ParticipantRegarding that Chinese nickel short.
The London Metal Exchange has done exactly what I said they would!
Change the rules! Yup! The LME has ring fenced the problem.
The banks won’t issue any more margin calls.
The Chinese guy will keep his shorts.
Everybody is now going about business as usual as if the problem doesn’t exist!
So they are all pretending!WES
ParticipantThat missile strike at the Peace Keeping base seems to have taken more than a few souls. Lots of contractors it seems. They will start being discovered missing soon. Three British so far. US is next to fess up. Brazilians don’t count.
Mariopol seems to be yielding some civilians finally. Russians are clearly taking their time to clear out the neo-nazis. The Ukrainian army is not going anywhere! They are in Hotel California! They can check out any time they want, but they can’t leave! Per the US Pentagon, the Russians are only flying 200 sorties a day!
I have concluded that Putin is the most “responsible person” in Washington, DC!
Putin is responsible for everything bad that happens; like inflation, high gas prices, Ukrainian invasion, food shortages, etc! So Putin is the only adult in town!Washington is having a private conference call with the prez of Ukraine to divie up the $14 billion in aid. It is a big club and you ain’t in it! So no money for you!
A Ukrainian chemical false flag operation should happen any day now.
Clearly covid false flag operations are happening as we speak.

Many people do not know that in preparation for the D-Day Normandy landings the Allies had a gasoline supply pipeline ready to cross the English Channel and had it operational in a couple of days after landing. They then extended the pipeline forward as the front moved towards Germany.
As for trucks there was the Red Ball Express. Military Police set up one way highways for only these supply trucks and nobody else. One going and one returning. The Americans knew their supply math very, verý well!
It is funny that Eisenhower had virtually no power over the US Quarter Master General! Eisenhower specifically told him he was forbidden to set up his supply headquarters in Paris and commandeered all of the best hotels in Paris. Guess what! He did exactly that and there wasn’t a dam thing Eisenhower could do to stop him! He was that powerful!
I remember an unusal interview of a German POW in Normandy asking where all the Allied horses were! The Germans used horses to move everything! German generals in their planning figured they held the advantage in France because they had local supplies of feed for their horses but the Allies would have to bring over all the feed for their horses! Seems hard to believe but it is true.
The reality was the Germans had a limited auto/truck industry not to mention fuel supplies (Canada produce more trucks than Germany!). That is why they put all of their mobile units into a few elite Panzer divisions. In WW2 the Germans used more than twice the number of horses than they used in WW1!

ParticipantUsing sanctions, the west has stopped the flow of Russian mining supplies of gold and silver into the London Metal Exchange (LME). Russia is a major gold and silver producer.
A great deal of each months future supplies from Russian mines are already factured into LME’s future options for delivery, say for example, September 2022. Now this gold is no longer physically available for delivery in September 2022! The Russian central bank is buying all of it instead!
So what will the LME do? Simple the LME will change the rules of the gold and silver game just like they did for nickel recently! Have you noticed any nickel being traded recently? No!
As we speak gold and silver prices are falling despite rising inflation and war.
Good luck trying to buy any physical gold or silver though! There is none available at today’s low dollar prices!
However, you can buy all the fake paper gold you want! Yes, the LME desperately needs you to buy all of their fake paper gold to help them continue their gold and silver scam!
As they say, if you don’t hold it, you don’t own it!

The Germans had to use railways for the same reason Russia has to. The Ukraine is a big country.
But the Russians have one big advantage over the Germans!
Ukrainian and Russian railway gauges are the same, so no need for unloading and reloading freight! As for the war for Mariopol, it will be over shortly. The place is a mess, so nobody really wins, but the neo-nazis didn’t lose. They just died, taking as many of the locals as they could with them.

