Well, that should just calm everyone right down. Message from head of the Derp State.

Thanks for that, because it lead me to the archive today link.
ctbarnumParticipantRaul,
Thank you for posting the thread. I was going to use it on FB, but when I clicked the link the thread was gone. It’s a good thing we have your excerpts because with media the first casualty is truth.
ctbarnumParticipantUS Biolabs: Thread was deleted by Twitter. How convenient.
ctbarnumParticipant” Although aggregate groups may have attributes, like “Americans” or “Women”, you cannot reverse from any demographic aggregate to the individual at all. At all.”
ctbarnumParticipantFor those asking about 2/22/22, I found this. I was going to comment on JMG’s site to see what he thought about it given my limited knowledge of numerology, but the tweets explain some coincidences fairly well. My guess, we’re going into the darkness before the dawn with a possible neoliberalism’s fall. One can hope, no?
On 2/22/22 will be a once-in-a 248 year event.
Pluto is going to conjunct (return to) the United States.
The Last time this happened was on July 4th 1776, the exact founding day of America.
Astrologically, Pluto brings Destruction and Rebirth.

ctbarnumParticipantctbarnumParticipantctbarnumParticipantTrucker Protest and Jordan Peterson: I watched the Youtube where he spoke to the truckers and at first it sounded sensible. Don’t push too hard, take your wins, of course some will stay behind. For example, Turdeau resignation-vote of non-confidence will likely not happen and was an addition to the original goal. However, while some provinces have relaxed measures, the one demand that sparked the whole protest has NOT been met and can only be met at the federal level (if I’m wrong, mae culpa and welcome the correction), the cross-border vaccination and quarantine rules.
For Peterson to just shrug that off seems illogical and suggests indifference, i.e. merely a political statement to gain suckers.
I look at the pullbacks as a temporary setback and hope it might be just a tactical retreat to regroup and amass later somewhere else. But wish in one hand shit in the other applies as well, I suppose.
ctbarnumParticipant“At my age, I must include faith in further reoccurrence of erectile function: ya gotta believe.”
Ditto, except a pill helps. For now.
ctbarnumParticipantWhy would anyone have faith in humans anyway? Just believe them without evidence to back their assertions? Usually some get out of this stage when mom says there’s no Santa Claus of Easter Bunny, but some never do. They just replace Santa/EB with their favorite celebrity doctor/scientist/clergy/teacher/politician/ entertainer/sports figure.
Me? Those aforementioned can either show me the evidence or shut up. Faith is usually reserved for entities we can’t “prove” exists, thus, reserved for your God or creator. Nothing else.
ctbarnumParticipant@F.S.
That explains it. That said, I wasn’t up for another day of “Trucks don’t have charter rights” idiocy from Elizabeth May (what about the people in those trucks?).
Emerson and the Peace Arch Crossings I was especially interested in, as those two were the ones I crossed the most as a driver. Coutts, not so much because my routes back home took me across Crowsnest Pass then down 95 into Idaho. Not one Youtube about Emerson though, which I found strange, as it’s the second busiest in terms of freight.
ctbarnumParticipantIf she’s correct, there actually was a blockade at Emerson, MB, which would be the first I’d heard of it. Other than that, I’ve seen nothing out of the Canadian Parliament all day, which might be a good thing given the levels of idiocy I heard from them yesterday.

ctbarnumParticipantThe feeds do seem to be going down quite a bit today, but those within crowds are still going.
ctbarnumParticipantctbarnumParticipantDefinitely did not go as planned. Did she try turning it off and back on again? Pepperidge Farms remembers.

ctbarnumParticipantctbarnumParticipantJust tired today, so apologies for my limited soliloquy. That said, seems more and more like Trudeau is just Hillary Clinton with a penis.

Remember that #COVID19 nose swab test you took? What happened to the swab? If it was processed with a PCR test, there’s a 10% chance that it ended up in a lab for genomic sequencing analysis. Learn more about the process and its importance: https://t.co/XAHSGANLxu @WIRED @CDC_AMD

Thank goodness I only get the rapid antigen test, which turned out negative again after going through five states to visit my sister. I did not see a mask anywhere until stopping at a university to inquire about a teaching position.

ctbarnumParticipantAny updates on how the BC15 protest is going?
Simply put, the working man (and woman) are revolting against the Trudeau administration.

ctbarnumParticipantBoth are entirely plausible.
He’s being serious? I don’t know many petit bourgeoisie who willingly place 60 pound chains around 45″ tires in -30C weather just to go over a mountain so shelves are stocked.
ctbarnumParticipantLambert lost me at the “petit bourgeoisie” tag for truckers. NC has literally gone off the deep end.

ctbarnumParticipantI love the parting shot here:
25. But it's those brave truckers on the Ambassador Bridge who put a fright into Biden and Psaki. In 1812, the last time Canada invaded the U.S., they sacked the place and burned down the White House. Psaki doesn't know her history but Biden is old enough to have been there.

ctbarnumParticipant” “If you know anything about truck air brakes, once you pull that button, all 18 wheels are locked,” Crowe told CBC on Wednesday”
This is hee-larious. Written by someone who has no idea how air brake systems work. Pulling the emergency buttons does cut the air off to the system, but once there’s enough air in the system, air is released once the buttons are pushed back in. Disabling such a system means disconnecting the air compressor in the motor and then bleeding the air tanks for the truck and trailer. Then everything locks up with no incoming air to resupply the system.
Try towing that. There is at least an hour’s labor for each truck, times however many trucks with disabled systems before they can even think about towing them,
Do these idiots even do a simple google search? Myself, just remembering my experience with driving a semi.
