I see today the WHO is now walking back their claim that people who show no symptoms of Covid-19 can not spread the virus.
This adds greatly to their credibility!
To this growing list we can add the CDC, Harvard, Lancelot, all public health officials, politicians, etc.
It always amused me that for the climate change people they must first “pretend to not know” that energy is used to support human life.
They reject using all forms of fossil energy sources, claiming we should only use renewable energy like solar panels.
What they need to “forget” is fossil energy is needed to create the solar panels! And when the solar panels get old they have to be replaced! We will always need fossil energy to build and maintain solar panels!
Basically solar panels do not produce enough energy to produce baby solar panels and then grow them into adult solar panels and then provide all the necessary infrastructure required to make the solar panels productive! Only fossil energy can do that!
So if you were left on an island with a solar panel, after 20 years or so, you would end up with a non-functional solar panel and no energy at all! In the first 20 years of solar panel life, you would not be able to produce a new replacement solar panel using the energy from the first solar panel!
Thus you were doomed, by your false beliefs in renewable energy being self sustainable, from the very start!

Interesting read on Libya.
I worked in Morroco in the late 1970s and Jordan in early 1980s. My brother worked in Libya for Westinghouse back in the early 1980s.
So much for living in the Sarhara Desert! That dam dust getting into everything! Bloody cold at night too! Then dam mud during the rainy season!
Libya, even when left alone, is a mess for sure!

I have been in Cuba and my brother has been in Vietnam.
Cuba Is a mess! The only part of Cuba that works is the tourism industry run by western hotel chains.
Vietnam has a capitalistic economy and is doing much better than Cuba.
I have also worked in Russia and Serbia back in the 1970s and 1980s.
Russia was truly a nightmare! Russia didn’t function period! A total police state! KGB everywhere! I crossed swords with them more than once! Today communists are outlawed in Russia!
Serbia allowed some private enterprises so was at least somewhat functional. There are no communist left in Serbia today!
So, I know a few things about how communism doesn’t work! Seen it first hand!

What you are running into are these people’s need to “pretend to nothing know certain things” especially those that conflict with their beliefs.
These people’s leaders then “pretend to not know certain things” that conflict with their political beliefs.
We know from experience, for example, communism does not work. The reason communism doesn’t work is because there is nothing in it for the individual person. Each individual person is quite happy to let the other person do all the hard work.
If you try to explain this to a communist, they will simply dismiss this out of hand because it conflicts with their beliefs. It is very important to a communist that they ” pretend to not know this”, so they can continue to believe in communism.
A more recent example of this “pretend to not know certain things” is Michigan’s Dem governor banning the use by doctors of HCQ to treat Covid-19. She threatened to revoke the medical license of any Michigan doctor who proscribed HCQ to patients suffering from covid-19.
Why did she do this? She did it because after President Trump mentioned HCQ, the Dems immediately attacked the President for saying the obvious. As a Dem politician, it was more important for her, to do anything that might hurt the President, than it was to help the people of Michigan. In order to do this, she had “to pretend not to know certain things”.

The “in thing” is to protest. I guess that is what sheep do. Mindlessly follow the herd.
I guess these sheep have nothing better to do with their time.
Never mind that they are being irresponsible by helping to spread the virus so that it can successfully kill more people. And some of those dead people will be black people. I guess their lives really don’t matter.
I am not a very good sheep. I will continue to do what I can to not help spread the virus to other people. I guess I believe everybody’s lives matter. But clearly I don’t matter to the sheep.
It is however, maddening, to see the sheep not caring about the lives of other people while loudly protesting they care about other people.
I am not confused. What they say and then do are perfectly clear to me.
Their actions tell me they really don’t care about the lives of other people at all! It is really all about them trying to impose their lack of morals upon others.
I am not buying it! I have better things to do with my life.
Miss Lindsey Graham is doing what he does best, put on a dog and pony show that exposes nothing!

With all the people protesting today, thereshouldbe a nice spike in Covid-19 cases by next Friday.
I wonder how many more people will die because of the protests.

My recent 2 shopping trips this week in Toronto show an alarming decrease in the wearing of masks.
I would be very hard pressed to say 15% are wearing masks now that warmer weather has arrived.
Inside stores social distancing doesn’t exsist! Only in line ups, outside the store or at cashiers!
The only hope now is that warmer weather reduces the spread of the virus.

I was never very worried about Iranian tankers visiting Venezuela because making the effort is a rather expensive transaction.

