when THEY, whoever they are, have plans to do something really stupid Pyatts “our guy”

“Washington is aiming to halve Russia’s oil and gas revenues by the end of this decade, Geoffrey Pyatt, US assistant secretary of state for energy resources, told the Financial Times.”

China and Venezuela are making out in the coat closet. The Saudi’s and Iran are preparing for a tag team cage match. OPEC+ are looking closely at production quotas. Inflation is making mark to market in the fracking industry a possibility for the near future. Guess we better send “Toria” to insure success in our endeavor.

D from your post: “For I Am God”. As western minds turned to Eastern religion and mysticism western finance and management turned to TQM. The girl and boy genius could not fathom either. The concept of a drop in the ocean of consciousness, that the individual is a facet of the divine, was just a little too deep for western intelligentsia. This same strata of western intelligence could no more grasp TQM than they could grasp Eastern mysticism. The idea that the entire organization had to improve every moment as an organism is out of their ken. How does one improve perfection? Maharishi Mahesh Yogi says I am God, so there you have it, improvement is for you. There really is delicious irony in watching would be monotheists worshiping at the feet of the pantheon of intelligentsia.

“The highest good is like water, it flows in places men reject” – Lao Tzu. There are some who consider that the Colorado River did not cut through the terrain but stayed in place as faulting and folding progressed. Try to explain to anyone you know “nothing is done and yet nothing is left undone”. I bet you the God you are speaking to does not have the power to process that thought. “Destroyer of worlds” is the work of lesser gods.

“You will own nothing” almost everyone i speak to who has heard that phrase considers themself happy. Divide the value of your debt by the value of your free and clear assets (true net worth). Are you happy?

“Useless eaters”, a happy term spread by the Wicked Messenger, might easily be one of the most misunderstood phrases since it came upon the stage. Almost everyone i know thinks the laborers and the poor are the “useless eaters”. In a deindustrialized world just exactly what is it the lower through lower upper level managers manage? A world driven by financializtion and digital wealth extraction has no need for main street managers. Most of those “will not work” people are unemployed managers. They have never actually worked and they have no commercial potential. There is a point, at which time all of the collateral that has been the basis for the debt of the middle class will be captured. Superfluous is a nice way to say “useless eater”.

At the top of this page are three links to videos. The sages bringing us their deep wisdom and insight are company men. My interpretation of their message is; if this doesn’t stop it’s going to fuck up my gig. The two of them are high level assistants to murderers of the innocent. Killing children on the sly is much more profitable than killing children and having it broadcast live around the world. Ask any corporate shill about “proprietary information”. The two of them are knowledgeable men in the ways and means of terror, murder, humiliation, extortion, subjugation and wealth extraction. Do you have any doubts concerning the popularity of their videos? When you watch one of their videos you looking into the face of William Calley.

Are you sure you want to save the village?

two of the happiest days in my life:
    1. i could afford a pocket calculator with the square root function
    2. the day i found out Mr. Feynman wasn’t joking and no one understands quantum mechanics. Just the thing for me.
About forty five years after #2 i watched a conversation between Mr. Fred Hoyle and Mr. Feynman. Mr Feynman said “when I heard no one understands quantum mechanics I thought that’s just the thing for me”. As close to the shoulders of giants as i will ever get.

from Selma in 1965 to the Occupy protests in 2011 the “haunting cries” have been coming from the streets within the United States of America. Sinclair’s The Jungle was published in 1906 and the history of strikebreakers and union busting from that time through Ronald Reagan is quite well documented. The offshoring of industry during the forty six years from Selma through Occupy and the flat lining of wages starting in earnest in 1970 were all supported by the lower and mid-level management class. They, of course, thought of themselves as part of the elite. The jungle belonged to the laborers who were being systematically colonized by the debt mongers and their lifeblood was being extracted to advance empire. Labor and wages had to be suppressed to protect profits and the dollar.

The Rustbelt is the polite description of the destruction wrought upon the jungle in the United States. How polite it is to witness areas of desolation and opine “should have planned better”. How admiringly philosophical to turn the phrase “The one who dies with the most toys wins”. The intellectual sophistication of noting “these are all Blue cities” passes for deep economic insight. Perhaps Mr. Borrell studied twentieth century trends within the United States as a basis for his view of the “Garden”. The need to slash nutrition programs from the USDA budget was a sign of moral superiority. “The USDA is just a small percentage of the overall budget” was countered by “you must understand moral hazard”. Our standard of living must be protected was the mantra as another income bracket was drowned in the sea of growth. What a euphonius appellation given to wholesale impoverishment, “Creative Destruction”.

The whole time these things were being accomplished the majority of US citizens viewed them as necessary to protect their “money”. Now with the known data of death and destruction across the Middle East, Ukraine and the Sahel the call to protect the “money” is at the forefront once again. Once the Palestinian problem is “solved” the brutal normalcy of wealth extraction will be able to expand the sphere of influence once again.

