Murtha was murdered at Bethesda…same place SecDef Forrestal leaped to his death.
Murtha’s botched lap-chole at Bethsda occurred 4 days after Jack signed personal correspondence to investigate the bishopric double dipping from the Navy and QTC-Lockheed…probably would have uncovered triple dipping at the VA

    Hear! Hear!

Add to that fine summary the case of (spraying defoliant on the power lines in western Pennsylvania) Asplundh’s “Agent Orange”…and 7 men with lymphoma on my parent’s street in a western Pennsylvania town of <500 people.

You can’t give up the fight just because friend or family worked for DoD, Navy Medicine, BYU, UW Medicine, a bank, or the church, Israel’s, Mormon or Catholic to name a few

Did the Mormon BIL fight it? You can tell how much a man or woman fights the Man or the System by how much of a “problem” they’re perceived to be. My closest Mormon friend converted from Catholic and flunked every math class as an undergrad. Yet he still “qualified” for Harvare Business school and later Caterpillar CFO. Take note of Caterpillar’s decline on the heels of his departure, but he was an identity and credit stealer long before that.
Next in line is the Bishopric of the Silverdale stake, drank as much caffeine laden Coke as liquor. And when caught performing disability evals on junior and senior enlisted plus the CO at his moonlighting private practice for $330 a piece his tactic was to label his superior Hannibal Lecter then claim policing his misconduct was tantamount to insubordination.

The Catholics would take several novels to adequately address

    Newa and events move fast.
When Bill Ackman (not Bankman-Fried, non-IDF) said the following:

“Billionaire Bill Ackman has urged the United States government to “guarantee” all deposits held by Silicon Valley Bank (SVB) within the next “48 hours,” or it risks the “destruction” of many financial institutions”

And some other dude said this: “…pledge collateral at par, not at market value, thus giving banks credit for all those hundreds of billions in unrealized net losses, and allowing banks to “unlock liquidity” based on losses which the Fed and TSY now backstop!”

Bill non-Bankman really meant the following because the following really transacted for about $1.21 USD

“HSBC acquired SVB UK for the nominal sum of £1 (equivalent to $1.21 at current exchange rates). The transaction has been completed with immediate effect, and funding will be sourced from HSBC’s existing resources”

Because as all the local economists know a buck 12 really “unlock(s) ((that)) liquidity” especially for those heavily invested IDFers.

Apropos of exactly 40 years passed.

Commandant of the U.S. Marine Corps
General Barrow on Israel and the IDFers

“Letter from Marine Commandant Barrow to Defense Secretary Weinberger

The following is the complete text of a letter from General Robert H. Barrow, Commandant of the U.S. Marine Corps, to Secretary of Defense Caspar Weinberger. General Barrow sent a copy of the letter to the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff.”

    March 14, 1983

    Dear Mr. Secretary:

I must formally register my deep concern over the two unprovoked incidents in Beirut of this past weekend involving Marines of the Multinational Force and members of the Israeli Defense Forces. I had considered commenting on earlier incidents between Marines and the IDF but corrective measures, which were rapidly implemented in February 1983, appeared to defuse the situation. I can no longer remain silent on this continual problem of provocation from the IDF.

In addition to the U.S. MNF incidents, I have received information concerning serious harassing incidents by the IDF of U.S. officers attached to the United Nations Truce Supervisory Organization (UNTSO). These particular incidents involved USMC and USA officers in life-threatening situations, replete with verbal degradation of the officers, their uniform and country. Unfortunately, and of greater concern to me, incidents of this nature are the rule, rather than the exception.

It is evident to me, and the opinion of the U.S. Commanders afloat and ashore, that the incidents between the Marines and the IDF are timed, orchestrated, and executed for obtuse Israeli political purposes. The U.S. has been prompt and forthcoming in defusing previous problems and has established a viable communications procedure between the Marines and IDF. The IDF, however, persist in creating serious incidents.

I am distinctly proud to have Marines participating both as members of the Multinational Force and with UNTSO under the auspices of the United Nations. It is inconceivable to me why Americans -serving in peacekeeping roles-must be harassed, endangered, and degraded by an ally.

