I don’t mind if Ivan kicks Uky’s arse , I don’t mind if Uky kicks Russia’s arse. I don’t mind if Russia kicks NATO’s arse and visa versa. Get it?
As I keep saying I am just adding a little balance to a very one sided group who have very deep seated bias against the West and are blind to any faults on the other side.
Poland is just one example of almost all the Eastern European countries that have joined NATO because they were raped by Russia not so long ago and want to band together for protection from the same happening again. I used the example of Poland but I could have used the example of a lot of other countries in the East.
    How about Finland for example.

    Winter War – Wikipediahttps://en.wikipedia.org › wiki › Winter_War
The Winter War, also known as the First Soviet-Finnish War, was a war between the Soviet Union and Finland. The war began with a Soviet invasion of Finland …

Russia is pulling down the Holodomor memorials in Ukraine , it reminds of the historical revisionism of BLM . Putin is rewriting history where Stalin is a really good bloke and every one should love and respect the man who starved six million Ukys to death so he could sell their grain for hard currency. They are denying their recent history , that don’t help the situation.

So can you see why it was so easy for the US to get Regime change in Kiev and why the majority of Ukys and the rest of Europe have no love for the Russians.
.Without this hatred and desire for revenge the US could not have triggered this war. The entire can of worms is a direct result of the Russian actions in Eastern Europe since they invaded Poland in 1940. If Russia had not occupied Eastern Europe and been so malevolent , the US could not have engineered the war, correct ? Do you agree? Only the Far East of Ukraine supports Russia , an estimated fifteen percent of Ukrainians
It is not to say Russia , Russia , Russia is a bogey man , it is not an anti Russian , pro NATO beat up , it is a simple statement of fact as to how the war was able to be engineered by NATO and why there will never in the foreseeable future be any love lost between Europe and Russia.
In Ukraine’s case it is all founded on Stalin’s treatment of Ukraine . I have already illustrated Poland’s case.
Russia has never atoned for it’s invasion and occupation of Europe , Germany has to a large degree.
The hatred between the Europeans and Russia will last for generations more unless there is a formal reconciliation process but both sides will have to want it. Until then I don’t expect to see any cooperation for a very long time.
So let’s see the Russians prove they have the capability and the stomach to take back their newly annexed territories there is no room for any more excuses.
As far as Australians fighting for Taiwan that is all hubris. We are an ally of the US and do their bidding. The US will not fight for Taiwan directly either , it will be a proxy war if it occurs. The anti Chinx sentiments are popular in Australia since the Chinx put sanctions on us for stating that it might be a good idea to find out how the Rona got started in China, it was not Taiwan related .
The real reason was that ASIO made some statements about the Chinx penetration of Australian politics and there political interventions in our Universities. They operate their own enforcement regime inside Australia against any anti Chinese persons , both Australian citizens and Chinese nationals.
You might have noticed our Deputy Prime Minister and Prime Minister in waiting is a Chinx and probably a CCP operative/sympathiser. They are very entrenched here and own huge sections of our economy. They are mercantile colonialists.

“Also Ukrainian history started 24 March, 2022. There was no history between 21 November 2013 and then. There was no NATO coup. Nuland never said “F–k the EU, we’ll put in our boy Yats”. It’s all in your mind.

Of course NATO replaced the Russian puppet gov with a NATO puppet gov , that’s not in dispute , is it? However it is pretty obvious now that it was and is a popular decision , the Ukys did not turn against the Kiev regime when they had Ivan waiting outside to come in and and back them up and they have definitely demonstrated on the battlefield that they don’t have any soft spot for Russia.
I can’t cover every fact , I don’t think there is enough space in the comments for that and definitely not enough time in my day.
I see that the Russians are pulling down the Holodomor memorials installed by Kiev , must be in denial huh?

    Funny link.
If Russia is what it claims to be then we should see them starting to push West right away. The need to have a fast decisive takeover of the annexed oblasts or their credibility of leading the new world order is kaput.
Agreed the state TV is the best barometer of what the people are thinking. Except I would bet a lot of folk are not happy with Putin and that will never be talked about openly on their shows. They are in the business of throwing shade for Putin , every one else is to blame but never the supreme commander.
    Take a break ol mate.

I know about churl drills ,the old timers used the hand held ones and the pneumatic airleg drillers still use a steel with type of cutting end , not a replaceable bit. The airlegs are pretty much gone now , those drillers were the real deal. All serious drills have used button bits for a long time now as long as I can remember. I mostly worked on what we call jumbo drill rigs underground, made in Sweden , electric hydraulic hammers , three to five meter steels with button bits. They have one two or three booms , wheeled with diesel power for tramming and 1000 v for drilling 50 mm holes about forty in a standard face about five by five meters.Gel primers and ANFO charges , electric dets and green cord with a Beethoven to fire , or the battery on your pickup if the Beethoven got lost or run over! Black powder fuse in my early days , alway exciting.Too many hydraulic hoses on those rigs for this old fitter , we used to be making and fitting hoses non stop. These days they are all bought in ready made , still gotta unwrap all the hose bagging fit the hose and bag it all up again, shit work but that’s where we all started underground. ’83 in Siberia , wow that would be something!

You forgot to mention this bit.
Expansion of the Soviet Union from 1939 to 1940[edit]
Main articles: Molotov–Ribbentrop Pact, Soviet invasion of Poland, Territories of Poland annexed by the Soviet Union, Occupation of the Baltic states, Soviet occupation of Bessarabia and Northern Bukovina, Winter War, and Moscow Armistice
In 1939, the USSR entered into the Molotov–Ribbentrop Pact with Nazi Germany[25] that contained a secret protocol that divided Romania, Poland, Latvia, Lithuania, Estonia and Finland into German and Soviet spheres of influence.[25][26] Eastern Poland, Latvia, Estonia, Finland and Bessarabia in northern Romania were recognized as parts of the Soviet sphere of influence.[26] Lithuania was added in a second secret protocol in September 1939.[27]

