ParticipantPCR doesn’t mince his words, and makes his points crystal clear to those of us trying to follow American politics from afar! So if PCR is correct, and Trump will not be permitted to run, will that pave the way for Vivek to gain the nomination, coming in with a late run and plenty of money behind him? – a breath of fresh air, a young vibrant prez for the young voters, charismatic, (à la Melone, Macron, Adern), well-groomed for the role, and one to drag in the women’s vote 🙂 but…malleable.

ParticipantV Arnold. Yes you did a good thing! Maybe you understand why we half-heartedly ponder moving to Russia. But, how bad does it have to get? We’re not there yet. I wonder that at some stage principle may come into it.
Why are not more people out protesting against the genocide? I suggest many only have a vague idea that it’s even happening. Checking through the freebie Daily Mail last night for the latest crap being fed into peoples’ minds, I noted not one mention of the Gaza situation. TAE, as well as the likes ofJohn Day’s line-up above, needs to be compulsory reading for soft Westerners who want for little and watch the evening news in the comfort of their warm homes. So who controls what journalists are told to write? There lies profound wickedness!SeaBirds
ParticipantThanks Raul.
‘Should we move to Russia?’
We’ve been thinking about this for some time now. If anyone has any thoughts, tips or advice on the matter, we would like to hear it. Definitely not brainwashed against Russia, or the leadership we’ve followed closely for the past 23 odd years.John Day, we read your post re the Obama family with foreboding. The thought of Obama, – any Obama in the White House for another eight years is not one to cherish. Nor is the idea of the Labour Party with Blair in the background taking power in the UK. The EU governance is unbelievable. It all makes us continue to look upon Putin (and co) with keen interest.
SeaBirds
ParticipantThanks for that analysis
Which all leads us to then wonder if the Europeans will ever see sense? (Schultz has just agreed to send another 25 Leopards to Ukraine, which in the circumstances beggars belief.) But now there are two EU States, (Hungary and Slovakia) who are unwilling to support the Ukraine war against Russia. Even Poland has stepped back. Will more crack? We understand a snap election is about to take place in Serbia which could be interesting. The EU is calling for Serbia to join the Bloc, requiring recognition of Kosovo and sanctioning of Russia. Bosnian-Serb leader Dodik “suggested countries of the former Yugoslavia ought to join BRICS instead.” Such a development would surely set the cat among the pigeons…SeaBirds

ParticipantNew Zealand crime scene
We lived through the vaccination ‘genocide’ in NZ. Still difficult to fathom it happened in our home country. Still angry and outraged that a pychopathic woman and her ‘team’ were lead by powerful ‘elites’ to unleash a poisonous media campaign on simple-minded, naive Kiwis, and lead many to their deaths. Some were our friends, neighbours and close relatives. Liz Gunn and others like her are Kiwi heroes, and we admire them and thank them for their tireless work for the good of our Nation. We don’t hold much hope for the newly elected government, lead by a man who purportedly paid a visit to Bill Gates in the midst of the rollout, pushing at the time for more and more injections.
And so the influence of powerful ‘elites’ and their media rampage continues across to run amok with human life across our world. Who knows where it will end.SeaBirds
ParticipantThanks Raúl for those concise insights, you hit the bullseye again.
But is there an invisible hand that may be guiding that of Netanyahu? Who has gained the most from instability and rancour in the Middle East? Oil is still there beneath the sands.SeaBirds
ParticipantBill Bonner in fine form:
“Iron walls, ghetto life and who benefits from forever wars..
“According to the Israelis, Hamas fighters are “human animals.” Israel’s ambassador to Germany, Ron Prosar, called them “bloody, thirsty animals.” (English is not his first language.) And here’s Nikki Haley, candidate for the White House:
“This is not just an attack on Israel – this was an attack on America. Finish them, @Netanyahu.”
How the attack by Hamas had anything to do with America has yet to be explained. Then again, the US frequently gets involved in foreign wars. The Great War 1914-1919 was no attack on America…nor did Vietnam or Iraq have any plans to attack America. Nor did Russia. Or China.
But how the hate gets around! Once again, it is the bad guys against the good guys. And if it is unclear to you which is which, you are not watching the news. Or, you are guilty of ‘moral ambivalence’…or treason. You’re expected to choose. Americans, with God whispering in their ears, know which hate crime they prefer. Marco Rubio:
I don’t think there’s any way Israel can be expected to coexist or find some diplomatic offramp with these savages …
You can’t coexist. They have to be eradicated.
…
“It was 80 years ago that Jews were confined in their own ‘autonomous areas’ (aka ghettos and concentration camps). They often had no hot water in the Warsaw ghetto; people were dirty, underfed. Their Nazi guards (many of whom were “Askaris”…Ukrainians!) said they were “subhuman.”“The Jews of Warsaw fought back against the Germans, but only when it became apparent that the latter intended to exterminate them. They fought for a month…then, they were eradicated.
As for the Palestinians of Gaza, their fate is still undecided. There are many in Israel who say they should be “removed.” Ron Prosar, quoted above, said the policy had gone from “containment to eradication.” Whatever it is, the US war machine will be there to help.”

