Agreed 100%. Interesting you’re seeing this in a red state, but I guess normal isn’t normal anywhere anymore. Here in NY I’d be surprised if people *didn’t* start losing it, especially with our new governor being the way she is.
Every person in every country should be stockpiling nonperishable food if they are in any way able to do so. Forget about “not going into debt” and all that other BS that keeps honest people from taking advantage of a system that the not-so-honest use to their advantage every single day. Stockpile food. Stockpile any other essential items your family needs to get by. As oxy pointed out some time ago, this ain’t no dress rehearsal.
Cheer up, V Arnold. The first wave always catches us a bit off guard. Now we know what to expect with subsequent waves. If the no vaxx mandate/passport feel anything like I do, they’ve dug in even harder and will not fold. What started as simply “I don’t want your stinking shot” has turned into “F*ck you, no matter what I’m not giving in.”

This is an interesting ruling.
“A federal district court judge has rejected a claim by the U.S. Department of Defense (DOD) that the Pfizer-BioNTech COVID-19 vaccine being administered under Emergency Use Authorization is interchangeable with Pfizer’s Comirnaty vaccine, which in August was fully licensed by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA).
In an order issued Nov. 12 in Doe et al. v. Austin, U.S. Federal District Judge Allen Winsor of the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Florida denied a preliminary injunction requested by 16 service members against the U.S. Military’s COVID vaccine mandate. A hearing is scheduled for Sept. 14, 2022.”
The two vaccines are not interchangeable, but it’s permissible to deny the injunction and schedule a hearing 10 months in the future.

No, of course I don’t believe it will be televised. But people as a whole are not as dumb, self-centered, lazy, and vacuous as you seem to think.
I believe that as time goes on the fallout will become apparent. Perhaps not to a small percentage of people who simply can’t change their minds, but a large percentage of people will begin to realize they’ve lost too many, know too many others who have lost too many, etc.
I don’t believe in the omnipotence of TPTB. Do you? If so, why?

Unfortunately, I think many, many, many lives will be lost. As WES already pointed out, life-threatening illness and shortened life spans are distinctly possible. This may not be overly apparent for months or even several years, but apparent it will become.

I don’t drink milk, but the homogenized milk statement caught my eye. Mostly when we start messing with a natural food product we wreck it so maybe wouldn’t write off Mercola’s concerns without more research.
It’s interesting because I find myself questioning the “case” made for homogenized milk being just as healthy as non-homogenized milk. Why? The studies themselves. I’ve lost faith in studies. 🙁

Ok, still entirely flabbergasted that anyone is defending the so-called vaccines that aren’t protecting anyone from getting and spreading a virus. Perhaps the so-called vaccines have a short-term reduction in seriousness of infection. (I personally question that but since numbers are flagrantly fudged, who knows).
But seriously, WTF are you thinking when you defend these things? Are you thinking of the 10s of thousands of vaxxed dead people? The 100s of thousands who can’t walk without falling over? Can’t talk? Can’t see? Can’t hear? Are stroked out and disabled for life? Dying of cancer prematurely? Miscarried babies? Women who bleed for weeks on end? Have serious heart problems? Life threatening bleeding disorders? Serious question, what are you thinking?
Darkmatter: please, enlighten those of us who are concerned about people we love who got injected. What is the long-term effect of these so-called vaccines on the human body?

Although I read the following info on the White House website a month ago and was aware of it, this is mind boggling. One has to wonder how anyone can state this while keeping a straight face:

Medical professionals in corp medicine aren’t looking for things like this or they would find it as well (such as the doctor who found elevated d-dimer in his vaxxed patients and was immediately censored).
There is a REASON why corp med has spent decades outright preventing alternative treatment providers from gaining a foothold. Here in NY, for example, a naturopath can’t be licensed and so can’t order blood tests, prescribe meds, etc. There has even been on/off talk of banning the use of homeopathic remedies altogether.
It’s getting easier and easier to see why corp medicine worked so hard to squelch alternative treatment providers, isn’t it?
The chiro requested blood tests. He didn’t PERFORM the tests. Is there some reason why, just because he’s a chiro, the results of the tests are invalid?
We shouldn’t jump on the corp med bandwagon by dissing alt treatment providers. After this debacle is finally dead and buried they may form the backbone of what we have left of medicine.