The post containing the facts about Polands treatment was not to say , “Poland good,Russia bad” , it is to illustrate how we got here.I could post facts about other countries that lived under communist Russia , there a quite few of them!
Yes Poland has done it’s part in previous wars too ,Europe has been at war for ever and will always be at war for ever . The world has always been a bloody place and always will be.
The point is in the latest round of aggression and violence in Europe , WW2 , Russia took over the role of aggressor and occupier from Germany and did not let go of it’s occupation of Eastern Europe until the 80’s and finally it all ended with Russia falling apart in the 90’s.
The point is that in Poland and other Eastern European countries people lived under Russian control and persecution and lot of those people are still alive and still remember it . It was not fun for them. It is not ancient history, any person who was born in Poland or any other Russian occupied countries in the 60’s and 70’s lived through it and still alive now , inshalah.
So why do TAE folk have such glorified views about Russia and Putin?
Western Europe only escaped the same fate as Eastern Europe because they allied with the US. Comintern was a real thing, it was Russia’s plan for global domination.
Is is any wonder that NATO was formed after the war and that most of Eastern Europe wanted to have an alliance with the US and Europe as the memories of the Russian occupation was and still is very fresh in their minds? Is it any wonder that NATO expanded to Russia’s borders? Did not the Eastern Europeans cooperate willingly in that expansion for their own protection?
Do they still harbour resentment and suspicion of Russia? yes . Does Russia still hate them and want to dominate them? Yes. Made for each other!
Germany seems to have made it’s peace with Europe since it’s defeat , Poland still wants more reparations but did Russia ever make any reparations or apologies or convene any reconciliation talks to try to reconcile for their enslaving Eastern Europe and dilute the hatred that still simmers , I don’t think so.
In fact Putin has the described the dissolution of communism in Russia as a disaster and wants all the old Soviet territories back. Europeans know that. Well so did Germany after WW1 and they went to war to get it and more and Russia has to do the same, that’s how it works.
Crimea and the ethnic Russian parts of Ukraine were ceded to Ukraine by the then Russian communist dictator at that time , legally. It was not annexed by Ukraine.
So to take it back means war , that is what is happening. The SMO and talk of Nazis etc. is just cover for rebuilding the Russian empire and to make what is a war for acquisition of territory look like a humanitarian action , they have learned from the West!
Why any body would think that an alliance between the communist dictatorship in China, the Schitso rocket boy dictator in North Korea who starves his people to feed his nuclear war fetish, a fanatical religious dictatorship in Iran who treats their people no better than the US puppet Shah, did plus South Africa , white murdering , corrupted to the core racists and other sundry misfit countries that are in constant social and economic drama , why anybody would believe with fervour their hegemony is going to be any way superior or better than the present hegemony is beyond naivety bordering on stupidity.
People on TAE seem to be obsessed with the idea that once all of the folk in the West are starving , freezing , without any energy and reduced to dying enmass that the world will be put right again and peace and love will reign forever ,( laughing inwardly.)
Russia is already sanctioning the West , it has it’s military in Syria , Libya , Africa and Venezuela and that will grow as they gain power. China is already sanctioning Australia , and militarising the Pacific ,and that will grow as the West weakens , so it will be the same old shit with different actors , no real change.

As for climate change the climate has always changed and always will , change is the nature of a phenomenal world. Are humans most likely influencing that change? Most likely. Can that be proved beyond any shadow of a doubt ? Not likely. Will the concept be used by elite groups to enrich them selves? Absolutely.
As for Western collapse that you all seem to be pining for, if you get your wish and you ain’t prepared it’s gunna hurt if you don’t have a stand alone solar powered place. Remember those old black and white videos of European refugees pushing hand carts about , wet and cold and miserable?
Well that is going to be you if you are not prepared. While you push your handcart around the countryside hunting and gathering old mate with his solar system will have lights, refrigeration , (preserving food is paramount for survival ) transport and communications . No need to abandon the house , go and get your shit by vehicle and come back home to the hearth. Guns will be required to keep the unprepared from trying to take you over , but that will apply all around. Having weapons will be of ultimate importance. So if you get your wish and you ain’t done nothing to prepare…….best dig your own grave ’cause only the best prepared will survive.
The townies will be in very deep doo doo as they will be out on foot without shelter trying to find food. Having some acreage in the country with game , wood and water will be very advantageous , couple that with your solar energy and you are looking good. Mind out what you wish for now.

and is the West fucked up to some degree? Well yes but shit can always get worse.

Sun is out , birds are warbling , grass is growing , critters are eating it , we eat the critters.

    Featured snippet from the web
The Soviet invasion of Poland was a military operation by the Soviet Union without a formal declaration of war. On 17 September 1939, the Soviet Union invaded Poland from the east, 16 days after Nazi Germany invaded Poland from the west.

Why did the Soviet Union invade Poland in ww2?
The “reason” given was that Russia had to come to the aid of its “blood brothers,” the Ukrainians and Byelorussians, who were trapped in territory that had been illegally annexed by Poland. Now Poland was squeezed from West and East—trapped between two behemoths.

How did the Soviets treat the Polish?
Soviet soldiers often engaged in plunder, rape and other crimes against the Poles, causing the population to fear and hate the regime. 50,000 members of the Polish Underground State were deported to Siberia and various other Soviet Labour camps.

How many Poles were killed by the Soviets?
From 1945 to 1948, the Soviets deported to forced labor or concentration camps in the Soviet Union from 3,000,000 to 6,000,000 Poles, of which 585,000 may have died. Hundreds of thousands and possibly near 1,000,000 Poles were killed in Soviet terror and repression.

How long did Russia occupy Poland after ww2?
The struggle for independence continued on Polish territory until the 1950s while the last known partisan was killed by the occupying Soviet forces as late as 1963.1 Oct 2018

When did Poland get rid of communism?
The 1989 Round Table Talks led to Solidarity’s participation in the 1989 election. Its candidates’ striking victory gave rise to the first of the succession of transitions from communist rule in Central and Eastern Europe.

What did Russia do to Poland?
KAKISSIS: Poland has a traumatic history with Russia. The Soviet Union, an ally of Nazi Germany in 1940, invaded Poland. The Soviets imprisoned and murdered the country’s entire officer corps and then blamed it on the Germans.9 Mar 2022 estimated 20,000.