We’ve enjoyed the Monets lately, particularly when listening to the likes of ‘l’après-midi d’un faun’ and ‘oiseaux tristes’ etc. The river scene today seems appropriate to the first alarming articles in today’s lineup. The dying summer scene with its soft light and first russet colours seems to equate with the sun going down on Europe as we’ve known it, and come to love it over the years. But for now, France is still a beautiful country.SeaBirds
Participant@V Arnold
Agree re today’s masterpiece. I think that of all the outstanding artists presented to us on this site over the years, Aivazovsky is our favourite. It kind of resonates with Tchaikovsky et al, and Russian ballets like Swan Lake where romantic backdrops set the scene. Top of the bucket list is to visit the Hermitage, but I wonder that we’ve missed the chance. We can always dream of ‘next year in St Petersburg’.
V Arnold, we also agree that the Celticbiker ‘sums it up’ correctly, without beating about the bush 😉

ParticipantHere’s a poem written by my uncle describing the 6th of August 1945
At the time, he was a teenager holidaying in remote coastal New Zealand.Helena Bay
Helena Bay, first bay over the hill:
In those gone days, steep and gravelled,
Twisting down the precipitous valley,
Testing the driver’s skills.
We came in an old Fiat truck;
Careless of pot-holes and ruts:
We came to our little family bach,
To the beach, to fish and swim,
On August the sixth, 1945.While we unloaded the camping gear
We turned the wireless up
And there — in remote Helena Bay
The news leaked out in crackled words
Of the maiden flight of Enola Gay
And “Little Boy” tucked-up in the big bomb-bay/.
How history changed that dayIt left me worried for the world:
For the girl I had not yet met.
And the waves washed up the gravelled beach
At Helena Bay — and the tide sucked back.SeaBirds

We’ve missed your articles, but the efforts you put into the daily news roundups is greatly appreciated. And particularly the accurate perspective you’ve given us on the war over the last months.@JohnDay #135635

Participant@Aspnaz,
Basically agree. We notice two particular billionaires are missing in the line-up. We still maintain the thought that the biggest crims of them all are those that control the MSM, their worst crimes are the lies/crap that they feed the minds of innocent, naive, but often well-meaning humans. It casts a darkness over all the tragedy encompassing the world in which we (try) to live.
But try to live we shall. We just removed ourselves from NZ, beautiful prison, and returned to the UK. No regrets! We’re off on our cycle to the Netherlands tomorrow with a new tent, not worried about the cold, or the useless and corrupt EU running the place, have a good array of vitamins, John Day’s protocol, recommendations from Germ. We’re fairly sure that Putin and friends have a full handle on how to play the game.
Thanks Bosco, if you’re there still, we jumped the fence and got off the round race track.

ParticipantGERM ‘The bodies are dropping all around us’.
These incidents are being reported ad infinitim in the UK media.
It’s as if ‘they’ are confident the constant stream of death headlines is becoming accepted as the norm by society. – There are people dying, and you better get used to it….. And now the latest on the countdown to the coronation.France: Patrick Lawrence
Another brilliant take on France. Thanks RIM.
‘The French retain an idea of themselves as members of a community’
They are united in opposition to tyranny.
Dr D: ‘ – like they want France and western governments to be discredited and fall’.
People are being downtrodden like ants. It’s terrible, but also inspiring, to follow any evidence that can miraculously be gleaned of the French doing their damndest to stand up to their oppressors. Again, Vive La France!Sanna Marin

Just read where the scorpion hasn’t been the only one ‘scuttling for cover’. Chipmunk caught in the headlights when the indefatigable Sean Plunket of The Platform asked him how he would define a woman. Chipmunk nervously said the question had come ‘slightly out of left field’ for him. ‘Wasn’t expecting that question so it wasn’t something I’d pre-formulated an answer on’. Pathetic. Apparently hadn’t read up the woke answer book. (RT doesn’t miss too much).

ParticipantFrance. Great article.
‘The autocrat is separated from the people only by a police line’.
And how long before the enforcers, (police, army) turn against their owners? Isn’t this what really needs to happen? And don’t forget the performance of the French résistance during the war. They act with élan, they don’t just yap ; ) Yeah, and there’s plenty to be wild about.
Vive la France! ‘Le jour de gloire est arrivé’.BTW we reckon to be jumping on that raft pretty soon, and guess where we’re headed?

ParticipantA good in depth analysis showing the complicated manoeuvres and positioning of big players on the world stage. What a conniving rascal is Lula, like Erdogan. Do things begin to appear slightly stacked against Russia? There again, it is a battle for the hearts and minds of Africa, where I wonder that many have traditional Christian values, along with intuitive mistrust of the Big Pharma poison. It will be interesting to see if Korybko gives his take on where currently South Africa places itself in the grand scheme of things. Thanks RIM for posting this, it helps us to think, and try to gain a better understanding of the way things are playing out. It’s a maze.

