First the DNC is a private club (and you ain’t in it!). It is free to set it’s own rules.
The DNC is also free to change the rules in the middle of the game! It has been doing this like, forever!
As such, there is nothing Democratic about the DNC! It is as Democratic as is the communist party!

Observing China’s response to the coronavirus one can’t help but notice the predictable manner in which the CCP has reacted.
The CCP stays in power via it’s police state. Whenever the CCP sees anything that it perceives is a threat to its power, it’s first reaction is to deploy it’s police state.
The coronavirus was perceived to be a threat. The CCP quickly deployed it’s police state.
The number of people that die is basically irrelevant. Staying in power is the only thing that is relevant.
So if you are a hammer, everything looks like a nail!

About modelling. I studied electrical engineering. We used mathematical models to predict how our electrical circuits would work. Then we would build the circuit and obtain real world results.
Normally variations between calculated results and real results were small i.e. less than 10% and often less than 5%.
The differences were mostly the result of electrical circuit component tolerances.
The thing is, our models were constantly checked against real measureable results. This brings a measure of confidence in one’s modelling abilities.
However, the same level of confidence can not be obtained when modelling intangible things!
First there is nothing to measure! Then there is no way to measure intangibles!
Thus there is no feedback mechanism to verify one’s model!
Economic models are a case in point! Their dismal modelling is pie in the sky!
Climate models are another example of terrible modelling that inspires little confidence!
Now these medical scientists who tried modelling the coronavirus are very smart people! At least they admit their modelling is full of assumptions! Change almost any variable and you get dramatically different results!
What I find alarming in their modelling is how changing certain assumptions doesn’t alter the outcome! That part of the model is really useful for us to know!
That is why we need to remain wary of what our government is telling us!
When it gets serious they have to lie to us!
So all we are left with is watching what actions our governments are taking.
They are quarantining people for 2 weeks for now.
I think we will soon find out that 2 weeks of quarantining people is insufficient time to stop the spread of this virus!
Another thing we are finding out is people need to be tested multiple times as often the first test is negative!
When it comes to the coronavirus, despite being a rather mathematically challenged engineer, I still believe, rightly or wrongly, in the power of compounding!
I will first admit, central banker’s NIRPs, shook my beliefs in the power of compounding severely.
None-the-less, since central bankers now appear to be pushing on a string, my faith in the power of compounding has risen somewhat, because I am now dealing with communist beaurocrats!
Beaurocrats, communist or not, live only to stay in power tomorrow! This test ensures I am actually dealing with only positive power of compounding math!
As such, I recommend adding a “ZERO” to all “Official” government numbers to obtain a resultant number!
If any further doubt remains, I highly recommend multiplying the resultant number by a suitable “fudge factor” number to obtain a proper power of compounding resultant!
For example, to calculate the actual death toll, multiply 500 by 10 = 5000 then multiply by a fudge factor of 5 = 25,000 dead! See it works!
P.S. I here by attest that this mathematical model has actually been tested in over 30 countries including communist countries!
I know most people can’t believe the DNC would use an ACME app that doesn’t work to count Iowa’s votes.
That is not the case!
The American designed Shadow app worked exactly as it was supposed too!
The real Iowa results were hidden in the shadows of a back alley!
And nobody is talking about the real results either!
I would say the DNC got excellent value for their money!

Obviously without serious treatment the death toll could be as high as 25%!

When it comes to the coronavirus what most people are missing is the lack of availability of tests to confirm cases.
Ijt isn’t just China! It also applies to the west too. We have very few test kits available!
That China’s medical system is over whelmed is no surprised. They are so over whelmed that they are simply leaving everyone to their own devices! Just go home and die!
Anyone who dies is automatically cremated no questions asked. Basically if you die outside of a hospital then you are not counted in official death totals.
So we know the official death totals only include those officially confirmed which are greatly limited by the lack of test kits.
I seriously doubt our medical system could cope with such great numbers either.
I am beginning to wonder if Joe Biden is now in political “free fall”?

When young I spent summers on my Grandfather’s farm in southern Ontario since summers up in Labrador were non-existant!

Another creature that we have helped greatly speed up their evolution, is the super coyote!
We never used to have coyotes in southern Ontario. Now they are everywhere including downtown Toronto! (On a side note, there are no longer any ground hogs left!)

I find it rather amusing watching Hillary always blaming everyone else for her repeated failures.

So the US and Mexico continued bilateral trade talks until reaching an agreement.
Being polite neighbors, Mexico informed Trudope 48 hours before they were going to sign the US-Mexico trade agreement!
Trudope had 2 bad choices created solely of his own making! Sign or be left out!
He signed in 36 hours!
To this day most Canadians have no idea what happened because Trudope controls the media.