Oh, and one last “narrative” that I’m not sticking with. They are FLAT OUT doing Phase III trials of a novel experimental vaccine on hundreds of millions of people, including my family and friends. And, further, they are coercing people into that trial group, including children. If you aren’t pissed the f*ck off at this point and are still trying to “make nice” with this narrative, then you aren’t paying attention.
As Karl D points out, jabbing MORE people doesn’t shorten the time frame needed to undertake rigorous studies and bring a vaccine safely to market. It just screws over more people when it goes bad.

I’m not sticking with a narrative, I’m sticking with *real* science. Real science that has proven for at least two decades that we cannot develop a successful vaccine against coronaviruses, and that mRNA vaccines could not safely be brought to market. That’s not a narrative, that’s proven through previous [failed] studies. Yes, peer reviewed studies.
I also am sticking with “my body, my choice” and basic human rights that, here in the US, are afforded to us by the Constitution. That is not a narrative, that’s what this country was founded on.
Call it having “chosen a narrative” if you wish, but that’s not really what this is.
We need to stop playing around with language. We didn’t “choose a narrative.”
We also don’t TAKE a vaccine. That terminology started with covid vaccines. We always GOT a vaccine. How many times in the past did someone say to you, “Hey, did you take the flu vaccine this year?” Not once. They asked if you got the flu vaccine. You don’t TAKE something that is injected into your body. You TAKE an aspirin. There’s a difference.
Stop playing with language. Playing with language is playing the parasites’ game. Call things what they are.
Based on some of the comments around here lately I can see why we don’t hear so much from Deflationista anymore. She isn’t needed. Job done.
@Henry: the question about how many flu cases got “moved” to covid is fairly easy to see. Even I can do it. 😉 I checked in my county (460,000 people), which has a flu tracker website where you can compare years, etc. Luckily they no longer need to maintain the flu tracker website because flu all but disappeared when covid hit the scene.
The only problem with that scenario, kullervo, is that [at this point] too many people believe the pandemic was mostly theater. Yes, even here in NY. Despite all stores now recommending masks, most people don’t wear them. Outside of the PMC and devout covid fanatics, I don’t see people tolerating a strict lockdown again. It will also grow increasingly difficult to cover up vaccine deaths, especially if they roll out boosters.

Raul is absolutely spot on with his last two comments. We tried subtle, didn’t work, did it?
One of the people I know of who got cancer after the jab is already dead. Two months – diagnosis to dead. These things are TRASHING the immune system, on top of causing the body to generate toxic spike proteins throughout the body (quit kidding yourself on the deltoid muscle schtick we keep hearing – the body is a SYSTEM and no single muscle area is roped off from the system just because they say so).
And another thing … this idea that the heart issues following the jab can be viewed in the same manner as other causes of heart issues is very [very] short sighted. The CAUSE is entirely different with a jab. The OUTCOMES will likely be entirely different as well. Time will tell just how different.

This debacle will go down as the greatest tragedy in human history. At least to date. God knows what’s in store for us all next go ’round.
I know where some of our “missing” workforce is, btw. They refuse to be vaccinated, get regularly tested, or wear a mask 8 hours a day (NY is strict on this stuff). How they’re muddling through financially, I don’t know. But I have met some and they’re somehow doing it.

Anectodal: had lunch at a local pub today. First time eating out in months. Horseshoe shaped bar we were seated at. Woman around the corner from us, on the other horseshoe leg, wearing a mask while sitting there. Not kidding. How effing stupid.
A couple seated on our leg of the bar, next to our 3-person lunch group. The man kept sneezing. I kept saying “bless you”. (It’s a habit, what can I say). Finally turned into an ongoing joke between our group and the couple about covid, sneezing and [GASP, GOD FORBID!!!] coughing. Gobs of disdain, even in NYS, for the whole sh*t show. Gobs. There are a lot of us out here who realize the thing is effing stupid.
A dangerous game. Biden, Fauci, et al., need to be careful. They are playing with fire.
