    Basseterre,

Spanish PM Pedro Sánchez seems a much better candidate to break rank. Even if he mainly bases it on vaccine percentage.

They expected him to be as dumb as their own rugby players. He is not.

Djokovic wins in court, is released and can play the Open. Meanwhile, hating him has become the new sport in Australia.

Giovanni Bellini St. Francis in ecstasy 1480
That really is an amazing painting…

It is insanely rich, for 1480. If you click on it, you land at Wikipedia, where you can click through to pics of details. The one of Francis’s face tells you how good the whole thing is.

“Texas Teacher Put Son with Covid-19 in Car Trunk to Prevent Exposure, Warrant Says”

Apparently neither masks nor vaccines work?

No, but good news is: you’re safe in the trunk of your car. I was wondering if she put a mask on him while he was in there.,

And you’re thinking: can it get any worse? Well, in Canada, it can. This must be the most brainless thing I’ve ever seen. Let’s use a blackish girl and a white down syndrome kid to show you how great vaxxing children is. People get paid lots of money to come up with the concept, and then others get paid even more to “make it reality”.

Hospitalisation of children in England is the highest of any time during the entire pandemic

Yeah, but are they all there just because they tested positive? What lands a person in the hospital these days?

These people own no Pfizer shares, obviously.

    Adlertag,

..this is not about the number of deaths, it is about morbidity, what is the long term consequence of infection?

It is not useful to discuss this without including the long term consequence of injection.

The neoliberal anti vaxxers have read many times dismiss this as a mental issue. I know of people with the physical issues and it is not a fiction

I like the term “neoliberal anti vaxxers”, but I don’t know whop they are, or why they would matter. I thought anti vaxxers are all conservatives.

Omicron is nearly total human host immune evasive.

Our innate immune system, or just that constructed by vaccines? We need a question mark here.

It may be mild but it may be two years before we know what the implications of infection are.

Same with injection. Ergo: you can’t inject people, and certainly not forcibly.

Outbreaks in “care homes”. The seniors are dying. Ontario will give 4th dose to seniors

Prophylactics and -functional and cheap- HEPA air filter systems could have prevented much of this. Betcha neither were/are available. Welcome to square one.

In Israel last week, the first Omicron death was reported (out of 1,741 detected Omicron cases). The woman who died was fully vaxxed and boosted.

Doc, interesting, but not confirmed. Don’t think the US and UK cases really were either. It’s been 6 weeks since Omicron first was noted in SA, and it was likely around -and spreading- for (much?!) longer. The US case, IIRC, was 2 weeks ago, the UK one last week. How can they still the only ones, with a disease that spread 10+x faster than the previous one?

Eagerly awaiting for Raúl to post his take on Djokovic situation in Australia.

Paraphrased: “My medical situation is a private matter.” That’s it really.

Wondering what all these people will do when Omicron kills the pandemic in a few weeks. And which ones will be called to task.

There are two statements from Biden that have been sticking in my mind because they were so jarring. One was the “we’re losing our patience with you” blurb, and the other was the more recent one about “the winter of severe illness and death for the unvaccinated.” To me they are virtually unprecedented–no one in high political office in a functioning democracy would dare to speak to voters in such a way.

I don’t know, but looking at Macron, and the police in Holland, and the ongoing lockdowns in Europe, both the terms “unprecedented” and “functioning democracy” might need an update.

RFK: If a vaccine is introduced under EUA, the maker can’t be sued. When it IS approved, they can be sued. Unless they can get it recommended for children. That’s why 5 year olds are being jabbed.

in reply to: Debt Rattle Christmas Eve 2021 #96154

Yesterday she WAS wearing a face mask, and plastic versions of this one are also everywhere. Eerily appropriate paintings somehow. In Greece, starting today, face masks are mandatory outdoors again. And you thought this is where science was born…

    Absolute:

Maybe they are. Do we have any way of knowing?

Isn’t that exactly the problem? That we have no way of knowing? Biden talked about over 70%, while “official” numbers are 60%. But even then.. The same thing happens all over: the higher your reported numbers, the more shame you can deliver upon the unclean.

    Doc Robinson,

I have an article lined up for tomorrow that is on that track. https://www.medrxiv.org/content/10.1101/2021.12.20.21267966v2

    Someone commented on Twitter:

“Observational study from Denmark indicates that the mRNA vaccines protect for a few weeks only but then SIGNIFICANTLY AUGMENT Omicron infectivity. Is the immune system actually harmed, creating shot repetition dependency (with unknown long-term safety)?”

What exactly do we know about Paxlovid and molnupiravir so far? Doc Robinson? Wasn’t molnupiravir 30% effective in one study?

Yeah, zero, that number is also in the first article up above.

in reply to: Debt Rattle December 17 2021 #95487

The first positive PCR tests for Covid in the US were in Jan 2020. The first vaccine was “administered” in Dec 2020. In the 10-11 months between those dates, no early treatment was made available, and no prophylaxis. Why do you think that was? Trump was ridiculed for mentioning HCQ early in the game, and anti-Trump media still talk about his alleged -and false- push for bleach to be injected. Think maybe Pfizer and Fauci had this planned all along?

Might be a good question to ask of the vaccine crowd in 2022 (when they’re on their 18th shot). 11 months with no vaccine, and no attempts to find something that might work. ¿Perqué?

in reply to: Debt Rattle December 15 2021 #95352

    @Darkmatter

I don’t think there’s any denying that prophylaxis and early treatment have been denied across the board. Maybe that’s a starting point for such a conversation. All the lives lost to that. It may be more Malone than McCullough in the public perception by now, but their messages are very close.

They, like us, have to fight the one-sided, one-dimensional story this has become. Against the odds, and the tide. And politics. And Pfizer.

I for one admire both greatly. Not even for being always right, but for trying, for the energy they bring to the fight. Where would we be without those guys? They are not charlatans, they are highly decorated doctors made to look like something much less than they are.

You can just use the URL.

There was a French topflight footballer yesterday who was the 3rd in a few days to leave the game with heart/breathing issues, and Sergio Aguero, an absolute star player in the Premier League, announced the end of his career, also for heart issues. And there is NO link in any media to either Covid or vaccines in any of the 100s of afflicted athletes. We should open that discussion. There is zero chance that there is no relation.

in reply to: Debt Rattle December 15 2021 #95297

“The European Union’s drug regulator has recommended that a booster dose of Johnson & Johnson’s Covid vaccine may be given to adults at least 2 months after a first dose”

In the new year we’ll bring that back to two weeks. Just to be sure.