The last. Russian troops left Poland in 1992.

“Majority owned by the Russian government, the bank is headed by an ethnic German named Herman Gref (Hermann Gräf in his native tongue), a member of the World Economic Forum’s board of trustees and also a member of JP Morgan’s International Council.

Gref played a key role in the creation of Sputnik V—key really being the key word here. He even claims to be one of the first people in the entire world to be injected with Russia’s flagship clot-shot, two months before Phase I trials started.

In September 2020, Gref decided he wanted to branch out and create SberEverything.”

The Russians go full out big brother on their school kids . The Rona scam has provided the perfect window to create high tech facial recognition and movement monitoring program.

“How it will work in the school year: the child puts a magnetic key on the door to enter the school grounds, then in the hall he goes to the turnstile, which identifies the student. The same Face ID system measures the temperature of each visitor and only allows them to go to school when normal. If the temperature of the child is elevated, the parents will be called and asked to take them home. Now a mechanism is being worked out, with the help of which parents will be able to monitor the child during the day, to observe his movements.”
“A secondary school in Moscow took a similar route to ensure public health by purchasing a state-of-the-art “thermographic complex.”

The facial recognition system can monitor multiple people at the same time, allowing administrators to “promptly find a [suspected biohazard] in a crowd of students in order to send him for an additional examination or contact his parents to pick him up.”

I am sure the Chinx will say all of the appropriate things to try and maintain their facade as a responsible global power.
I agree they are not fully on board with Putin’s little adventure in Ukraine. Xi-bear has some rather big problems on his plate having bought the Wall st./FED playbook into China and blown the largest property bubble in world history. The printing presses have run hot for a couple of decades and trying to withdraw from that drug is difficult and dangerous even for such an exalted emperor as Xi.The last thing he needs or wants is for the cash and tech flow from the Golden Mountain to stop , it is definitely not in his interest to see the US and the EU laid waste economically.
China is a merchantile phenomena which relies on endless trading of subsidised goods to overseas customers using an artificially weak currency.
The problem of a billion poor weighs heavily over him because any closing of that glimmer of light for them down the economic tunnel is death for him and his cronies.
I was in Jakarta when the Asian economic crisis hit and saw the mobs burn the government offices and Toyota and Mercedes dealerships down , Suharto was gone in about two weeks. As soon as the poor realised that their dreams of economic progress were in danger , that they would not soon be riding a honda instead of a bicycle, they acted with such overwhelming violence and in such numbers the gov was powerless to do anything to stop it.
Xi is steering a similar boat and must keep the economy steaming and expanding so those poor still believe that one day they will make it out of poverty and own a high-rise apartment or two. This is the mandate of the CCP , make us ALL rich ….or else…..
So the loss of the Western economy to China’s merchantile class is something he wants to avoid. Hence his warning that Russia should not expand the war into Europe and damage the Chinx businesses there.

I always suspected the Russians were a bit different and these vids from the state tv are confirming that.
Have you ever noticed what a black hole Russia is for the West? How many Russians do you know? How many Russians have you met and enjoyed a conversation with? How often do you see Russians on tv?What do we really know about the Russian people? I have never met a Russian in my entire life, ever! Yet so many from the West have adopted them as the hope for the world’s future , Putin is a god for many Westerners . I myself was also enamoured but the spell has been broken.
I once saw a group of Russian tourists at the Taj Mahal in India around ’83? They were acing like a bunch of school children just released from class and I guess they were like that having just gotten out of their confinement in the USSR. They were so excited some were doing handstands for their friends to take photographs! Imagine Ivan back in Moscow showing his photos , “and there I am doing a hand stand in front of the Taj Mahal”… makes sense , not.

Anyway I would love to visit Russia to see what they are really like but I guess I would have to somehow wipe my entire online history or maybe I get a fast bus to the front , “here is your hand grenade Redneck , the pin is already pulled!”

“If Redneck’s entertainment is to get their goat, it’s working like a charm. And all he has to say is, Russia isn’t perfect. However, what’s your prediction for what will happen if Escobar and Lira are all wrong?”

I am not a troll in the real meaning of the word. If my goal was to send every one here into hysterics I would just post memes and vids , why spend so much time at the keyboard? I do admit to having a few giggles when folk are severely triggered but that is not my intention.
I am old and experiencing cognitive decline , it gets harder and harder to do this especially with this clunky user-unfriendly format , maybe time for an upgrade Ilargi? I could trigger many crew here without spending so much of my precious time typing with two fingers .
I may as well take this moment to apologise to those who I have not replied to here , I am pressed for time, I have already spent too much time here today , being a keyboard warrior is not my first priority.

The Ritter Duran crew have been wrong right from the start. Duran and co. ran with “this is not a war about territory ” for one example . If it is not a war about territory why would Russia have annexed not just the two Eastern most Oblasts but also the two south-east ones as well? Yes because they are supposedly saving ethnic Russian lives ,yes so the fact is this war is about territory , it is about expanding Russia’s control over their old Soviet areas , “making Russia great again”.
What are my predictions? I don’t really have any , I don’t know what is going to happen and I don’t think Russia or the West knows either. I think this war is very dynamic like most wars are and adjustments are being made on the fly as one would expect.
I think that Russia blew it in the very first weeks when they were there outside Kiev . Apparently Zelenzky left the country and I think the West were thinking that Kiev would fall politically and militarily and that Russia would blitzkrieg the entire country and take control.
The fact is Ivan and the Chechens got hammered in the Kiev airport and surrounds , they did not get any military to change over to their side and had to leave, it was an intel failure and also they never had the military capability to take out Kiev and the other major cities any way because they were making the big move on the south east , Mariupol , at the same time.
In retrospect they should have flattened all the major cities , turned all the infrastructure to rubble and just driven their tanks into the smoking ruins but they probably did not have the capabilities to do that either. Ukraine is a big country with lots of infrastructure , to take it all out without nukes is a big ask. I don’t think there is any military in the world that could do that without nukes. Anyway they have to conserve some ammo in case NATO becomes more active and involved , right?
    So what happens?
The biggest change to the situation is the annexation of the four Oblasts. That has put Putin in a very difficult spot. It gives him the legal cover for full on war which is partly happening through the increased missile strikes but now he has no way back from taking the lost territory and the still yet unconquered territory. That HAS to be taken and held indefinitely as it is now mother Russia. He also craves for legal recognition of his moves. So he has to strike so hard and so long that the West decides to sign off on those annexations , I don’t see that ever happening under any circumstances , the signing off that is.
His other option is to decapitate Zelensky and the military command and do what he failed to do in the beginning , set up another puppet gov like prior to the Maidan and have that gov. sign off on the loss of territory and all his other demands.
Putin’s problem is that he wants to be the good guy and have all his moves recognised by the rest of the world , that can’t happen under the gov. takeover scenario and can’t happen anyway because the rest of the world will not recognise any of the new annexations .
If for example India was to recognise Putin’s move as legal , what if Pakistan takes Kashmir? India has to acquiesce and say , ok , well done we will sign it over to you following the precedent set in Eastern Ukraine? Apply that to every country in the world , you can see that will open up a very big can of worms.
I think only six countries , North Korea and Iran being two , have recognised the Crimea annexation and that was a clean and logical move requiring no body bags.

