    Raul,
    I have been hoping you would augment your news aggregate with one of your essays, and in this you did not disappoint.

    I follow the Ukraine situation mainly through the words of the Saker, Pepe Escobar, Mike Hudson, Andrei Martynov, Scott Ritter and others who present the “other” view. As such, I was reading your take above and was impressed that you seem to read the same aforementioned analysts. I am looking forward to the AE community’s comments as they often have additional perspectives to factor in.

    Thanks for this Easter present Raul.

    @V. Arnold
    “ I read your Debt Rattles…every day…completely…and am overwhelmed by the information…
    It’s so much easier to comment on the art; which I do love…
    …the world gone mad is so disturbing as to be uncomprehensible at times…
    and you always grab the meat of that insanity…
    Keep on keeping on; you’re needed as a ground in this insane world………“

    Sir, I had to comment. You NAILED the feelings I have about the madness this world continues to progressively slide into. The corruption seems everywhere and so blatant. I find the judiciary’s corruption most worrisome as the hope that malefactors will find justice dissipates like the morning mist.

    And Dr. D, hats off to you. I loathe hypocrisy and you have Olympic medalist cred documenting it day in and day out! How do you stand emotionally to reporting on such depressing news ?

    I ramble. Bottom line, thanks to Raul, Dr. D and the other fine commenters on this fine blog.

    Cheers

    Raul,

    I thought I had mis clicked when the first pic I saw was the fresco one. It looks exactly like the emotional appeals sent to my wife’s email to demonize those dastardly Russians.

    My point to her is simply, “ and where was this painter for the past 8 years ?”

    Yes, of course, ALL CHILDREN ( and innocent civilians) MATTER and are equal. It just seems some children are more equal than others.

    And this of course is at the core of American ( and the “ west’s” ) exceptionalism and blatant hypocrisy that drives me bonkers.

    Whoa. As found on the Sakers blog, ANOTHER seismic economic event ( in addition to Robo’s noted undermining of the petrodollar ) ….

    Sitrep : Sanctions and quite major economic news

    Less than 3 months into 2022 and some BIGLY world altering events unfolding.

    in reply to: Debt Rattle March 7 2022 #103713

    Kassandra,

    From what I have read, in times of asset bubbles you need to preserve wealth by holding your wealth in something that will rise when the bubbles are burst. That rules out stocks, bonds and real estate. With the Fed having to choose between pumping air into stocks OR bringing price inflation down for the Hoi poi little folks, who do you think a cable of bankers will choose? So the dollar will be sacrificed….

    Hence what these experts suggest is the old standby gold and silver. Problem at the moment is that with the events of decline speeding up, more people are moving to these life rafts.

    For your consideration at least.

    @Dr D,
    Appreciate your ability to cut through the BS and get to the reality of the situation, it certainly augments Raul’s choice of articles from around the world.

    I too use this map to try and explain “ the other side of the coin” to wide eyed, thoroughly propagandized friends and relatives. The other two pictorials used is the one showing the NATO/American bases surrounding Russia and China, and the one listing the various American interventions in other countries— be they coups, election meddling etc.

    With these 3 pictures, there is some chance of begrudging acknowledgment, and an opportunity for them to explore deeper into the rabbit hole via questions. At least that’s my experience so far.

    in reply to: Debt Rattle February 28 2022 #103150

    Raul,
    Thank you for the diagram showing NATOs expansion since 1997.

    For social harmony, my ( inflexible liberal minded wife ) insists I endure the chattering of friends and family as they express their emotional distress and animosity over the situation in Ukraine, all of which comes from the CBC and other “captured” ( imho ) mainstream media here in Canada.

    There comes a point however when my conscience insists I RESIST and offer that it’s more complicated than the MSM presents, and in fact I believe we Canadians, being the enthusiastic sycophants to the Empire that we are, share some of the blame.

    Enter your visual representation of NATOs offensive movement for support, as referring to text, as in essay of Luongo, the Saker, P.C Roberts, C. Johnson or Orlov guarantees glazed eyes.

    We’ll see how it goes today, as I can guarantee it will be raised in conversation…..

    I adore Calvin and Hobbs, have all their comics in collectible books and such.

