A few months ago I noted that a major MSM reporter penned an article explaining why Trudeau needed a new jet. Well, lo and behold, Justin has a brand new big foreign made jet! I guess a Canadian made Challenger jet just wasn’t good enough for Justin to fly in. So being the climate change hypocrite that he is, he has greatly increased his carbon footprint!
As a hypocrite, Justin also doesn’t believe he needs to obey his own mask rules requiring all Canadians to wear a mask, while riding in a train.
I am still waiting for the US army to kick out their unvaccinated soldiers. They have already taken such steps against all unvaccinated National Guard soldiers. The reason the US army will do so is because the unvaccinated army soldiers are considered politically unreliable by the deep state. These army soldiers need to be purged. This all goes back to what Obama started, in 2008, purging the US army’s officier Corp of politically unreliable officers and only promoting politically correct officers.
That the US army is having trouble recruiting new cannon folder will be viewed as signs of success by the deep state. They don’t want to recruit loyal patriots. Thus the extensive background checks.
Failure to retain (purging) existing soldiers again is viewed as further sign of success. Afterall the army is viewed by the deep state as a serious competitor to their future designs. I think it isn’t an accident that all of the western countries have been deliberately reducing the sizes of their militaries, even as most of their populations have increased.
Since the weather is nice and warm, Biden will use it to declare a climate emergency so he can stuff the ballot boxes in November again!
Since Joe wants higher energy prices, why did he venture to the middle east to ask them to increase oil production? Afterall joe is doing his very best to shutdown US oil and gas production!
Right now the USD is considered strong as measured by the USD index.
Most of the USD index consists of the Euro and the Yen.
Both the Euro and Yen have fallen greatly as the US Fed has started raising interest rates above zero while the central banks of Europe and Japan are trying to keep interest rates below zero.
Naturally the Euro and Yen have started falling being sacrificed by their central banks determination to prevent their interest rates from rising.
Would you consider the USD to be strong, solely based upon the increased stupidity of other country’s central banks exceeding the US Fed’s own stupidity?
Right now you can buy an ounce of paper gold for $1,700 USD, down from $2,000, and an ounce of paper silver for $18, down from $27.USD. Good luck trying to buy real gold or silver at these low paper prices!