Putin is not Stalin , that is his problem. In order to paint Russia as the knight in shining armour he must not go feral and do a Stalin.
So he has handicapped himself and the West will and has taken advantage of that.

The other question is can the West keep control of the Uky civilian and military powers or can the Uky elites at some point tell them to piss off , retake control and do a deal with Russia independently?
If they can’t then at this point in time I think it is fair to say that the US will decide how and when the war ends.
Meanwhile there is the old “Europe will collapse” story and that will mean NATO capitulation as the Europeans rise up and demand to have hot showers again , or the old , the West is collapsing meme.
I have been watching and waiting for that since the eighties but it still rolls on and on , the fact is that there is always money for war. North Korea has been collapsed since the end of Korean War but today or tomorrow they are doing a new nuclear weapons test , LOL.
Putin is heavily invested in this narrative , this is the larger conflict between Russia and the BRICS versus the collective West . This is what the the , “Putin has plenty of time scenario” is based on , he hope he lives long enough to see it!
Supporters of that narrative seem to think that if there was a total implosion of the West which includes the US that the BRICS and the test of the world would just continue marching on into economic power and glory.
Have they ever paused to consider the ramifications of the entire Western world and it’s satellites descending into the social and economic chaos like that which happened with Gorby’s pulling of the plug in the old Soviet?
China for one would be devastated , who would be left to buy all their shit? A lot of the rest of Asia are their subcontractors. Almost half of all the world’s GDP would disappear in the whirr of red hot computer smoke. Half of all the money in the world , the trillions of US dollars that underpins the world’s economic system the bulk of the world’s liquidity would crater overnight. It may all be printed fiat debt but that money still fuels a massive amount of the world economy. The trillions printed by the FED is feeding the world’s economy. The globe’s supply lines would freeze completely . The price of oil and most commodities would crater , all the oil trading countries would be without a viable cash flow , think about it , the world’s economy is still a maze of global contracts and financial obligations , the results would be beyond any event the world has ever seen. A real collapse , Soviet style would crater the entire world’s economy for decades. To think that the collapse of the West is going to be a windfall for the rest of the world shows severe delusional thinking. No body is going to walkaway waving the victory flag , nobody!
The best scenario for the BRICS is a long drawn out decades long decline without any huge explosions along the way giving them time to implement the replacement of the US dollar with whatever they are planning. Remember half of the currency in the world is US dollars , where is that all going to disappear to , what is going to replace it and how? All this talk of using their own currencies sounds fine but FOREX is a very complex business and if I was a country holding a shitload of Turkish or Indonesian or Brazilian currency I would not be happy about it , there will be some major adjustments to be made along the way, liquidity is vital , but maybe they can work it out. For that to happen they need the Wet’s decline to be long and slow that means the possibility of a long and slow war as well , decades long .

The future is unknown and that is without considering the possibility of a black swan event also.
Russia has to take and hold the annexed regions , that is set in stone. So now it is resetting and rebuilding and next year it will try to do that. Will the West continue it’s support for Ukraine and will Russia’s people continue to support Putin ?
Putin is old guard , he was a Cold War warrior for the KGB he knows how to hold power and he can suppress the people’s will easily , most of the work has already been done in that regard and the revision of Soviet history is well under way so it will become obvious to the people that the old Soviet ways were best , so Putin says we are putting them back into play , keep quiet or it is the Gulags for you.
The West is already in control of their people too , there is no sign of any real change in the controlling elites power, the two party system is a one party system with a veneer of democracy applied , the majority still believe in it .

So game on , Russia must first win back the annexed land then hold it convincingly …for ever. It must then decide if it continues on to take what will be a completely destroyed Odessa too. How much blood and treasure will the Russians elites be willing to spend? Game theory or Putin’s ego will decide.

Is the Russian state the super advanced tech and military power that RT has been telling us it is? So far I am not convinced that the old Soviet culture of corruption and incompetence has been erased , watching the clips of Russian state TV I think the Russian people are asking the same question. A recent look at the Kursk disaster shows just how bad the post Soviet navy was and Putin is still surrounded by military commanders from that era. The majority of the war supporters also come from this demographic. As those who lived in the Soviet times go to their demise we will see a new and different Russia emerge , we are seeing a similar change happening in Iran now as the young stake their claim to the future.

The nuclear question is being bandied about but I don’t see any real danger there. I would be extremely doubtful if Putin would push the big button even if conventional forces were at the gates of the Kremlin because Russians have been invaded before and survived and these days armed occupation is not possible on the scale required , I think every one knows that. To push the big button is the move of a very psychotic regime , I can see the Israelis doing it in the spirit of Masada but not Putin.
All of this is being game theorised by all sides , calculating gain and loss. The loss side is just too big for the big Nuclear button to be be pushed although a deployment of tactical nukes is not impossible but it must be done as a false flag as the perpetrator would be under severe international pressure and condemnation immediately . Most likely the first deployment of any tactical nuke would bring the world back to it’s senses and bring a halt to proceedings.
So no predictions , it is a wait and see game , the only prediction is that the future is unpredictable.
More rain , good , no bushfires this summer hopefully .