    So when Tom Luongo used Calvinball in his analysis of the geopolitical playing field, I was in there like a dirty shirt.

    Putin Ushers in the New Geopolitical Game Board

    And in truth, I think Mr. Luongo makes a whole lot of sense. The game is changing.

    Raul —- wow, hats off to you and a spectacular AE today. My ( intolerant liberal ) wife was aghast that as her beloved CBC screamed, Russia had invaded Ukraine and was bombing civilians Willy nilly. How dare I be a Russian apologist! I quietly and calmly tried to give her the basics of why, but your choice of articles today is a far better guide. Not that she will read them. Sometimes I dream of a “clockwork Orange” sit down solution for the deeply propagandized.

    …. and Dr. D, you knocked it out of the park yet again!

    Thank you both.

    Further to the discussion of Trudeau’s 180.

    A Major Backfire – Is the Canadian Financial and Banking System in Serious Trouble as a Result of Their Attack on Private Bank Accounts?

    I think the crypto crowd will pay special attention to the sentence “ Worse yet, the short-sighted Canadian government via Minister Freeland announced their ability to control cryptocurrency exchanges in their country and block access … .”

    in reply to: Debt Rattle February 22 2022 #102461

    … always been willing to make sacrifices to neonazis….

    Well, many disagree ( reading Saker.is blog ) . The EU are viewed as captured poodles of the US and do as they are told, all grumbling aside.

    The war Biden needed was to further enhance this political and economic bond to almost slavish levels, buying their energy at twice the cost as what Russia would charge — hence keeping the impending everything bubble from popping.

    At least that’s one working theory.

    in reply to: Debt Rattle February 12 2022 #100874

    @Dr D,

    A tip of the hat to you sir. I am constantly amazed at the breadth and depth of your insights and comments. Still have your head as you master the lower depths of the rabbit hole.

    I don’t know how you can keep it all together knowing just how slimy and evil the truths are down there. The hypocrisy, duplicity of one group and the sad moronic, unthinking acceptance of reality by the other.

    Sometimes I just find it so depressing. Kudos Dr. D — and other sharp commenters here on AE!

    in reply to: 2 Predictions #100676

    Wes,
    My guess is a private poll that showed most Ontarians are like my dear wife — trusting of governments, white coats and following orders ( an elementary teacher of the left-ish sort ) As you know, big election coming up.

    I will be a LOT more active searching out candidates who don’t know-tow to the medical based apartheid response to this pandemic.

    in reply to: 2 Predictions #100671

    … yowsa, politicians sure are predictable.

    In my Ontario, the ( nominally conservative ) premier, Mr. Ford has decided that it is time to DOUBLE DOWN on a losing hand.

    How you ask? Why by freezing Givesendgo funds of course!

    https://www.zerohedge.com/political/ontario-premier-orders-givesendgo-freeze-funds-anti-mandate-protesters

    The unravelling continues.

    “ Still, if you combine vitamin D with zinc and perhaps IVM, your chances look much better than with 3-4-5-6 boosters. But, you know, if that’s what you want, go for it. Ditto for face masks, and lockdowns, etc. But with what we know today, there is no reason why anyone should dictate any of these things to you. You’re not any safer because of them.”

    Bingo!

    Thanks Raul, a great essay.

    It’s great to see my contention “ go for it” if your personal analysis of your risk/benefit deem it worthwhile — but don’t force me to surrender my personal body autonomy for this “product” spelled out.

    in reply to: Debt Rattle February 5 2022 #100074

    Please pardon my incompetence…. but how can I share the video on Covid Raul has commented on as “ unmitigated disaster” ?

    in reply to: Debt Rattle February 4 2022 #99956

    Why would Trudeau push/sell a product even though the mounting evidence shows it is neither safe nor effective, even in his own personal experience?

    Hmmmm.

    Some of my friends suggest it is because he is a puppet of Soros and the WEF Build back Better! imperative. The young future leaders of the globalist future.

    While not ruling this out, I tend to believe in the old “ follow the money, who benefits” motive. How many millions of shots has he committed us Canadians too? Did he make a deal whereby a drug company promised to build production facilities in Canada ?

