it’s typically American. China’s to blame for the US being in four wars. The Muslims are to blame for Israel not being able to live in peace. It’s actually very 21st century western thinking: it’s everyone else’s fault but it’s never my fault!

All westerners are incredibly ignorant when it comes to foreign issues(intellectually lazy?). The difference with Americans is that they seem to take pride in that ignorance. Like they are proud of being the only advanced nation without universal health care – proud of being suckers while their money went elsewhere.

Covid gave one a reason to be glad of American Exceptionalism. When fellow intellectuals stab you in the back turn to a Redneck. However Israel has reminded me that Americans can be really ignorant.

Is the strategy of the Resistance Axis to go slow, win a long war? Sounds like Putin’s influence. He loves going slow, never risking really upsetting the lunatics in Washington. If this is the strategy then where’s the oil embargo? If sinking aircraft carriers entails too much risk then why not attack the West economically?

I suppose they have some strategy. Beats me what it is. Given how pro-Western and pro-Israeli Putin is, I’ll remain skeptical.

Personally I think they should call America’s bluff. Israel and America have never been weaker. If Iran can sink a carrier then they should do it now. This fearing how extreme the US reaction could be is simply being held hostage to fear. There will never be peace in the Middle East until the Americans are driven out.

Still it’s easy for me to write that. I’m not living in Iran and won’t need to duck if the reaction is a nuclear attack.

Want to instantly lose credibility with me: talk about the 2024 election. Even if it was free and fair, the choice is between Democrats or Republicans. What’s the difference?

I’d say the difference is that the Democrats are a domestic cancer, while the Republicans are better at sowing international chaos(the Dems aren’t bad at this either).

Being a foreigner, the Dems in power is actually good. It creates the potential or wrecking America. That wreckage will limit/eliminate Washington’s ability to impact foreign affairs.

I hate to wish bad things on a neighbour, however Americans are incredibly insular and willfully ignorant. They have brought this upon themselves.

If it’s any consolation, Europeans and Canadians will pay an equally high price in the fall out. Isn’t it inevitable that generations living beyond their means must eventually face a deflationary collapse?

TBH there’s so much WRONG with western society that blaming Dems/Reps or any political party is simply a cop out. Imagine that, the 21st century westerner behaving so irresponsibly!

Gerald Celente says: a fish rots from the head down. How do you destroy a democracy(an entire society) ? Begin at the top.

First, find a pedophile president. Second, make the dumbest stick in Texas president. Third, a fag who wasn’t even born in America. Fourth a screeching harpie who makes Hansel & Gretel’s witch seem like your kindly grannie(oops! that one didn’t work out). Finally our Weekend At Bernie’s president.

As bad as they can get because that’s the whole point of the exercise. Plus the Bernie president comes in two parts. First term senile. Second term actually dead! But if the media don’t report it…