However you might not be so inspired if you knew how they do it. Basically they conscript every male in the area! My wife saw a message from a local Chinese woman saying her elderly father was being forced to work long hours on building this hospital. When these people can’t continue, they force replacements.
Also diverting enormous resources to building a building does nothing to help fight the spreading virus! It is nothing more than a “Oh, look at the squirrel!” we are doing something even if it is the wrong thing to be doing! Aren’t we great!
Imagine if these same enormous resources where used to help deal with the virus instead what could have been done to help the local people?
Instead of building a new building, how about setting up beds in existing large buildings to immediately help the local people? And direct outside medical personel to staff these temporary emergency hospitals?
No, of course not! That might actually work! That is just too easy!

I was raised in northern Labrador near the tree line. Winters were long (October to May) snow from September to June with few hours of sun. So I know first hand about what the shortage of sun does to one’s body and mind! Everyone from Norway, Sweden, Finland, and Russia can verify this too!
One thing you never hear about is the use of phototherapy. Specifically UV B light.
I built my own dual 6 foot light fixture to fit neatly behind the bathroom door out of the way and I do a full body 5 minutes every night before I go to bed.
I have been doing this for just over 2 years (3rd winter) now. Since I started the phototherapy, the one thing I have noticed is that I no longer have a craven for sunlight! Of course the main reason I do this is to tame my eczema (dry skin).
When you first start only do 1 minute the first few days. It is like getting a mild sunburn. Look for some slightly pink skin! When you no longer turn pink increase the time exposure. Then increase the time to 2 minutes for a day or two, then 3 minutes, 4 minutes, then 5 minutes. After reaching 5 minutes it then depends upon how you feel whether to keep increasing the time. Your body/mind will tell you how much is enough!
The special UV B light blubs are made by Phillips of Holland. In Canada they cost about $150 for one 6 foot tall bulb. You can get smaller sizes too. Check Phillips website for available sizes and nearest dealer. Commerical units are greatly over priced! All they are, are nothing but glorified ordinary light fixtures!
I made mine for about $400. All you need, in my case, are; eye protection goggles, 2 UVB light bulbs, a timer, an electronic ballast, and 2 pairs of light blub end caps. It helps to be an electrical engineer!
If you don’t want to build you own unit then you should be able to buy shorter light bulbs that should fit an ordinary 4 foot ceiling light fixture. Get one with it’s own on/off pull chain then you don’t need to buy a timer either! Use your phone as a timer instead. In Canada an ordinary 4 foot shop light fixture runs between $25 to $40. I know everything in Europe costs more!
Years prior to this I built a small solarium so I could sit in the sun during the winter months. It was the only way I could afford to go south during the winter months. This didn’t work so well during December or January as that is when we see little sun here in Toronto due to the clouds plus shortest daylight. Just like in Holland! Lots of clouds but no bloody sun!
Anyway Raul, I would give serious consideration to getting yourself a UV B light blub! It doesn’t need to cost you an arm and leg either!
Don’t be like me! It took me 64 years to figure this out!

I have often wondered about the purpose of the common cold.
Someone once told me that there are over 20,000 different cold viruses. I don’t know if this is true or not, but I have probably suffered over at least a 100 colds in my life so far. Maybe 200?
My theory for colds is this nasty pest is somehow necessary to either test or boost my immune system from time to time to be ready to prevent something more serious.
Flu’s and pneumonias probably do the same thing except brutally they cull out the weak the way wolves cull weak and sick deer to keep the herd healthy.
During the winter months I do not go out very often which helps to reduce my exposure to other 2 legged monkeys. I try to remember to wash my hands after ever outing. Those seem to be the only two things within my control.
Meanwhile life goes on.