“Do you have to make your own model of “reality”?
I find that just about everybody else’s predictions of the war situation have been so wrong I now prefer to do my own analysis mostly based on historical events. The simplified story is this , Russia want to expand and maintain it’s empire , it’s own build back better . The West wants to expand and maintain it’s empire . This has been happening for millenia.
The present events are the results of passed events. To understand the present events one must look at that past. So I look at the past and draw conclusions about the present and future. I find it appalling how so many people on all sides of the situation just listen to the commentators that meet their own biases and then grovel and thank them about how wonderful and enlightening there analysis is without ever offering any thoughts or ideas of their own. If my analysis proves wrong then I will go with the facts, I like to ask questions and then wait for the answers to materialise. Can Russia win , whatever winning is , I don’t know , I have been putting up comments as to what might be in play , what might influence the result , let’s watch and see.
If TAE was the opposite to what it is now , if it was totally pro-west , I would probably be putting up pro-Russian comments.
Regarding your comments about the moral superiority of the BRICS , I see South Africa and China as some of the most morally bankrupt countries in the world. Recently half of the country , SA ,went on a murderous riot , looting and pillaging because it’s leader was busted for stealing billions of dollars. They were protesting FOR him , not against him . Murder of whites is now government sanctioned and violent crime is through the roof . What is there about that that we should want to emulate?
Do you think that Chinese are more free than Americans or Australians? I think you along with many TAE folk digest way too much ant-western propaganda on a daily basis . The West is not perfect but I would not swap my bolthole here for one in South Africa , China or Brazil or that shit-hole India where a billion people still shit outside in the parks and beaches and roads daily.
The BRICS people are still fighting to migrate West , not the other way around. The fact that those countries have not been warring and building an empire like the West is , is because they have no capability to do it , not that they would not if they could.
That is exactly why the BRICS exist to form a power block of their own . If they thought they could build an empire as individual countries like Russia and China are trying to do , they would already be doing that. To think otherwise is naive and childlike in my opinion. The world has always been like it is now with wars and shit coming down but now is still the best of times.

Just prior to the opening of the 20th Party Congress there was a public denunciation of the government’s failure to correct its zero-Covid policies. On October 13th two banners were unfurled at Beijing’s Sitong Overpass and a smoking fire was set to attract attention. The banners were accompanied by a loudspeaker demanding a change of government. The description of the current officeholder as a 国贼 (guózéi, meaning country + thief) was not very flattering.

    The first banner read:

We want food, not PCR tests
    Freedom, not lockdowns
    Dignity, not lies
    Reform, not cultural revolution
    Elections, not rulers
To be a citizen is to cease being a slave

I am at a football game ,there is team black and team white.
I am interested in the game but not a supporter of either team.
I am surrounded by one-eyed supporters of black team which started fairly well but now at half time are not looking so great but their supporters are up out of their seats cheering and hollering.
I happen to say that I don’t think that their side is doing so great .
“so you are a supporter of white , you low life scum sucking cunt, your mother sucks worms out of dead dog’s arseholes , fuck off back to the inbred shithole you crawled out of!

The ‘War of Terror’ May Be About To Hit Europe (Escobar)
I assume that the readers of TAE know that Escobar is employed directly by the Chinese Communist Party
as a writer for The Global Times based in Hong Kong , the CCP’s major English speaking propaganda platform?
“Fuck off Australia, stick to killing your own people with a few more death jabs.”
We are waiting for Putin to send us more of that good Russian goo , that is if Putin hasn’t taken it all himself.
The idea that Russia is prolonging the war as a tactical advantage is so dumb , illogical that is . If Putin wanted to prolong the war they would just dig in , create a really strong defensive line bring in the artillery and hold it. Why would you retreat from territory it took months of combat with heavy cost in time , money and treasure to take knowing you are going to have to do it all over again? That is nonsensical.
The fact is that the Russians do not have the capability to hold the line and all this talk of 5D chess is just BS conjured up to mask the truth , it is the sinking of the Kursk again. Russian military dickheads are making excuses for their failings. Remember the West had to come in and save the day then , that the Navy lied to the Russian people and Putin to cover their own arses?….for months they claimed the sinking was the result of a collision with a US sub? How dumb would you be to think that a US sub could sail away from a collision that registers in Norway as 3.5 on the Richter scale and then keep on telling the Russian people that BS for months after the event when every one already knew it was BS?

Meanwhile the Chinx have blown a real estate bubble that would make Wall st . blush.

Putin has closed the historical archives and banned relatives from researching the fates of the millions of the Gulag victims and is also doing historical revisionism of the “Good Times” of the murderous Commie regimes.

But the cheques keep coming so keep blathering….
‘this war is over , Russia has won!”
They should “win”, they should have won months ago , at least they should kill more Ukys than Ukys kill Russians and they probably have so far but they still can’t get their shit together on the ground , got missiles a plenty but unwilling to use them and strategy has been bad and even with the twenty six republics of the union plus Belarus, Iran , the Chinx the BRICS and the Indians in support they have not yet shown the capability of fucking over eensy-teensy Ukraine , you know the sub-human cretins that live in a country that does not exist , those that should have all their children drowned by the ubermench of Russia ……
    What is the holdup?
That is the question the Russian people want to know the answer to.
Most recent scheme by Russian political talking heads is to twist the arm of the Afghans for the gear the US left behind , does that mean that the Russians don’t have their shit together , that the old Bolshy corruption and hubris is still largely in play , stay tuned , order more popcorn and another Coke , don’t go ‘way now.

Question: how is the immersion in mantra/chanting that you experienced (described above) serving you in daily living? What are the practical and tangible benefits?

I did not harvest the fruits of all that yoga until twenty years later.

No fear , understanding the non-dual nature of reality , and the absence of an entity here or any multiplicity at all.

There are no personal benefits , liberation is from the person not for the person ,although it does appear that way.

I won’t go any further into it here on TAE , it is not a spiritual blog.

Always remember, “What you seek is also seeking you.” Rumi.
    This is a dualist statement.
How about , “what you are looking for is that which is looking.”

