ParticipantThanks for the clarity on how the galoots outright block/ban “free speech” on the inter-tubes.
Keep on keeping on Ilargi…so, so critically important on today’s Orwellian world stage…V. Arnold

ParticipantI don’t need to justify or detail anything I have done during this scamdemic.
Indeed Sir; you do not!
A hat tip for all you have done; keep on keeping on…………… 😉V. Arnold

Brutal describes it; and macabre to say the least…

Always awed by this man’s ability with a canvas-brush-and some oil colors…

A week plus and still counting? There must be a considerable fraction of the population that does not remember there was one at this point.
Indeed, apparently nothing works in the U.S. in wonderland…
Good to see you here; just got the internet back after a day with-out…rodent chewed through the fiber-optic line…V. Arnold

Crypto always seemed like the pet rock to me. I mean, I got it but didn’t get it at all. Guess I’m too stupid to get rich, but I can sleep at night.
Sums up my feelings pretty well…I never bought the hype…cheers

ParticipantFrancesco Queirolo Il Disinganno, Naples, Sansevero Chapel 1753-1754 (the netting is also all marble)
Definately worth pondering that sculpture; it nearly defies reality…

Participant“Fewer” a book of Demographic collapse. Which China is the front of now. But there’s no Science or Data in them, so like ignoramuses, they always draw straight-line conclusions that are dead-wrong. Science: Wrong Every Time. Heck, random chance and pure fiction is right at least SOME of the time. Also, no spike in deaths at all in 2020. Explain?
…because we’re in a giant washing machine; being cleansed of everything on a daily basis; get out while you still can………….

“A massively unpopular President, record inflation, a border in shambles, and yet…we’re just barely going to take the House?”It used to be normal for a ruling party to lose 50-60 seats in the midterms. Today, very few change sides, though the reasons to do so are glaringly obvious. That paints the picture of US politics. And media. Walking talking dead.
It shocks me into a catatonic state from which I barely regain some form of sanity; or what?
Nobody is actually doing anything…nobody…

A must read IMO…V. Arnold
ParticipantA few here believe public education is just dandy…
Public education is the major reason so few have any viable critical thinking skills.
Forced public education is the bane of populations where ever it exists…
It is the major driving force of totalitarian/fascit governments…V. Arnold

Participant@V Arnold re: machinist
In a healthy society, you’d be treated like royalty. Instead, you get your legs broke and get chained to your workstation. I have had a very good boss for 20+ years. However, even he has to ‘screw me over’ sometimes or he can’t stay in business. I’ve never been very connected to The System. I’m edging closer to cutting those last ties.
Thanks for that input…
I didn’t need royalty; just respect and credit for a job well done…simple really but beyond employer’s grasp…V. Arnold

The most important part of my post, I totally forgot to include…

ParticipantYou can catch a whisper of what else is going on if you listen to the frequent rants heard from the managerial class these days about how young people just don’t want to work any more.
Talk to the young people in question and you’ll find that quite a few of them are working very hard on projects of their own. What they’re not willing to do is waste their lives working in abusive and humiliating environments to make someone else rich, in exchange for rock-bottom wages, no prospect for advancement, and no benefits worth mentioning. That their reaction comes as a surprise to anyone is a good measure of just how detached our society’s comfortable classes have become from the reality their preferred policies have created. There it is in a nut-shell……….abuse, no benefits/healthcare worth a shit!!! Or anything else for a decent retirement life…
I left, and I retired at 62 with sufficient SS for a decent, respectable life abroad…
I was a master machinist and treated like garbage…My revenge is living well with good healthcare, and having $500 to $1,000 in my pocket at any given time…

ParticipantAs near as I can tell; critical thinking skills are lacking in 99 – 99.9% of all humans…
It has become the catch phrase of the internet crawlers…
Hive mentality has rendered it a useless artifact…for the majority?V. Arnold
ParticipantIlargi’s Debt Rattles pretty accurately reflect the world as it is in his everyday postings…
Rather than a call to action; I see it as simply the thing we have to deal with on any given day…Living day by day (in the now) pretty much effectively deals with things on a daily basis IMO…

ParticipantPillars of Creation, known from Hubble, now captured by Webb telescope. Each pillar is about 3 light-years (over 27 trillion km) in width.
How does one comprehend that?
I think we don’t; not really, comprehend that imensity of distance…

ParticipantBrian talks of a repeat of Ukraine underway in Thailand, with US-backed fascists and billionaires stirring up trouble, with the intention of installing yet another US proxy government, presumably to loot Thailand and establish a base to launch an attack on China.
As a 20 year resident of Thailand; I see nothing even close to this alarmist piece of garbage.
Brian thinks because he’s written x number of articles this gives him some special gift of observation…it does not!
Comparing Ukraine to Thailand is ludicrous at best; and self serving at worst…
Oh, and I’ve also lived here through 2 military coups with zero problems thankyou very much… -