    I’m sure a good investigative reporter could ferret out those facts ……

    in reply to: Debt Rattle January 15 2022 #98126

    @dmitri

    Yes! I too have wondered this. While to me, here in Canada ( where we are trying our best to out idiot our fellow commonwealth countries in draconian over the top Covid responses ) I am going to wager that such a suggestion would be rolling on the floor laughed at !

    It provides yet another way to get some “juice” in a recalcitrant persons body.

    The beatings will continue until morale improves you malignant human slime buckets. Following the “SCIENCE” !

    @John Day

    Thank you for drawing the attention of TAE readers to one of THE key stories ( the other is the impending financial collapse part 2 ) worth paying attention to, imho.

    As I include TAE in a must read category for the pandemic theme, I highly recommend the Vineyard of the Saker’s blog ( theSaker.is ) for the Geo – political must knows.

    For what it’s worth.

    in reply to: Debt Rattle January 7 2022 #97262

    AE community,

    I am wondering if you can point me in the right direction. You see, here in Ontario, if you contract the virus you are to remain isolated until it is safe to re-enter social situations. Fair enough.

    However, our prov gov’t has set a 5 day quarantine for those contracting the virus who are vaxxed and a 10 day quarantine for the ( dirty ) unvaxxed.

    My hope is that, given the mental resources brought to this blog community, someone can point me to the scientific ( REAL SCIENCE ) paper(s) that validate this discriminatory ( imv) diktat.

    Thanks in advance friends.

    in reply to: Debt Rattle December 31 2021 #96638

    Wow.

    As a Canadian, I am embarrassed our (recently re-elected) leader has shown the world his true colours, and by association the majority of voters’. It gives fuel to views that we are a country of polite, woke obsessed, Covid kool-aid drinking lemmings.

    Combine this with our sycophantic cheerleading of the dying Empire’s geopolitical agenda ( especially in neo-nazi Ukraine) and it becomes a sad indictment of the slide we are experiencing from a once respectable freedom loving country.

    Mind you, we seem to have company in fellow ex commonwealth sister countries like New Zealand and Australia. Sigh. So sad.

    in reply to: Debt Rattle December 11 2021 #94980

    Hmmm. Is it just me, or does anyone else wonder why the stats from England are not relative to the proportion of the population in each category of the experiment ( treated vs control ) ? I’m no math guy, but I would prefer the “per 100 000 “ numbers .

    Naturally, if both groups are the same size these raw numbers can be taken at face value I assume.

    AE community,

    I am trying to nail down what I thought I read on this forum way back — that kids were contracting Covid from adults at home but NOT the source for said adults— is backed by research.

    Health.Harvard.edu has this to say “ Though the studies varied in their methods, their findings were similar: infected children had as much, or more, coronavirus in their upper respiratory tracts as infected adults. And a November 2021 study conducted by Harvard researchers again confirmed that children carry live virus capable of infecting others.“

    Am I missing something? The last word is “others”. Is this vague on purpose? Does this mean adults or not?

    If you can help me out with a recent study that answers this question I would be most appreciative. It forms the core of those I have talked to who willingly offer their children’s body for the experiment, regardless of adverse effects warnings.

    @sumac.carol,
    Thank you for the info and link. It gives me hope that all is not lost in my compliant, sheeple nation of polite citizens so trusting of their “leaders”.

    Reading CJ Hopkin’s piece has pushed the idea that enduring and adapting to this slide is not enough. Passive resistance needs to move into a more active form lest the totalitarian wave affecting Austria, Australia, Germany etc. overwhelm our country.

    Kudos to these lawyers.

    @ sumac.carol

    Fellow canuck ( S. On ) here. While personally upsetting at times, I live with a “true believer” . Even though I am judicious in which articles I forward on and suggest they are worth reading, I have found them categorically rejected.

    To her it is all about credibility. If m info comes from the nightly news or MSM papers, ok. Otherwise it’s from the crackpot internet, home to all wacko theories and so forth. The government and their agencies would never lie or ignore the real science!

    Hello AE community,

    Seems I come hat in hand a fair bit. Here’s the latest.

    I have a friend who is a resistor and whose 23 yr old son is as well. However, in order to attend uni here in Ontario, he needs to submit to the jab ( or to a multitude of tests each time a lab is scheduled).