These last few days Germ sure has been on fire. The covid vaccine war is still doing it’s deadly work. For most people, they have no idea there is a covid vaccine war raging.
Isn’t it amazing how the climate fight against carbon has now silently slipped in fertilizers to it’s hit list and nobody seems to have noticed this addition. Is oxygen next on the WEF’s hit list?
On July 4th, my 93 year old aunt, living in Ottawa, died. Her funeral service at her church could not be scheduled until 3 PM August 6th, slightly more than a month from now. I believe this is the third service to be held at the church that day.
This just goes to show that the dying business, per Germ, is booming because more people than normal are now dying from the vaccines. From what I have observed, most people are completely clueless that death rates are now higher.
My entire family is currently at the cottage, enjoying the short Canadian summer. That of course includes my daughter’s pet dawf Dutch rabbit, Moki. This is her 7th summer here at the cottage. I built an 8 foot wide by 16 foot long and 6 foot high walk-in enclosure to protect her from any wild animals such as ccoyotes, raccoons, mink, foxes, hawks, and owls.
Well up until this year that also kept the chipmunks at bay too. The chipmunks pose no danger to Moki, except, if they can, they will just eat her out of house and home! You just can’t keep her bowl of food full as the bold little chipmunks will clean it out in just a few minutes! Well it seems a wooden piece of Moki’s cage, lying on the ground, rotted and the chipmunks quickly discovered this and then staged “a break and enter” operation!
I am pleased to report that the 2 local chipmunks are now again very frustrated chipmunks because they can see and smell Moki’s food bowl but can’t partake of it’s riches! Moki is now back to her usual business of digging new tunnels in the sandy soil, something she can’t really do back home in Toronto due to the thick and dense clay soil.
Last Friday, all day, and all night too, Roger’s our phone/internet provider was down for at least 18 hours. Another reason why Roger’s should not be allowed to buy and merge with Shaw Communications. Roger’s needs to invest more in insuring their systems becoming more reliable instead of buying out their competition.
Per Russia, almost 7,000 mercenaries flocked to the Ukraine to fight Russia. Just under 2,000 mercenaries have managed to leave (escape alive) the Ukraine. Just over 2,000 mercenaries have been killed. That leaves just 3,000 mercenaries left in the Ukraine.
Ukraine commanders have a huge incentive to kill off their highly paid mercenaries, not report their deaths, so they can continue collecting the mercenaries’ paychecks!
A little war isn’t going to stop the Ukrainian’s black market!
For the Dutch farmers, the Dutch gov has now authorized the police to shoot the farmers in their tractors. So the Dutch gov has now crossed this Rubicon. Vilolence is now OK.
Freezing BDutch farmer’s bank accounts cannot be very far behind. I just hope Dutch farmers have taken notes on what happened in Canada and prepared accordingly. Their leaders will be soon arrested and jailed.
I saw where some Dutch under cover police dressed up as farmers and infiltrated a protest. Then they began trying to turn the protest violent. The peaceful protesters saw this and confronted the undercover police, forcing them to retreat to a police van for protection, but not before pulling out hidden police batons.
Hopefully the Dutch farmers succeed where the Canadian truckers failed. But I doubt it. It is probably already too late.
One thing the Ukrainian do every time they retreat is abandon all their wounded (and dead) to the Russians. I suspect this reflects the Ukrainian’s lack of medical help within their own ranks and the fact that the Ukrainians know the Russians are more capable of assisting the wounded. It also likely reflects on the very poor state the retreating Ukrainian urvivors are in too.
Recently I saw some huge Ukrainian casualties figures of about 5,500, likely from a city the Russians took recently. About 2,000 were killed and about 3,500 wounded.
The recent closed cauldron has shortened Russian frontlines from about 78 miles to just 25 miles. Since a battalion usually covers about 3 miles of front line, this frees up about 15 battalions for 2 weeks of rest. So maybe we will see a lull in the Russian attack?
The Ukrainian gov has issued orders that all draft age men are not allowed to leave the cities, towns, or villages where they live. They have also demanded Nato round up all Ukrainian men in Europe and send them back to the Ukraine. More recently they have issued orders saying draft age Ukrainian women are now not allowed to leave their regions. All of this is obviously designed to make rounding up new cannon fodder easier, for the still in control, Nazis.
Clearly fighting this war to the last Ukrainian is becoming inceasingly more difficult. The Ukrainian cannon fodder that couldn’t escape the country, has often gone into hiding. I suspect the Ukrainian women will soon be joining their hidden men folk. Then who will be left to keep the hidden fed?
Sadly it looks like the Dutch farmers protest is going to end exactly the same way Canada’s trucker freedom convoy did.

Some very good thought provoking comments today. Sobering and sad thoughts about the covid vaccine war on us little people too.
Since 2014 the US/Nato’s military strategy in the Ukraine was to establish fixed lines of fortifications so the Russians would bleed themselves to death attempting a frontal assault. (The French tried that in WW2 too.)
The Russians responded to this by moving armored forces forward until resistance is encountered, then pulling these forces back out of harms way. Then they proceed to shell the encountered line of resistance until they are satisfied resistance has been largely crushed.
Then Russian armored forces move forward to take the encountered line of resistance. If resistance is still stiff, the armored forces pull back again and the shelling resumes. If resistance is weak the armored forces move forward mopping up any remaining resistance. There is very little direct soldier to soldier fighting involved.
This Russian strategy greatly reduces Russian casualties while greatly increasing Ukrainian casualties. The key to using this strategy is to give local Russian commanders all the time they need to fight each battle they face. Notice Russia has set no rigid timelines to achieve their goals. Russia has deliberately choosen to fight each battle slowly.
If a given battle is deemed too costly to attack directly, then the Russians flow like water toward weaker areas to attack, often leaving strong points to collapse on their own, after being surrounded.
The strategy around Kiev and particularly Karkow was first move quickly toward these 2 cities, then slowly retreat away from the 2 cities. This has had the affect of drawing Ukrainian forces defending the 2 cities out of the cities into the open countryside and small towns/villages where Ukrainian forces have been very badly mauled by Russian shelling. Expect Russian forces to move forward towards Karkow when the timing is right.
There certainly seems to be a method to Russia’s madness! However the US/Nato strategy has simply gone up in smoke! What were they thinking? They certainly were not thinking the frontline Ukrainians would be busy selling western military equipment to the Russians for cents on the dollar!

