    How now, brown clown? (criminal)

If, like me, you were wondering how an Indian multibillionaire became Prime Minister of Airstrip One, I cannot say for certain. I can only make some assumptions and put 2 and 2 together.

    Money talks.

‘However, at a closed-door meeting Thursday of the Conference of Presidents (CoP) — which includes the heads of all the political groups and the Parliament’s president — leaders refused the request to hold a public grilling.

That pretty much sums up everything.

If you are a criminal -as all so-called leaders in NATOstan nations are- wouldn’t you hold meetings behind closed doors and ensure the public doesn’t get to hear what was discussed and who benefited from the secret deals made?

    Without energy, nothing happens.

The long-term consequence of over-use of fossil fuels as energy sources is a completely fucked-up planet, inhospitable to most extant life forms -including humans, of course. Indeed, humans will be one of eh first species to go extinct as a consequence of overuse of fossil fuels.

All ‘official plans and policies’ focus on promotion of short-term Ponzi schemes which are dependent on systematic fraud and conversion of fossil fuels into waste, until it becomes impossible to do so, whilst at the same time lying continuously about everything.

Since all so-called leaders of NATOstan nations are psychotic sociopaths or trained actors, they do not believe there is a point of ‘until it becomes impossible to do so’ -infinite growth on a finite planet and other severe delusions of the mentally ill being the norm in the corridors of power of NATOstan nations.

‘We’ hit the wall in 2019: the splattered mess of 2020-to-2023 is the result.

I have much work to do in the tiny window of opportunity that is left before it all turns to custard -very likely later this year.

Venus and Jupiter were stunning in the evening sky yesterday. Today looks suitable for a short river adventure.

All work and no play makes for a dull life.

A litre of milk going from 4 cents (1974 price), to 40 cents to $4 (current price) isn’t inflation. It’s deliberate devaluation of fiat currency that has no foundation, other than government-sanctioned fraud and usuary.

I knew more than 20 years ago that this point -of an overheated planet inflicting damage faster than humans with machines could repair the damage- would be reached. And wrote about it more than 20 years ago. I just didn’t know when it would be reached.

    It’s now:

We could say that, as well as losing its war with Eurasia, Oceania is losing its war with Nature.

James Lovelock called it Gaia’s Revenge.

I can give latitude and longitude instead of using Airstrip numbers. What people need to understand is that the name ‘New Zealand; is entirely fake; there is nothing new about it, nor is there anything to do with Zealand. It is the designation given to the landmasses formerly known as Aotearoa. NZ is a completely fake appellation given these land masses by a private corporation that has no legitimacy and which is in breach of more laws that I can cite here.

We cannot call these land masses Aotearoa because practically everything that was Aotearoa -the tress, the fauna, the marine life -very notably dolphins and shellfish- the coal, the oil, the gold- was either destroyed or carted away long ago by The Empire of Lies.

We could call it Kiwi-land but for the fact that kiwi populations have been decimated and many species are close to extinction at hands of The Empire of Lies. The Empire of Lies has also been killing-off Kiwis, i.e. human population.

We could call it Sheep-land but for the fact that sheep are an introduced species and numbers have been in decline for decades.

How about Human-sheep-land? since the bulk of the population behave like sheep -herded, fleeced and then slaughtered.

Skip my comments if that suits. I skip the comments of many commenters. Time is far too short now. And most know a lot less than I do.

That said, there are a few commenters who provide new information of new interpretations of information that are well worth considering.

This is what collapse off civilisation looks like after a bit of heavy rain.

This shambolic response of ‘authorities’ is occurring when times are good and there is still plenty of fuel and food.

I’m sure the government will patch things together eventually, until the next government-induced catastrophe occurs.

I am happy to keep repeating.

Airstrip One = England (it is difficult to use the term UK when there is so much disunity, especially in the conquered territories of Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland).

Airstrip Two = America (Trading under the British East India Company Flag as the United States)

Airstrip Three = Canada (still trading under the indigenous people’s name)

Airstrip Four = Australia (the original name almost completely obliterated by the corporation)

Airstrip Five = Aotearoa (trading under the fake name of New Zealand)

All are run as corporations, run from The City of London, a private corporation set up in the mid-1600s.