Previous demarches and diplomatic initiatives have not eliminated difficulties between our Marines and the IDF. Additionally, the expansion of communications links and the use of Liaison Officers will not preclude additional problems, unless the attitude and actions of the Israelis are altered. It is time for firm and strong action, to demonstrate to the Israelis that a role as a peacekeeper does not presume weakness. If anything, the Israelis should respect our efforts in this region.

    Warm personal regards,

    Sincerely,

    R. H. Barrow

Thanks for reading it. I assume you’re sincere.

Turley is hedging his bet and appealing to the Dems and Repubs who share the purposeful misimpression that January 6th was THE WORST THING EVER. However, my contemporary observation and the newly released video show a buncha unarmed peaceful fat old white people like me milling about (un)smartly and peacefully. Their leader our President Trump never advocated shooting anyone in the head or verbally promoted violence.

The kid Chansley already spent 4 years in jail for nothing. Yet, the pricks who publicly advocated for him to be shot to death remain uncharged, not prosecuted, and not subjected to years of pretrial confinement.

And Judge Lamberth made it all “kosher” with his/her imprimatur because the kid received too much publicity.

    Beware Jonathan Turley.

Where the author positions himself right at the beginning of his essay and, I might add, Turley remains in favor of labeling January 6th as a violent insurrection DESPITE video evidence of Jake Chansley peacefully walking around with Capitol police..
“If there is one image from Jan. 6th that will remain indelible with the day, it is the “QAnon Shaman.” Bare chested and wearing an animal headdress, horns and red-white-and-blue face paint, Jake Angeli Chansley is to the Capitol riot what Rosie the Riveter was to World War II. Howling and “chanting an unintelligible mantra” on the Senate floor, he is the embodiment of the unhinged rage that led to one of the most disgraceful attacks on our constitutional process in history. However..”

Turley an attention seeker can’t stand Jake Chansley receiving far more attention and neither could the judge who punished Jake for the TV stations that continue to broadcast Chansley’s images without compensating him.

If it’s not clear Turley remains pro-January 6th Violent Insurrection labeling DESPITE the newly exposed peaceful video of Shaman Chansley, then consider Turley’s additional remark:

Again where the author positions himself:
“While it is understandable that many would object to Carlson being given an exclusive in the initial release, many in the media are denouncing the release of the footage to the public at all. The press and pundits are now opposing greater transparency in resisting any contradiction of the narrative put forward by the Jan. 6th Committee”

And yet what’s lost in any attorney’s musings on this topic is this: Jake Chansley’s peaceful meanderings about the Capitol and the video of that event was, is, and ever shall be BUT it takes a special kind of human to make it not so and something else entirely….Judge Royce Lamberth.
    Gaslighting

Taking a step back, I think it’s pretty clear the likes of Royce Lamberth, Vic Nuland, Liz Cheney and to a certain extent Jon Turley are infected by the same brain worm or indoctrinated to the identical propaganda brainwashing.

Then there’s the entire Uvalde Police Department that was conditioned to do what exactly… exert their control over the situation, look official, carry firearms, piss their underwear, soil their pants, keep vested parents at bay, and ensure they’re the only witnesses in the aftermath.

I submit that dissociative identity disorder, psychogenic fugue, PTSD, anxiety disorder, sociopathy, psychopathy and PTSD all have age-dependent antecedents.
Placing a child under age 7 in circumstances where they encounter the genuine prospect of impending death has no redeeming value.
Psychopathic indifference and lack of empathy look like “talent” in doctors, nurses, soldiers, SEALs, marines and EMTs.
Most glib public orators possess no capacity for performance under the pressure of bonafide public emergency.
Even the most highly trained experienced athlete like Aaron Rodgers or Josh Allen have a ceiling where they crumble in the moment that Tom Brady seems impervious.

    @Mr. House

    Damn! Spot on.

My only criticism is you left Punjabi overlords and Chinese student invaders from your perfect description of Pittsburgh.

