I often feel like I need to burn incense when reading comments here. This is especially so for the past few months. Most of the time I only skim them, if not completely ignoring them. So I have a strong sense of where T-Bear is coming from.

However, I do have a suggestion that I was hoping Ilargi would have made by now. Or perhaps he did, in his own way, and I missed it.

Please refrain from posting your entire blog posts here. Just mention when your posts are up and invite those that are interested to go to your site and then you all can talk spirituality and the like until the cows come home. To incessantly replicate them here in their entirety and on a seemingly daily basis is very gauche, imho.

    @VP

Quite often, you come across as particularly sanctimonious. Are you aware of that? Or maybe that’s your point? Anyway, I would ask that you contemplate further who has the superiority complex?

Just speaking my mind, one cent at a time. Don’t care who agrees or disagrees with me on this.

Well, there you have it Chooch. Russia doesn’t censor minority opinions. But they use stupid former military “experts” to dissect events, just like we do here. There are 3300 tv channels in Russia! Stop trying to find the needle in the haystack of propaganda on both sides. Opinions are like a**holes, everyone has one.

Just telling it like it is.

Dear Ursula, you are dead wrong

Long ago, large fuel-consumer yet very fuel-poor Europe (Franz) married super fuel-rich Russia (Natasha) and together soon happily parented plenty of babies that have now grown-up and crave for Natasha´s delicious food.

So the whole European über-successful export-based business model was conceived, designed, built, operated and developed on the basis of the cheap and plentiful ´Russian fuels´ premise. That is why every EU government has repeatedly failed to find the architectonics — let alone effectively construct — a realistic energy strategy that does not depend exclusively on Russia´s capability as an EXTRA-ordinary and reliable commodities exporter, most specially fuels. Europe´s economic success has always been based — and continues to be — in having available abundant high quality Russian energy with the enormous advantage of smooth Druzbha pipeline 24x7x365 door-to-door delivery.

    Exceptional article from Robert Bridge.

Viktor Orbán, the Man Who Could Save the European Union From Itself

Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orbán would be the perfect candidate to lead the European Union through this moment of ideological darkness, and I suspect the majority of Europeans, if they were actually given a chance to speak and vote their minds on the issue, would agree.

I concur my friend. The US and NATO exemplify Hannah Arendt’s “banality of evil”.

There is a companion piece written by Declan Hayes that brings us back to the future:

Will Finland’s Warrior Women Cross Russia’s Kola Rubicon?

Seems that NATO has many, many plans to achieve the original objective. Even wokeness!!

Excellent interview with Bruce Gagnon. Leopards don’t change their spots.

Bruce Gagnon: I often share the story about Lakota warrior Crazy Horse and the military-industrial complex that existed in the late 1800s. Crazy Horse and Sitting Bull were brought onto the reservation in South Dakota. They only surrendered to the U.S. Army because their people were starving. Washington had sent snipers on trains to ride across the western plains and shoot any buffalo they came in contact with. They decimated the herds. The hearts of the native people were broken – they saw the evil enemy they were facing in the flesh.

The U.S. Civil War ended in 1865 and the Indian Wars soon after. The military-industrial complex was worried about its future. They had artists make renderings of Crazy Horse supposedly back on the warpath.

Newspapers in the big cities across the U.S. printed stories about Crazy Horse raping white women and killing children. Soon the public was led to express their outrage and “the people demanded something be done”. Doesn’t that sound familiar? The Congress in Washington immediately swung into action and appropriated more funds for the Indian Wars – while Crazy Horse and Sitting Bull were sitting on the reservation in South Dakota without a gun to their name.

This story has been repeated legions of times since – leading up to Afghanistan in 2001, Iraq in 2003, Libya, Syria, and now Ukraine. And the public relations script coming from Washington is always so familiar.

    Dimitri Orlov:

There is no easily discernible difference between Russians and Ukrainians: same culture, language, religion and history. As a state, the Ukrainian Soviet Socialist Republic is a failed state; as a territory, it is part of Russia. Therefore, an all-out attack on the Ukraine would be essentially an attack on Russia itself. Apparently, Roberts feels that Russians should kill millions of other Russians in order to impress the West. That’s really cute, you know, in a genocidally maniacal sort of way, but completely impossible.