Please read ‘1984’ or watch the 1984 film version of it.

    War is Peace.

    Ignorance is Strength.

    Freedom is Slavery.

The controllers are promoting all three as hard as they can. Hence ‘Russia (Orwell’s Eurasia) is suffering huge losses and is about to collapse’, ‘Putin is sick and dying’, ‘Upgrade to a clean and green electric car using the government subsidy now’, ‘Government to review legal status, following misinformation campaigns directed against vaccines’, ‘We need a lot more censorship’ (as declared by The Scorpion, Adern, at the UN). etc.

    Also read ‘Brave New World’.

I believe we are in the 120th Year of Ford, (or thereabouts).

I am a little quiet of late is that I am grinding out 10 -12 hour days getting ready for 10 years of austerity.

I am going one step further, oxymoron.

I am a little quiet of late is that I am grinding out 10 -12 hour days getting ready for collapse of the fake financial system, collapse of the fake economic system, and collapse of the ability for Airstrip Five to acquire refined petroleum products.

When I came to Airstrip Five in 1974 a litre of milk was 4 cents. In the mid-80s it went to 40 cents. Currently it is almost $4.

If there is still the same fake financial-economic system and there are still supermarkets in 2024, I expect a litre of milk to cost around $40. And I suspect there will be a lot of empty apartment blocks. Especially in Orcland.

Another day of obfuscation and lies from The Empire of Lies.

Meanwhile, Airstrip Five has lost between 1/4 and 1/3 of its crops for export and an unknown portion of its animal stock…probably around 5%. The regions devasted -from Northland right through to Hawkes Bay- were also major beekeeping regions, so we must anticipate shortages of honey and other bee-related products. We won’t know the full extent of the damage because there is little communication, due to there being no electricity in many districts.

Whilst food prices on Airstrip Five are expected to surge even more than they have already, removing a substantial portion of the food supply from international markets is likely to have enormous repercussions, from higher prices to there being absolutely no product being available at all.

At the moment, the only things that work in Napier are things that have internal combustion engines or run on bottled natural gas.

“It’s a war zone,’ said one interviewee.

Yes. But what the commenter failed to understand is that the war is between the government (managers of the Airstrip) and the people of airstrip Five. It’s been that way from the beginning. But in the past it was possible to get ahead. So the people could take the punishment, knowing that they could improve their lot a little. Now even that is gone and everyone gets dragged down, other than the well-connected 1%, who profit from everyone else’s misfortune.

It’s much the same on Airstrip Two, of course, where the managers put into positions of power by Big Brother have absolutely no interest in the welfare of the populace or in protecting the environment or wildlife.

Seymore Hersh is not going away, but does allude to his family being threatened at times.
This is a transcript of a recent interview.

The ‘problem’ of Seymour Hersh can be made to go way by inventing some [fake] charges as a pretext to arrest him -historic rape accusations, failure to fill in a tax form etc.- and then putting him solitary confinement for a few weeks while [fake] espionage or ‘threat to national security’ charges can be cobbled together.

Declaring him a ‘terrorist’ would be another route the Empire of Lies could follow. Anyone reading anything he had written would then also be declared a co-conspirator to terrorism and subject to arrest and incarceration.

Okay, the numbers would be difficult. But no more difficult than trying to prop up a Ponzi scheme in an era of severe energy depletion and environmental collapse. No more difficult than trying to fight Russia using a very limited supply of antiquated weapons.

I read ‘Robinson Crusoe’ many years ago and saw that it was a template for racism, exploitation, fear of Nature and assaults on Nature etc. -quite the opposite of ‘Gulliver’s Travels’ written not long after, which was a witty critique of the political system of the early seventeenth century: the narrator’s revulsion for Yahoos hits the spot, as does the selection process for ministers of government -he who can jump the highest or lower himself the lowest.