    My friend is asking for some compelling Covid research outlining the danger to this age group ( paper / links ). Does anyone here have a link they find fundamental to the logical/medical rationale for NOT getting the gene treatment ?

    I hope to compile 5 highly credible & persuasive links .

    in reply to: Debt Rattle August 7 2021 #82775

    Hellllllo AE community. Always helpful ( especially you Germ) so here is another question. It forms a foundational belief amongst my vaccinated family, and I suspect many others. Is it an indisputable fact that Asymptomatically infected individuals are prime spreaders ? Eg. One must stay well clear of anyone returning from a plane flight as they could very well be asymptomatic!

    @enginer,
    Was just reading up on the online 12mg tablet of ivermectin for sale from India. Their dosage notes the upper age of 64 years old. Further down it notes the reason is related to liver function issues.

    I am wondering if any of our community can speak to this?

    in reply to: Debt Rattle July 2 2021 #78787

    Hello AE community. I am hoping someone can recall one of Raul Ilargi’s highlighted articles that linked to a meta analysis of Ivermectin research.

    You see a close family member is in the medical fraternity as a ND and believes this meta analysis https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/34181716/ which they believe is saying “it does not have an effect, except in the 3 studies that were at very high risk of bias:”.

    I seem to recall a meta analysis study noted here that reviewed 42 studies worldwide saying the opposite.

    Can you help me?

    in reply to: Debt Rattle December 8 2020 #66584

    @ upstatenewyorker,

    Ok, I can see your not a blind Amurica! Right or wrong! kinda guy. Respect.

    Your statement “At the same time, any criticism of China is immediately labeled as xenophobic. Why is that?” is beyond my ability to verify or deny. I would suggest it has to do with the same reason that ANY criticism of Israel is immediately shrieked as anti Semitic.

    Both countries do things that they should be held accountable for instead of turning the issue of wrongdoing onto the person calling them out. Granted, racism does exist and the calling out should not have a basis in this nasty tribal human flaw. Imho of course.

    in reply to: Debt Rattle December 8 2020 #66579

    @upstatenewyorker

    “On the other hand, China has been given a free pass by most of the world for decades on, quite literally, everything they do.”

    With respect, that’s quite a ‘pot calling the kettle black” statement, with a huge dose of hyperbole. Quite literally EVERYTHING they do? Wow. I’m not naive, no country leadership can be considered saintly, but there is relativity to consider. We Canadians routinely turn our heads when matters of Indigenous rights to clean drinking water are brought up for instance.

    America is in a class of its own though. In a nutshell, BOTH sides of the aisle genuflect to the wants and needs of the MIC . And they NEED wars to make profits. And they keep the ruse going by needing to have Boogeymen to scare the public into compliance and support.

    Oh, the Russians, Syrians, Venezuelans will still be demonized no doubt. But the go-to devil is now the great challenger China. Sure there are some valid truths behind the “look at them!” narrative, there usually is. Not the point.

    Or maybe I have been reading too much Caitlin Johnson.

    Cheers.

    in reply to: Debt Rattle December 8 2020 #66571

    Re: Tucker Carlson ….

    Sigh. After 4 years of RussiaRussiaRussia! are the next four going to be a ramping up of ChinaChinaChina? I see it already from my ( Canadian remember ) Trump supporters. These are solid small c conservatives who are big supporters of Amurica!, John Wayne style. While I am not naive enough to think the Chinese ( or Russian for that matter ) leadership are saints, I do think my friends are so busy buying the trope of the exceptional nation they fail to see the moral stains obvious to many the world over — see the Obama article posted as an example.

    Hopefully, it’s not all just the world’s bully preparing its citizens for war as the challenger arises to alter the geo-political landscape in its favour.

    in reply to: I Am Julian Assange #40680

    Thanks AE for the article. To me, JA is a symbol of the slide we are barrelling down toward the nightmare outlined by George Orwell in his seminal book 1984.

    My suggestion is for the little people ( like myself ) who are aware to embrace an everyday campaign to raise awareness. I would humbly submit an iconic visual symbol ( such as the Che Guevara or Obama ‘hope’ ) be created to grace millions of T-shirts and stickers. We have to resist.

    We can’t in good conscious, let this key injustice be ignored and pass into the mist of history.
