    jump, rats, jump!

Clever. In the face of another piece of data nullifying your narrative, you tell others to jump ship.

“Deflationista” flatters me with attention to my comment.

“Doctor” John Day makes me laugh with the irony of his comments:

the slippery slope of cognitive laziness, not reconsidering assumptions and looking for flaws regularly. Many are no good at it. Many more could do it, but take the easier path of going-along.
Once the first lazy step is taken, “copping out”, any application of intellectual rigor becomes less and less possible, until there is some catastrophic breakage in the support system and everything must be re-assessed.
Proactively looking for flaws and failures is a lot of work, but it’s also my set-point somehow.
It makes me slower, but I usually do good work, and I own-up to mistakes and simple errors promptly. It’s too much work to fake stuff and I’ll just forget what my lie was supposed to be these days.

those darned kids is a perfect example of several things I have been ranting about.

    1) Always be contrary. Especially towards perceived “enemies”. Even when you’re wrong.
    2) Rarely be right. But just act like you are.
    3) They don’t know what they don’t know. But they think they know, so they say they do.
    4) When shown their errors in judgement, they will simply just pivot to the next thing to be aggrieved about. Or just call me a robot.

    Seriously, well done.

Thanks for giving me yet another opportunity to share some pictures.

Still trying to count the 50,000 trucks. Hell, I am trying to find the 11,000 that RFK said would be there. Surely, 10’s of 1000’s is ridiculous. But do keep sending the photos. You may want to do a better job selecting the ones you do decide to share. Maybe next time take out the one showing two women stopping trucks from going down their street or the ones with the swastikas. Those bad apples always ruin the batch!

Here is a photo that might help to put this “massive” protest into at least a little clearer perspective:

And here is a flyover from the big day of protest. Maybe you could count the trucks? The Ottawa Police did:

Look, the point is, you had pretty much the entire right wing apparatus claiming that 50,000 trucks were descending on Ottawa. That never happened. Not even close. Not even close to close. But people just keep on repeating the high number, despite the photos, despite the drones, despite the numbers put out by the Ottawa police. Raul repeated the claim again right here in this forum, just this morning. This sort of exaggeration is not just isolated to the Freedom Convoy attendance numbers. The overblown convoy numbers are just a very clear example of what occurs when disinfo spreads. Make exaggerated claims, driven by fear and confusion and a healthy mix of willful ignorance. When those claims don’t materialize, either insist that the claims DID materialize, or provide a further convoluted conspiracy as to why they didn’t, or say the claims did happen and the results are being covered up. From ivermectin, to VAERS, to FLCCC, to the convoy, to the election, on and on and on it goes. Claims are made and those claims are easily disproven. Let’s not pretend that people shouldn’t look at ivermectin data to determine the veracity of claims made. That’s just simply how it works. If people find problems with the data, or discover fraud, why be mad at the one’s discovering the fraud? Why not be mad at yourself for ever putting stock in claims that could easily be disproven, most often with just basic math skills? You all claim to be such truth seeking stalwarts, but get all weak kneed when asked to apply the same scrutiny to your own causes or beliefs.

That’s one way of looking at it. Another is that everyone involved realizes that 10s of 1000s of trucks is a logistical problem no police force can solve.

Just keep on repeating it, I guess. 10s of 1000s?

Interesting how Dr. D brings up provocateurs injecting themselves into national protest, based wholly on speculation, when he could just as easily make the same point using actual proven stories. Like the one where right wing “Boogaloo” groups descended on Minnesota to incite violence and set fires. The receipts for that come in the way of police reports and convictions, not back eddy web sites that profit on innuendo.

Time to search your soul and do the right thing. Even if your motive is simply to save yourself, it’s still the right thing. Stop lying.

What the fuck are you talking about? You sound so ominous. And serious. Oooooh I better snap to attention! The rational D Benton Smith has spoken!

