    Biden Biden
    You’ve been slidin’
What in the world have you been hidin’?
    Influence peddlin’
    fattened purse-
Oh, my god, it’s much much worse!

Would someone please run that Hunter audio on TV?

If my spouse votes for Biden and I vote for Trump, have I joined the cancel culture?

I still don’t know if I can do it. I think I need to take voting less seriously.

Get out there and keep your immune system up and running.

I’m sorry about the “someone somewhere”. I am now writing from the bottom of a hole I dug for myself. No one is deleting or censoring me- there’s something about the poem that simply isn’t posting here.
    If it had an url in it, I’d understand. ;}
It’s not that great a poem, either- just a note on my feeling very uncomfortable about being a “useless eater” (ie, old, like Henry).

More on topics- why are reports telling us to ease lockdowns, etc, and just the opposite is happening? Why are they still talking vaccines when there are therapies? Is it starting to look to anyone else that the “conspiracies” about WEF agendas are true? That there is a real, viable plan to reset to technofeudalism?
How are we going to fight this when everyone is afraid of getting sick? Did anyone ever say to their CO “Sorry, sir, I’m feeling a bit under the weather. You can all go to battle without me.”

in reply to: Debt Rattle October 24 2020 #64772

I’m not blaming you, Ilargi! I haven’t ever seen this before where a string of words simply won’t post. (except, of course, for a written-out url). And what’s weird is that I can post all this other stuff.

I just tried again- and no luck. This is just plain strange. It was plain text, nothing fancy.
    It posted over at offg.

in reply to: Debt Rattle October 24 2020 #64767

This is fascinating! I can change the format to written out, and it still gets stopped, so it isn’t that a poem format is verboten.
I was listening to W. Webb yesterday and she points out that real problem is the crackdown that’s coming. Operation warp speed marches in with the military mystery no-liability vaccines, and the “vaccines” will themselves track and trace us…at least Trump says it won’t be mandatory. But why believe anything anymore?
Poking through the melting seven inches of snow we had Tuesday are more Biden signs than Trump signs. I don’t like Trump. but I despise Biden. Choices, choices…NOT.
I’m listening to Jorgensen as I type. A few years back (so long ago!!) I would not have thought I would be considering the libertarian candidate, but write-ins have to file ahead of time in my state to be counted. Sorry Dr. D.

in reply to: Debt Rattle October 24 2020 #64763

It’s the poem, alright. It’s totally innocuous, yet someone somewhere thinks some phrase was too….what?
    red dot? surplus?

in reply to: Debt Rattle October 24 2020 #64758

I’ll try the part that is most relevant:
I think I’m gonna write in Dr. D for president.

“Without documents certifying the authorship of the frescoes of the Legend, art historians have decided to compare this series with what is known as Giotto’s top work: his frescoes in the so-called “Arena Chapel,” also known as the Scrovegni Chapel, in which a similar cycle is found. The stylistic differences between the frescoes found in the Scrovegni Chapel in Padua and those one finds in Assisi, specialists affirm, cannot be simply attributed to the evolution of the artist, and it has practically been ruled out that Giotto is the author of the Legend of St. Francis, in Assisi.”
    From this website.

I recall this dispute from way back in college.

This is from Off-G’s article “Klaus Schwab & His Great Fascist Reset”, which is the most disturbing thing I have ever read on the internet.

” Schwab and Malleret admit that Covid-19 is “one of the least deadly pandemics the world has experienced over the last 2000 years”, adding that “the consequences of COVID-19 in terms of health and mortality will be mild compared to previous pandemics”.[4]
    They add:
[Covid19] does not constitute an existential threat, or a shock that will leave its imprint on the world’s population for decades.” [4] ”
But it sure is useful to bring about techno-fascism.

The younger generations are addicted to their phones and will do anything to ensure their tech is safe. “The values of the Millennial and Gen Z generations… not liberation, but security; not freedom, but equality; not individualism, but the safety of the collective; not sink-or-swim meritocracy, but promotion on the basis of social justice… ”
Un-hunh. Hippies turned into yippies and brought us to the hell exposed in the aforementioned Off-G article.

Without a good understanding of psychology, successful fraud would be impossible. There would be no “pandemic”. There wouldn’t be a Supercollider!

    How I wear my mask:
With contempt. On my wrist. Under my chin. Tucked daintily in my top pocket. Over and over and over again. Never in front of a child.
When I need to respect a business that asks me to wear it (politely- it’s not their fault) I pull it out from the bottom so I can breathe.
On a busy day out and about, I see a few dozen of them littering the sidewalks and streets. I think I’ll start collecting them in a clear plastic bag and carry it with me. I can wash the fancy ones and sell them: Recycled Masks- Cheap!

There’s a scene in a Heinlein novel where the protagonists get off the spaceship and have to buy oxygen. “You thought the air was free?” asks one of the other.