Little has changed in 300 years. Racism, exploitation, fear of Nature and relentless assaults on Nature, plus he who jumps the highest or lowers himself the lowest gets to govern. The only notable difference is that she who jumps highest or lowers herself the lowest also gets to govern these days.

Since the governments of Oceania Airstrips are criminal enterprises, they are capable of anything in the protection and promotion of their criminal activities: cheating, lying, murder, poisoning, genocide, terrorism, reneging on ‘promises’, war, nuclear war…

What they are not capable of is defeating the laws of mathematics and chemistry etc.

I should add that what we see above ground -trunk, branches etc.is the support system to get leaves into places where they can intercept maximum light energy to activate the chlorophyll [that strips hydrogen off water molecules].

Whilst a certain set of heat conditions are necessary for land plants to operate, they generally do not like heat. It is light they seek. Which is why they grow towards it.

And most plants do not like being submerged for extended periods because it starves them of the oxygen they need at nighttime to carry out respiration.

Richard Feynman’s explanation is almost completely WRONG!!!

No, trees do NOT take carbon dioxide and strip the oxygen off it! That is an incredibly difficult chemical maneuver, involving the rupturing of the high-energy double bond, O=C=O.

Threes (and other plants) take water molecules and strip one hydrogen off them, creating the reactive species OH. That is a common condition which occurs naturally because the O-H bond is relatively weak in H-O-H, espcially the first one creating H and O-H. It happens all the time, which is why water is at pH 7.

The OH radical generated by rupturing of water molecules then goes on to attach to CO2, eventually forming complex carbohydrates.

The polyporphorine ring (containing magnesium) of chlorophyll reduces the energy needed to rupture water molecules

No. water does not come from the air! It comes from the oceans and is transferred to the air in small [in real terms] quantities via evaporation. And departs from the air very quickly when cooling takes place in the atmosphere.

The great Russian Urdyumov pointed out that trees are essentially root systems and that the CO2 does not come from the air -contrary to what is taught in schools- but comes from the ground!!! -dissolved atmospheric CO2 picked up by water on its way down.

All the stuff above ground -trunk, branches, leaves- is a complex pump system, whereby trees use stomata to evaporate water and drive a capillary pump -the xylem- which allows the waste product of stripping hydrogen off water molecules -oxygen- to escape into the atmosphere, along with unutilised CO2 from the ground.

It all goes to show how easy it is to fool most people in the scientifically-illiterate society we live in.

Energy is the key to everything. And without it everything grinds to a halt.

Try telling a politician, banker, ‘economist’ or average Prole that. Deaf ears everywhere.

Serious loss of food production capacity (up to mentioned 70% in the case of kumara, a staple for some people) will affect both overseas importers of food and locals.

And this is just the start of climate mayhem, as seas and oceans severely overheat from highly elevated atmospheric CO2 saturate the air above them and generate monster storms.

And, of course, all the remediation is founded on use of even more fossil fuels, exacerbating both the depletion predicament and the environmental predicament.

Life at the End of Empire on the Planet of the Fuckwits.

Sorry folks, there is no happy ending to this story.

The ‘fruit bowl’ of Airstrip Five, noteed for the production of millions of apples pear and grapes (converted to wine) has been largely destroyed in the aftermath of Cyclone Gabriele.

Having lived there for three years, I am fully aware just how low-lying much of the land is (barely above sea level) and how vulnerable was (is).

Needless to say, numerous warnings (including those given by me) were ignored and the psychopaths in charge continued to promote completely inappropriate ‘development’.

Worse than SNAFU. And no mention of the fundamental causes in the reporting, of course.

    Corrupt liars fighting amongst themselves.

‘Over the top’: Nash calls council’s warning Napier faces two weeks without power ‘alarmist’

Napier MP Stuart Nash has labelled the local regional council’s warning that some in the city face at least two weeks without power “alarmist” and “over the top”.

Cyclone Gabrielle live: Five dead, fresh evacuation order issued in central Hawke’s Bay

The centre has been hit hard by the wrath of Cyclone Gabrielle, with the local lines company Unison Networks saying there are 31,700 homes in Napier without power. This is due to flooding causing extensive damage at the Redclyffe substation.

