    @zerosum

    Serious question: Why are you posting, with prominent excerpts, those propaganda pieces? Do you agree with their characterizations, and clever bias?

    Some here, including myself, gave up on Naked Capitalism a long time ago. But that was due to policy measures on commenters more so than the articles themselves. At least that is my belief/

    Anyway, there is an article up today that makes so much sense, in so many ways, that it should be shared.. Or maybe I’m being over dramatic. I’s still worth a read.

    The World Could See A Record-Breaking Oil Supply Shock

    Ukraine, it seems, drove the country head on into this hoping to draw the west in. It sounds as if Putin might be satisfied with simply wrecking Ukraine making it unattractive to NATO. Which means Putin could be looking for justification to simply nuke it.

    Point taken chooch, but it could be that Putin just means what he has been saying for years. Nothing more and nothing less. Of course circumstances may dictate tactical and strategic adjustments. But that doesn’t change the origins of the conflict. Check out Gonzalo Lira’s video over at the Saker. He and his family are in Kharkov and I think his analysis, especially as it relates to the missile attack that Oroborus references in a comment above, is the beginning of the end of NATO. Coupled with India making a trade deal with Russia; rupees for oil, and Saudi talking with China about a yuan for oil deal, the idiots and dottering fools in DC are freaking out over the existential threat to $ hegemony.

    All bets are off on how this will play out. The end result is a NWO of some kind.

    This analysis out of India is the way the less-propagandized world sees the Ukraine conflict.

    Exactly. What she said. China, Russia, someone needs to beat the shit out of these despicable idiots that are the US Government and it’s minions. I will not hold it against them, even if I survive.

    American patriotism pales in comparison to Russian patriotism. I studied Russian language, literature and culture back in the day, and after losing 3 years of my life during the Vietnam business. I hosted Russian students on exchange programs in my trailer by the lake. This was the early 70s, before perestroika and glasnost, but we were all young, inquisitive and out spoken. It was a revelation to me and I have never looked at the geo-political world the same way since that time.

    I posted this article late last night regarding pushback from the RCMP.

    I think it is a very encouraging development and deserves the wider attention that the author, Francis Marion, hopes for.

    We want to reiterate a point stated earlier in this letter, so it is remembered. If the people believe the government is continuing to censor experts, the country will fall into instability. We are experts in law enforcement and investigations. We are losing faith in the motives of our government, and we will not willingly participate in actions against people whose Charter rights and freedoms are being violated.

    Thanks for the link to the McCollough talk. He went the full monty in that one and it was so satisfying to feel the disdain in his voice. Let’s hope many of those medical professionals answer his plea.

    I’ve loved you from afar for many years now, man. We know who you ARE. But you are in a unique situation compared to most, if not, all of us. Please reconsider taking the moral high ground as a personal test. These (to quote Khun V) galoots need to be lampooned with their own legal conceit. I agree with T-bear.

    it will help greatly if we can get the police and military on the side of those opposing vaccination mandates. Without the support of the police and/or military what the parasites want cannot happen

    I linked to just that kind of demonstration planned for Niagara Falls, ON this afternoon. Hopefully, someone here will have attended and can give us a report.

    Michael,

    I’ve dressed many a small game when I was a teen. Later, I helped butchered some pigs and cows with my then father-in-law. Long, hard and demanding work. I found that drinking ample amounts of home brewed hard cider made the task more enjoyable. But a moose? That’s a big critter.

    Review: “Unanswered Questions: What the September Eleventh Families Asked and the 9/11 Commission Ignored “ by Ray McGinnis

    A timely book review by Ed Curtin. I had read a few days ago that the 911 families had requested that Biden not attend this year’s memorial service. But I’ve heard that he plans on attending anyway. What a touchhole.

    I should add that I would have voted for RFK had he been allowed to live long enough to campaign. Along with so many other things happening at that time, and my time in the Army, the idea of tuning out and dropping in made more sense to me.

    @chooch

    Thank you so much for that link to Dissident Voice. That is a powerful, (but righteous) condemnation of the US Government not only since 911 but really since its inception 240 years ago. And in line with what Trivium said earlier in this thread, there’s plenty of evidence out there in support of the obvious conclusion.

    On a personal note, I am proud that I have never participated in a national election. For a long time I just never found any candidate worthy of my vote, but since shrub’s “election:” I came to realize that it’s all kabuki anyway.

    It’s a race to save humanity. Will it be Pfizermectin or Modernachloroquine that comes to the rescue? Given the lead headline at Bloomberg, it’s also a breathless race against time:

    Huffpost, Salon, Talking Points Memo, Politico, et al. are the print/online version of Rachel Maddow. Collectively they represent the “progressive” alternative to Rush Limbaugh (rip). This is a very tough slog to piss into the wind with the truth against the mighty Wurlitzer gale. But I am reminded of something quite optimistic that Leonard Cohen wrote:

    There is a crack in everything. That’s how the light gets in.