Anyone who combs through the ivermectin data comes to the same conclusions, that is, if you don’t believe in fairy tales. Studies end up getting retracted because of fraud. How many have there been now? But that doesn’t stop the TRUE believers. You just have to BELIEVE in order for it to work. Like a belief in Santa Claus. Or The Secret. Manifest Ivermectin! If you don’t BELIEVE, it doesn’t work.

The bizarre part is that all of those people charged with combing through the studies only to find fraud still hold out hope that there is benefit. I can provide receipts if you like? I already have. But most people only hear or see what they want to hear or see. I am guessing Sean Lennon is unaware of such analyses.

And through it all, people STILL have no ability to understand that correlation does not imply causation. Amazing! The ivermectin did it!!! Maybe the ivermectin makes you fucking crazy? Correlate that.

Hoping ivermectin fails? Hoping? Dr. Pierre “Ivermectin is 100% effective” Kory got covid, and you won’t believe this shit: he got it while taking ivermectin as part of the same protocol his FLCCC tells other people to follow! You can’t make the shit up. I think the days of hoping this works are long over. There is still a slight hope that it will show negligible benefit, but I am not a hopey, changey kind of person. Are you? At this point it is just comical to watch people like Raul and Joe “Well lookie here” Rogan and frankly, the majority of you fall for the BS, hook, line, and sinker. Raul posted the Japan story the other day. Within hours the story was retracted/corrected, but the story was already shared through networks like this one. And facebook. And twitter. Thousands and thousands of times. As if it was some breaking story. No admission or correction of this is ever posted by Raul or anyone else. And the less discerning audience out there, which many of you are part of, just read it and run with it as well. A feedback loop of make believe. When I post the retractions, it’s crickets. Or, in this case, you freak out like I just told your kid that there is no Santa Claus.

The same thing happened with the truckers in Canada. I saved all the receipts from Raul’s favorite propagandists and their proclamations that 50,000 truckers were streaming to Ottawa. 50,000? Somebody posted a video yesterday where it showed at most 400 trucks being flown over with a drone and some really inspirational music. Ottawa police have their own numbers. And they ain’t anywhere near what you think they are. It is so fucking childish. And what happened when the propagandists said 50,000? You all run with it as if it were ironclad truth. Because it tickles your bias. No need for baloney detection! All your heroes said 50,000, so by god, 50,000 it is. Repeated over and over on social media until at last it is a mass formation psychosis event where people are changing their social media avatars like they did during #metoo or the Paris terror incident. “I Stand with the Truckers” is all you had to say to virtue signal that you are a patriot just like everyone else in your living fairy tale. Crazy as fuck RFK put his estimate at 11,000 and even that was a gross overestimate. And then we are shown drone footage from actual people there on the ground, and it becomes clear that there is nowhere near the amount of people, let alone truckers, in Ottawa that the propagandists said there were. But even that doesn’t matter. You all just go right along and fit your square, 50,000 peg into the round hole. It’s like Trump’s inauguration all over again. And it was even suggested that there was some conspiracy with the cameras around the city. That they were turned off and video played showing far less people in the square than there actually were as if anyone gives a fuck to go that far. Around and around your delusions go. Day in, day out. And you’re worried about Neil fucking Young pulling his OWN music from a platform because he doesn’t agree with the platform’s leniency in allowing dipshits to spread these types of lunatic theories? Mass formation at every level.

You people spent the summer parroting the lead of Steve “I got vaccinated along with my entire family” Kirsch and his warnings about ADE and suggesting that at some point everyone who got the “clot shot” will just start dropping dead, maybe as early as Christmas. These statements were always made with some hollow disclaimer like “I hope that doesn’t happen, but I am so scared now.” You could always, however, sense some eagerness that ADE might actually be occurring, because in some deep pathological sense, I think a lot of you are more interested in just being 1) contrary and 2) being right. You can always be contrary, but you can’t always be right. In many cases here, you have never been right. You all just seem to be dying for the chance to say “I told you so!” even if it means your friends and family want nothing to do with you, or they die.