I do not wear a mask because I want to protect anyone from anything. I wear one because a fake law says I have to.
I used to think I was a germaphobe.

I’m still not sure I am not trapped in a nightmare.

“I wish I could be more optimistic, and maybe offer some sort of plan of action, but the only historical parallel I can think of is how Christianity “converted” the pagan world … which doesn’t really bode so well for us. While you’re sitting at home during the “second wave” lockdowns, you might want to brush up on that history.” CJ Hopkins, “The Covidian Cult”

A long time back, I spent a couple days reading thousands of comments from people in Pennsylvania, where a law was proposed (enacted?) that made children responsible for the debt of their parents.
Parents do not always love their children, but children instinctively think they do. When kids figure out the truth, there is some bitterness, to say the least. These were some very bitter children. Pennsylvania was going to have a hard time enforcing such a law.
A CON is when someone gets you trust them and ends up leaving you bitter, resentful, humiliated, furious.
When the bill comes for this fake pandemic, there are going to be some bitter, resentful, humiliated, furious people. I hope.

The WHO; the CDC; your devoted public servant: THEY DO NOT LOVE YOU. They do not have your best interests at heart. Stop trusting them.
It is not compassionate to leave oldsters alone in the hands of the deeply caring folks [/s!!!!] at “care” homes. It is not altruistic to maim the psyches of young people. It is not compassionate to put unhappy families in a jar and then shake it. It is not altruistic to trash livelihoods while making the overlords richer.

The numbers have never supported the response.

in reply to: The Early Treatment of Trump #64149

Melatonin- I had forgotten about that stuff until I read about it on the “evolutamente” website back in March. I wonder if Trump is taking it for the reason they cited- which is basically that kids don’t get sick and they have a lot of melatonin compared to oldsters.
Or it could be they just want him to get some sleep…

Two things. First, I was watching some young teenagers downtown and the way they wore their fashionable masks- and pulled them down to talk- made me realize that to them it was a fad, and fads fade. They are going to get sick of all this anti-human insanity.
Second, in some CSPAN clips from the MSM, they used the phrase “therapeutic treatments” as they discussed the not-particularly ailing president. I think this pulls the rug from under the mandatory vaccine position.
So today I am happy. It doesn’t hurt that it’s sunny and 67F.
Trump holds us together? In so many ways… Funny, that.

In my life, I remember “bad” dogs* and their indomitable personalities so much more fondly than “good” dogs and their domestication.
    *Not mean dogs.

The smart phone “rings”- we drool whether or not the sustainence is forthcoming. Like a bad toy it sucks up time with no creativity involved.
I think it was meant to do that. If the imagination, productivity, and creativity of 7 billion people weren’t diverted to thumb-twiddling, things might change.
That would terrify the powers that be.

    Well, more humans, of course.
    But how will we function?
    We’ll feel no remorse.

    Better.

The phrases “global warming” or “global climate change” are misdirective. They narrow the focus to a specific problem (CO2)- called out by a species which is currently cutting down mountains to harvest coal, and using farmland to produce ethanol.
The issue is much bigger than climate. Planetary degradation is a better term. The oceans aren’t just warming- they are dying. The biosphere is crashing, not because of climate changes, but because of poisons and habitat destruction. Soil throughout the world is becoming depleted, salted, and lacking in nutrients.
Not addressing these issues will cut our CO2 emissions right quick, I suspect.

We will burn the last tree.
We will eat the last fish.
We will kill the last insect.
    To get what we wish.

    And what do we wish?
    Well, more humans, of course.
    But what is their purpose?
    To feel no remorse.

In his favor, he DID give me the magic word (riboflavin) to look it up. I really appreciate that.

in reply to: Vitamin D #63899

This may seem off-topic at first…
I was diagnosed with karatoconus, which is an uneven cornea. This means my cataract could not be fixed with the more sophisticated lenses available today. My ophthalmologist directed me to a specialist who could address it with an experimental treatment involving riboflavin (B2) and UV light. Each treatment would cost around $3000. I don’t know how many would be needed, but it is not covered by insurance.
So I looked up riboflavin and keratoconus, and found this:
“A small prospective study including 7 patients with keratoconus was started on a trial of oral riboflavin and 15 minutes of natural sunlight exposure daily. These patients reported no adverse effects and preliminary results showed corneal stabilization and/or corneal flattening in all 7 patients It is hypothesized that dietary riboflavin and natural sunlight is as effective in corneal crosslinking as the currently FDA approved Avedro therapy.
“…the investigator started 7 patients with keratoconus from 2011-2015 in his private practice in Seattle on a trial of oral riboflavin (100 mg or 400 mg daily) and 15 minutes of sunlight exposure daily. No adverse effects have ever been reported with high-dose dietary riboflavin supplements. The results of this preliminary trial are remarkable. During follow-up from 6 months to 5 years, all 7 patients have had corneal stabilization and/or corneal flattening. One patient experienced flattening of the cornea by 1.5 Diopters, comparable to the best results of the Avedro system.”
From “Dietary Riboflavin (Vitamin B-2) and Cornea Cross-Linking” on clinicaltrialsdotgov.

