    Daddy was a borderline.
    Mommy called it love.
All the little children fit their parents like a glove.
    Mommy was a narcissist.
    Daddy didn’t care.
All the little children seem to vanish into air.

There is no better way to undermine a fairly smoothly running system than by saying there are traitors amongst you. At least, that’s what I learned on Star Trek.

Screw DEI. Instead, give me HAI.

But how tall is the cat? How tall is the tortoise?
    Yup.
This is why I always hated story problems.

    Hey, Trivium!

Come to Canada when you’re blue-
We’ve got stuff for you to do.
Your bucket’s ready, come and kick it!
You’ll only need a one way ticket!

    Much better!

Your mental health will be politically assessed.
The treatment will be determined by your kidney match to some billionaire
I don’t know who runs Canada’s organ program, but Israel/Ukraine might be unhappy that some other country is muscling in on their territory.
“There’s a 24-fold rise in organ transplants from drug overdose donors” | CNN
    And that was in 2018.

I have not yet found a dark mood that cannot be cured by chickadees.

If I ever find myself on a cruise ship I will think I’ve died and gone to hell.

    What news of Julian Assange…?

in reply to: Debt Rattle DayX 2024 #153199

I was snarking along, wondering why a cruise ship line hasn’t come along with a Star Trek theme….
So I looked up if Disney has anything to do with Star Trek (for Disney gets its paws on everything, it seems), and sure enough- Mousetrap News (dec 23) reports that Disney is going to do a crossover of Star Trek and Star Wars, where Kirk and Han Solo…. and Spock and Yoda…..
    I couldn’t go any further.
    But here’s the site.

I own dvds of ST, TNG, and most of the movies. Nuff said.
    Just, no.

Sorry to be so insanely off topic.

Way out in weird space for the old-fashioned yucks of the innocent internet of olden days: “Cows With Guns”. (From “the answer is 42” commenter on ZH).
I would love to post it to mesmerizingly batshit crazy vegan Radagast, but I won’t take his stupid pledge. If anyone here posts there, I bet he’d like it.
    Internet nostalgia.
    Kikoman’s
    Narwhals
    And now, cows with guns.

Indeed I am, WES, thank-you. I hope the same for you.
We have had a cold snap these last few days and got 6 inches of snow. The trees had started to bud in the extended warm spell- I sure hope our cherry trees will not be discouraged from blossoming!

The stars above can tell the time
    In steadfastness: they are sublime.
The rhythmic cycles of the seas-
    They beckon us- they chant and tease;
And smoke arises from the flame
    As tribal stories will proclaim
    That humans love complexity
    With hidden, ordered majesty.

    Without these things we perish.
We must save what we cherish.

They’re powerless with their blow-up tanks
And cardboard mannequins in their ranks.
    Authoritative numbers fudged;
    The biggest demographic nudged
    To think it’s a minority-
But look around you. You can see
    How vast is the majority.

There was no pandemic, The virus wasn’t the trick. The intervention was.

Squirrels, squirrels, everywhere and no time left to think-
And every squirrel I chase will keep me heading for the brink.

If anyone cared about the aria from La Wally I posted yesterday in honor of Wilhelmenia Wiggins Fernandez who recently died, here’s a MUCH better recording of it.
    Yesterday’s stunk.

    Hush hush, you’re ruffled.
It’s good that you can laugh.
    Don’t feed: they’re muffled-
    We’ll cheer on your behalf.

I have liked nearly every Jewish person I’ve ever met- some, very, very much.
And Israel was and is a rotten idea that just keeps getting worse.

in reply to: Debt Rattle February 16 2024 #152922

Ilargi- Wilhelmenia Wiggins Fernandez died. She sang the aria from “La Wally” in the movie “Diva”.
If you haven’t heard it, give it a listen.
    Outstanding!

I believe in God the Father of heretics and apostates. If I die and see God I shall love Him. If He can still damn me, well, I don’t believe in Hell, but I will have seen God.
There are no hells after death that can compare to the ones we mete out to ourselves on earth.

Most of the world does not believe the Bible is a legal deed.
Zionist US Christians are acting like the Sheriff of God, enforcing the claim of the Jews. Warmongers and profiteers everywhere drool.
If it doesn’t end now, this will not go well for the US Zionist Christians, or any Zionist Christians, or Jews anywhere in the world.