Yes paying attention to your surroundings is what saved my Father both times!
He was in thick chest high scrub bush when he heard the bear cubs in Saskatchewan and quickly climbed the nearest tree. Then he met angry momma bear but not until after she had first treed her own cubs! Only then did my Father see the unhappy bear cubs! I don’t think the cubs were very happy about the manner in which the momma bear chased them up the tree! Because of the thick bush my Father stayed up in the tree for several hours until a co-worker came looking for him.
In Quebec, much more open, he saw the bear cubs and quickly climbed the nearest tree. Then he had a quick introduction to another angry momma bear! This time he saw the bears leave and knew when it was safe to climb down from the tree.
Unlike most folks my Father knew about black bears and what they could do. He was in charge of the company’s exploration program, so had years of experience camping out in the north. It was not unusual for a Beaver float plane to strap a canoe to it’s pontoon struts and land in a remote lake leaving him for a week or two before coming back to pick him up. Thus my Father’s tents often had new back doors remodeled in them!
My Father said that whenever the black bears held an empty can, just to lick it clean, their claws always punctured holes in the sides of the can! That was another way my Father knew he was in bear country!
In the summer, my Father had many remote drill camps scattered around the north. To service them he had a large fleet of float planes and a sea plane base to operate from. Due to an accident with a gun, the drillers were not allowed to have guns. But they did have dynamite! So when the drillers had a problem bear, that was not afraid of them and would come into their camp (usually driven by hunger due to the blueberry crop failing), they would often try to kill the bear with a stick of dynamite.
One time the drillers sadly only succeeded in blowing off half of the bears face. Then they radioed my Father to please send a native hunter with the bear gun to track the injured bear down and kill it.
My Father’s favorite bear gun radio message. “At first the bear was afraid of us, now the reverse is true! Please send the bear gun!”

ParticipantThe major problem with Keynes’ economic theories was politicians only heard the first part of what he said, the part that sounded good, but failed to hear the second half, which did not sound so good.
If Keynes was so brilliant, he would have known a little bit about human psychology and adjusted his message accordingly, but he didn’t.
I don’t know too much about Einstein’s E = mc2, but I do know he was a great psychologist, like Yogi Bera. Einstein knew all there was to know about human insanity!

ParticipantMy Father used to say, you know you are in bear country when your tent has a new back door!

ParticipantDr. John Day & Formerly T-Bear:
WW2 was a direct result of Keynes negotiations at the end of WW1. He helped abolished bill of lading financial transactions widely in use before WW1 to cripple Germany as a manufacturer going forward, no doubt to our current masters great advantage.
So one could say he was a brilliant bastard. And we have paid the price and suffered ever since for his brilliant stupidity.
Another thing to keep in the back of your mind, is one of the likely intended but secondary results, of FDR banning private US gold ownership and then re-pegging gold from $20.67 USD to $35 USD. Besides the obvious of increasing the value of gold reserves 69% allowing for the printing of more USD by the Fed, the secondary issue was of rising concern by bankers of a coming war in Europe.
The concern by the bankers were the very large gold reserves held by many European banks that could potentially fall into German hands. By raising the USD price of gold to $35, this addressed this concern by attracting most of these large gold reserves into the US. That is how US gold reserves swelled to over 28,000 tons so quickly.
After WW2, as Europe recovered, these gold flows reversed, returning to their original owners, causing US gold reserves to fall back to 8,000 tons. I think this was the plan but Vietnam kind of put a monkey wrench into the plan. Instead of the gold flow stopping after 8,000 tons, the Vietnam War money printing instead drove those holding fiat USD to wanting to take it all the way to zero!
You know the best plans of mice and men! Besides most of the original 1934 bankers were probably dead by the 1960s! They probably never imagined the Fed would print unbacked USDs either. How stupid of them to “assume” so!
Just something you never see written in history books.

