You have inadvertently highlighted the problem: there is asolutely no need for a binary decision.
It is much more helpful to attach a level of confidence to the information you have heard? Instead of accepting information as true or false. One of the biggest problems when talking to progressives is that they just believe most of what they are told by TV and are they determined to defend that position as if they knew something about the subject matter. It is a sign of mental retardation that you accept information either as 100% fact or 100% lie, the truth has to occupy the middle ground, even the question of whether you exist at all cannot be 100%.
Part of this problem is the insecurity associated with being undecided: people see it as a weakness to be undecided. This insecurity then feeds their defence of their own adopted opinion. This they feeds into their belief that everybody should behave the way they behave, that everybody should do what they do. It is a mental disease and it would be very interesting to know why and how it comes about.
For example: On the evidence I have seen, the probability is that the Covid virus does not exist. I am happy to see actual evidence that it does exist, but that has not been forthcoming. It is not a reflection on me as to whether Covid exists or not, it is a reflection of the evidence I have seen. Now, I could just put all my faith in Fauci and decide that it 100% exists because Fauci says it exists, but that is the sort of response I would expect from a dog: you pretend to throw the stick, the dog runs after it then becomes puzzled, wondering where the stick is, only to be happy again when you reveal that it was hidden behind your back all the time.

When NATO officers are captured in Mariupol, given that they are effectively mercenaries, should the Russians torture them in the same way as Al Queda were tortured and assasinated by the USA? The USA is not at war with Russia, according to the USA, so how could they complain?
More interestingly, as everything these days is information warfare, should Russia release videos of the NATO officers being tortured? Would that enable the NATO coutries to escalate the war as planned? This is the first global war where the USA is pro-torture, pro-assassination and pro-murder-of-prisoners-of-war. Please remember that many small one man web sites had no choice but to limit covid coverage because otherwise they would have been kicked off by their big tech server hosts.
No explanation was given at the time by the proprietor and he could have done what many others did and post controversial pages without advertising. As a once loyal visitor I now chose to not visit that site.

As someone who works in IT (started in 1998 in SF, CA) I had a front row seat for all of it. A friend I used to work with had a theory that working in IT (or with IT all day) was driving people crazy because in essence it meant you were living in an abstraction … Even those of us building systems and deploying code couldn’t really “see” anything we did.
I started in “IT” in 1985 as an embedded systems engineer using digital/analogue electronics to control mechanical machines of various sorts, so we always got to see what was happening. After some time in defence, I moved into designing and building systems used in car factories then on to other products.
Most IT these days is calculator work which is dead boring but I did take it up for a while in the finance area – for the money – put it down again to return to embedded systems, then in my later years picked it up again for the money and as an easy option to work towards retirement.
I understand why SF pays well, the work can be mind numbing – the same as finance with many finance vendors in SF – but it is easy and repetitive so there is not much to challenge an old geezer. I am convinced that without the SF money most electrical/mechanical engineers would gravitate to the embedded systems area and never get to SF or finance. What is worse about SF is all the hype: some new “software package” does something wonderful but when you look into it you discover it is just a reinvention of an old algorithm but now with tons of marketing, the results is tons of duplication.
The advantage with embedded systems is that you have to get out into the real world, visit a test site, visit a factory, understand the problem, design, trial and test the solution, install the solution, determine whether the solution works, show off the solution to the client.
You meet all sorts of people who are specialists in all sorts of areas, you see all sorts of technologies and get involved in lots of unexpected speciality areas, such as printing, cars, marine, oil rigs, hifi, ticket machines, etc and you meet lots of people who have worked on different projects, each of which has a different experience from working in different areas.
I remember talking to someone who was working at Porsche, he was working on an emergency braking system that prevents the car entering a corner at too fast a speed. They had achieved their latest version of the system and were to show it off to the CEO. The big guy gets in the back of the test car, the engineer beside him, the control equipment in the front seat and the professional test driver. They get the car up to speed on the test track and enter a corner too fast: the car hits the arnco barrier and slides round the corner on the arnco, destroying the porsche test car. After the corner they tried to work out what went wrong: it turns out they had forgotten to turn on the test system. How’s that for real life.