I think studying the annual deaths figures will take a number of years to sort themselves out.
Yes, short term Covid-19 killed a lot of people and will continue to kill more people. We still don’t know the consequences to long term health for those who caught the Covid-19.
But the lockdown will also kill people too. One thinks of delayed medical treatment, people killing themselves, etc. But then less people may have died driving, getting shot, etc. too.
Clearly some deaths were brought forward but some were also delayed. It isn’t so simple.
So five years from now annual deaths could both drop below normal and increase above normal for periods of time reflecting the deaths brought forward or delayed.

Dana Boente is a key player in the efforts of Congress to repeatedly impeach President Trump, go after General Flynn, and to then provide cover for all of these efforts.
He was critical to the effort by the FBI to with hold Brady evidence from General Flynn’s lawyers. That is why Wray, head of the FBI, hired Boente as the FBI’s top lawyer!
Dana Boente is a “huge ground zero” deep state swamp creature. That is why it has taken so long to out him!
Do not under estimate his importance. He was there from the very beginning! He is corrupt beyond belief!
He was the one who got AG Sessions to recuse himself making possible the 3 efforts to impeach President Trump! Without Boente none of this would have happened!

Big drug dealers hate HCQ because it doesn’t leave it’s customer dead and broke.
Their drugs are much more efficient at killing off customers and extracting money from their estates.

It wouldn’t surprise me if Congress told the FBI to stand down and not help the major or police.
It is pretty clear from AG Barr’s behavior that the President has little control of the DoJ nor FBI. The gang of eight still retain control and want him out at any cost after repeated impeachments failed.
Now with the lockdown hurting the economy, they see another opportunity to get rid of him.
I suspect this time they will succeed.
Then everything in DC can go back to the way it was before and the elites will be happy, even if the people aren’t.

Universities raising instead of lowering tuiton fees doesn’t surprise me one bit.
I have long noted that for government entities, they must receive increased budgets every year just to survive as they currently are.
If they receive the same amount of money as the year before, they will die a thousand deaths!
Hopefully by raising their student tuiton fees, they will get less students, and even less money!
So the big drug dealers are declaring a war against HCQ.

Because HCQ is stealing customers away from buying the big drug dealer’s more expensive drugs that work better at killing and extracting wealth from their customer’s estates!

Soro’s thugs have been let loose again in Democrat controlled inner cities where the police are told by majors to stand down. Waiting for the President to step in. He doesn’t take their bait. So their inner city neighborhoods burn. Sounds like a great winning formula for the poor people!
Moving to the big Apple, the Democrats don’t like the homeless poor, so it is OK to declare constant war on them atnd their tents! This is being done to help them re-pitch their tents somewhere else. The liberal press looks away and as usual says nothing.
In the early days of the virus, the Democrats were eagerly hoping the virus would kill off a lot of rich conservative people. Yes, they got their death wish. The virus did kill off a lot of people. According to a PEW study, 75,000 of the 100,000 reported deaths, so far, occurred in Democrat represented areas.
The truly rich don’t pretend to like poor people. Me thinks Democrats, deep down, really don’t like poor people either! They are just using them to further their ends.
So in conclusion, everything in our world is perfectly normal.

Too bad the Twin Cities are burning.
The last time I was in the Twin Cities was due to thick fog covering the mid west.
I was working in a coal mine east of Billings, Montana, just north of where Custer met his fate! (He sure picked a forlorn place to die!).
We took off from Billings early morning on a bright sunny winter’s day heading to Chicago. Then we circled O’Hara for hours before heading to Bismark, ND to land and refuel. We then circled the Twin Cities for many more hours. Finally after dark we touched down in the Twin Cities. We stayed overnight before resuming our flight the next day. That was a day to remember!

Every once in a while, when she is in the open back yard with us, she will suddenly run back into her cage where she knows she is safe. The walk-in cage has a roof on it. Usually it is just an airplane flying over head.
Usually when she isn’t hopping around, she will lay under a lawn chair near us for shade and probably protection from an air attack.
The interesting thing about tomatoes, is that not too many critters seem to like them or at least they don’t bother them too much.
My Father and Mother had a large backyard garden in Toronto. The fence at the back allowed the critters to run up and down the neighborhood on the interstate checking out all the gardens. Lots of Italians and Greeks who love their gardens!
Strangely the tomatoes never seem to get hit. Not sure why? But everything else like corn, peas, beans, lettuce, got hit hard! If it wasn’t the critters, then the insects!
The trick is to grow extra, enough for everybody!
