I know, another post.
Non-compliance is HARD emotionally in Melbourne – in wealthy suburbs like where my in-laws live. They do not like dirty blue jeans and they most certainly gave me eyes-only dirty looks and rubber necked my movements in the movie cinema with my boy to see the Matrix Resurrections (bit crap btw). I was the only non-compliant one and offered a fake vax passport, no mask, no QR sign in and gave a fake phone number for tracking purposes.This is surely a precursor to collapse. What the hell are we doing? Americans can make movies but no way you could get the job done here on a budget.

What back-up arrangements are being made?
This is a big one John and I am glad we are all getting another go-round on the topic as it is very important. Your feelings and ideas on the scope and breadth of the task are well supported by just a few short minutes of reminding ourselves how we all got here – The Haber Bosch process.
I love the dualism in Haber being the Godfather of making exponential humans possible but also being the first Chemical warfare guru. Strange indeed.I have for 3 days, been in Melbourne (which is culturally weird as F! because of the lockdowns and fear – I’ll report more another time).
The ability of people here to withstand food crisis is nil. The houses go on endlessly (5 million bodies use them) and the yards are too small to yield food on any sustaining level AT ALL. They would indeed rely on external inputs as they do now and would have little leverage if the oil/financial situation turned against them (it will). Like Europe to Russia/America they will see the difficulties and they will be extreme. There is food produced on the margins but would it provide the carbs, proteins and sugars? I don’t know, but a mix of people-power and some authoritarian management could do it though Hubbert’s peak is now asymmetric in shape and looking cliff-like (Gail Tvalberg and we here understand this dynamic well).We have no crystal ball but we can tease it out… Houses too big/families too small = repurpose house materials elsewhere to retrofit the suburbs in the fashion of Aussie St. in Holmgren’s retrofitting suburbia – this means taking control of the streets and neighbourhoods outside of normal title laws, which in turn requires a new system and a disregard for legal structures that are not local. This WILL happen in my opinion but not till it is all total shit.
People don’t have the luxury of strategic planning during phase-shift either and it is looking like that. They focus on the next can of beans or mortgage payment. So yes Dr John – “short” is more like how long is a piece of string.On a positive note there is heaps and heaps of food being grown in Victoria and if Globalists were taken care of – i.e. fucked right off, then there would be some transition of merit that could happen.
My take is that we should not rely on the mainstream or group thinking and take as much into our own hands as possible (as serious investor types following profitable instructions – which BTW was the title of the first printed gardening to-do book ever printed (parsnips), and also because it is awesome and a grown-up person thing to do).
This means as many have mentioned – setting up as best as possible – emergency kit of food and fuel, cash etc. and then whatever necessities of our existence are critical to be dealt with as best a possible – Water, Soil, access etc. THEN very importantly begin now to share excess every time – give it all away. Not honey or timber but perishables like peaches and even eggs. We always need to be of some use (even if half the time I have my head up my arse). Words will become like derivatives or dollars – yielding less return all the time and deeds will be back in fashion.

PhoenixVoice – you did very well. The world needs non-compliance so thank you so much – it is icky to go through that shit – it is counter balanced in my life with a very large anti-force/demand/mandate group on Signal (app) that meet in the real world and party and help each other.
The weird thing is for most of my life and for the lives of people older than me we have been aware of, or wanting some counter culture movement to be localised and lasting. However none of these intentional communities really ever seem to take hold (there may be some exceptions like the Kibbutz scene etc. ?)
They form organically out of environmental pressure, not through idealism or intention.
We have the conditions now and they are forming and solidifying.
Counter narrative becomes solid and cohesive and self-supporting. Involves emotional support, financial, communication fair share etc. All are welcome and accepted because the shared external stress is a binding agent. Much more tolerance is incorporated but dangers of identification and ‘specialness’ exist though not yet manifest.We are linking more than ever. David Holmgren has created models (others too) that are now being real-world tested in unique and diverse ways. I am thinking very much about privacy in the crypto world and want to learn about Pirate coind and Dark.fi etc.

It is nice to be in someone else’s thoughts when you know you have their support. I think God is like that. I remain in the original ontological thought of allness during the time I think I am specific and not generalized. Then when my thoughts become more inclusive and abstract I return or dissolve back into that non-specific God thought.As for being watched for my skills in handling others fears angers and weirdness – I am a mixed bag and not as generalised in my Charity and compassion as I would like but I don’t give myself too much of a hard time about it.

I watched Chris Martenson’s interview with Dr Matthias Desmet today and he said really we have no choice. It will be more pain for us in the short term to push but if the counter argument gets truly silenced under the conditions of Mass Formation during Totalitarianism – atrocities begin.

I just feel that it is in the humility of not holding on to any idea too much that identification solidifies – I just become a dickhead. Do I prefer to be right or happy? Who walks with me? two questions that I can’t ask myself enough times in a day or life.
John Day – wet year here in Central Victoria (australia) but I have carrots, beans, potatoes, onions, 3 types of Tomatoes, cucumber, corn, zucchini, beetroot, cabbage. All I can manage with full time work, chickens (too many eggs to eat at the mo), 10 bee hives, 100 fruit trees (loquats are loving the wet and small amount of frosts over winter – cherry and pear slug, low fruit set high vegetative growth on most other things). Oh and a 12 year old and a 3 year old and building a 30square metre light earth shed from trees I cut and de-barked from my eucalyptus forest. Wild baby ducks and turtles with fresh water crayfish in the dam etc…
Bed time – I wish i could have more time to read and absorb but we do what we can. Dr D needs to post ASAP (make haste Herr Doctor) as I hate my morning read compared to my night one. A laugh and a maddened fist-shake are two of my best friends.
Michael Reid is right on one level. Land appreciates and is tied to this worlds seeming reality and thus coveted. Like another man’s wife or other idols. I can however pick up take away if I wait outside and have my barcode scanned to prove -what my triangulated smartphone already tells – that I existed in that spot for that 1 and a half minutes while I breathed all over the air with my sick nature. Horrid body I have – tanned and ripped with muscle from a life of landscaping, dance and martial arts – living as I do on my 10 acre self-sufficient permaculture paradise on largely home-grown food. And not only did you not drop to your knees, you rose like a Phoenix in the night and stepped fully and completely into your power.