The Ukraine must be winning the war so greatly that they now need to resort to bombing their own empty shutdown shopping centers to prove Russia is losing the war! Three new Ukrainian brigades that had just completed their training got canceled at each of their 3 training centers by Russia. Sadly these canceled Ukrainians never even got a chance to be shoved into the frontlines to serve as cannon fodder. It is hard to believe the Ukraine has so much cannon fodder.

I am back at the island cottage as my son is enjoying 2 weeks of vacation after working up north on Manituilan Island in northern Lake Huron. I try to drop in every evening to the TAE to see what is happening.
Yes the badness about the horrible effects that the vaccines have done keeps coming out of the woodwork along with more government efforts to suppress such knowledge. The one question I have not seen an answer to is whether the negative effects of the vaccines are permanent or whether over time the natural immune system will regain it’s former functional status?
Certainly the vaccines where a great economic success adding to GDP in the same manner as breaking windows does. The vaccines more than paid for themselves in reducing government pension payouts by killing off present and future pension recipients.
In corrupt Ukraine there is a connection between these two random statements. Ukrainian commanders under counting their dead, particularly foriegn mercenaries. Ukrainian troops complaining they are being left at the front without any officiers to lead them.
Ukrainian officiers certainly believe in not letting a good crisis go to waste. Ukrainian commanders are certainly leading their men. But just not in the manner you would expect. By under counting their soldier’s deaths, commanders continue to collect the dead soldier’s pay. This scheme only works however, if the commander avoids accidently getting himself killed.
One way to speed up the ollection of such monies, is to quickly kill off the mercenaries under your command. Often mercenaries are being ordered into forward positions when there is a general retreat. An example of this is ordering mercenaries to hold a town across the river and then blowing up the last remaining bridge, leaving the trapped mercenaries to their fate with the Russians. As such, the supply of new mercenaries has dried up!
Once the Ukrainian commander has collected sufficient monies, he can then leave retiring for parts unknown.
As always corruption rules in the Ukraine! A war certainly isn’t going to stop the corruption!

Russia lobbies 50,000 152 mm artillery shells every day at the Ukrainians.
The Ukrainians lobby back 5,000 artillery shells back at the Russians every day.
The Ukrainians can’t throw artillery shells as far as the Russians can.Prez Z says they are losing 100 killed a day.
The pentagon admits 200 Ukrainians killed a day.Per Prez Z, it takes the Russians 500 shells to kill 1 Ukrainian!
The US says it is taking the Russians 250 shells to kill 1 Ukrainian.Based upon WW1 & 2 experiences, big artillery is far deadlier than that!
If it takes the Russians 100 shells a day to kill 1 Ukrainian, then 500 Ukrainians are dying every day.
What if the Russians only need 50 shells a day to kill 1 Ukrainian? That is 1,000 dead Ukrainians a day.

I would think if you have planted some cherry tomatoes you would probably be eating some in your salads by now. The earliest my Mother had cherry tomatoes here in southern Ontario was early to mid July. My Father especially liked the cherry tomatoes to eat with his sandwiches at work.
The big tomatoes started coming late July or early August. Then it was BLT time!