Mr. Escobar’s essay is quite accurate but for one small item, the time frame. With the substitution of a few words the twentieth century “WASP” conquest of The United States is easily described. The brutal destruction of life and hope in the US set the precedent for the “rules based order”. The jungle has been here and it no longer creeps, it is welcomed with open arms. Make Palestine resemble Detroit, Chicago or the main street in your town. As Mr. W Bush first noted in 1992 “The American lifestyle is non-negotiable”.

The road to Damascus is not The Road Less Travelled, it is not travelled at all. One must acknowledge that five hundred years of barborous destruction of life is viewed as noble. One must also note the continuation of the process is fervently anticipated and desired. Pretending that the murder of children is a new and novel twenty first century abberation is a growth industry. Robert Hunter wrote “what a long strange trip it’s been”. That is my experience.

The truth is a photon carries information. The information, as electromagnetic energy, is absorbed at the atomic level and transformed into internal energy. As energy is emitted and absorbed and emitted information flows.

Consider a blackbody maintaining 0° Kelvin in an energetic environment. Energy is absorbed and none would be emitted, no flow of information. Ross Perot’s great sucking sound is an apt metaphor.

Zionism is a blackbody maintaining 0° Kelvin. No light is emitted, no flow of information, no truth.

15% known matter and energy, 85% dark matter and energy
15% developed nations, 85% global south (choose the description that suits you personally)

the 85% dark matter and energy drive the expansion of the verse
soon the 85% global south will drive the human economic engine. A moment of discovery is on the horizon. In a manner similar to the verse the rate of expansion of the global south is increasing and will be seen to overcome the mass of the developed nations.

the standard model theorists cannot accept their model is inadequate to explain the physical reality just as economists in the developed nations cannot accept their model is inadequate. The hidden overcomes what is seen. There are things which cannot be touched or measured that are real.

Today, November 23, 2023, is celebrated as a day of thanksgiving in my home, my nation. As the preparation for the thanksgiving meal begins please let me share some of the things i am thankful for. I am thankful for singularity. I am thankful for the information that created space. I am thankful for clouds of charged potential. I am thankful for fusion. I am thankful for the the stars that forge the material world. I am thankful for the curiosity and intelligence in a precious child’s eyes.

I am thankful that i am not limited to observation. I am thankful for the greatest of human blessings, the ability to measure. I am thankful for physics, logic and ethics.

I am thankful for a peace that exceeds understanding. I am thankful for those things i cannot yet understand.

I am thankful for the one thing, above all others, that I cannot understand. Why is human consciousness not enough? Why is the ability to discern beauty and loving kindness not enough?

I am thankful for hope and the knowledge that light overcomes darkness.

I am thankful for all of my sisters and brothers and their children.

I am thankful that I am blessed with the ability to speak and write. I am thankful i may say, I Love You.

don’t know why all of the angst about the money. The invisible hand of the market will straighten it all out. Well that’s the story i have heard most of my life. The market is self correcting and can not be be deterred from unerring eficiency. Laissez-faire, the only good regulation is a dead regulation! Demand for labor increasing? Let the invisible hand sort it out. What? Never tried that approach? Hell no, got to protect that efficient use of capital. Raise interest rates increase the returns on capital and starve the labor market. All of those years with a skilsaw in hand the only part of the hand i saw was the thumb pushing my sisters and brothers down.

“The Biden administration has been providing Israel with the location of humanitarian groups in Gaza for weeks to prevent strikes against their facilities. But Israel has continued to hit such sites.

The information included GPS coordinates of a number of medical facilities and information on movements of aid groups in Gaza to the Israeli government for at least a month, according to three people familiar with the communications. All were granted anonymity because they feared speaking publicly would make it more difficult for aid groups to operate in Gaza.

Still, Israel has launched operations against Hamas in or near aid sites, including hospitals, leading to the destruction of buildings and the blocking of fuel and other critical supplies.”

Where, might i ask, has Mr. Rubino been since January 2020?
and Greg Hunter – “Rubino talks about plunging home prices, more trouble coming in the commercial real estate market and why you need gold and silver as core assets during a currency reset”

Never heard of asset seizure, never heard of frozen bank accounts, never heard of sanctions, never heard of BRICS+, never heard of a $945bn trade deficit, never heard finance, real estate, business services and government comprise 44% of the US economy, never heard manufacturing is 11% of the US economy, never heard agriculture, fishing and hunting take a 1.1% share of the US economy

In the midst of a global financial meltdown gold and silver assets will be safe? Which of the two is more deluded, Zelensky or John Rubino? London and New York will not set the exchange rates and when the tide goes out The FED and Fort Knox will be seen wearing a G string and pasties.