Did the doctor not know? It seems to me the state of the health industry is out for the cash, period.
I wish I had known before winter was upon us, but now I really look forward to summer when I can do my own experiment.
Vitamins are cheap and often effective for so many things. I can see why the medical establishment doesn’t just not push D, but actually denigrates recommendations for it.

Two ditties for your enjoyment (or to ignore. 🙂

    Any old illness will do-
The Virus, a cold, or the flu-
We’re just where they want us.
    Their tactics will daunt us:
And then they’ll create something new.

When you’re on the losing side just double down
When there’s nowhere else to hide just double down
    When you storyline is weak
    Find another lie to leak.
Never waver, don’t be meek- just double down.

in reply to: Late Night Biden #63832

The other night I met up with some family members. For the most part I bit my tongue and kept quiet, but when my niece (who did part-time stand-up) commented how much she and her peers missed having an audience, I asked if giving up comedy was worth it.
“If it saves lives, it’s absolutely worth it! Duh! Only a psychopath would think it wasn’t!”

    Alas.

By Barbara Walther and Magali Chollet

Links work elsewhere- just not here. Go figure, and my apologies.

in reply to: Debt Rattle September 27 2020 #63786

Vitamin K2. Vitamin D wants it for bone and cardiovascular health..
“Vitamin K2 is a collection of isoprenologues that mostly originate from bacterial synthesis, also called menaquinones…”
“K2 is mainly present in fermented food such as cheese and natto (fermented soybeans), but gut microbiota are also able to synthesize vitamin K2 ”

I just learned this yesterday. To get enough K2 from red wine, you’d have to drink 750ml.
    Yea!

Botticelli drew me into Italian Renaissance painting (art) when I was a young teen, but he didn’t hold my interest- too curly and sort of cartoonish. I thank him for the invitation, however, and for introducing me to so many others of that stunning era.
[Suggestion: Piero della Francesca’s “Maria Magdalena”- what a face!]
I watched Woodward’s segment on CSPAN the other day (S 24th). That guy gives me the creeps.
Julian Assange interviews, on the other hand, make me wish I knew the guy.

Guess what? We will. If we let them.
We have skinned death and now we are afraid of the pelt.

in reply to: Debt Rattle September 23 2020 #63615

    It’s over.
But countries where deaths have flatlined are considering (or implementing) further lockdowns.
    There’s something else going on.
They have revealed themselves- the WEF openly lobbies [$$$] the WHO, and the leaders of countries with sufficiently authoritarian structures are in lockstep. The people are being tested, conditioned.
We are all biohazards and we must be tracked. People have become data; data feeds the machines. How does it feel being so manipulated?

The compassion felt for the ones who have died is useless. Aim it at those who can benefit from it: the children locked in unhappy homes; the isolated oldsters who are neglected to death for their own protection; the families facing homelessness and dissolution, the billions who are subjected to dehumanization.
All government interference in this virus must end.
    It’s over.

There we would all be be, having a delightful party*, with clusters of folks having lively discussions that frequently jumped from cluster to cluster; some ducking out in pairs; some amusing themselves with less sociable diversions; and suddenly some jerk would jump up and announce “LET’S play charades!”

All my life, I have dreaded hearing the word “let’s” more than almost any other word in the English language.

*Of course, there are no parties anymore.

in reply to: Why Trump Will Win #63543

    The incumbent has an edge.
Oh, and the press (CNN!) wants Trump to win, because hate is as profitable as strife and anxiety.
The only democrats who want Biden to win are the rank and file, but they are worth less than nothing- especially to the democratic leadership.

in reply to: Debt Rattle September 19 2020 #63435

    “Calm, accurate…” Yes.
Cohen let me imagine a world where the US and Russia were no longer enemies. Embattled Europe could breath a sigh of relief and trade with east and west. NATO would fade into nothing. China would want to join the club.
I used to think such things mattered.
More important people didn’t want that world.
I hope I die before the world I cannot tolerate materializes. It is the blessing and the curse of growing old.

“Assange never would or could identify a source. Apart from other considerations, it would be the end of WikiLeaks.”
But what if they pretended he did? What if they already know what he could reveal, and they reveal it, and say he had revealed it to them? They would ruin him and Wikileaks. And we would be left to just study what they did.
Dr. D keeps telling us they lie. I say stop trusting those liars and realize that what they are willing to do can sink as deep as the fall they are facing if they are found out.

    Timing is everything.