This is either the result of our government successfully censoring us or the fact that the Russians are running a very tight ship.
WES
ParticipantThere really isn’t very much new news coming out of the eastern part of what used to be the Ukraine.
The Russians are running a tight media ship. The Russians occupy an area the size of Norway, or Japan, with just 200,000 troops. That is more than 1 square kilometer per Russian soldier.
It looks like the Russian special forces have pushed the remaining neo-nazis in the Marupol cauldron into the center of the city during night operations. The city could be secured anywhere from a few days to a week. Once finished then these special forces will be free to be deployed elsewhere, like maybe Odessa.
The Russians want to secure the entire Ukrainian Black Sea coatal areas to make the New Ukraine a land locked country. So the Odessa cauldron is probably next. Kiev can wait, as Kiev no longer controls anything much any more.
The 2 Donbas cauldrons can also wait. I wonder how much food these neo-nazis have? There will be no “Get Out of Jail Passes” for these guys. Interestingly, the Russians will be setting up their war crimes court in Donbas, because the Donbas still has the death penalty, while Russia does not. Remind you of the US’s Cuba base?
Clearly the Donbas Ukrainians are not going to see their motherland any time soon.
The prez of the Ukraine has been busy the last few days making a new dance video to help the Ukrainians win the virtual war. Afterall Biden truly believes winning the virtual war is all that really matters.
A strange 1984 war where losing is winning.
The size of the New Ukraine will be directly proportional to the length of time the US refuses to let the Ukraine negotiate.

ParticipantSome commodities are up a bit like oil, wheat, and nickel. Just to be totally irrelevant here are the melt values of some olde US and Canadian pennies and nickels. Note the Canadian penny is no more. Only the US still has a worthless penny. (Quoted March 8th, 2022 for Nickel @ $17.32 USD / pound.)
US
Penny from 1909 to 1982 (98% copper) = 3.1 US cents
Penny from 1982 to 2014 (97.5% zinc) = 1.08 US cents
Nickel from 1946 to 2014 () = 8.6 US centsCanada
Penny from 1942 to 1977 () = 3.29 US cents
Penny from 1978 to 1979 () = 3.27 US cents
Penny from 1980 to 1981 () = 2.83 US cents
Penny from 1982 to 1996 () = 2.52 US cents
Penny from1997 to 1999 () = 0.096 US cents
Nickel from 1955 to 1981 () = 17.6 US cents
Nickel from 1982 to 1999 () = 7.9 US cents
(I don’t have % copper or Nickel of Cdn coins but the % kept dropping to zero!)As you can see the Canadian government of Justin’s father was real busy use debasing Canada’s currency, long before US did.
So if you still have some of these old coins then they are the only fiat money you have left that have kept some of their value.
All the new coins in both US and Canada are now made of worthless steel you can pick up with a magnet! Very magnetic they are! Will also rust if you aren’t careful!
Oh yeah, Nickel prices have gone limit up for the last week or two. That means no Nickel is being traded on the London Metal Exchange. The National Post says Canadians are too cheap to buy Trudeau a new plane. Clearly kissing ass here! Why does Trudeau need a new plane when nobody wants him to visit them?
So Poland is going to give the US their Mig-29 airplanes. Actually sell them to the US government care of a certain airport in Germany. Actually this is a Polish joke that the US can’t figure out what the punchline is!
To help Americans neocons get the joke.
A polish guy is jumping up and down on top of a manhole cover in Washington, DC. yelling 46! A passing DC neocon stops and asks the Polish guy why he is jumping up and down yelling 46? The Polish guy says it is really exciting to do this and he should give it a try because he might find it really exciting too. So the DC neocon starts jumping up and down yelling 46! The Polish guy quickly removes the manhole cover and then puts it back in place. The Polish guy then starts jumping up and down on the manhole cover again yelling 47!

