The World Economic Forum has a new proposal (archive): engineered crops whose roots DO NOT ROT when the plants die, and “capture carbon”.
Non-engineered grass already does that doesn’t it? It grows in places where crops will not. And Ruminants can eat it and nourish it at the same time.
Not related to anything here today, but I think this is a great article. If, like me, you’ve spent much of your life thinking of yourself as ‘left wing’ but now feel hated by the modern left, Paul Kingsnorth has captured here just what has been happening over the last few years (since 2008?) and why nothing makes sense any more.

Equally terrifying – Draghi’s Italy will suspend workers without pay unless they get a jab. How can governments do this?

This is terrifying. As is the situation in Slovenia and Lithuania. And probably everywhere soon (domino effect).

It’s getting to the point where I wonder if they introduced crappy, leaky vaccines just so they could make the actual numbers of yearly deaths finally match the those predicted by the Imperial College modellers. Then they can point out that they were right all along.
