They want an economic union. What exactly is NAFTA? That was another nice idea for a tiny country to sign on the dotted line and tie itself into an agreement with America – the one nation that never keeps its word!
Canada did well – for a pretty useless country – riding on the coattails of the British and American Empires. If it had an independent government it would be on the short list to join BRICs and jump onto the Chinese and Russian coattails.

Let’s give PCR some credit. He took a position early on and has stood by it. By not standing up to NATO, Russia is encouraging the warmongers. Some will claim he’s wrong, however Syria has made it clear that the jury is still out. Plus every attack in Russia which is not responded to – which means retaliating against NATO, outside Ukraine – is more evidence PCR may be right.
How the Ukrainian war ends will determine who is right and wrong. Does Putin cut a deal and sell out? None of us know until the time comes. So PCR is perfectly entitled to stick to his theory.
The 5D chess argument to avoid global nuclear war is wearing thin with me. If Russia(and Iran) are acting based on the fear the Western Loons with start a nuclear war then they’ve already lost. Really, if the Americans were going to launch a nuclear first strike then they would have already done it. What’s stopping them? Maybe the same common sense that’s stopped everyone in the past.

I’ve been noticing posts about Valley Girl Kamala all over the internet and assumed she is really dumb then moved on. I wasn’t going to waste my time watching the videos. This morning I wasted my time.
The clip with Oprah didn’t leave me wondering about Kamala’s word salad, it left me wondering what the poster was talking about. Nothing he described was true. What I heard from Harris was BS because she doesn’t believe anything she stated. However what she said sounded perfectly coherent.
Same with the James Woods clip. I didn’t think what she said was very informative – it’s AI and I care as much about AI as I do 18th century Dutch tulips – but “dunderhead”? One would think Woods would offer actual evidence if he wanted to persuade anyone.

I imagine that if they can’t rig enough votes that they’ll simply claim Russia fixed it for Trump then refuse to give up power. What’s Trump do if he wins but they won’t let him become president? Assuming Trump is actually going to try to fix things, he must be president before he has power to do anything. And he can’t become president unless the Democrats recognize his election victory.

I don’t know much but I am certain Kamala cannot WIN the election. Unless one can win with 1 million TDS votes. I’m not as certain about her becoming president because I don’t know which faction is making the final decision and what their motive is. However, if I had to wager, I’d consider her the safe “vote”.

Good point on the virtual signaling/crocodile tears. I’ve a friend whose brother in law is a major Trump hater(the TDS epidemic is very wide spread in Canada). They talked Sunday. The brother in law naturally began with “I’m glad he wasn’t killed”. Yet partway thru the conversation, the brother in law let slip “it’s unfortunate he missed”.

That’s my simple/optimistic view on things. Putin with a 1st Round KO(or are we already in the 3-4 round?). What lost me in the modern version was the emphasis on action over story(basically the 21st century West. All virtue signaling, no substance). Give PCR credit for mentioning one of the most thought provoking movies to come out of Hollywood. His takeaway from it seems a bit simple. There was much more going on than just saying justice prevailed over the law.
What impressed me most about Unforgiven was that it came on the heels of Dances With Wolves. The stark realism in contrast to the idealism of the former film was what most impressed me. Eastwood didn’t try to put any of his characters in a box and went out of his way to make things uncomfortable for his audience. That’s exactly how such a violent story should be told. Costner simply had the cowboys and indians swap black hats for white hats.

China competing with the USA for influence over Europe. Why? At least the Americans have reasons: 1) to extract what little wealth is left in Europe 2) to use Europe against Russia.
What value does Europe have for China or Russia or Iran? There are no natural resources. The continent is being de-industrialized so it won’t make anything. Do they still have any gold? I know ten years ago Merkel was taking Germany’s gold back(a suitcase full each time she came home from NY). Plus you’ve got an ethnic blueprint which makes 1991 Bosnia look like a Sunday School picnic.
Isn’t everyone living in the past thinking Europe still has value? Like every western country it has a spoiled, narcissistic population and it has massive debt.