For some strange reason the Russian military likes to make cauldrons. They have made 4 of them in the Ukraine so far. Maybe it has something to do with America’s fascination with witches. Maybe the Russians are ust trying to drive the US mad using by toying with cauldrons. You know like Salem, where an early aunt of mine was hung as the first legal witch. Obviously the Russian are throwing Ukrainian babies into these cauldrons and saying witchy words, like real US witches do.Deflate where are you when we need you? Oh. I see you are busy going round and round DC on the beltway! Did they accidently close all of the exit ramps? Hope you like Hotel California!
I have seen with my very own eyes a Ukrainian health official reporting 59 dead, seen lying in moving body bags on the ground directly behind him. One of the closest dead, was especially busy trying to keep the wind from repeatably uncovering him! There is always a rotten actor in the casket!
I see Biden’s Build Back Better plan is finally going to be passed by the Republicans! He has discovered the winning formula by adding $14 billion in aid for the Ukraine, so Congress can get it’s last load of dirty laundry cleaned in it’s Ukrainian laundromat before Vlad shuts it down! Since the Ukraine isn’t going to exist shortly, nobody is going to ask stupid questions like what ever happened to that $14 billion?
So gold finally broke $2,000 US today. But oddly have you noticed that silver has barely moved from say $24 to $25 despite all of this crazy war talk? You see it only takes a measly $25 million to control a million ounces of silver. Ten million ounces of silver is only another measly $250 million! Mere chicken feed for the Fed! By suppressing silver prices they can neuter gold prices too without breaking a sweat. The current silver to gold ratio is about 80 to 1. So by controlling the 1 it gives the Fed amplified control over the 80. See how it works! Like stealing candy from a baby! It will keep on working until the baby wakes up “woke”, which is never, due to our educational brainwashing system.

ParticipantMy take on the Ukraine is that the Ukraine has lost the war to defend itself. None of it’s 4 main army groups can move. They are now all trapped in 4 military cauldrons from which there is now no escape.
The first and biggest cauldron is in eastern Ukraine along the Donbas border. The second cauldron is around the coastal city of Maripol. The third cauldron is around the capital city of Keiv. The fourth cauldron
and maybe the second biggest, is around the coastal city of Odessa. All that remains is local fighting. The Russians are moving slowly, so slowly they would make Hitler wonder if he was even moving!

Yes current oil production is still rising slowly but that is due to investment decisions made pre-Trudeau (like 10 plus years ago).
If you look at greatly reduced investments made since Trudeau entered power you will see what I am talking about! Canadian oil production will stop growing and level off at some point due to the lack of current investments to increase future oil production.
You will also notice since Trudeau came to power, that all of the world’s biggest oil companies have divested themselves from Alberta/Canada.

It is so hypocritical of Trudeau to say Canadian oil could replace Russian oil when he is busy doing what Biden is doing! Shutting down as much Canadian oil and gas production as he can under his green plan.

ParticipantOroboros:
In my world wide mining construction career, I never once faced that problem!
The reason was simple. Our construction sites were always in the middle of nowhere! In a middle of a muddy field, or a corn or wheat field. And there were no women around! One had to drive to reach the job site. Dam it, nobody ever builds a mine in a nice place!
You where of course located in the middle of civilization! Lucky you!
Only at one job site did I ever see any women around. And for a very sad reason too. That was on the Navajo Indian reservation near Window Rock, Arizona. On Thursdays, pay day, some of the women and their children would come and wait outside the gate for their men folk to finish work.
One really sad episode was a woman and her 2 early teenage children waiting. She had the kids stationed around the perimeter of the construction site so the man couldn’t sneak out unseen. They were very determined to separate him from his paycheck!
At quiting time some of the man’s co-workers (likely drinking buddies) tried to sneak him out but failed. The in pursuit family members managed to catch up with the man and knock him to the ground. They then preceeded to kick the shit out of him until he yielded his paycheck. It was quite a sight to see the man’s children kick their father in the head repeatedly not to mention everywhere else on the body.
All of this was the result of alcoholism. I remember the forman saying “I’ll bet the family hasn’t eaten in a week!” All because he probably drank his entire paycheck and never came home. Interestingly none of the other men intervened in this matter and the man didn’t fight back once caught but just took his medicine lying down. I believe the family just left him there for his co-workers to deal with, likely to drown his sorrows over some beers. Not a happy memory.

