phoenix: “… my 3 kids … have all had social studies units dedicated to genocide …. I believe they have studied this topic more in depth than I had by their age.”

Oh, they definitely have. I had the distinct [dis]pleasure of working remotely for a small, full-on woke corporation for about 10 months. I was constantly told all whites are privileged slave owners guilty of committing genocide. Full stop. Wait, I think the word rape might have been in there, too.

When I pushed back, my “situation” was escalated to the CEO, who told me I’m uncomfortable with this discussion because it’s hard for me, as a white person (woman, no less?), to admit to it and change my perspective.

Pay close attention to what your children are learning. Until I experienced this thinking and messaging first-hand, I wouldn’t have believed just how insidious and damaging it is. And I’m old. Imagine if you’re an impressionable adolescent.

Yes, it really is as bad as the “religious right” are saying it is.

Redneck: “… the collapsing , dying , almost finished , diminished US dollar is the strongest it has been in nearly a decade …”

Edward Dowd said in a recent interview that he expected the US dollar to “fail up.” I’m no expert on this, but the dollar “… is strongest it has been in nearly a decade …” would fit with Dowd’s theory?? [shrugs shoulders, doesn’t have a dog in this fight].

Curious as to explanations of both sides of this debate.

John Day, thank you for the detailed explanation of fetal heartbeat. I agree, this is a really serious debate and should be entered only with an understanding of the terminology used during discussion.

On another subject, this is a very interesting interview. Maajid Nawaz and Dr Yeadon. Gloves off.

Has anyone else here noticed that AFKTT has shifted the conversation on this forum to a climate change debate?

Aren’t there other forums dedicated to that particular discussion that AFKTT can join? Why drag climate change into 80% of the discussion here?

It also seems like some long-term commenters have somewhat bagged it and stopped posting very often. I miss the variety of topics we used to enjoy on this forum.

Just asking. Maybe I’m the only one who noticed.

Thank you, willem (#116669). Agree with you. Let the cards fall as they may. Do what you can with what’s in front of you as best you can. (or die, I suppose, but then … you’re dead so what difference)

Good summary, “The whole Climate Change narrative is something that was decided on in a conference room years ago as the theme that would be used to create the proper sense of crisis for the public.”

And so the debates rage on … even on this forum … I’d love one commenter here to state just what the flip their endless debate will impact in the long run. Seriously. It’s like being at a company meeting.

Moving on from the topic of CO2 and human-induced climate change, which none of us on this forum can control because I’m fairly certain none of us are flying around in private jets for the day to shoe shop in Paris …

Interesting interview with Dr McCullough (USA Watchdog). Around 27 minutes in, when asked about the long rubbery blood clots found by morticians, McCullough says, “We’re seeing them clinically when patients are alive by ultrasound and they’re not going away.” He goes on to describe what they (drs) think is happening.

I’ve waffled on this particular fibrous clot phenom, but McCullough is a highly regarded and published dr. If he is stating in an interview they’re seeing the clots, they exist. We here on the forum have set the vaxx topic aside, for the most part, but the boosters are rolling out. Some people are heading into their 4th and 5th shot. And the vaxx is still skulking about in the background hoping no one notices it’s there. NYC still has mandates for city employees. 🙁

Darn, Bosco, this statement seems a bit harsh “I was once told I view the TAE crowd as an entomologist views an ant farm. It wasn’t true at the time. At the time, I was looking for a few good men. But, having failed at that

Circle back to comment #116660, that might help perspective a bit.

I think there are quite a few good people on here. Perhaps I’m misunderstanding your statement?

AFKTT seems to have a couple chords he/she can play really well on the guitar, and commenters can’t help but join in on the chorus. lol

CO2 and climate change. Doesn’t matter what humans do with the damned oil, resources [ie, that all important item called food] will collapse before “climate change” (is that the current approved term?) has a chance to, idk, kill all of us.

Lots of long long comments on this topic. Literally arguing about O2 in a room.

I’m throwing in with Veracious on this one, comment #116638, “blah blah blah …” 😉

Just had a debate with my brother RE: 2020 election and he mentioned the gallows erected at the capitol building. I don’t watch TV or do social media so had no idea what he was talking about. A duck duck search (yeah, I know, I haven’t switched yet) only popped the usual: nbc, npr, etc., etc.

Does anyone have a source for balanced reporting about where these were erected, by whom, etc.?