I repost it because it’s brilliant:

“Pittsburgh ain’t a city of FDR Democrats. Its essentially an Obama Democrat city sucking off the tit of higher education and healthcare. Overpaid people who hold themselves as important but really don’t provide anything tangible or useful. Essentially leading the charge in fraud and i think their “premiere” healthcare monopoly played a large part in it which shall not be named. Those people about 70 miles away in Ohio that got slammed, they’re the salt of the earth. Pittsburgh is just a bunch of transplants from liberal areas into PA and then making Pittsburgh uninhabitable price wise for the people who have lived in the area for generations. I won’t weep for them.”.

They transplanted this guy, William Winkerwerder aka The $8.9 million Dollar Man from AssSecDefHelthAffairs to CEO Highmark in Pittsburgh. Winkerwerder is the “Military -Physicians-Are-Okay-To-Torture-Kids-And-Prisoners Promoter from The Bush2 years.

They also transplanted this schmuck Chief Hospital Corpsman Kevin Amick to run, albeit briefly, VA Butler AND subsequently VAPHS, yup, VISN4, VA Pittsburgh. His qualification, affirmative action candidate for under-achieving Navy enlisted and paper pusher for the Lockheed subsidiary QTC that makes coin off the injury/claim/end of war. When I was still active duty, Kevin’s QTC employed one of my subsubordinate commissioned officers and that subordinate performed disability evaluations on at least 3 of my enlisted personnel and the female RN Commanding officer….for ~$330 per eval. Soooooo when the subordinate commission officer was found AWOL from his place of appointed duty and out moonlighting as he was awaiting the Commanding Officer herself for her disability evaluation, even Sy Hersh isn’t required to venture a guess which side these witnesses took when I placed on report CAPT Moonlighter and his sidekick the Chief of the Medical Staff (fellow physician who provided official cover for CAPT Moonlighter).

It probably comes as no surprise that in this perverse system of rewards and punishments that:
    1. A white deplorable from well outside Pittsburgh yet possessing the bonafides Amick could never achieve in two lifetimes was rejected for an entry-level MD job at a VA hospital Kevin later commanded.
    2. The witnesses to the subordinate’s illegal moonlighting disability scheme were fired when their testimony implicated the moonlighter in disability fraud.
    3. The Chief of Staff who ran official cover for the Moonlighter is now employed by the Moonlighter’s former private practice.
    4. The former Commanding Officer female RN left the NAVY with 100% Disability, yeah that’s like O-6 retired pay ~$8,000/mo tax free AND concurrent VA Disability $3,000+/mo AND made executive director of Virginia’s state VA wounded warrior project “equivalent” that paid her $450,000/yr.
    5. And that two weeks after John Murtha initiated an inquiry into these illegal and corrupt practices (afoot in Navy Medicine, QTC, Lockheed, Mormon Church, AssSecDef for Health Affairs, Anthony Principi’s mind), Congressman Murtha was dead from botched surgery at Bethesda NNMC and after Murtha out of fear eschewed the military hospital for George Washington University.

Your business advice, is it sage or sophomoric?

Are all monopolies successful? And for whom?

Written elsewhere today. Go to one of 8 universities and become a centimillionaire: Stanford Harvard Yale Cornell MIT Princeton Penn and Columbia.

My fateful decision was eschewing (who uses that word ever at all in routine speech? Probably John Day and AFKTT I bet) a football scholarship to Penn in favor of the Nation’s financed free-ride to play football at USNA. Find the errors in that run on sentence.
OTOH, Who gives a poor kid with an IQ a 6-figure loan to attend college where they mint centimillionaires?

Indeed, no one knows the U.S military.

The Sterling case is so wonderously illustrative because it contained all the essential elements on display today:
    1. Leonie Brinkema acknowledged she punished a citizen for exercising:
    A. A vigorous self defense
    B. 5th Amendment right against self-incrimination
    C. Exercising his right to a speedy trial and fair hearing
    D. Access to effective counsel by denying his attorney equal access to evidence by deny his attorney a timely security clearance
    E. Ignoring precedent of contemporary cases where the government demonstrated deference for the convicts status (CIA, 4-star)
    F. Evidence the Federal Judiciary unapologetically defers to the rich, powerful and famous