Read the whole thing. Does Paul Craig Roberts like Genocide?

Thanks for the clarification re: Overton Window + TAE. For sure the topic of conversation has changed dramatically since the time I first started reading here. That’s 2008 off the top of my head, but I’ve been following daily since then, without fail. In any event, the topic of conversation has changed with the times. And the times they sure are a’changin.

I’m still not sure what you think is worth your time and effort to divulge here or not. Do you have a completely different way of interpreting events?

Thanks V. Arnold. I was just conversing with my closest friend who happens to live in Hat Yai about the lessons of history and the value of life. We’ve been having this dialog for 50+ years and I can say that we both have figured it out but simply can’t explain it.

All we can do is pay attention, absorb what is factual, and add it to the library. But what is factual? That’s the rub isn’t it?

I’ll know by the responding comments (if any) whether or not this forum remains useful enough to those other urgent needs that I can afford the time and effort, going forward, to participate on TAE very much at this time. Don’t get me wrong. I love you guys and the work you do, especially Raul. You are all beacons in a dark night, and The Automatic Earth a firm rock to stand upon. Ilargi is a true hero. We all owe him a debt that can only be repaid by keeping the forum a lively and truthful place to share ideas and information.

I certainly agree in principle, however I have felt for some months now that comment sections of blogs are just another form of social media, and sadly, not a forum in the truest sense of the word. Just reflect on all the word salad posts bosco used to make that tried almost everyone’s patience, not least that of Raul, the blog owner. Raul is one of the greatest humanitarians I have come to know in my life and I have never met him. I come to TAE because of Raul and his sincerity.

So I’m not sure what you mean by the “overton window” of this blog and how is it shifting toward “reality”. That is the whole purpose of Raul’s efforts and has always been that. I am a lifelong counter culturist and dissident. I am 75. I have a long held understanding of spirituality as it applies to me. I have serious doubts as to whether anyone else here, or any other blog, would buy into it and I don’t care. In fact, I don’t even want to debate it. It works for me and that’s all that matters. But even if I felt I had some kind of supreme insight, I wouldn’t share it on this blog or any other existing blog. I would only pontificate about that stuff on my own blog. Ymmv.

Sorry for the duplication of links.

The military conflict in Ukraine is not about a narrow conflict between Ukraine and Russia. It is but the outward sign of a bigger confrontation between, on the one hand, the U.S.-led Western order and, on the other, nations like Russia, China, and others who refuse to accept a subordinate role. Our interview with Bruce Gagnon this week elucidates the bigger geopolitical picture and what is at stake.

A sure sign of the bigger dimensions is the way the U.S., NATO, and European allies have rapidly deployed a total hybrid war on Russia, in an attempt to destroy the latter’s economy. The Western claims about “defending democracy, sovereignty, and international law” are contemptible and fraudulent. By funneling weapons to a repressive, corrupt regime whose military is infested with Nazi regiments?

No, the U.S. and its Western allies are using the conflict – one which Russia assiduously tried to avoid by making reasonable appeals for security treaties with NATO – as an opportunity to crush Russia. And it’s not simply about crushing Russia. It’s about crushing any challenge to the Western order. That inevitably involves confrontation with China and others who seek to defy the “Washington Consensus”.

    @VietNam Vet

Please listen to this conversation with Scott Ritter and then tell me that you still stand by what you wrote. Russia has no designs on “conquering” anyone, including the Ukraine. And as Ritter talks about towards the end of the conversation, NATO is years away from being ready to take on Russia directly. And that is assuming it can be economically possible to that in the first place. Ain’t gonna happen, imo!

The “rules based” nations of the world (USA and it’s lapdog countries) are putting on the greatest charade ever staged. There isn’t a single “leader” in any of those countries; they are all insiders carrying out their individual roles. But the military experts, especially in the Pentagon, know what the situation is. And Ritter points to one Bill Burns as the man they will rely on to end this stupidity in the most advantageous way. Victoria Nuland, Jake Sullivan, Susan Rice, Anthony Blinken, et al are screwing the pooch in innovative ways but are not fooling most of the world.

