Anyone read anything about Fuellmilch? I see a Dutch entry that claims he took $700,000 (50%) from a class action fund he started, but that’s all i see.
This map makes very clear what the referendums this weekend are about. All of southeast Ukraine. They will be hotly contested. But as I wrote earlier, the numbers will be between 80% and 95%. And if you can’t win that, you will have to label the referendums themselves undemocratic. The EU had some of those, in France and Holland, about a new EU constitution, and made them disappear.
Once Russia has these 4 regions, they will move west and include Odessa. Then Ukraine will be landlocked. It will get ugly.

Real estate is a grey field. What’s a building, a development project worth? Everyone exaggerates and/or downplays where it suits them. The higher the numbers involved, the more they will do it. Same as you and everyone else, on your tax filings.
That no lenders have filed cases, and Trump has not spent time in prison, should say enough. The lenders know this is how the business works. People like Tribe and Laetitia James do not.
When you apply for a loan, lenders want to know what assets you have as collateral, and what the potential is for the project. It’s just business. If you try to cheat them, no loan for you.
If you do not understand this is how the industry works, it’s easy to convince you that it is all corruption and cheating.

As for Laetitia James’ case vs the entire Trump family, I haven’t seen any details, but I betcha it’s about what everyone in real estate does, certainly in NYC. That is, exaggerate property prices where that is handy, downplay them where the opposite is true. It may not be 101% legal, but 102% of property owners do it. How big a loan can I get? X. How much interest do I want to pay on that loan? X-Y. It’s what everybody does every day of their lives. Just, in NYC real estate, you’re talking large numbers. It’s not a real estate thing, it’s anyone trying to sell anything, it’s business. I have a real fine poodle here! What’s worth? $1,000! How much does it eat? Hardly anything, don’t worry.
And nobody ever brought it up until they figured they could use it against Trump’s re-election campaign.

Aug 31, near the top of the page, there’s a photo of Reagan with – I’m pretty sure – Gorbachev and Bush Sr. Why? What does this picture mean – no caption, not associated with any article, why is it just tossed in there? Then further down the page is a picture of a younger Putin and Gorbachev and someone else. Also not captioned. I know Gorbachev just died, but I’m not sure if these photos are supposed to be important for some reason..

Sept 2, near the bottom of the daily line-up, there’s a photo of a newspaper clipping from a German (?) newspaper. “GEA-ONLINE. Umfrage – sind sie zufrieden mit…”. Maybe a poll taken in Germany? Under the photo of the clipping, there is a line written in English, “ ‘Are you happy with the Chancellor’s work?’ Find the trick.” Hmmm, might be easier to find the trick if I knew what this clipping is and what it says.

Today, under the Calvin and Hobbes cartoon (which is not attributed, btw), is a partial map of the USA. It would appear that the highlighted parts are the rivers that feed into the Gulf of Mexico.
Calvin and Hobbes attributions are always in the pictures. The map displays the mighty Mississippi and its sources and tributaries. And how much of America the muddy waters serve. They all feed into the Mississippi, not the Gulf of Mexico. Only the Mississippi does.
I feel like I am taking a Rorschach test here lately.

What struck me about the Rogan/Zuck clip is 1/ that he did it in the first place. What’s to win? But even more 2/ how confidently he explains these highly controversial practices. Like he knows he has nothing to fear. Rogan could have pushed much harder too.

Not a lot of wittiness in the comments on your post. People were actually inspired to discuss the topic. There are a LOT of comments.
Sounds good. Had a look at Google Analytics earlier, first in months, I don’t really follow those numbers. Bounce rate is 26% (very good) and even with those 1 in 3 leaving as soon as they come in, session duration is 4.41 min. That makes me proud. People stay here on average almost 5 minutes. Which means they’re actually reading.
ZH used to post many more of my articles -our link goes back 14 years!- but I also used to wrote many more articles. But from Feb to Jun, my upstairs neighbor jackhammered an entire marble floor away, which meant I could not be here. At the same time I could not be anywhere else either, b/c full lockdown for unvaxxed.
One day maybe I will understand how I did the Debt Rattles anyway each day, and how I kept myself from beating the crap out of him. At first, it’s noise, but after 10 days or so, it’s torture. Add 12 weeks. All I want is to forget it, but he’s still hammering away from time to time.
Anyway, TAE seems OK. We could try to make it bigger, but then people might try to go after us. We’re not exactly following the official line here.