“…but after learning of the sentence of no more than two years’ probation plus a fine given one day earlier to David Petraeus for the misdemeanor of unauthorized removal and retention of classified material, Sterling’s lawyers submitted a plea that Sterling “not receive a different form of justice” than Petraeus, asking for a similarly lenient sentence instead of the 19 to 24 years imprisonment sought by the federal prosecutors.[31] On May 11, 2015, U.S. District Judge Leonie Brinkema sentenced Sterling to 3½ years in prison. Judge Brinkema said there was “no more critical secret” than revealing the identity of a man working with the CIA, and that Sterling deserved a harsher penalty than other recent leakers because he had not pleaded guilty or admitted wrongdoing. The judge said she was moved by his accomplishments but needed to send a message to others: “If you do knowingly reveal these secrets, there’s going to be a price to be paid.”[7

No, not to this not just it’s uncharacteristically narrowly considerate and unimaginative for you:

“The answer is this. Although President Joe Biden, Secretary of State Anthony Blinken and Under Secretary of State for Political Affairs Victoria Nuland would love to throw Sy Hersh into a maximum security prison for the rest of his life, as punishment for revealing their complicity in blowing up the Nord Stream II pipelines – they don’t dare to. If they did, it would be tantamount to admitting that … what Hersh published is true.”

    I see a pattern…

Hersh’s My Lai did nothing to curb the rise of Colin Powell…”cover-upper”. Calley and Medina, well, that’s history too.

    Hersh’s Chain of Command did nothing for one Tom Pappas and little hurt for General Karpinski? and it made the rest of the military choose sides with the murderers and torturers;

segue to Murtha’s vilification and murder at Walter Reed in 2010. The latter solidified the fraudulent sinking of my career.

So, convince me Hersh genuinely pricked anyone in power since once again Seymour has yet to pay the price Murtha, Assange, Kirakou, Ritter, Jeffrey Sterling so?, Watada, Darby, Assange paid

A couple things of which everyone is aware… pedantic? repetitive?

“We already know that the FBI, the DOJ and the intel agencies (AND The Speaker Nancy Pelosi with the Chairman Joint Chiefs Mark Milley) were directly involved in Russiagate (AND J6 both acts were) covert attack(s) on the sitting president of the United States.”

    There….cleaned that up.
    You’re welcome, John Day.

Of course all this was said repeatedly on this blog by this and other posters in contemporary and ongoing fashion(s).

Glad Steve Brown caught up, but why even read it. Does he miss the obvious forest for the trees?
Hersh is An Untouchable, not in that Pittsburgh Punjabi kinda way.

“Why is Assange in Jail and Not Seymour Hersh? (Steve Brown)”

As opined and observed here and elsewhere in slightly modified variations:

“I know Sy Hersh, well, at least better than you.
Watch Hersh’s interview at the end of Wormwood, Netflix I think, and you’ll see him unMasked.
Seymour was wrong in the foundation to his 2004 book Chain of Command and this newly minted 0-6 Navy politely called him out of the slumber over it. The result was Hersh departing the podium and stage to chase my mother across the auditorium…to hump her, I suspect. He delivered verbal praise and a written warning, unusually vague for him, on the autographed first edition of CoC.
Hersh, once again, has been an opportunist, self-promoter and devotee to power. His sustained access to the ruling elite despite “cutting edge” exposé after exposé drives home the point.
He never pays the price, as let’s say, John Murtha at whose eponymous center Seymour lecture that night ~18 years ago.

Watch Hersh’s contemptuous rebuke to Frank Olson’s son at the end of Wormwood. There’s not one scintilla of insight, compassion or generosity in that man.

And perhaps he only once again illustrates how easily Sailors are easily manipulated by the CIA and NCA like those malignancies at Haditha, Abu Ghraib, Bagram and Gitmo.”

Yet, Hersh hasn’t been jailed. And Seymour’s reputation continues to be burnished. Indeed Sy has been spared the very same treatment afforded Watada, England, Grainer, Kirakou, Ritter and Julian Assange.
Hersh is a protected asset and he serves a purpose.