I worry less about Nuclear Conflict (although there is a real chance that could happen) than I do about who, in our political landscape, is going to manage the vast amounts of flotsam and jetsam that will be present when the jig is finally up with these disgusting bastards. Daniel Craig has retired from “007” and the West will be right behind him. Good riddance.

This is an excellent article from Pepe Escobar The Total War to Cancel Russia Lots of food for thought,

The stated aims are “demilitarization” and “denazification” of a future neutral Ukraine – but geopolitically reach way beyond: the aim is to turn the post-1945 European collective security arrangement upside down, forcing NATO to understand and come to terms with the concept of “indivisible security”. This is an extremely complex process that will reach the next decade.

    Zero –

I like Cynthia Cheung a lot. She is a terrific writer and researcher. One huge red flag about the dying Empire of Lies and Hate is that it absolutely disdains the catalog of history as it really happened. Canada suffers from the same affliction. The original sin in both countries is their histories dealing with the native inhabitants. I also think that might apply to New Zealand and Australia as well but I’m not that well informed about their histories.

Anyway, I like to think that if there are solutions to our current problems, they lie in the cumulative history of humanity. I’m pretty sure that is the way Putin sees his SMO. He understands history and the stuff that Cynthia Cheung is writing about in that piece.

As a side note, I live in an area with lots of retired military folk, and a bunch of country guys that did their “duty”, And yet, I have not heard a single person saying ANYTHING in support of whatever charade is going on in DC. I sense the growing recognition that regime change is needed in this country asap. I’ve overhead several people talking about the 25th amendment. I think there is a correlation there that, at least in these parts, people are not buying the propaganda. Do you think the CIA is doing any internal polling on that subject?

    Michael Hudson on April 04, 2022 · at 2:47 pm EST/EDT
Andrei, you’ve picked up the usage of Empire of Lies, but I think a better term — or at least a parallel one — is Empire of Hate. it is hatred that enables one to feel that he or she can lie, because it is all for a “higher” purpose: working out one’s own psychodrama.
The hatred is not only from one’s personal experience, but from long-lasting feuds. It may be the Holocaust, leading to a hatred of Germany, or of the history of one’s family’s suffering from anti-Semitism — a hatred of Russia going back via Stalinism to the tsars.
it may be the Irish hatred of the English. Bobby Kennedy said that he loved the Irish because they were “good haters.” Herman Kahn quipped that they were one of the ten lost tribes of Israel for this quality.
Or it may be a hatred of people who fight back when you try to rob them. Fighting back is an attack on your RIGHT to steal, to impose your mentality.
the Neocons hate anyone who resists their self-reighteousness. it is much like the Roman Catholic hatred of Protestants in royalist France and other European countries.
Hate is the mother of lies, their legitimizer.

Oroboros posted a video the other day providing evidence of possible interaction between the mRNA “vaccines” and 5g technology. There was a lot of compelling information presented but many will no doubt question the veracity of what Eric Callender said.

Lew Rockwell has a video today that looks at undiluted samples of the vaccines under a microscope and shows a lot of activity and what appears to be self constructing circuit boards.

With full chain of custody, both doctors obtained sealed, undiluted vials of the Pfizer product. In the video, the solution almost appears to be “alive” with swarming particles.

With full chain of custody, both doctors obtained sealed, undiluted vials of the Pfizer product. In the video, the solution almost appears to be “alive” with swarming particles.

Dr Shelton heated the solution up that of human body temperature (98.6ºF/37ºC) and these crazy branch-like structures began to form. “How horrific is that?” says Dr Ruby.

Both doctors filmed similar scenes of these particles forming into what look like small circuit boards over the course of several hours. These rectangular structures have been seen emanating from the round, shiny “dots”, as Dr Ruby calls them.

The video is just 20 minutes and the evidence is mind blowing.