If I remember correctly Chernobyl melted down because some stupid PHDs were doing something they had no business doing! That is why it is so difficult to engineer fail safes against these kinds of brilliant idiots! They bypass all the safeties engineered into a system!
It is now thought that the Ukrainian army had gathered about 150,000 troops along the Donbas border in preparation for an invasion on the morning of February 23! That also means most of the Ukrainian army’s heavy equipment is also along the Donbas border. From invasion maps notice that the battle lines along the Donbas border have barely moved at all. Ukrainian army units dug in along the Donbas border can not move out of their positions unless they want to be slaughtered out in the open. So they are trapped in place and can only watch and wait to see what happens next.
One thing the Ukrainian army is doing, when possible, is moving into towns and cities where they have cover not to mention human shields. It is for that very reason the Russians are taking their time. They do not want to kill any civilians nor flatten places that will then need to be rebuilt.
Another thing to notice is the Ukrainian army likely never even considered the possibility of the Russians striking the Ukrainian Donbas forces from the rear via the Crimea! Because most of the Ukrainian army is well dug in (8 years) along the Donbas border, the middle area of the Ukraine is basically empty of any major forces, which makes the Russian forces striking from the Crimea such a brilliant move. It would have been very easy for the Ukrainian army to have bottled the Russian Crimea forces up, if they had thought to do so before hand. Instead the Russian forces from the Crimea are basically moving rapidly east, north, and west into lightly guarded territory. The Russians basically have control of the entire Black Sea coasts. This is a major Ukrainian military blunder, one most nicely set up by the CIA (likely on purpose).
Russian forces from the south and from the north will soon cut the eastern half of the Ukraine in half any day now.
As for the Ukrainian Prez, so far he has managed to avoid death from falling anvils and pianos. His problem is both the neo-nazis and the CIA are out to kill him. So far they have killed one of the Ukrainian negotiators as a traitor and ordered another kill order on another Ukrainian gov official. So things must be going to script.
That Deflate is back from the Ukrainian war, I have to surmise Deflate must have considered fighting the the Ukraine disinformation war to be a lost cause. Obviously Deflate didn’t take his superior’s hint to volunteer for their “boots on the ground” promotion! So now Deflate is back fighting domestic right wing nazis instead of promoting neo-nazis winning the war in the Ukraine. It is really nice to see Deflate doesn’t let little things like principles, get in the way of his good work!

ParticipantWe know Russia has banned Nitrogen exports, one of the main ingredients of fertilizer. This means we are also having a food war. Fertilizer is usually made up of varying amounts of nitrogen, phosphorus, and potassium, commonly know as NPK. (Disclaimer: In a previous life, I worked in phosphate mines in Morroco and Jordan.)
In the US the 4 major crops are corn (maize), soybeans, wheat, and cotton, using about 60% of all commercial fertilizer. Corn (about 80 million acres) and soybeans (about 90 million acres) are by far the largest crops by acreage. Corn uses about 40% of all commercial fertilizer while soybeans use only 10%.
Soybeans being legumes can fix their own nitrogen. Corn however cannot sequester it’s own nitrogen. Also during harvesting most of the corn plant is removed. For soybeans much of the plant is returned to the soil. So corn needs about 4 times the fertilizer that soybeans require. For corn, the ratio of nitrogen in it’s fertilizer is much higher.
So what did Russia just ban? Why yes, only 2/3rds of the world’s “exported” supply of nitrogen!
O.K. You are a farmer, US, European, 3rd world. You are loqoking at rapidly rising fertilizer costs that are a moving target. Your suppliers can’t tell you how much you might be able to buy nor at what price, before planting your spring crops. Fertilizer prices have increased so much that you may not have enough cash on hand to buy all the fertilizer you need. Since crop prices are so volatile you don’t know if you could even breakeven between fertilizer costs now and crop receipts 6 months from now.
So what crop, if any, are you going to plant? Corn gives you the worst high fertilizer cost exposure. Not only that but half of corn crops are sold in the US to make ethanol to put in gas, probably at pre-fixed prices. So does the US ethanol industry go boom or bust? Who knows what Biden and Congress will do in an election year? So would you plant soybeans instead, even knowing that your fellow farmers are likely to do so too resulting in a surplus of soybeans thus driving soybean prices much lower?
World governments are already banning exports of all grains simply because they don’t know what will happen any more than their own farmers do!
Maybe Biden will emphasize food production instead. Naw, I forgot they want higher energy and food prices for their build back green narrative. That isexactly why they started that not so little war over in far away Ukraine! Elections however can be easily fixed at the ballot box!