I spent many thousands of hours in the practice of Swadayama , chanting over a four year period without barely missing a session.
Each day started at three thirty a.m. with a one and a half hour chant and over the course of a day the total would be about five hours and on big Hindu festivals a twenty four hour a day chant for seven days sometimes with dancing included called a Sapta .
When not physically chanting , silent mantra repetition was the action employed. Eventually chanting or mantra repletion happens in dream sleep too.
It is one aspect or practice of Tantra yoga.

Putin must get nervous about this. Maintaining the delicate balance between Israel and Russia is a must for him. If Israel and Iran get an almost direct confrontation happening Russia will have to side with Iran. If he does not then his alliances are worth nothing and countries will take notice. If he shows overt support for Iran , Israel will most likely move to support Ukraine as that is the next logical step if the two countries become more antagonistic to one another. How much influence Putin has over the Iranian’s I don’t know , very little I would guess and he needs their weapons for the foreseeable future to bolster his efforts in Ukraine , it is becoming an increasingly tangled web.

    https://english.almayadeen.net/news/politics/mighty-iran:-large-scale-irgc-military-exercises-launched

I can’t see the need for Ukraine to blow the big hydro dam at present. Blowing the dam is a defensive move to bring about a very long pause on that front. At the moment the Ukys are advancing and Russia is withdrawing. The Ukys want to get at the Russians on the other side on the Dnieper , blowing the dam will prevent that. Do the Uky’s have the means? That is going to require some pretty big boom-booms.For the Russians however it will give them a big breather whilst they get their shit together.
Can’t help but think that annexing all that territory in Eastern Ukraine has put the Russians in a very tight spot. Half of the three oblasts has not yet been taken and in Kherson they are still retreating , ALL of that territory MUST be retaken and HELD by Russia as it is now Russian sovereign territory. That pretty much negates all chances of negotiations from on Ukraine’s side , what is left to negotiate? Russia will have to turn all of Ukraine into a waste land and force a negotiation that way but is Ukraine in charge of it’s own future?
The only gain for Russia is it get’s to use the leverage of a tactical nuclear strike in defence of it’s own territory as per the Russian rules of engagement. I don’t see that threat as a game changer. If he does do that I think he is done, China and India , pretty much every other country , even Iran will find it almost impossible to continue support and it also opens up the chance of false flag from the Western side.

I watched a very long doco , six or seven hours , on the Kursk sinking back in 2000. The Russian navy’s behaviour was beyond incompetent , Mchales navy and Gilligan’s island plus Dr. Strangelove combined. Putin nearly lost his arse over it. Can’t help but think that those old incompetent and corrupt values have not been eradicated, with the navy brass lying to Putin and the Russian people , such bald faced bullshit. That was only twenty years ago , has the old culture been transformed? Time will tell the story.

Anyway the world has always been like this, on average it is still the best time to be a human on the planet , there is less war and more food and freedom than any time in history…..and , we got the inter-knob to play on!

    DONK
    That’s gold!
    Oz Min.
    “$21.38 per hour
The national minimum wage is $812.60 per week, for a 38 hour week, or $21.38 per hour. The national minimum wage provides a starting point to calculate your employees’ wages, however most employees are covered by an award.15 July 2022”
The high cost of fuel here has pushed the price of everything up. Most notably building materials and tools , even the cheap Chinese shit. Diesel is about $2.15 a litre , petrol about $1.80 for low grade. One supermarket bag of your everyday groceries , no meat will be about forty bucks so two hours work will get you a bag of food , as always it depends on what you buy as to how long it will last , that is not including income tax. A box of beer , twenty four cans is about $50. A loaf of quality bread about $ 4.The GST , goods and services tax is %10 , workers can make $18,000 before income tax kicks in but GST is unavoidable and then you have tax on fuel , smokes, alcohol , on and on.
Every body receives money paid into a retirement fund called superannuation by their employer which is over and above their income , at present the employee minimum pay in rate is %10 of annual earnings. It can be much higher up to %15 I think , big corps and gov . pay very high rates, politicians especially cream it on super. The money cannot be touched until a person reaches retirement age of sixty seven unless exceptional hardships but their is a big push by the banks to get their hands on it for mortgage payments at present , you can manage it yourself or leave it under institutional manage meant for fees , at present the total amount for the country sits at about four trillion. Most is managed by industrial funds and sits mostly in the stock markets , both domestic and international , City of London and Wall st.
The age pension is paid after sixty seven and is means tested. Basically you can own your house and have a million or so of super and still get some pension. You can also earn income up to about $25000 per annum , own your house and assets plus super and still get around $800 a fortnight in pension and there are also many other reductions in fares and services for pensioners. The caveat is of course that the entire setup is resting on our fiat/debt system. Most people under forty do not believe that there will be any super or pensions left when they retire. House prices are through the roof due to constant immigration and overseas buyers , Chinx mostly. At present average mean home price is about $800,000 and still going up in most parts. The economy is basically a massive real estate bubble with about %60 of GDP being mortgages! The banks and big miners own and run the country , most of their shares are owned by Wall st the usual suspects. Over the last sixty years the two , really one , political parties have sold the common-wealth of the people and replaced real assets with debt. The entire economy is built around managing the mortgage economy for the banks, not unlike China or the rest of the world. The Oz central bank is starting to soften the rate rises as they calculate that much more and shit will start to happen, Wall st would not want to see the value of their Aus. assets diminish now would they?
The sun is out today after another twenty five mm of rain , the weather is mild and spring has well and truly sprung , lots of baby critters everywhere.

“La Niña typically increases the chance of above average rainfall for northern and eastern Australia during spring and summer. The negative Indian Ocean Dipole (IOD) event also continues.11 Oct 2022”

Another wet summer with floods all over Eastern Oz. We had over one hundred mm a few days back and the bridge over the river which joins my property and connects all of the coastal towns here is damaged and only one lane is open , infrastructure ain’t what it used to be. If the trillion dollars wasted and stolen on the Covid scam had been spent on infrastructure we would be looking pretty rosy .
Have projects to do , be good people.

The simple fact is that we as individuals are powerless and even as large groups we are powerless. At least we have seen the old deceit that shit can be changed at the ballot box.
The world has always been like this except now with the net we have a lot more information in our hands and alternative views.