Oh, and he also said the FBI arrested the person responsible for the pipe bombs. Is that true? Am I that out of touch at this point?

    Thanks!

If we had a “lol” with tears, I’d post it. Recently took me 5 or 6 tries to pay a medical bill, trying online, by phone (machine driven), AND … talking to a live person. Literally couldn’t pay my bill. What’s wrong with this picture.

phoenix: competition vs cooperation. “Both of those are using reductionist strategies that oversimplify reality and human relationships in order to control a narrative.”

Ya think? 😉 Kind of like, “black lives matter” vs “all lives matter.” Aren’t both statements true?

Control is about pitting one party against another. State an obvious (black lives matter), then act threatened when someone points out that other perspectives are also valid.

Thanks to all who provided their feedback on gibson’s 404 message. 🙂 I hesitated for a couple days to even ask. Now I’m glad I did. Had no idea that, per thomasjkenney, “Nearly universal slang for Ukraine in non-Western circles, a non-existent ‘country’, cannot be found …”

it already did. Europe is imploding (rebooting fossil fuels and scrambling to walk back the claim that 100% green energy is the future), the EU is fracturing (with financial knuckle-rapping of Hungary & Poland on deck now), and China/India/et al are starting to buy/sell petro without the “reserve currency.” Idk … what does winning look like?

Checking in at the end of the day and … wow. Quite a bit of deep onion-peeling philosophical thoughts going on here today. Some of the comments I’ll have to re-read tomorrow when I’m not tired.

However, agree 100% with Bosco’s comment #115898. Yeah, Bosco, we keep staring at and arguing over stupid sh*t that will impact absolutely nothing when the dust all settles. Whenever that is.

I remain slack jawed at the amount of time spent analyzing minutia that has no impact whatsoever on the greater scheme of things. The soup du jour: Russia/Ukraine. Omg, the crazy level of detailed, daily analysis of who’s winning at any given moment. Seriously? A nuclear super power is going to lose to Ukraine? Huh? Did Russia suddenly decide they’d rather have a leisurely tea party in the garden than fight to win? If push comes to shove, which anyone with a couple brain cells rubbing together hopes doesn’t happen, this conflict is no contest. Why are we analyzing it to the nth degree on a daily basis?

And … sorry, but, how can ANYONE take a “war” seriously when leaders and celebrities are flying in and out of the “war zone” like they’re heading off on a vacation? Worse yet … a spread in Vogue of Volodymyr and Olena … during the “war” from their, what bunker or something, in Kiev.

My god, we humans have become too stupid for words.

aspnaz: “The anti-vax movement was well established before Covid and was well propagandised against well before Covid, the majority of normal people thinking it was full of nutters.”

Correct. I’ve been one of those nutters for decades. Long before it became popular in the past year or so 😉

Your thoughts on Desmet are interesting and I’ll think on them: “Desmet is … giving the people an excuse for why they made a stupid decision to go along with the government’s Covid propaganda. […] People don’t like to find out they did something stupid … they don’t want to take responsibility for their own circumstances…”

Doesn’t history itself (not Desmet) show us this is the case? Considering the bell curve, majority fall somewhere in the middle, isn’t this human nature? Ask someone in authority what to do, follow the advice, blame them when it goes wrong. Not my responsibility cause “you said so.”

Having said that, our western medical system has indoctrinated most people into that mindset for decades so the leap is not that hard at this point. That some of us avoid it is an interesting question.

DBS: “Therefore, to reiterate : yes of course there is a Cabal. And yes, of course it is secretively conspiratorial, and also yes of course it is trying to homicidally reduce population by more than 90%. To believe otherwise in the face of overwhelming evidence is to make a fatal mistake.”

I had trouble believing this for a long while. I thought covid and the follow-on jabs were about greed, money, with the usual players. This far along, with the boosters now being pushed despite the insane level of death and disability already from the jabs (not to mention, public admission by public health that jabs do not prevent infection or transmission) … well, I’ve changed my mind.

Something is going on. People who have spent time and effort researching have a much better idea of the intricacies of this than I ever will. But, sadly, I do think this latest (no early treatment, remdesivir, respirators, no family in the hospital, vaxxes, etc.) is a population reduction exercise. The lock downs were a way to buy time to keep global finance stumbling along. It’s like watching a train wreck in the slowest motion possible. Painful.