ParticipantYes, Lavrov is brilliant. So are all Putin’s lead team. It even includes beautiful women. But this day my mind is on Putin himself, – after watching the video clip posted yest by RIM of his short interview re the visit to Mariupol. It was interesting to watch his demeanor. – He exudes confidence, brilliance, determination, conviction, charm, decisive and clear diction (even though I don’t understand a word of Russian). And, as Trump once said, – great love for his country. The young guy interviewing was transfixed and in awe, IMO. No wonder Ms Nuland obviously loathes him to distraction. Here surely is one leader to begin to restore some sanity to the world. I agree with AFWKTT, Putin is one of my very few true heroes.

Participant‘The New Worldwide Financial System/Banking crisis is upon us.’
Greed, fueled by excessive debt, was never reigned in. The proverbial can was kicked down the road, year after year. It was just too good of a ride, – for everyone. The one time most powerful woman in the world said some years ago that ‘debt is not the answer.’ (A.M.) She was scoffed and ridiculed like a dunce in the corner by the financial ‘experts’ and their mouthpieces. Just look at the mess they’re in now.

‘Should you get another booster?’Well the Kiwis are still being fed the line. The lead in yesterday’s Herald:
‘What to know ahead of NZ’s next ‘big boost’ against Covid 19,’ accompanied by yet another close-up of a needle being jabbed into some woman’s arm. A full blurb followed re the updated ‘bivalent’ booster available for ‘eligible Kiwis.’ They even had the cheek to add a pay wall to the article. Sickening.SeaBirds
Participant@aspnaz #132012
Yep. China and Russia also need to complete the castration exercise by removing the dollar’s reserve currency status. Wealth begets power? – which leads to the bluster, arrogance, even petulance that we’re seeing as it comes under threat. Their God also says ‘Thou shalt not covet thy neighbour’s goods,’ and, ‘Thou shalt not steal.’ Russia is not theirs, even if they do want/need access to its vast wealth, having blown their own.

Here in NZ there is no deposit protection scheme whatsoever. It was abolished around a decade ago. There was some hue and cry at the time, but it was quickly brushed under the carpet.SeaBirds
Participant‘So. Daylight Savings… is not a bank?’
Well, we can see why the US leads in the race to the bottom
with people like this calling the shots.Moodys reduces its outlook on the entire US banking system to negative. Wow! No wonder others are doing their damndest to distance themselves from the fallout. The space between the rock and the hard place seems to be getting pretty tight for J Powell. Asian markets in turmoil. – While Bloomberg leads with the drive to use the Poles to keep ‘Putin’s war’ alive, and latches onto the Credit Suisse CEO stumping up his best BS to keep his bank alive. Mini Mike twitching a little? RT Business section is a very good place to follow the banking crisis.
Denninger: ‘What was featured in the stupidity of 2008? Allowing the banks to run with no reserves.’
Why not cut to the quick? What about the failure to ring fence depositors? Wasn’t zero/paltry interest on deposits enough ‘punishment’ for those who preferred to eschew debt and save/manage their own money rather than hand it to fund managers to gamble with. What a bunch of fraudsters, the entire financial system is a fraud and a scam. They could be staring down the barrell at a whole lot of very unhappy people, – on two main counts, if more start to absorb GERM’s and other messages available courtesy of he who now controls Twitter.
Thank goodness for ‘frens,’ wildlife, and advances in long lense photography 🙂

Christ 2024 Save AmericaWell someone needs to. Must admit to much chuckling reading your first post, and can identify somewhat, having been raised in a strict religious household. What finally got me was certain ‘preacher men,’ up on their podiums, stroking their egos as they pontificated, admonished, coerced their captured flock by manipulating their fears and emotions. You could make some connection with the politicians of today. – Ardern and cohorts, spinning vakzine BS every day, – the staring eyes, willing people to believe the spin, to trust their leadership.
@DBS But I can still accept that Christ’s teachings are for the good, have stood the test of time, and if truly upheld, the world would be a better place.

ParticipantVon der Leyen – ‘Get her out’
Isn’t she just a puppet, a dainty ‘fashion plate’ dancing to the tune of the big guys. The entire former Eastern block needs to break free of the EU shackles. But it’s all about debt, no? They’ve jumped on the ‘growth’ bandwagon, sucked off easy EU/German cash. Just sensing that there is some desire to follow the Hungarian lead, (or maybe just wishful thinking.) They’ll all know that any stepping out of line will be met with colour revolutions. Stronger leaders with integrity are needed. Where are they? Only the old guys know the score.

Covid origins.
All true, but these issues are also diversionary, when what should really be hitting people in the eye is GERM’s well placed following comment re ‘The Death Vaxx,’ – a topic to be skirted around by the propagandists.
Noting also Peter Hitchins huffing and puffing in the Daily Mail re the UK covid leadership charade, the wrecking of the economy, shredding of liberties, the frenzy of superstition and terror, etc etc, but no mention whatever of SDS, the excess deaths, destruction of immune systems. -
