Are VW so far out of touch that they can’t see the trust that has been broken globally??
And new findings today that say diesel cars are 4 times more toxic than a bus !!!I well remember the firm pulling out of the Australian market in the late 70’s – and recently having the gall to say in their ads “been in Aust for 60 years!”
Looks like their fast & loose days are over. Perhaps we need more of an Icelandic approach to poor behaviour in ALL industries :))

Regarding the refugee crisis……
Brussels is the new Nero, fiddling while Rome/Athens/et al burn.
All member states need to send refugees DIRECTLY on paid buses & trains to Brussels.
Maybe house some of them in that fancy new building :))

Seems to me we are facing new definitions of just about everything. To try to reinstate the middle class back to what it was is a waste of time and effort. Times have changed.
Perhaps we need to redefine what is “success” To PCR it allows upward mobility – well, there are other ways. Such as co-operative, rather than individual.
We have an incredible opportunity here to reshape our lives, our values and therefore our JOINT futures. After all, we are all in this together, despite what the “Elites” put forth.
Oh, and there’s another term to change….. they are not Elites.
Quite the reverse. They are very naughty and don’t play nicely with the other children.About time that we look to a wonderful future on the other side of all the pain and nonsense.

Well – here’s another interesting little area where the dominoes can start to topple…..
As you may be aware, there are MASSIVE short positions currently on gold and silver.
According to ZH “It has been the speculative selling of the equivalents of 10 million oz of gold and more than 250 million oz of silver (all arranged by the COMEX “commercials”) that has caused prices to drop. And it will be the unwinding of speculative short sales and new long positioning which will drive prices higher.” Yes – but what would happen if external factors came into play?
So, here we have more nosedives on the Chinese stocks (with more to come) which may well panic investors into safe havens such as precious metals.
Therefore the big players could be caught with their cummerbunds down – big time.
Interesting if they get enmeshed in their own manipulations…..rather poetic, don’t you think??Re: Greece…..
What I would love to see, is abject Syriza faces while getting some vital liquidity back into the system, then ultra-quietly start printing Drachmas (perhaps somewhere deep in China or Russia), then give the Troika/Germany the big finger, then leave and default.
BANG.
(That’s the Greek door slamming on the way out).There is an extraordinary opportunity here now for Europe – if the other member Nations were to stand with the underdog…..Greece.
Because if they don’t unite to nip German arrogance in the bud…..then what happens when it’s someone else’s turn? More back-turning?
A clear message needs to be sent…..NOW !!!

When Syriza came to govern, many put their trust in a few, clear men.

I am not privy to all that is happening. I can only be boggled at what Tsipras et al are having to contend with.…..and heaven forbid that the creditors are still showing solidarity while going into the black hole…..together.
But then again….. it’s all Greek to me. :))
How do we get as many holiday makers to Greece as possible – all loaded with cash?
A self-help, grass roots stimulus injection into the economy.

To answer the question….. no, telling Lies is never a Democratic right – nor any other form of “right”.
That comes from those who feel that the end justifies the means – and it never does.
It is the Journey (and how well you travel it) that is important – not the destination.As to going to Greece….wow!
Felt like doing the same a few days ago, as I am over the Moon about where the Greeks will find themselves soon – with a far stronger sense of Self, and community – and knowing that they did what was right for them.
Brilliant. And thank you for having the courage and strength to show the way…..Just goes to show how out-of-touch THEY all are…..on so many levels.
