Re: Sunbeam automobiles, I wrote ‘Alpine’, but meant ‘Tiger’. The Alpine models I remember had inline four-cylinders engines, though maybe there was another, later six-cylinder model.

Inline sixes were always my favorite engines; smooth by nature, and torquey.

Recently I’ve had recurring, vivid dreams of owning a V-8 powered, small English roadster. You’d have a hard time stuffing a V-8 into an MG Midget, which is the only car in that category
I know anything about (Lucas electrics included; I basically rewired the whole damned thing in my ’67.). Then I was reading about the old ‘Get Smart’ series with Don Adams, Barbara (ooh, la-la!) Feldon, and Edward Platt; and realized that it was a Sunbeam Alpine I’ve been pining for- or something. No more cars for me, TYVM, but the idea is nice. I’d much rather have Barbara Feldon..

..The Opaque nature of this medium-as-instituted is one of its very creepiest aspects, I think. It’s a one way-window, and the hoi polloi, curiously, don’t get to see.

Why should a medium of communication have private owners? That’s not innate, not at all.. yet this Digital one surely does. Isn’t that a bit strange? So many oddities have been ‘normalized’ since the Digital Age bagan..

Don’t try listening unless you can give it all of your self. There might be a better recorded performance of this timeless piece, but this one is very, very good.

‘Bring Me Your Love’ by Bukowski and R Crumb is on its way to my temporal residence. Great cover!, which I hope
is indicative of its overall contents.

so many Explainers.. which are themselves a sign of pervasive Perception Management. Odd that with such deep insights they don’t also point to any (collective) actions to be taken, for the common good..

Pushing voters into the ‘Republican’ half of the duopoly will be of no benefit to the great majority of the citizenry I think,
other than as a temporary feelgood measure. It’s just that I’m impressed by our rulers’ foresight in making the citizenry
detest the nominally people’s party. As WJC said, back when: “where they gonna go?”

Perception Management (from so many sources)- it seems to me- is easily carrying the day.
We’ll see over a little bit of time.

It was very clever for our tiny, corrupt ruling class to use the ‘Democratic’ party to implement their dark plans on the rest of us. I’m curious just how much mayhem they’ll be able to inflict, especially starting with today’s “election”. That speech Mister Biden gave in Philadelphia was well-planned in its elements, I think.

My thinking that the “War in The Ukraine” is a useful cover for other actions; possibly supra-national ones.
We’ll see how it goes over a bit of time.

Meryl Nass’s interview of John Day was good. It’s nice to see and hear fellow humans. The points Nass
made about EMRs were well taken.. one of the last times I saw a Doc in a clinical setting, she was so
obviously harried by doing that work that she was barely aware of the patient, it seemed to me. She was a good
person, and I think she left that clinic after only a short time.

Nice work on the house.. must be a good feeling.

zerosum said: “controllers are losing control and panicking.”

I appreciate your comments, zerosum, but I don’t really agree with that notion; I think events are pretty
much running according to ruling-class plan, though possibly a little more slowly than they hoped.
They have some time, and they have, importantly, a fairly well organized long-term plan.

I went fairly deeply down the rabbit hole trying to find solid info on Ms Gabbard’s background, and it seems most
everything that might be presentable as solid evidence is .. no longer there (no, I’m not kidding, and this is one of the, um, shortcomings of an easily-changeable medium; imagine the possibilities.).

If any others find something solid, please post it so we can all be the wiser.

It’s interesting that “dissent” against the COVID Narrative- and its successor , ruling-class Narratives- consists
almost entirely of Posting Stuff on the Internet (on those rulers’ very own playing field, perhaps not coincidentally).

It’s super-odd that there is no *organized* effort against those Narratives and forces, though there are plenty, plenty of Explainers.

    ’tis strange.

Which “truth”? The sun was shining today; I trust that. A couple of doves looked down at me from the powerline this morning as I headed down to the bay, and made their delectable sounds; I trust them, too.

Who or what shall one trust?

Here’s what I uncritically trust on the utterly opaque Internet:

    V. Arnod said: “I didn’t need royalty; just respect and credit for a job well done…simple really but beyond employer’s grasp…”

You comment sounds like my late friend’s, who said: “.. I love my work, hate the job..” .

Mike spent his last dozen or so years doing sheet metal fabrication, though he was really
a Bike Guy (superb framebuilder, and a pretty good wheelsmith). When his work was outsourced to Mexico around 2012, he had a tough time coming back. You are missed, Mojo.

AFKTT’s prolific comments remind me of Henry Giroux’s and Chris Hedges’s: all make one want to jump off a bridge, rather that inspiring other humans to take action to create a better world.

“it’s hopeless” seems to be the long-winded message from all three.. curious.

I sure do like my little garden, and the birds. The doves have a seemingly detached but life-filled approach
    the I try to emulate.

    That same entity claims that Ms. Tulsi Gabbard merely “visited with” the good people at the World Economic Forum;
I think he’s mistaken. Ms Gabbard is a graduate of the WEF Young Global Leaders™ program, and also a member
of the Council on Foreign Relations.

    Corrections are welcome.

I for one am impressed- and grateful- that there are so many online experts willing to share their very prolific and no doubt accurate thoughts on What’s Really Happening Now. This site seems to be quite a hub for those various activites.

It’s remarkable to me how much attention the alleged “hammer attack™” in the Bay Area is getting.
Real or fake, is it one of today’s more important issues?