Pay attention to Hersh’s “Chain of Command” and contrast the book’s content to his comments on the topic of torture during publisher’s promotional tour. Hersh made the case in his public comments that not only was torture justified, but that the medical personnel involved in prisoner rape, torture and murder added a patina of respectability to the conduct. That indeed the Geneva Conventions’ prohibitions and The Hippocratic Oath did not bind military medical personnel’s duty to defense of country/homeland. Seymour in doing so was either parroting or quoting the assertions made by Elspeth Ritchie, Rumsfeld, Tornberg, Don Arthur, Winkerwerder.

It’s best to face the fact that Hersh cannot be trusted as anything but a self-promoting monster capable of nothing but contempt for the victims.

Take a moment to watch the epilogue of “Wormwood” and Seymour Hersh’s contempt for Eric Olsonn and a son’s pursuit of answers, justice for his murdered father. That’s full on Machiavellian, self-promoting, sadistic, dismissive psychopath on full display.

Or regard these easily retrieved excerpts penned by equally sympathetic journalists:

From The New Republic: Then in 1975 the Rockefeller Commission Report revealed that Frank had been part of a top-secret CIA program that involved dosing scientists with LSD without their knowledge. Olson gained a bundle of CIA documents stating that his father had exhibited a negative reaction to the LSD, that he’d been brought to New York for psychiatric rehabilitation, and then leaped 13 stories from his hotel window despite his colleagues’ best efforts to recover his sanity. Despite a formal apology from Gerald Ford, Olson couldn’t stop digging. Being in the inner sanctum only made him more suspicious. He felt that the government’s contrition was too showy, a floral bouquet hiding a poisonous spider. He continued to hunt, to ask the needling questions for decades, losing his psychology practice, a woman he loved, and his grasp on reality along the way.”

NYRB: Don’t make this a big deal about journalism,” Hersh says. “About an amazing, sensitive, credible thing. Well, duh. The source is more important than the story, always.”

NYRB: Olson family called the investigative journalist Seymour Hersh, whose reporting on illegal CIA domestic spying had instigated the Rockefeller Commission’s investigations. Hersh walked into their home saying bluntly, “You must be the most goddamned incurious family in the United States. How you could have lived with this bullshit story for twenty-two years is beyond me.”

As if on cue “…despise her.”
Strong word, despise, but nauseating is how I describe the feeling to my mom. Tulsi is hot….like Kamala was, is beguiling.

“She is a Lt. Colonel who served 2 tours of duty in a medical unit in (undeclared) war zones.”
I get it. She commands the respect of an internalized object state, perhaps.

What do those things mean to you? LtCol?
2 tours? War zones? Medical unit?

I see the likes of Jeremy Boorda, Don Arthur, Sy Hersh, Ritter and Michelle Howard. You know, varying degrees of talent, the hint of heavy lifting, opportunists, taking full credit for other’s actions and none of Boorda’s manifest shame. All Jeremy did was undeservedly place a combat “V” on a Navy Comm, hardly Bronze Star level stuff.

However you got me. That migrating white/gray forelock is a really bad sign, even on a Borderline.

For uninformed readers, war zone doesn’t mean ‘combat’ as in ‘days in combat’ something Navy medical units have taken unearned credit.

Medical unit doesn’t mean doctor, nurse or corpsman since she’s MSC.

“…except none of the speakers was nearly as bright as Tulsi. They just didn’t even “know”.”

Count me in John Day. I don’t “know” Gabbard is brighter than other speakers.
When you find an answer to this question, please post a reply.
By what visible/invisible criteria do certain humans assign all their uniformly awful psychological projections onto one person and alternately their favorable projections onto a blank-slate like Tulsi Gabbard?

(As a self-celebrated, self-awarded National Guardsperson, Tulsi is as ‘anti-War’ as they come, almost as anti-CIA, anti-authority as Sy Hersh. Btw, Seymour, no gray forelock required, is STILL not in prison or dead.)

