Facebook stock drops roughly 20%, loses $120 billion in value after warning that revenue growth will take a hit

Nobody is selling at a 20% loss.
There is no loss until you sell.
    Buyers can’t find sellers.
How long will it take to regain 20%?

The problem solvers, for Julian Assange, are Putin and Trump.

    Not true!

You just add tariff taxes until you get enough revenues to pay off those debts

I’m listening to the comments after the Trump/Putin meeting.
All that I hear is ….

    CULLING

The word comes from the Latin colligere, which means “to collect”. The term can be applied broadly to mean sorting a collection into two groups: one that will be kept and one that will be rejected. The cull is the set of items rejected during the selection process. The culling process is repeated until the selected group is of proper size and consistency desired.

What organization will collect the tariffs?
    Where will the money go?

Why is the price of good going up, for consumers, when the goods were in the country before the tariffs were charged and collected?
Why are layoffs occuring before the tariffs are applied?
Will tariffs be applied to goods bought by individuals crossing the border. By Car?
    By plane? By cruise ship?

To reduce and avoid paying a tariff tax or a price hike
    1) do price checks- now
    2) find alternative suppliers
    3) Don’t buy the products with tariffs.

Do you believe that our social/economic systems are humanitarian?

    https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Humanitarianism

Humanitarianism is an active belief in the value of human life, whereby humans practice benevolent treatment and provide assistance to other humans, in order to better humanity for moral, altruistic and logical reasons. It is the philosophical belief in movement toward the improvement of the human race in a variety of areas, used to describe a wide number of activities relating specifically to human welfare. A practitioner is known as a humanitarian.

    Which is it?

Do unto others before they do it to you
    or
Do unto others as you would have them do to you?

Trump’s top economic adviser was against tariffs for years. Then he joined the Trump White House.

When Larry Kudlow signed off for the final time from CNBC’s “The Kudlow Report” on March 28, 2014, he left viewers with the same mantra he had repeated for years.

“Free market capitalism is the best path to prosperity,” Kudlow said.

Now, four years later, Kudlow is helping sell President Trump’s “unprecedented” tariffs, going so far on Wednesday as to call Trump “the strongest trade reformer of the past 20 years.”
Just three months prior, Kudlow was calling tariffs tax hikes, prosperity killers and the cause of the Great Depression. And 13 days before becoming director of the White House’s National Economic Council, Kudlow said Trump “has never been good on trade.”
You can watch lots of examples of Kudlow’s about-face in the video above.

Kudlow’s former colleagues also seem baffled by his transformation. In April, CNBC’s Jim Cramer asked how Kudlow’s views were meshing with Trump’s “nationalist” views, and CNN’s Erin Burnett asked whether Kudlow had “confidence” that Trump would “do the right thing” on tariffs.
And two months ago, Fox Business Network’s Stuart Varney, citing Kudlow’s penchant for free trade, asked whether he was “comfortable” in the Trump White House.
    “I am,” Kudlow replied.