ParticipantLast night, while listening to music, I was busy sorting out the filler material by hand from the rabbit food for my daughter’s Dutch dawrf pet rabbit, Moki. She won’t eat the filler. Neither will her friends, the mice and chipmunks. There are lots of sunflower seeds in the rabbit food mix.
Earlier I had read that 50% of the world’s supply of sunflower seeds come from the Ukraine and another 20% from Russia. Good thing I bought a big bag of sunflower seeds early in 2022.
The sunflower seeds reminded me of a story my Father, who grew up during the 1930s depression in Saskatchewan, told me. When he was at school, many of the students were Ukrainians who lived on the local farms.
They ate sunflower seeds all day long in class and spit the empty sunflower shells on the classroom floor. The teachers did not like this but there was little they could do to stop this. First the kids were hungry and sunflower seeds were all they had to eat. Second, the Ukrainian boys were bigger and tougher than the tiny women teachers. After school was over the teachers would sweep up the empty sunflower shells on the classroom floor.
Yeah, the not so good, good olde days!

ParticipantOn the Ukraine front, the smart civilians left early.
Now it is too late to leave any of the cities with conflicts going on.Why would the smart Ukrainians have already left for Romainia, Hungry, or Poland?
For several very good common sense reasons.
First to avoid being forcibly conscripted by the neo-nazis.
Second, to avoid your family getting killed.
Third, to get your car out of the Ukraine so it doesn’t end up being stolen by the neo-nazis or the criminal looters. The British say Russia is using cluster bombs. That very likely means the encircled neo-nazi battalions are being anilalated along the border of the Donbas.
I have read of regular Ukrainian army soldiers killing their neo-nazi political officers. They have too before they can surrender or they will be killed. (No different than what happened in both the USSR and Nazi Germany. If you retreated your own side killed you. If you stayed and fought the enemy killed you.)
Supposedly the Ukrainian prez is safely in Poland urging his fellow Ukrainians to die.
Our deep state troll Deflate, is busy loosing the narrative war just as badly as the Ukrainians are loosing the real war.

ParticipantAnother tidbit on the fall out from the Ukrainian invasion. The Ukraine makes a number of small auto parts for Germany’s auto industry. This is forcing all of Germany’s auto assembly plants to shut down!
Just to add to German auto troubles, a roll on/off ship carrying over 4,000 German luxury cars, caught fire and after burning for over a week finally sank. It seems like some of the EV car’s lithium batteries caught fire and the ship’s crew didn’t have the proper fire fighting foams required to fight the battery fires. They could not use sea water.
The only unanswered question is; are the lithium batteries still burning away at the bottom of the ocean?

Your dental concerns rings bells for me. I do not have dental insurance and have noticed a pattern where the dentist try charging me more than if I had an insurance plan. In otherwords the sky is the limit.
Recently I had a large cavity in a back molar. The dentist said he could not fill it until I got a root canal done first even though the cavity had not reached the nerve. I considered the root canal but at $1,600 decided I not could afford it. I also suspected my dentist would get a nice fat referral fee from the dental surgeon doing the root canal.
So a week later I went back to have the cavity filled. The dentist continued to say I really should get a root canal done, hemmed and hawwed, etc. but this time I was ready and firmly said no. He made a special note in my file saying I had declined his advice before he filled the cavity. The molar has been just fine ever since.
The sad part is a year earlier I had another large cavity in another molar and he again said I needed to get a root canal first, which I declined to do. I elected to have the molar pulled instead. In retrospect I should have had the cavity filled instead. So yes it is only all about their money, not my best interests.
The moral is to question everything a dentist or doctor tells you. They are only concerned about their money.