    Did someone say phosgene gas?
Ahhhhhh, the smell of musty hay in fields of, well, musty hay.
You don’t have to be a chemist by training as some on this board declare, physicians with rare education in nuclear biological and chemical exposure medicine or educated in the military’s NBC (it seems they the military lumped ’em all together) warfare wing, USUHS/Ft Dietrick to know never burn “plastics’ or roast marshmallows around the burning exotic composites on modern aircraft

    Then again:
Y’all and Dr. D could talk for hours about Agent Orange, dioxin, Zumwalt’s decision to deploy Agent Orange on one particular victim his son, and the fact that a very special company defoliated most of the powerlines in and around East Palestine and throughout western Pennsylvania each summer for years? decades? during the Vietnam War. AND none of the 7 people on my small street in this smaller town of 400 were included in the Agent Orange settlement let alone did a Stanford or Harvard academic ever draw an association. As Dr. D would express, just where in the f*ck did Asplundh get the f*cking idea to spray defoliant domestically on white deplorable American citizens except from the likes of fellow USNA alumnus Zumwalt and those special religious zealot shits at Stanford, you know, the bail guarantors of Sam Bankman-Fried.

I insist that I AM the clear-cut winner of Dr. D versus John Day Run-On-Sentence-of-the-Month award.

In closing, I present Sam Bankman-Fried’s bail guarantors courtesy Zhedge.

East Palestine getting the Fukushima treatment instead of the COVID attention.

Skyrocketing morbidity and mortality from tick-borne and other ricketsial diseases throughout western Pennsylvania, Ohio, Michigan, New York et al are not getting the attention of COVID hysteria. It’s not just Lyme disease, baby. The same tick will often carry other organisms lthat cause far worse diseases such as anaplasmosis, ehrlichiosis, babesiosis, tularemia, Powassan virus which make Lyme and COVID look like cake walks by comparison.

Syria/Turkey earthquakes getting the Boxing Day Tsunami treatment because Iraq War and Ukraine SMO disrespectively.

Their balloons rate fighter jet attention while our balloons warrant appropriate indifference unless Dr. D is bizzee buzzing China again.

E-7s always lead and order around O-6s, well, because 7 is one more than 6 and my delusion is one of grandiosity to believe or insist otherwise.

    Regarding DNI Clapper:

Clapper is correct… for reasons other than “nuanced”, his word.
Clapper can’t help himself, you know, the omnipresent Con-man and the con-man NEVER gives up the Con-game.

However, Clapper is uncharacteristically off his game.
Notice he blames too many people. That’s sloppy public work.
He denigrates his audience, never an advisable thing when the 50’s intent WAS to fool the audience. Let’s be clear here those 50 and Clapper could not “know” what wasn’t known and that was “Hunter Biden’s laptop NEVER WASN’T Hunter Biden’s laptop”… is now and ever shall be world without end, Amen.

So Clapper leaves us with circular arguments, absurd blameshifting and maddening rationalizations that defy logic.

    @Orobos

You wrote: “Hey, there’s even a film of it for the illiterate”

    Hahahahahahahahahahahaha!

No, sincerely more seriously light-hearted some people learn mysteriously by not ever reading books while those making books and publishing research are busy translating their thoughts, original and likely vitally important, into written form. Then the rest of us are expected to read those books and articles then translate the information for our patients (in medicine) or write it down on a test. Pedantic I know.

Yet a “type” exista that/who doesn’t or can’t learn by reading and yet is forced by society to learn to interpret text. The concept of the autodidact hardly touches on the form but comes close as anything to the description.

Then there’s Tulsi with her migratory white ‘sidelock’ no longer legitimately a forelock. Her choice.
Gabbard must be relieved psychiatry removed ‘migratory white forelock’ from Borderline Personality Disorder diagnostic criteria in transition from DSM-2.6.3 to DSM-4

Diagnostics and Statistics Manual for Mental Disorders or DaSMfMD.

    I can’t resist closely with forme fruste Tulsi as the omnipresent queen of projection or is it projective identification;

Tulsi: 1. ““Her desire to be commander-in-chief that she’s had for a very long time has nothing to do with ensuring the safety and security of the American people”
    2. “It has everything to do with the fact that if there’s a war to be fought, she wants to be the one with her finger on that proverbial trigger”

Gabbard knows Hillary because she looked into the mirror. After all why should men like our nation’s current Curtis Lemay, General Mike Minihan, be the only leaders permitted to openly opine about killing others for “enhanced food tasting and love making” and also be promoted rather than bound, gagged, straightjacketed, and administered electroconvulsive therapy?