At this point I am sure a lot of people do feel that they want ivermectin to turn out to be a dud, especially after watching the semi-retarded masses heading to the local D&B to buy ivermectin cream and asking the pimple faced workers how much they should swallow based on the recommended dose from FLCCC. Have you ever taken the time to look at the forums of these people discussing techniques on how to administer ivermectin? They are, ironically, the same types of forums that discuss urine therapy. Do whatever the fuck you want with ivermectin or your own piss, but don’t get butt hurt when people with bigger brains than you point out the clinical problems associated with the preprints and studies. And whatever you do, “Doooon’t Stop— Believe- ing Ohhoooooooohooooh”

And there is a whole swath of people out there who loathe the contrarians in their lives. Like the people here who have described their own families who don’t talk to them anymore. Yeah, they probably do want to see your schtick fail miserably, especially if you tell them that they will be dead by Christmas from ADE because they got the “clot shot”. If you meet an asshole in the morning, you met an asshole. If you meet assholes all day long, you’re the asshole.

Now, in keeping with tradition, you are concocting the next phase of your anti-vax/conspiracy/narrative. Now in the waning days of Omicron, when cases are peaking and deaths are dropping, you just simply pivot to saying that the “narrative” is crumbling. What the fuck are you talking about? Crumbling? And that somehow “people like me” are getting desperate? What the fuck does that even mean? Nothing has changed. Your fairy tales never end. And you just glom on to the next topic to be contrary about and the goal posts are simply moved. Past predictions never come to pass, but the pearl clutching continues, and new dire predictions are always made.

Being contrarian for contrarians sake is a fool’s game. And there seems to be a whole lot of people right in this forum who like to play. Science isn’t only real when it confirms what you ‘believe’. You do know that, don’t you? Or maybe you really don’t.

Most of the time, you should just assume that what you think is wrong. Start there.

You don’t know what you don’t know.

Not only does Ivermectin work, it’s even more effective than Paxlovid against Omicron.

Bury your head a little deeper up whatever ass you seem lodged in, why don’t you?.

Cheez-Its are most effective against Omicron. You can’t prove that they’re not. Dr. Vinny Boombatz says that Cheez-Its are the answer but big farma is keeping him silent.

So, Dr. D has been advocating for N95 the entire time and that goddamn bloated bureaucracy setting the guidelines just wouldn’t listen to him!?!?!

Oh the horror. So, what? Are you butt hurt now? Is that what I am sensing? Are you saying that masks don’t work now? I have been wearing an N95 from the very start. Where is my prize? It is quite amazing to watch the psychology of it all. On one hand, people here clamor over completely unproven, and even disproven, “miracle cures”. You know, like ivermectin or hydroxychloroquine. They fall all over themselves about emergency use monoclonal antibodies. The arguments for the use of “preventative” and “therapeutic” treatments most often boil down to the following: “Who cares about some RCT? I’ve seen it work with my own eyes. Uttar Pradesh! I don’t have time to wait for some damn fangled scienz to tell me that I can use something in MY OWN DAMN BODY.” That is what I get most of the time at least. But, see, on one hand it appears that you all are willing to throw the kitchen sink at preventing a virus, that ironically, according to some, might be a hoax, or nothing more than a common cold- certainly no worse than the flu. But on the other hand, seem open to all sorts of treatment ideas, even treatments like urine therapy or gargling Listerine or even nebulizing hydrogen peroxide into the lungs. Most here are willing to follow and pay for an FLCCC protocol that requires pills to be taken at certain times for certain days. But when it comes to those masks, now, see, that’s where the line is drawn “you fucking sheep”. If you’re going to layer your protection from covid with unproven treatments, why stop at mask wearing? Seems like that should be part of the protection plan. Especially since, out of all of the protocols you seem to be willing to follow, it has been proven to be fairly effective to reduce the spread. And who the fuck cares if the CDC just got around to changing their guidelines? Or that you have been saying it for 2 years? You don’t trust them anyway.