Redneck is just a handle , remember?
Here is a short autobiography , you decide.
I grew up in the country here in Tasmania not far from where I live now. I hunted and fished and barely made it through high school. Our idea of a good time on a warm summer’s night when I was about eight was to load up my cousin’s utility with stones from the roadside , the roads were not paved then , drive around the neighbourhood in the dark and throw as many stones as we could onto the tin roofs of people we thought were dumb or authority figures, the headmasters house always copped the biggest drubbing.
I was an apprentice at the local pulp and paper mill where all my family worked except mum.I have mostly worked in heavy industry but also once tried being an Amway rep when it opened in Jakarta Indonesia.I repaired torpedoes for the Australian navy at HMAS Platypus in Sydney harbour and worked the North West Iron ore mines when that kicked off in the early seventies. I lived about twenty years over seas chasing the best surf on the planet , surfing was my passion.I would work for a few months and then go surf for a few months. I worked at the ISKOR steel works in Newcastle South Africa during the apartheid years , I was a “BAAS” and had about twenty ” boys” working for me . The Zulus called me the white haired baas as my hair was sun bleached platinum blonde from so much time in the surf. I got deported to Rhodesia and worked there in a Lever and Kitchen factory and partied very hard with the non-white citizens which got me beaten up a couple of times as the country was in a civli war and white guys were sposed to know their place. I smuggled shit in Asia , worked construction and surfed the big waves in Hawaii , sewed grain in Saskatchewan , did HVAC work in the Catskills , kayaked a part of the Yukon river , overdosed in Bangkok , took too many mushrooms all across the Indian Ocean islands and learned to speak fluent Indonesian. I lived in an ashram in India for four years with a tantric guru and went deep into tantric practices. I worked in all kinda mines , mostly underground , gold, uranium and iron ore.I was a logistics man for an exploration drilling company in Indonesia working in every part of the country except West Iran.I settled down when I was about fifty , married an Indonesian lady and had three kids, I have very long hair and drink and smoke too much and swear a lot. I drive old vehicles and my clothes are always dirty as I spend a lot of time in my shed and on my boat doing projects, people are repulsed by my appearance , I alway get a kick out of that. The story is too long and who cares anyway?
I was going to use the handle Bogan but I think most people here would not know what that means.
    Good day.

    Dr. D
Cherry picking a few photos of isolated spots in the US as a valid reason for young Iranians to not want to have Western lifestyles won’t fly with me.
I myself myself have visited the US several times and lived there continually for about four years , three and a half years as an illegal alien after over staying my six month tourist visa. Admittedly that was back in the eighties but even then there were some rather bad places that I would not wanted to have lived in permanently , Oakland in the Bay Area for example. The bus station in Chicago was the scariest place on earth I have ever been. I am pretty sure that those areas are probably worse by quite a bit but I am also sure that the majority of the country is still very liveable.
I still have friends there , one lives in Stockton , another in Chicago , another has moved from Hawai to California , to Florida and back to Hawaii again over the last fifteen years , we are in touch regularly , I don’t just live in a doom and gloom media bubble.
On YouTube I have a sub to a few young Russians who also would like to live in the West and have a more liberal lifestyle. One young lady did live there and would love to return there , to California , it is a long term trend, people from many countries want to move to the West , it is happening before our eyes. I now see Africans and Indians in the small town close to where I live. Your borders are open and millions are pouring in , if the state of the West is as bad as you try to portray , why would they be fighting and risking death to get in?
I have visited and lived in about fifteen countries over the years , I saw the introduction of satellite TV in Asia , I sat in a room with very poor village folk in a remote island of Indonesia a place of intense poverty where life was extremely hard and watched Miami Vice along with them. Can you imagine the impact it had on those children and adults who still travelled about in dug out canoes?
Western media has penetrated every corner of the globe that is why folk are breaking the doors down to get to the West.
Iranians in Shiraz live a hard life. Chemical engineers are driving taxis and living with their extended families for most of their life. The country was in a terrible drought . the local river had not had a flowed for ten years and all the ground water was gone, hundreds of thousands of acres of macadamia trees were dead in the fields, a little like the Western US is now. Some people still move their produce around with handcarts and animals. Life is a real struggle. You no doubt will say that my description sounds just like the US however in the US there is diversity and places you can move to with better opportunities, if you are not fucked up on fentanyl that is. Iranians don’t have that opportunity in their country that is why many immigrate and many of those immigrants are very successful too. They know that if the regime is deposed there is a chance of the sanctions being lifted and their economy will have a chance to flourish . The young protestors of today did not live through the Shah or the Revolution just as young Russians never lived through Soviet times, they want to have a more liberal Western life style, right or wrong. Who am I to tell them they should not?