I find this both amusing and encouraging. Would anybody with any cognitive functioning really lay down their lives to support tattooed Nazis? Zelensky was a z-level actor, hyped into a b-level actor by a totally corrupt oligarch, then hyped into President of Ukraine by the same corrupt oligarch working with the USA state department, both of which ensured that Zelensky was gifted many hundreds of millions of dollars in return for destroying Ukraine. Zelensky then obliterated anyone that opposed him, so he turned his unpopular position into a neutral position.
Where in this career do you see a sacrifice for the greater good? I understand, they mean a greater good for the US deep state, not a greater good for the Ukraine.

Totally agree that Russia will have to take this to the US mainland where the people will not have the stomach to continue fighting, but the lesson has to be permanent and iconic. Sinking ships the evidence is gone and the US people will soon forget, so ideally the target will be something iconic that is protected by the US military. All I can think of is Fort Knox: it is iconic, protected by the military but of no military significance, yet huge psychological significance. But as you say, the military will have better ideas.

The Covid scam is a PCR test, there is no virus. Belief in Covid the Virus is just buying into their game. As I said right at the start, two years ago, this entire scam depends on PCR testing and marketing. Stand back and look at it and be honest about what you see.
I used to live in Africa and when there was an epidemic, the first you would know about it would be long queues of sick people lined up outside clinics: these people were queuing because they were sick and as a result decided to go to the clinic. It was always very real and it took a few days to actually find out what was happening. That is how REAL pandemics work.
The Covid scam used a mass media campaign to strike the fear of god into everybody, young and old: granny may die, you may kill her by infecting her. The campaign tells people to go get tested, the tests are processed in government contractor labs which set the number of cycles as required by the government, the number of cycles controlling the number of false positives. The false positives are scared into believing in “asymptomatic cases” (new “science” created for this scam), then feeds “case numbers” back into the marketing which heavily focuses on cases, not illness. The amount of positive feedback is controlled by the governments changing the cycle number, depending on how many “asymptomatic cases” they need for their next policy change.
I have friends who claim to have had Covid this year, surprisingly I do not have any friends who claim to have had flu this year, but the number of people claiming to have had Covid is about the same as claim to have had flu in a pre-Covid year. Now, isn’t that amazing.
The most disappointing aspect of Covid is that the general public were willing to beleive anything: I include “asymptomatic case” in that as well as “inferior natural immunity”. All these people went to school, all these people can read, yet Covid comes along and they let the snake oil salesmen con them: a bit like being conned into believing that some new potion will prevent you from vaopurising, paying the money, yet knowing there is no danger of vaopurising. What happened to people’s brains?

Some believers still say to me “overall death rates went up so Covid must exist”: of course they went up, that’s what happens when you stop people exercising to keep healthy, withdraw healthcare from the sick etc. What did you expect to happen? That a sedantary indoor lifestyle was now more healthy than an active outdoor lifestyle?
The Covid scam is an abuse of society by the leaders of society. It is a first world plan geared to helping the rich keep their wealth and power despite their continual theft having destroyed everything in it path, now including society. These people want to be the leaders of the future and Covid is a tool they are using, this has never had anything to do with health, they are conning you, they are using persuasion mechanics to nudge you to do what they want.
There is no Covid Virus, there is nothing more to fear than there was in 2019.