Maybe masks “don’t work” because only some people wear them? Or mock them? Or maybe they “don’t work” because the fucking CDC told us last year we could throw the masks away as a hidden tsunami of Delta was about to crash down on the shore? Some of you act like the CDC and the bureaucracy can’t be trusted for anything- but then get mad when they fuck up. Can you have it both ways?

The vax reduces your risk of dying or severe disease and reduces your ability to transmit. REDUCES. When shown data about the numbers of deaths among vaxed and partially vaxed and unvaxed, the picture is pretty fucking clear. But not for some here. They just “can’t trust that data”. Apparently, the data needs to be put through the Kirsch/Denninger/Malone/Rogan/VanDenBosche/Kory/Tucker/Peters meat grinder before it can be accepted. That is some mass formation right there.

Everyone wants it to end, but some think now is the time to play Braveheart and “hold the line”. From what I can see, the one’s playing minuteman seem dumber than a box of rocks. And that’s based on what I see “on the ground”. But, remember you can’t judge a movement by a few dumb apples.

We are fucking dumb all over.

    those darned kids:

First of all, I don’t support war mongers. Never have. But you would know that if you paid attention. But you don’t, which is precisely the point of this post.

Mr. Football Fan himself, who thinks that the guy who had a heart attack at a game last month is some indicator of a larger vaccine problem. Just because you don’t know about something, doesn’t mean it is not a thing. You don’t know what you don’t know.

There is a cool tool out there to assist you whenever you have the desire to investigate your harebrained thoughts. It is called Google. You can also use any search engine on the internet. These search engines have a handy feature that allows you to search key words during a specific date range. In this case, I googled “fan has heart attack at game” and set the date range from Jan 1, 2011 to Jan 1, 2021. Ain’t that something? Guess what I found? A whole bunch of news articles describing the very thing that you said was so rare and occurring as a result of the vaccine. Mind you, this is a partial list (below). I tried to post it yesterday but forgot to eliminate the http:, so this blog interface sent my post to the black hole. But, lucky for you, I thought I would redo it ( I had a partially saved version in my word processor). The list of articles and examples got so long that I thought I would just post some here and then let you try the new tool I described above. It may save you embarrassment in the future!

I also came across numerous articles describing the real phenomenon of fans having heart attacks at games- especially games that are important ones, or games that are close in score. Try some of these to make yourself aware of how wrong you were:

    cbc.ca/news/canada/calgary/calgary-flames-fans-risk-heart-attacks-during-high-stress-hockey-games-1.3054196

    webmd.com/heart-disease/news/20110130/football-losses-raise-heart-attack-risk

Unfortunately for you, all of these “fans having heart attacks at games” examples occurred before any vaccine was available. Most also happened before any of us ever heard the word Covid.

I can, and already have, done this same exercise for players with sudden cardiac arrests. But, I encourage you to “do your own research” on that as well.

You can always lean on me! Maybe it’s time for you to jump ship?

i guess i’m trying to say the anecdotes are piling up faster than bodies in a midlands morgue.

i’ve watched football for years (go seagulls!) and never once did i see a match interrupted because a fan needed medical attention from the trainers.

How does one explain the numbers coming out of Scotland that basically show negative vaccine effectivity?

It is pretty much explained here:

    https://www.heraldscotland.com/news/19859461.covid-scotland-death-rate-25-times-higher-double-jabbed-boosted/

“In the four weeks from December 11 to January 7, Scotland recorded 107 Covid deaths among patients who were double-vaccinated, but not boosted.

The vast majority (95 per cent) had received their second dose more than six months prior to their death and – of these patients – 96.3% “had several co-morbidities which contributed to their deaths” and an average age of 78.

According to the report from Public Health Scotland, the age-standardised Covid mortality rate in the first week of January was 0.46 per 100,000 in the triple-vaccinated population, compared to 11.89 per 100,000 in the double-jabbed and 7.62 per 100,000 among the unvaccinated.

However, once the over-70s – who are most vulnerable to waning immunity – are excluded, the mortality rate remains highest in the unvaccinated.”