On the subject of Iran it is interesting that the Russians who have been bullshiting us for quite a while now about how their industrial base and technology is so advanced are now getting their drones supplied from Iran , Russia is a country that has been free to pursue it’s economic goals without hinder until recently and Iran has been under powerful sanctions since the fall of the Shah , yet Iranian military tech surpasses Russian military tech , go figure just how “advanced” Russian tech is. They have put all their tech and rubles into the hypersonic nukes and neglected the rest of their arsenal , banking on using their superior nuke capability to bluff the rest , won’t work I am afraid. The rest of the world won’t and shouldn’t kowtow to nuclear threats , MAD still exists.
Pepe is a bullshitter , makes up what he thinks will sell , talk your book and cash the cheques is the standard of the day.
Regarding the industrialisation of food production I remember reading Carson’s Silent Spring when I was a kid. My house and land here where I live has a small forest and many other trees surrounding it , right now I can hear a wattle bird singing, there are blackbirds, kookaburras , white and black cockatoos, an amazing display of birdlife. The fact is that industrial farming has been so successful that the population on the planet has increased seven hundred percent in my lifetime. Will it last , maybe not, but the non-stop freaking about what might happen in the future and the poisonous state of our food is obviously another case of talking and selling , it is a market that is catered for at this point in time. The oceans are where the real devastation has occurred. There are more people living longer than at any time in history.
The use of one or more false flag tactical nukes may be a very smart move for either side to deploy to try to gain an advantage in the Ukraine situation. The question is which side has a better chance of convincing the world that they were not the perpetrators. If the West can place the blame on Russia then Russia’s war financing will be immediately withdrawn by China and India, they will become international pariahs and it will be regime change on. If Russia could convince the world it was the West then the same applies except the globalists will still be in power even if there is a change in government.
A tactical nuke is not a big deal if it does not escalate , escalation is the dangerous side of the operation ,Intel folk on both sides will be doing their game-theory on that. Russia may and definitely should “win” on the ground but NATO will be bigger and stronger than ever , Putin’s actions have guaranteed that the very thing he was trying to prevent will come about in a much larger and more pervasive way. Turkey is the big winner at this point , playing both sides of the game ,one foot in NATO and the other foot in Russia , both sides kissing Erdo’s arse.
Funny how amongst all the screeching by Russia about the Uky nazis they never explain why there are nazis in Ukraine. Where did these nazis spring from? Why do they hate Russia so much? Why did they join Germany against the Russians? The entire worlds media is silent about it , why? It is almost as if there is no history between the Russians and the Ukys , as though the world only began with the Maidan , before that…nothing. It is obvious now that the non-Russians in Ukraine , allegedly about eighty percent did not and do not want to live under their old masters any more , they too want to look West and live the lifestyles they see on TikTok and tv. It is obvious that the majority of East European states till remember and hate the Russians for the abuse they suffered under them behind the ‘Iron Curtain. Again the media is silent, no back ground history is being floated , history never happened! Who ever heard of Katyn or the Holodomor just two of the horrendous events dished out by the now saint-like Russians. The people still remember what the media has forgotten. Every mention of the neo-nazis should include the back story of how they came into existence and how they lost as many Ukrainians to the Russians as the Jews did to the NAZIS.The Jews now rule the world while Ukraine is a sacrificial lamb, go figure.
Re Israel v Russia , interesting fact,

“As of 2022, approximately 15% of the Israeli population is Russian-speaking, and the Russian-speaking community accounts for 15 percent of Israel’s eligible voters. Ze’ev Khanin surmised that Russian Jews in Israel tend to be politically conservative, estimating that 50 to 60 percent support the Likud Beiteinu party.”
Yes a whole lot of the murderous bastards who treat Palestinians like subhuman vermin are Russians! Russian Jews the ones that Stalin and Hitler didn’t get. That is why Israel and Russia are in a tangle. That is why Russia lets Israel do whatever it wants in the occupied territories and in Syria without lifting a finger. That is why Israel is conflicted about Ukraine , Israel and Russia beneath the surface are close allies , what happens to Israel is of intense importance in Russia as the small minority of Jews still live there are immensely rich and powerful , they control the Russian mafia for example as well as making up a large proportion of the oligarchs, even after Putin booted out so many. Of course the are Israel/Zionist supporters too , so Putin has a lot to think about in that regard.
    Interesting fact.
“Jews in Russia have historically constituted a large religious and ethnic diaspora; the Russian Empire at one time hosted the largest population of Jews in the world.”
You might remember that they had a Jewish philosopher , a Mr. Marx who gave them a new political/economic system that they called Bolshevism which was also called Comintern it was responsible for the murder and enslavement of millions of people in Eastern Europe. Putin was one of their operatives and still weeps for the loss of the Soviet empire . He denied Gorby a state funeral and never attended.
The world is a complicated place but we never get any nuance from our media , just black and white for the sheeple.

“A Color Revolt is underway in Iran”
A lot of folk always think that if there is some kind of pushback or revolution happening anywhere that is entirely originating from and being directly orchestrated by the US/CIA.
Some influence can be brought to bear through social media but it is impossible to bring hundreds of thousands onto the street unless they have a legitimate grievance .
I visited Iran about five years ago and a lot of people were pissed off with the regime and were not afraid to say so .
One man in a shop in the central market of Shiraz actually stood up and called out in a vey loud voice to me and my friend as we walked by ,” This regime no good” , no body around us looked upset or unhappy with his statement , it seemed the majority agreed. We never met any body who spoke good for the regime. Every one who offered an opinion was always against the regime.
We were there for Ashura , the biggest Shia religious celebration of the year. The scene of over one hundred thousand people marching in the parade in Shiraz was immensely impressive , all the women were in full black purda , Persian music’s playing and small skits were being played out in the parade , the men were also dressed in black and were whipping themselves in unison to the drum beats, very moving.
That morning after the parade there were two hundred and fifty thousand people at the central mosque complex , we wanted to go in but we were told to come back later in the afternoon , which we did.
So it would seem that although there is a lot of dissatisfaction with the government there is still a very strong commitment to Islam. Although the demonstrations happening at the moment would seem to indicate otherwise
The anti-head covering protest is most likely happening because it is the most personal and obvious sign of the thuggish regime’s control , I would think that many of the protestors are still deeply religious.
The young people are the most pissed off as they are all so highly educated and yet employment is just no where to be found. The internet there is fairly open so they know how the rest of the world’s young people live , they see the world as just passing them by.

We never saw a sign of the regime goons anywhere at any time.

The people were scrupulously honest , we met young single European girls who were actually couch-surfing through the country and said they never felt any bad vibes and everyone welcomed them into their homes with great respect and love.
When we went to the Vakil Mosque on the day of Ashura we had to leave our backpacks and cameras in a storage facility outside the mosque , photography inside the mosque was banned they said , when we asked about our phones the said without a hint of irony ,
“Phones are ok , you can take photos with your phones”.
We were then usherd through the gates where we stood waiting for our guide to come and escort us. Shortly a young stocky man appeared wearing all the black mullah regalia. He was a very impressive character with piercing eyes and full beard. He walked up to us directly and said in perfect English,
” I represent a terrorist organisation , you are now under arrest you must come with me”.
For a few seconds we were speechless , my mind was a blank, then with a big smile he reached out for our hands saying , ” Only joking”.
It was a very quick visit , we stayed the entire week in Shiraz flying in directly from Abhu Dabhi , we did a day trip out to Persepolis.
I highly recommend the country for travellers.