The Hawke’s Bay Regional Council on Thursday morning said on Facebook that the power outage in Napier “is expected to be at least two weeks”. It said emergency power has been provided for Wellesley Road Medical Centre, Countdown and Caltex Napier.

Nash, the local MP and Government minister, told AM that “sounds a little alarmist” and believes the suggestion that power could be out for weeks “is over the top” considering how important it was to get sorted.

He said the Government and Transpower understood restoring power was “critical”.

“It is their number one priority to get power back on because, of course, we’re living in the 21st century, right? Food is kept in fridges and freezers. We all operate on a power grid. Without that, it’s very hard to undertake any form of contact.”

He said local businesses had been geared up for the annual Art Deco weekend, which has had to be cancelled.’

It’s not often that I agree with, or even bother with, anything mainstream. But this, apart from the glorification of Churchill, is noteworthy:

We are entering a period of consequences’

Where on the spectrum from tragedy to farce are we when we see the same images of upturned cars floating in floodwaters, of desperate people awaiting rescue on rooftops, in so many cities around the world?

Comment: In 1936, as Hitler’s Germany geared up for war, Winston Churchill railed against the comparatively poor state of the British military.

“The era of procrastination, of half measures, of soothing and baffling expedients, of delays, is coming to its close. In its place, we are entering a period of consequences,” he said in a fiery speech in Parliament.

Of course, at this time, Europe was not yet on the eve of war. Still, Churchill had the foresight to warn against what was to come.

James Shaw invoked that same phrase in Parliament on Tuesday, describing the devastating Cyclone Gabrielle as “an even more significant challenge” than the Auckland floods, which were themselves at the time “our worst climate-related disaster in this country”.

He’s not the first person to call up Churchill’s prescient warning and apply it to this century’s “gathering storm” either.

In An Inconvenient Truth in 2006, former US Vice President Al Gore quoted Churchill’s foreboding prediction of “a period of consequences”.

How are we still reaching for the same metaphors to describe the same problem? Why does it feel like so little has changed?

In the documentary, Gore turns to Churchill after describing the ways in which climate change will make hurricanes – the Atlantic version of cyclones – more intense. He points to Hurricane Katrina, which killed more than 1000 people and turned into the costliest-ever tropical storm.

“There had been warnings that hurricanes would get stronger. There were warnings that this hurricane, days before it hit, would breach the levies and cause the kind of damage that it ultimately did cause. And one question that we, as a people, need to decide is how we react when we hear warnings from the leading scientists in the world,” Gore said.

Cyclone Gabrielle wasn’t a surprise either. And while we were as prepared as we could be for its landfall, we are not prepared for the progression of ever more intense and ever more frequent tropical storms which will come in its wake over the coming years and decades.

Karl Marx wrote, paraphrasing Hegel, that history repeats itself, “the first time as tragedy, the second time as farce”. But what about the third time? The fourth or fifth? Where on the spectrum from tragedy to farce are we when we see the same images of upturned cars floating in floodwaters, of desperate people awaiting rescue on rooftops, in so many cities all around the world?

We are in a period of consequences precisely because we have ignored decades of warnings about the impact of burning fossil fuels and the need to prepare our societies for a changing climate.

More than 30 years ago, the world committed to act on climate change. In the intervening time, annual global emissions have risen 60 percent.

New Zealand isn’t exempt from this problem. Our emissions are a third higher than they were in 1990.

At the same time, the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change reported last year “gaps exist between current levels of adaptation and levels needed to respond to impacts and reduce climate risks”.

We have done nothing to get at the root cause of climate change and done far too little to protect against its effects.

People on Twitter have a shorter, more vulgar summary of Churchill’s quote: F**k around and find out.

Right now, we’re in the “find out” stage.

This isn’t to say that every individual bears responsibility for the devastation of the cyclone, or the litany of climate catastrophes that have played out both here and abroad in recent years.

