“we used to call them “Rednecks”.

some of the symbols have changed a bit.

there was a graphic novel style cartoon linked here a few months ago that talked about a subspecies of this bunch…with the black and white american flags, and Punisher logos.
most memorable part, for me: the armed up and tatted moron/would be badass saying “see, Ma, i ain’t gay…”
I’d like the link if anyone remembers, because i’ve referenced it several times with wife, when we’ve been discussing toxic masculinity and other common social ills in our part of the world.(there’s a lot of flags on pickup trucks and jeeps of late”Oh, look, honey…a parade…”)”

When you say things like this or make generalizations about white people, you are applauded. If you say that about any other ethnicity you will be burned at the stake or have large rocks piled on you.

To do better then that Raul, i would actually have to have had first hand exp. with it. I haven’t had that yet, and no one i know personally has either. So i then have to go to the media, since they seem to be the only people i know who have had exp with it. Based on what i’ve read and seen them say here is what i know:

    1. Its Trumps fault
    2. People that put the most at risk population group at risk, will not be punished
    3. Young people generally exp. it as the flu or don’t know they have it at all.
    4. If Joe Biden is elected we can resume college football and high school football (his youtube ads have gone into overdrive since september started)
    5. Believe science*except when they said cigs didn’t harm people, or don’t report on wacky vaccine schemes Bill Gates has done in Africa.
    6. Republicans are enemies of the state
    7. If you hype up a pandemic in the media, no one will question you looting the treasury to the tune of 3.3 trillion dollars to distribute to yourself and your friends.

This is all anyone needs to know about our situation:

“A CREDIBILITY TRAP IS WHEN THE MANAGERIAL FUNCTIONS OF A SOCIETY HAVE BEEN SUFFICIENTLY COMPROMISED BY CORRUPTION SO THAT THE LEADERSHIP AND THE PROFESSIONAL CLASS CANNOT REFORM, OR EVEN HONESTLY ADMIT AND ADDRESS, THE PROBLEMS OF THE CORRUPTED SYSTEM WITHOUT IMPLICATING A BROAD SWATH OF A POWERFUL ELITE, INCLUDING THEMSELVES.

THE MONEYED INTERESTS AND THEIR ENABLERS TOLERATE THE CORRUPTION BECAUSE THEY HAVE PROFITED FROM IT, AND WOULD LIKE TO CONTINUE TO DO SO. DISCIPLINE AND SILENCE IS MAINTAINED BY VARIOUS FORMS OF SOFT FINANCIAL REWARDS AND CAREER AND SOCIAL COERCION.”

“The domestic framework for imposing martial law in the U.S., via “continuity of government” protocols, was activated earlier this year under the guise of the coronavirus crisis and it remains in effect. Now, a series of groups deeply tied to the Washington establishment and domestic and foreign intelligence agencies have predicted the exact ways in which to engineer a failed election and manipulate its aftermath.

Who would stand to benefit the most from the imposition of martial law in the United States? I would argue that one need look no further than the battle within Washington power factions over the future of AI, which has been deemed of critical importance to national security by the public sector, the private sector and prominent think tanks. The Schmidt-led NSCAI and other bodies determining the country’s AI policy plan to implement a series of policies that will be deeply resisted by most Americans – from the elimination of individual car ownership to the elimination of cash as well as the imposition of an Orwellian surveillance system, among other things.

All of these agendas have advanced under the guise of combatting coronavirus, but their advance can only continue to use that justification for so long. For groups like the NSCAI, Americans must welcome these AI-driven advances or else, even if it means Americans face losing their jobs or their civil liberties. Otherwise, these groups and their billionaire backers argue, the U.S. will be “left out” and “left behind” when it comes time to set the new global standards for AI technology, as the U.S. will then be left in the dust by China’s growing AI industry, which is fed by its own implementation of these technologies.

By keeping Americans angry and distracted by the partisan divide through pre-planned election chaos, a “New America” waits in the wings – one that is coming regardless of what happens on election day. That is, of course, unless Americans quickly wake up to the ruse.”