I had to go back to yesterday’s parrot video. And I’ll probably watch it again after I post.

Biden’s background flags are not trimmed in gold. Trump’s flags still are. Also, Biden’s flags are cheap printed ones, not embroidered and sewn.

I read the word philanthropath on ZH “comments” quite a while back. I kind of like the other version of the portmanteau: psycho-pissed.

Must have been using BlahkChān(TM) Translation along with NTent(TM) AI. That Oz presentation of Putin on Nordstream was spot on. 😉
(btw, my apologies if I have stolen the real name of a some real company…How many made up mangled words can be used to name companies? -or drugs….?)

    Back to the parrot.

Putin says he doesn’t have access to the people who are running the show.
Putin says he would like an amicable, prosperous future.
Putin says we can smooth things over if the west acted acted in good faith.

in reply to: Debt Rattle February 8 2024 #152217

But who shall we talk to?
    We could all be friends!
    Just act in good faith-
    We could all make amends.

The next step is to defund DHS. Pay Mayorkas a penny and see if he wants to keep the job.

Heartland report- Don’t think those a-holes wouldn’t claim Trump DID win, and now can’t seek a third term.
And LOOK what a mess he made of the border in his second term! /s

    Status quo

When y’all do what you’re told to do,
    There’s harmony and enjoyment.
So just shut up and know your place
    And you’ll keep your employment.

In early November the whole earth will tremble-
The cracks will reveal what’s below.
    The columns start sprouting;
    The waters rerouting;
Let’s hope we go on with the show.

    No!!!!!

WES- No one around here has been talking about the maple trees, but the buds are popping and we’ve had 20s at night and 40s in the day. (F)
It doesn’t look good for the cherry trees if this keeps up.
The chickadees are collecting cobwebs. I try to explain that it’s only January, but they don’t listen.

See the small child and mom both enrapt with a phone-
(For the quieted child is a gift from above).
That parent and child- though together- alone.
Just a modern day scene of some sad, wasted love.

Woke girls: But you can see how much happier they are, right? /s
    What’s with those nose rings?
I knew a woman who was 70% covered in tattoos. She inked for a living, and dropped dead of an aneurysm in 2017 at the age of 31.
Whenever I saw her I got the song “Lydia” stuck in my head.
She was one of the sweetest gals I ever knew.

“Pathogen Access Benefit Sharing System” (WHO “treaty”)
Every nation gets some lab ebola! Every nation gets some lab smallpox!
Every nation gets a Pharma industry branch to fiddle with ‘em and make citizens take “vaccines”.
James Roguski talks about the WHO.

He emphasizes that the “pandemic treaty” is a trade agreement that lets every nation have a shot at working on bio weaponry. A bright future will be had by all.

O, patient, dear, my client whom I love!
I’ve looked you over, head to foot to glove.
I found your health to be in happy state
You’re eating well, and keep watch on your weight.

That little chat we had has made it clear
    Your mental health is fine. You’re of good cheer;
Your grip is fine; you stand up straight and tall-
(If something should come up- just give a call.)
    .

And so I won’t be writing you a scrip-
I hope you have enjoyed this office trip.
I’ll see you in a year or maybe more-
Take care; sleep well, and don’t make health a chore.

With that, dear client, this exam is done.
Be on your way- and have yourself some fun.

Perhaps I should have mentioned- IT IS AN ERROR.
That “calculator”, btw, told me if I invested $10,000 for 30 years at 5% yearly, I would now have $188,239,504,989.84

Jeff Sommer writes in the business section of the NYT today (paper edition):
“Imagine if you had been wise enough to put $1,000 into the index fund [S&P] on its first day in 1976 and to have been patient enough to have let your pot of money grow through November [of this year]. Your $1,000 would have increased by $16,145,400. That’s not an error.”
I have found the calculator he must have used! Type in fun numbers and see how rich you are!
(There appears to be a problem in the “additional contribution” section. Leave it at 0.00 and keep it at monthly. Is this the calculator .gov uses?)

    Life is built on food.
Find it; grow it; make it good.
Teach it; share it; make some friends:
Food is where life starts and ends.