The climate crisis is a systemic problem, not an individual one. The “procrastination, the half measures, the soothing and baffling expedients, the delays” are the fault of those with the power to stop the pollution: Fossil fuel companies, their corporate clients and the politicians who have failed to rein them in.

These companies are continuing to make record profits by knowingly selling us the very thing that makes events like Gabrielle so much more likely and so much more extreme. They knew their products were poisoning the atmosphere as early as 1959 and they lied about it. Now, they pretend to support green solutions but leap at the chance to increase production of fossil fuels when the opportunity arises.

When we look at the ruin left in Gabrielle’s wake, we should know it isn’t simply the result of a capricious and arbitrary weather system. That’s part of it, but an added edge of intensity is the result of conscious choices by people who have the power to act but choose not to.

The question is, did the people consciously choose not to act to protect communities, or were they told not to act to protect communities by higher ‘authority’ of the cabal of international bankers and corporations and those who control those institutions?

One thing is certain, everything will continue to be made worse by the managers of the various Airstrips that comprise Oceania, on the instructions of Big Brother.

Russia will never have any security as long as Oceania is run by totalitarian fascists. And nor will the Proles of Oceania have any security as long as Oceania is run by totalitarian fascists.

We are witnessing the final battle between good and evil. And evil -which in complete control of the so-called governments of Oceania- has a lot of cards to play before it is defeated. There won’t be much left at the end of it all.

Lies, censorship, fabrications. Fabrications, lies, censorship. Mind control, servitude, tyranny. Tyranny, servitude, mind control.

As usual, many aspects of the latest disaster were avoidable -but local Deceit and Crime organisations didn’t do the job the community needed them to do, like ensure drains and flood systems were clear of vegetation and obstructions- and now many people are left with ruined lives and no help.

Chipmunk will do plenty of posturing and deliver plenty of empty rhetoric, of course, as always happens, whichever Airstrip in Oceania is affected by a disaster.

What will the management of Airstrip do?

Print digital money and hand it out to corporations and opportunists, of course. And hope that something eventually gets done after all the kick-backs and and rorts have been paid for.

When will a “real journalist” – probably need to time travel from the past – ask similar questions and not accept the usual stupid answers?

Real journalists and investigators inhabit the ‘alternative media’.

Real journalism in the mainstream sector was killed of decades ago; Eric Blair would say it never existed.

Maybe if you go back to the nineteenth century? Very little in the twentieth century, and that tiny bit got killed off by Big Brother -the totalitarian fascists- quite a long time ago.

In case you haven’t heard, the top half of Airstrip Five is a disaster zone. A ‘National Emergency’ has been declared despite it all being honky-dory in the South Island. Quite a nice day, in fact, though we could do with more rain. The 0.3mm last night just dampened the surface slightly.

Reported at midday: Gisborne is completely cut off by road, sea and air. There’s talk of no electricity for days and no roads for weeks or months.

I guess this is how ‘civilisation’ ends.

We might declare over and over again: “We’ve had enough of this shit!” But for the corporations that run the show in Oceania, there is never enough.

Peak Mayhem is still coming. What we have witnessed so far is just a teaser.

Crazy Chipmunk isn’t hiding yet. He’s still pretending there’s a plan and that things can be fixed.

Good luck fixing a broken Jet Stream system and an overheated ocean by burning even more fossil fuels.

On what was to become Airstrip Two, The Curse of the Corporations began to emerge in the early nineteenth century, when boatloads of poor people were loaded onto ships in what was to become Airstrip One, and dumped on the shoreline, to ‘develop the land and facilitate extraction of resources and transfer them back to what was to become Airstrip One.

The chemical fire that has been releasing hydrochloric acid into the air in February 2023 is just the latest of a long history of extraction of resources, conversion of resources into toxic shit and release of that toxic shit into the environment, which started to get into high gear when Rockefeller set up primitive oil refineries in the 1860s and poured the unwanted byproducts of refining into the nearest stream because it was more profitable to operate that way.

