Tonight Canada surpasses China’s official coronavirus cases!

Canada passed China’s official death rate over 3,000 deaths ago!

Based upon my visit for groceries yesterday, I would say less than 50% were wearing masks.

Once inside the store, people were less carefull about social distancing.

Social distancing only applies in line ups to get into the store and at the cashier. In between forget about it!

Following flow direction arrows, forget about it!

That is why Ontario’s lockdown did not work.

Thanks to Doc Robinson for finding graphs of Ontario’s coronavirus cases and deaths.

No bending of the curve during the lockdown! Just as I suspected!

That is why the politicians are in such a hurry to open things up!

The curves will continue upwards, so the politicians want to get in front of the curve so voters don’t punish the politicians for the lockdown!

Now as the curve continues upwards, the politicians can say that is because they opened up the economy and this was to be expected!

Nice to learn that getting tested for the coronavirus automatically results in your personal and medical data being entered into police records.

So now you have a police record!

Now you know why the elites are encouraging you to get tested!

I noticed Peru has 20% more cases of the coronavirus than Canada but less than half the deaths that Canada has.

Maybe Peru doesn’t have old folks homes like Canada does?

Maybe Peru just doesn’t have as many old folks as Canada does?

So far I haven’t seen a graph of coronavirus cases for the province of Ontario.

I suspect this is because there is no flattening of the curve.

For my part, I am wearing a N95 mask and gloves, when I leave the house. I can do that.

There is nothing I can do about what others do. That is not within my control.

So I will continue to do that which is mine to control.

I find it interesting that those who spied on Flynn don’t want the law applied to themselves.

    They only want their law.

Maybe they should have thought this through before embarking down the path they took back in 2012 or so.

Their path did not lead them where they wanted to go. Instead it eventually lead to exposure of their deeds.

So far they have been very lucky. None of them have been charged or jailed. None are ever likely to be either.

Only the people they have acused under their law have been charged and jailed.

The perfect justice system, if you are corrupt!

Statistical math is pretty much useless against something like this coronavirus. Especially, if you introduce people into the equation! Then you vere into the dismal science of economics!

The only hope is to try and reduce the spread of the virus back down to a level where health authorities can employ their isolation and tracing capabilities.

Based upon my visit to the local Home Depot store yesterday, where only about 50% were wearing masks, many not wearing masks properly, I would say we are a long, long way from reaching that point here in Ontario.

Up here in Toronto, I went with my daughter to Home Depot to get some drywall compound and paint.

We both wore N95 masks and gloves.

At best mask wearing about 50:50. Some even wearing masks partly down! One person removed their mask at cashier!

Respecting social distancing inside the store? Not so much! Only in the waiting line into the store!

Oh by the way, the store was busy!

My daughter said it was scary, people behaving as if the virus never existed! This was her first trip outside of the house since she came home from University!

    The Virus

The more I read about the virus, the more certain I am that everyone should be wearing masks. Throwing in vitamin D per John Day would probably have greatly helped too.

One place you don’t hear about is the Czech Republic. When the virus struct, they immediately all started wearing masks! I don’t know if they did any other things to help fight the virus but they probably did.

Their slogan was: “My mask protects you! Your mask protects me! A very simple and to the point message!

Too bad the message in Canada and the US, was masks don’t work!

The Maritime provinces, like BC, have done well in the fight against the virus. In this particular case you should be glad that you don’t count!

Sadly, Quebecoise and Ontario, were most of the people in Canada live, have not done so well.

The one good thing about having 10 provinces in charge of fighting the virus, at least some of them got it right!

Can you imagine the disaster we would have had, had Trudeau been the only one in charge?

During the beginnings of the virus, Trudeau was too busy visiting Africa and campaigning for a UN Security Seat! Also Trudeau was more concerned about not offending China than protecting Canadians from the virus.

He repeatedly refuse to shut down air travel from virus infected countries until it was too late. That is a major reason Montreal and Toronto have been hit so hard. Those are the places most travellers went to (plus Vancouver).

P.S. I was almost born in Labrador, but my Mother had to leave and go to Montreal, because there was no hospital at the time! Been in Labrador City many times. I have only been to the Maritimes once but really enjoyed the driving trip. Haiifax WW2 Corvette plus Bluenose. Cape Breton was nice. PEI’s beaches. NB blueberry area and Bay of Fundy. Not sure how you can swim in that cold ocean! My brother in Detroit can speak Newfie!

Canada’s Lockdown Just Like California’s Lockdown!

BC may be doing OK but Ontario and Quebec are not doing OK. Between them, they are Canada. The other 8 provinces simply don’t count.

In Toronto, wearing of masks is at best a 50:50 affair.

New Canadians, generally younger, don’t seem to be wearing masks at all.

Toronto has the same problem as Montreal. Montreal is just hogging the headlines from Hog Town (Toronto)!

Quebec and Ontario politicians are lifting the lockdown because the half assed lockdown isn’t working and the politicians are afraid the voters will soon figure this out and punish the politicians.

The virus visiting nursing homes lays bare Canada’s great medical system.

Testing in Ontario and Quebec is still not available to anyone with symptoms of the virus. Only government workers can get tested.

Up here in Toronto the wearing of masks is about a 50:50 affair at best.

New Canadian, mostly young, are the least likely to wear masks.

(The very cold wintery spring weather probably played the biggest role in locking down people.)

That is why Ontario’s lockdown has not been a great success at bending the curve.

It was at best a half ass lockdown.

Since the lockdown wasn’t working very well, the politicians have to open up the economy now or voters will figure out the lockdown wasn’t working and punish the politicians.