“My read is that “authorities” are seeing how much “order” they can impose in a pandemic scenario, when they have enough information to know that it is 10X milder than what they portray. There is a power struggle underway among our owners, and they want us to stay in the chutes, while they shoot it out.”

Thats not the simplest but i agree that is part of whats going on currently. I still think it was an excuse to bailout themselves again. Another excuse to keep rates at zero for another decade. Then again most people have no idea what interest rates are except for their credit card. I think the world could be coming up with a new monetary system while we all shelter in place.

“The novel-coronavirus seems to have been established in the US and in Europe before it was discovered in Wuhan last December.
It could well have come from Wuhan, or as well from Ft Detrick, Maryland, or other national bioweapons labs.
The patterns are tht 90% of infections are not represented by test results, meaning they are mildly symptomatic or asymptomatic, and we know that those predominate in younger people without comorbidities like diabetes, hypertension and obesity.”

So what is the simplest explanation for the “authorities” response then?

You don’t find it odd that exactly around the beginning of COVID the Davos crowd starts talking about a great reset? Out of the blue, and all the ads we here now about how covid is reshaping our society. Everything is going to be blamed on COVID. The system was not viable before covid, but none of the people who brought us to where we are will be held accountable. Who coulda seen COVID coming?

Heck i think the democrats reaction since the 2016 election just further illustrates my point. If they were adults and honest and worried about something other then power, they would have said “we get the message, you didn’t want Hillary so bad you elected trump. We will get back to our roots and try and help the working man again. We will change.” Instead all we got was Russia, Russia, Russia. You say that was obliviously fake, but i think the virus is the same thing. Watch this hand, not this one.

I believe the virus is “not letting a crisis go to waste” and being used for cover. From 2008 to 2019 feds balance sheet went from .9 billion to 4+ trillion. From march of this year thru june it went up to 7 trillion. How many people are even talking about financial problems currently? And if they are brought up, guess who is to blame? How convenient………………………..

To say that 2008 has nothing to do with our current situation is like saying the outcome of WW1 didn’t lead to WW2.

I don’t underestimate incompetence, it was the reason for 2008. That and fraud. I understand that incompetence and a child like mentality, leads to endless lies. And like a child caught with his hand in the cookie jar, those who run our corporations and government will never admit they’re wrong. Because then they might not be allowed to run things anymore. Until the people running things changes, things will get worse by small increments everyear. My entire life ( i’m 36) in the workforce has been a depression, with a lack of meaningful work. I was 24 in 2008, when my eyes were opened. I want those 12 years of lies back Ilargi.

What was fixed from 2008? The solution it appears, was to add more debt onto an unsustainable amount of debt. People in the lower classes were wiped out, the rich were made whole. The system was shown to be unworkable in 2008, it was bound to blow up again. Is that not why i’ve been reading your site for the past 12 years? Looking for hints as to when it would blow up again. Everytime it attempted to correct itself in the past ten years, more money was printed. Heck we didn’t raise interest rates .25 until 2015 or so, and then all rates were put on hold for another year. They managed to raise rates for two years before things started to blow up again. The money system is, sadly, the only thing worth paying attention to because it runs everything. How can i prove this? Are you saying 2008 has nothing to do with whats going on right now? You can go back even further Ilargi if you please, ok since 2001. Since the end of the dot.com bubble when fiat credit was shown to be bankrupt. Are you telling me that those bailouts this past spring had nothing to do with 2008?

“While none of them are implementing rapid tests, HCQ/zinc and Vitamin D. Start that now in any country and they would cut cases in half and deaths by 80-90%.”

Perhaps because they want more bad numbers as we get closer to the election. Regardless, what we’ve been told from the getgo has been a mess. The fact that they’ll make this political tells me its not as bad as we are told it is.

“Everyone’s just trying to avoid the blame, more than trying to solve the problem.”

That has been the case since 2008, hence the bailouts. Now do you truly think they would have accepted the blame for the system blowing up again this past spring due to them not fixing it in 2008? Easy to blame a virus, can’t argue back.