The carnage associated with the remnant of Cyclone Gabrielle in February 2023 is just the latest of a long history of extraction of resources, conversion of resources into toxic shit and release of that toxic shit into the environment, which started to get into high gear when Rothschild Banking Empire set up loans for the New Zealand Company to construct a rail system to extract resources. in the 1870s and pour the unwanted byproducts of resource extraction into the nearest stream because it was more profitable to operate that way.

The really clever aspect of the corporations’ plan was to get the ignorant Proles to love the corporations and defend to the death the activitiesof the corporations.

That is The Ultimate Curse of the Corporations: Proles defending the activities of the coprorations because they love the corporations.

    The corporations are Big Brother.

    What Big Brother says, goes.

Except when Russia, China and Iran are involved.

    The War is Peace.

    Profit is Everything.

    ‘DOMINANCE HAS BIG ADVANTAGES

Obviously, severe storms raise remediation costs and to the extent they are insured, insurance companies pay those bills. And with reinsurers wary of taking on more risk, the insurers themselves face higher risk. Premiums are rising. By just how much was revealed by IAG in some public filings today. In New Zealand they raised premiums by +10.1% last year and said that was “largely due to rate increases” rather than winning new clients. As a consequence, they report their “insurance margin rose to 15.2%, up from 11.4%”, although to be fair that was before these latest rise in ‘perils’. They used the general ‘climate change’ narrative to bolster margins significantly, and from a dominant market position. Given that front-running, it is their turn to absorb the current spike in claims costs in 2023. They will do that, however they will undoubtedly use these events to hike premiums aggressively again. Front-running is a wonderful position for a dominant insurer. Oh, and by the way, IAG said its after tax profits rose +170% from the first half of 2021 to the first half of 2022.’

What has been missing from recent discussion is the deliberate manipulation of the populace of Airstrips by corporations using the techniques developed and promoted by Bernays, nephew of Freud, from the 1920s on.

‘As for the in-fighting in the Comments section on TAE, I have had enough of it. Probably some others have as well. How about if people stop calling each other rude names and instead write about what they know, on politics, medicine and everyday life?

If you want to insult people, why don’t you start your own blog instead of burdening TAE with your nonsense and name-calling?’

In essence, agree with that stance.

On the other hand, since many humans are nasty, manipulative creatures that like to feel superior to others and like to try force others to conform to their unscientific (anti-scientific) preconceived narratives/opinions and to denigrate anyone who disagrees, it is good to be reminded of that fact that not all people are well-informed, kind and cooperative. Indeed, a substantial portion of any population is uninformed, stupid, manipulative, selfish, greedy and cowardly and yet potentially vicious.

In NATOstan countries people with those traits tend to congregate into politics and bureaucracies. And in a lot of non-NATOstan countries too.

But such traits are not confined to the scum that have risen to the top of the financial-political-power pyramid of Airstrips. Airstrips are riddled with such people at all levels.

My manipulative, uninformed, psychotic neighbour took to firing water over the fence yesterday evening because I decided to move my lawns at around 5pm. That is the neighbour who was taken by ambulance, following a heart incident.

We know that one of the symptoms of the death jabs is impaired cognitive capacity. Indeed, a combination of impaired capacity to think and a stubborn refusal to look at the evidence is what caused so many to line up for the death jabs in the first place.

I carried on mowing. But I did stop to remind my nutty neighbour that the Scorpion, the cowardly liar that my nutty neighbour so adored, had run, as all cowardly liars do.

There are Jezzabels everywhere. And Quislings.

The affected regions are normally significant suppliers of citrus fruits, kiwifruit, grapes etc. and also kumara.

Presumably crops -especially fruit on trees and vines- will be significantly reduced, if not wiped out.

200mm of rain (8 inches) in a couple of days on top of the 200mm of a fortnight ago will be ‘interesting’.

Several days ago we had 21 mm overnight, here. None since. None expected for a while.

Sunflowers here are doing well. Well supported and protected by fences. Thanks.

Apples, peaches (from dwarf trees not affected by the curly leaf that hit standard trees), nectarines, strawberries, grapes, figs, sweetcorn, tomatoes on the menu atm. Pumpkins doing extraordinarily well. Potatoes somewhere under the greenery.