ParticipantI spent a bit of time trying to get more info on Ukraine but there is very little news getting out of the areas in eastern Ukraine controlled by Russia. I think the Russian have been very successful in creating a blackout with regards to what is happening.
I think it is reasonable to expect the 30,000 plus Ukrainian army in the east along the Donbas region are either surrendering or being annihilated. They can not 3scape. This basically breaks the back of the Ukrainian army.
The Russians appear to be moving west from the Crimiea to seize Ukraine’s coastal areas along the Black Sea, having already seized the eastern coastal areas.
Also it appears that a southe4n force is also heading north toward Kiev while another force frkom Kiev is heading south to cut off the eastern half of the Ukraine from the western half.
My best guess is the southern Russian speaking coastal areas of the Ukraine will be declared independ an independent country just like the Donbas. This means the Ukraine will become a landlocked country.
A small part of eastern Ukraine with Hungarians may be returned to Hungry. Poland might also get a tiny piece of Polish eastern Ukraine too.
What I am not sure about is whether the Ukraine gets divided in half. The eastern half of the Ukraine is a mix of Ukrainians and Russians. However the western part of the Ukraine is purely Ukrainian with small pockets of Hungarians and Poles. My guess whether the Ukraine gets partitioned depends upon what happens in the future. If the Ukrainian gov negotiates in bad faith, as the US wants, then the Ukraine will likely be divided in two.
Note: The western half of the Ukraine is the poorest part and the basket case, Russia will likely happily hand over to the EU to enjoy and subsidized forever.
Western Ukraine is where the majority of the Ukranian neo-nazis are from. The Russians have no love for these neo-nazis and are planning to set up war crimes courts to try any neo-nazis they capture for shelling and murdering over 14,000 Russians in Donbas over the last 8 years.
And no the Russians are not losing the war. Only 10% of Russian forces have been committed. Russia’s very best units have not been involved. They are going slowly, but 4X faster than Germany. And Russia is not interested in destroying Ukrainian infrastructure.

ParticipantI suspect we at TAE will look back on early 2022, as the time the west decided to openly exercise it’s digital money powers to sanction it’s enemies both domestic and foreign.
That also means the west now knows it is losing the US dollar as the world’s major reserve currency and the power that comes with it.

ParticipantWell Deflate has been busy fighting the dis-inforation war in the Ukraine, so there is that!
I don’t think Russia is too concern about trying to win the lying war that is keeping Deflate busy.

ParticipantAnother funny thing about growing up in a small mining town, that we would never let our kids do today, was as soon as I could walk, I was free to roam wherever I wanted outside, weather permitting of course.
Naturally this suited me just fine! I roamed around town pretty much where ever I wanted. If I ended up playing with some other kids in their home, or stayed for lunch, I was supposed to phone home to let Mom know. That was just about the only rule.
Them was some glorious times for me! (Except for the chocolate!)

ParticipantOroboros:
Your cartoon of Biden with his “mother’s” hand stitched note on his back reminds me of a funny thing my Mother did for me when I was a wee lad! See I was allergic to chocolate and would break into a red rash if I ate chocolate.
We lived in a small remote mining town in northern Quebec/Labrador and the only store in town was the Hudson Bay. There were a lot of men working in the mines who were staying in company bunk houses, away from their families for about 6 months, so they sorely missed their children.
Naturally us kids quickly learned that if we hung out at the Bay, these men would buy us free sweets!
So my Mother sowed a cloth note on the back of my winter jacket, saying “Billy is allergic to chocolate. Please only give him candy!”
So now you know how deprived I was as a kid!