    @Alexander Carpenter.

An epistemology of Seymour Hersh, no doubt.

There’s now way for Hersh to prove what he knows and yet ZH posts an article today about secondary information that supposedly “proves” Hersh’s account. Hersh IS like Ritter a liar, albeit more sophisticated (depends on the viewpoint) and they both are being handled as we both suggested.

I know Sy Hersh, well, at least better than you.

And perhaps he only once again illustrates how easily Sailors are easily manipulated by the CIA and NCA like those malignancies at Haditha, Abu Ghraib, Bagram and Gitmo.

Exactly. He’s mean and deliberately wrong,, but still a persuasive writer. There’s some weird pushback going on and Unz’s enlistment in this worse-than-misplaced effort is unsettling.

Come to think of it, Unz”s behavior fits the definition of flying monkey, wingman or authoritarian follower.

Ron Unz.com lost the plot beneath his unsuccessfully hidden contempt for “anti-vaxxers”. It’s interesting Unz et al accuse the anti-vaxxers of the same hysteria and hyperbole that the covidiots like Taleb, Fauci, Birx, Gottlieb employed to promote the non-crisis from its inception. Why wouldn’t they expect folks to fight fire with fire? Is it the psychopath’s total lack of insight?

A crude calculation he chance all 3 men died on the same day, we can all agree these events were independent unless they weren’t, is a product of the individual probabilities.
    So here goes:
    0 00407 the probability a 46yo man dies in a
    particular year, JFK’s age
    0.01657 the probability a 64yo man dies in a
    particular year, CS Lewis age
    0.02522 the probability a 69yo man dies in a
    particular year, Aldous Huxley

1 out of 600,000 chance in the same year, but on the same day requires some factoring of one out of 365 days. The incidence of choroidal metastases from lung cancer is similar.
A quirk of statistics and a statistician will say rare things happen all the time

So the chance those men died on the same day without tipping the scales in death’s favor is less than 1 in 215,000,000… approximately the lottery, Powerball or Megamillions

“…quite unlike the conversations these pages.”

    Very nice!

“…rational thinking unadorned, unhindered by emotional thinking.”

Maybe the problem is emotional thinking adorned and hindered by rational thinking. I submit this assertion reflects comforting words applied to what the practitioner knows is unsympathetic, inhumane behavior or as is typical, the attempt rationalize it as such.

(much like your normal medical doctor is trained to do).  I missed that class in medical school, internship and residency, but the psychopath’s attraction to the medical professions, at least the rarest subtype, serial killers, has been loosely established.

“Not all psychopaths are damaged people criminally active.”

If your expecting psychopaths to present with blood dripping from their fangs, then one surely missed the distinction between mutual beneficence and the moment a person realizes they’ve been seduced to their detriment.

There’s no shame in not seeing it. Few psychiatrists or psychologists possess the “gift of recognition” and society writ large seems to have normalized this personality disorder (Antisocial) as an acceptable if desirable pattern of behavior in business, medicine, law and the military.

Here’s perhaps what Dr. D had in mind when asserting we need psychopaths for their psychopathic traits in and among society’s. special.breed, the generals and surgeons.

Here’s the USAF Gen. Minihan, you know him as the soothsayer foreseeing war with China by 2025 because business class can’t compete.

“In September 2022, Minihan said at a military conference that the Air Force was responsible for the biggest “pile of our nation’s enemy dead” among the branches of the American military and that “[w]hen you can kill your enemy, every part of your life is better. Your food tastes better. Your marriage is stronger.”

That folks IS the very embodiment of Psychopathy. However, I’m certain Minihan means the avariciousness of the Business Class must be accommodated at a cost to everyone else.

The Jessup character from A Few Good Men and its ethos are admired and adopted by many people in uniform. It’s a litmus test isn’t it because the test exposes the psychopath’s propensity to expend someone else’s life and pass that decision off as some bizarre form of personal sacrifice. There can be no better expression of a psychopath’s talent at projection and acquisitive projective identification (taking credit for a 3rd party’s actions) simultaneously.

Yet, the mark of the beast is their complete inability to exhibit anything approaching self-sacrifice.