Googled it and it looks like you were the unlucky receiptent of a 50% chance of getting a recessive Gene from one of your parents. Likely your luckier siblings didn’t get it?
Well on that genetic lottery issue I can relate also!
I am the lucky receiptent of a 25% chance of receiving a recessive gene from “both” of my parents. Both my brother and sister are fine.
I have what they call Ushers Syndrome. Most people only get RP (retinitis pigmentosa) in the eye. Ushers just means both my eyes and ears are affected (i.e. double bad).
Retinitis pigmentosa (RP) causes vision lost in the eye starting with loss of peripheral vision as the eye cells attached to the light receptors in the eye slowly die off and continues inwards towards the center of the eye, creating tunnel vision, until all sight is finally lost (the window closes).
Luckly I have the slowest type of Ushers Syndrome. Most People with Ushers Syndrome are blind and deaf by their twenties. I still have a few degrees of vision left in the center of my eye. This remaining tunnel vision is why I can still read for now but someday that too will close.
In my younger days, I did managed to travel and see the world. Saw 44 of the US states & about 30 countries.
The biggest problem I face right now is the poor resolution of what I am seeing, so often things appear very foggy. Whether I am well rested or tired greatly affects my vision too. Yeah they took my driver’s license away about 15 years ago!
Of course I am as deaf as a bat but surprisingly I can still hear better than my deaf wife. My 23 year old son and 19 year old daughter appear to both be fine.
Basically I got all the crappy stuff genetic wise. In addition to Ushers, I got also got cronic nose bleeds, severe allergies (food & environmental), and severe eczema or dry skin. The allergies caused cronic red rashes/hives all over my body making “itchy” my middle name!
A couple of years ago my brother heard about phototherapy on the radio in Detroit while driving into work at GM. Yeah, he gets to crash cars into the wall as part of his job! But it is a very stressful job.
So I investigated it, it was too expensive, so then I built my own UV B light fixture for $400 and that, after 64 years of living hell, has made my skin behave itself! So I am no longer tortured by red rashes and eczema now. I typically do 5 minutes a night just before going to bed. Too bad I wasn’t able to figure this out long before but then none my doctors or specialists in Toronto could either!
So for that I am very grateful my skin is no longer torturing me every minute that I am awake anymore.
Well, I am glad your move to the coast with it’s increased humidity and likely milder more even temperatures has help you cope better with your HHT. Since it is a cronic condition learning to cope better is all the help that is available. But often we suffer greatly before finding coping solutions.
Such is the struggle of life!

When I was a kid, I lived up in northern Labrador where the winters are long and the air cold and very dry. I had blood vessels too close to the surface of my nose, so I suffered constant nose bleeds for no reason at all. The doctors said there was nothing they could do for me until I grew up.
My nose bleeds were so bad that my Mother, a nurse, would pack my nose with 5 foot long narrow strips of cotton coated with vasoline just to stop the bleeding! They stayed there for days before being removed.
When I was 19, studying electrical engineering in Toronto, my uncle, a doctor gave me a referral to a nose specialist.
I remember that visit very well! The doctor used the medical equivalent of an electrical soldering gun to burn the skin over the blood vessels! I got to smell my own burning flesh!
Then after I recovered from that surgery (felt more like a butchering job!), I stopped having so many nose bleeds! Those that I did have stopped as quickly as they started!
Now I was a free man, no longer burdened by constant fear of sudden nose bleeds!
I did several follow ups every 5 years or so where the doctor did quick 10 second touch ups using a Q-tip dipped in a mild acid on any trouble spots.
Now 45 years later, I remain basically free of nose bleeds and remain forever grateful to that doctor for improving my quality of life!
Bosco, from what you say, I guess lasers have replaced soldering guns and acid Q-tips!

My Father served in a jury for a murder trial. Oddly both the defendant’s lawyer and prosecutor had agreed beforehand the defendant had committed the murder, so the jury’s only decision was it manslaughter or second degree.
The trial started Monday morning after jury selection. During a break, for unknown reasons, the judge let slip he was looking forward to go fishing the coming weekend.
Thursday morning the procecutor and defense nicely wrapped up their arguments. For the jury reaching a verdict would be quick.
Rather than have the jury begin deliberations right away, the judge dismissed the jury for the day!
By doing this, the judge manipulated the his court schedule so he wouldn’t have to start a new trial Friday morning and could get an early start to go fishing.
My Father, an engineer, was decidedly angered about his valueable time being needlessly wasted.
Friday morning the jury met for what they and the judge thought would be a quick easy verdict since the murder case was not complicated.
Well, my Father was so pissed at the judge that he hung the jury 11 – 1 all day Friday!
This forced the judge to order the jury to reconvene Saturday morning to continue their deliberations.
Saturday morning came and the jury quickly reached a 12 – 0 verdict in less than 5 minutes!
The judge was royally pissed! Not only did he not get to leave early Friday morning to go fishing, he had been forced to cancel his fishing plans so he could work Saturday!
Yes, the judge knew exactly who the trouble maker was! An engineer!
The funny thing is this type of behavior was so unlike my Father! I still shake my head in disbelief that he would ever have done such a thing! But then again the judge had pissed my Father off! I think my Father was rather proud of this!
Schiff had 3 plates of spaghetti.
Not knowing what to do with them, natuarally being who he is, he threw them at the wall to see if any of the spaghetti would stick.
Sadly all of the spaghetti slid down the wall onto the floor.
Now the walls and floors of Schiff’s House are a steaming mess!