The Ukraine war has confirmed for me that Covid was a total scam. I never really believed that Covid ever existed but after such a long time my confidence was waning, only to be boosted by the Ukraine war. I am now confident that the whole thing is a scam based on the PCR tests.
I am also now confident that both China and the USA oligarchs are in on the Covid scam. For the USA oligarchs this is a perfect mechanism for controlled demolition of the USA and Europe economies while the Ukraine war ensures that Europe, Australia and Ukraine is not tempted to ally with Russia and China in times of trouble: I suspect the gas pipeline from Russia was all part of this plan as it was built by the west then used by the west as an imminent threat so an excuse to defend Europe from Russian influence.
Obviously the climate change/green energy scam was also part of this plan, using the throttling of energy to control the demolition of the economies – Germany closing its nuclear reactors before replacement energy supplies come online? Really, in Germany? Impossible!
Yes, there was obviously a lot of help from the treacherous Europen politicians.
China benefits from all of this: remove the superpower preventing Taiwan integration (Xi will no doubt have arranged with the west when that will happen), an opportunity to become top dog in the world (Xi must have wet dreams about this), Covid is the perfect excuse to enact the throttling of supply lines while the domestic audience consumes the bad Americans blame game.
Of course, this means that the Zero-Covid policy in China will persist until supply lines are unrecoverable and the permanent damage done to the USA. Do not forget that a lot of the USA and Europe oligarchs have huge investments in China and Russia, so their fortunes are not threatened.
Maybe this is why Russia is not totally demolishing Ukraine: the battle in Ukraine is for show, it is not for all the marbles.
For me the whole game is becoming clearer: one unanswered question is what is Russia getting out of this deal, for it seems to me to be impossible that Russia is not a part of the greater plan. Sure, Russia has to play its “bad guy” role for Europe and the USA, but once that is over, what will the China, USA and European oligarchs give to Russia? That is not clear at the moment. Obviously it will make a lot of money out of this, but what else?
Given the dedication of western politicians to the goal of economic death, I am wondering how long it will be before the large German companies – Bosch, BMW, Mercedes etc – decide to move their research and design functions to China as well as all component manufacturing to the BRICS.
Keeping those functions in Europe will almost certainly mean the death of the companies given that they will have to close their factories in Germany if their is no energy supply and heavily reduced demand, retaining their existing factories in China. Obviously the CEOs will not do this yet, they will always be behind the ball, but this has to start soon otherwise these companies will die forever. The similarly interesting issue is whether China will be willing to import the European specialists needed to perform these functions.
Alternatively, will the CEOs, as part of the Davos crowd, simply let the companies die?
The oligarchs are destroying Europe, there is no suicide involved, the people of Europe want their lives and countries to continue: this is murder, not suicide. The Finland and Sweden leaders are both WEF, so we know who they follow and that they are not loyal to their countries, so they will be used to put more pressure on Russia, which is such a stupid move.
NATO’s increasing pressure on Russia is interesting because as the Russians become more weary of the war, the Russian leadership will abandon its soft goals of trying not to destroy Ukraine infrastructure, keeping the Ukrainian people on side, being the aggreived party in Europe etc. As they abandon these nice-to-have goals their tactics will change and the conflict will descend into all-out war with mass kiling: Russia and China against NATO. Once the soft goals are abandoned, the real goals of ensuring survival will take over. NATO is betting that at that stage Putin’s leadership team will surrender rather than push the nuclear button.
The Russians have a history of fighting to the last man: they do not have a history of surrender. Russia cannot win a conventional war against NATO, so any war against NATO requires Russia to use nuclear weapons. The decision to force Russia to confront NATO and hence revert to nuclear weapons during the war, is being pushed now: this is a huge gamble that NATO will lose. As thinking changes during this war and Russia moves more into survival mode, the more likely nuclear becomes, and who could blame Russia for insisting on survival.
The one clear message this whole debacle tells us, as if we didn’t know, is that the oligarchs are happy to sacrifice all the plebs and the world as we know it rather than lose their power and wealth. The oligarchs will be killing off millions of the plebs anyway, using nuclear war or vaccines, so they have already decided not to care about lives lost. Obviously they would rather nuclear war did not destroy everything, but if the alternative is to become a pleb then they have opted for nuclear war as the preferred option.

Reference the post-modern philosophy of life, the anti-family mob who insist that America will be stronger with gay parents raising transgender children: the war against objective morality. This, to me, is the difference between the Western collapse and the Chinese Cultural Revolution. The Chinese never lost their commitment to the strong family unit, and Chinese rural society still relies heavily on the wider family: “rural” because modern city living slowly destroys society so we must wait to see what it does to China. The West has slowly lost that commitment to family over the past sixty years and is now lost, a house built on sand.

Ha ha, they as good as admit in the intro of the study that their aim is to further the take up of vaccines and to dispell myths about alternative existing remedies. Why would I believe any of this shite now, just reading the intro tells you that these people are willing to kill and lie to benefit their careers. Why bring out such a study two years after it could have been of any use to anyone is kind of weird, especially such a small study, they were obviously very keen to save lives … not.

Climate catasprophe is all part of the campaign by western oligarchs to regime-change Russia. The western oligarchs can see that fossil and nuclear fuels makes Europe dependant on Russia and increasingly on other countries that the USA has made into enemies, such as Saudi and UAE.
The USA ordered the EU to close down nuclear and carbon-based power plants. The tell is that they are closing nuclear which makes absolutely no sense, even to most climate change believers. The oligarchs then do not cut back at all on their personal or business usage of carbon, instead they introduce ESG which is couched in the “environment” lingo but is actually oligarch authoritarianism on steroids: your company does what we say or you get zero credit.