I am surprised you are having problems growing tomatoe plants from seeds.
My Mother used to start her tomato plants in those little compressed peat pots with netting where you add water and they expand to about an inch tall. As the little tomato plants started sprouting, she would daily rotate the plants 180 degrees to offset their tendency to tilt towards the sunlight. This seemed to help the stem toughen up too.
Then as spring arrived, she would put the plants into a cold frame for the day, bring them indoors if necessary. This was to toughen the plants up. On warm sunny days, not too windy, she would remove a few of the cold frame top covers, to allow a little wind exposure, again to toughen up the plant stems.
If there was no danger of it freezing at night, then she would leave the plants out in the cold frame with the top covers on plus buckets of water for insurance.
I certainly think outdoor exposure was critical to the tomato plant’s success.
Your idea of creating glass mini greenhouses as required mimics what my Mother was doing. My Father was a big help setting up the cold frame early every spring so it was ready as spring’s eradic weather permitted the transition from indoors to outdoors.
My Father grew up gardening in Saskatchewan. There the growing season for tomatoes is too short. To grow tomatoes, they started the tomatoe plants indoors, then to a cold frame, and then to the garden once the fear of frost had past.
However to get any tomatoes, they would only allow 1 or 2 tomatoes to grow on each plant by pruning the other flowers. I think they also pruned many of the leaves so as to force the tomato plant to put all of it’s energy into just the 1 or 2 tomatoes rather than growing bigger. They also securely tied each tomato plant and the branches with a tomato, to a stake.
Then in the fall before frost hit, they would then pick all of the green tomatoes and put them on the window still to ripen. I believe they got some ripen red tomatoes before first frost.
Clearly growing tomatoes is a labor of love.
P.S. By cold frame, I am referring to a simple home made enclosed wooden frame covered in plastic about 18 inches tall, with removable top panels, that can be taken apart and stored till the next spring. In Russia some of their cold frame’s top removable panels were likely old glass window frames or purpose made glass panels. Cold frames are like green houses except you can not walk into them.

There has been a major shift in the war against Russia to the last Ukrainian. The Ukrainian War is losing out to more important things like the Jan 6 coverage. The Ukraine is now no longer getting front page coverage from the MSM. Ukrainians may still be dying but now nobody even notices!
When I was in Siberia in 1983, gardening was a big deal. Everyone who could had a garden. Not only that they all started plants indoors by the southern exposure windows, then transferred them to cold frames usually with buckets of water in them to keep the young plants from freezing during early spring nights. All of this gardening effort totally absorbed all of their free time.

I think both of them would have reached the same conclusion, I did about not getting vaxxed.

Her nursing background plus work experience wasn’t always complementary towards the medical profession.
She had to see a clear benefit to offset the risks.Example: My Father hurt his back lifting a spare tire out of the car trunk. The back doctors all said surgery. My Mother said not before giving the back a chance to heal on it’s own. My Father spent many months flat on his back in bed. He slowly recovered.
As a nurse, you probably see much of what my Mother saw too.
Right now the Ukrainian War is mostly focused in the Donbas region. The rest of the Ukraine is relatively quiet. The front contact line is basically an artillery duel. The artillery duel favors Russia with it’s superior artillery.
The main reason Russia has been forced to go slow is the presence of some Ukrainian artillery. As long as the Ukraine has some artillery, the Russians have to remain wary of closing in on the Ukrainian front lines too quickly or too soon. This fact allows the Ukrainians time to keep feeding fresh troops into the front lines to replace lost troops.
This also why the US/Nato are currently feeding more artillery into the Ukraine. It is the best way to prolong the war against Russia to the last Ukrainian. It also supports the Ukrainian black market too!
Interestingly, if an Ukrainian accepts a Russian passport, they no longer need to worry about any debts they owe to Ukrainian banks!
In Russian controlled areas of the Ukraine, Rubles are quickly replacing Ukrainian currency. It looks like existing Ukrainian banks are being converted into Russian banks. Ukrainian pensions are now being paid in Rubles.
Nothing conquers a country faster than sound money!
Now Ukrainian women are being drafted into the army to help replace army manpower losses. I am going to guess the number of Ukrainians trying to leave the Ukraine will begin to drop significantly! No doubt an European idea to stem the flow of Ukrainians!
Now Ukrainian women will need to bribe border officials to leave the country just like their men folk! Maybe that is the real reason for drafting women now! More Payola! The downside to equality!