Holy Sonnet 10: Death, be not proud
    John Donne
Death, be not proud, though some have called thee
    Mighty and dreadful, for thou art not so;
For those whom thou think’st thou dost overthrow
Die not, poor Death, nor yet canst thou kill me.
From rest and sleep, which but thy pictures be,
Much pleasure; then from thee much more must flow,
And soonest our best men with thee do go,
Rest of their bones, and soul’s delivery.
Thou art slave to fate, chance, kings, and desperate men,
And dost with poison, war, and sickness dwell,
And poppy or charms can make us sleep as well
And better than thy stroke; why swell’st thou then?
One short sleep past, we wake eternally
And death shall be no more; Death, thou shalt die

The nauseating reality is that this reenactment is not a fictional parody but the actual reality of a subspecies or conspecies of humanity in the 21st century.

the following word salad is a musing on The Zeroeth Law of Thermodynamics, Thermal Equilibrium and the Permeable Connection. Of course the laws of phyics don’t apply to human beings. Language is wonderful!

The thought that US tax dollars are being used to purchase anything needs some serious abuse. In 2022 total US tax revenue was $4.71 trillion and the 2023 budget deficit is $1.71 trillion. The budget deficit is equal to 36% of tax revenue. The 2022 outstanding value of US financial corporate and non-financial corporate debt securities can be presented as $24 trillion. The 2022 GDP of the US economy can be presented as $27 trillion. The Federal Reserve holds 25%± of the $33 trillion US debt and the balance is debt liability. The $24.75 trillion dollar debt, as an unfunded liability, represents 92% ± of the 2022 US GDP. As i am not a member of the Chicago school i can organise the above this way: $24 trillion in corporate debt plus $24.75 trillion in national debt, $48.75 trillion of debt, carries a GDP valued at $27 trillion. I will attempt to be discreet and only give passing mention to unfunded state and US federal pension liabilities. The recent announcement that interest on the US debt reached $1 trillion and is in the neighborhood of 20% of tax revenue did not cause Mrs. Yellen to lose any sleep. One wonders if she is awake. US federal and US corporate debt is the punch bowl not US tax dollars. The value of the back window at the FED is unknown. No audit please.

now put this into context within the current geopolitical debacle. To make the numbers easier to handle let us use 8 billion as the global population. The global south contains about 80% of that population or 6.4 billion human beings. What would be the result of 6.4 billion humans withholding $0.01, a penny, from western goods and services each day for a single year? No boycot, no divestment and no sanctions just a little grassroots demand side economics. The amount that would be withheld is $23.01 trillion. Want to ring the margin call bell? One less Coca Cola or Pepsi per week, one less cup of Starbucks coffee, one less trip to McDonalds at the global level. A moderately secure family decides to purchase four scooters valued together at $5000 versus a used car. There goes a large percentage of a $1.5 trillion dollar market and the compound interest generated. Will the Global South continue being the pipeline and the medium of it’s own demise?
Will there be equilibrium, will all of the world’s value be financialized to the point that there is no differentiation of asset value and entropy overtakes the human experiment? Or will the connection to western debt be broken and entropy reign supreme in the west?
ask a socialist or a communist or a capitalist i’m sure they know and each knows why the other is wrong. and humanity continues to murder children for profit. and i am encouraged to take this foolishness seriously. i have been and will continue to be disadvantaged because i do not take any of this seriously. angels on the head of a pin in the 21st century. and we continue to murder children for profit. and declare with all of the joyous pomposity of an idiot “I’m A Capitalist”. and we continue to murder children for profit – thermal equilibrium, count on it

D pattern recognition is not all it is cracked up to be. Jamie Dimon says he is a capitalist. Blinken and Biden say they are defending and protecting the Constitution. The EU says they are staunch defenders of free speech.

After a time another such rises to the surface and everyone declares the presence of the same system. No, another charismatic and depraved personality has risen to the surface and the less charismatic sociopaths and psychopaths are drawn like moths to the flame.
Discovery of value precedes price discovery. When both of these mechanisms are absent in an economic system the system is organized theft, capitalism has nothing to do with it.
Either there is transparency or there is not. The economic system without transparency is not capitalism. Of course as you so readily note, it is and it isn’t.

does it really matter where the phrase originated?
    “Qu’ils mangent de la brioche”
“….and then they came for me”

    US population – 336 million
    government employees – 24 million
312 million citizens defeated by 24 million government (local, state, federal) employees

did you notice neither Hedges nor Noh took the position that the citizens of the west should actively join the resistance? gotta keep the brioche buttered

i wonder how much kentucky got paid to take that ass whippin

yesterday evening human beings across the united states were abused by a family member as a result of a football team losing a contest, a game

less important news, a head of broccoli was $6.00 a pound and turnips were over $3.00 a pound in the local supermarket. Stunningly, rutabagas were also above $3.00 a pound. Rutabagas $3.29 a pound!

can we please put aside the BS that anything the insurgency seated within the Beltway does uses taxpayer dollars? do you have the same feeling about the US Federal Reserve Bank that came to my mind when i first heard of the musical Hamilton? where is Burr when you need him?

    “Objectivity has got to go.”
“free itself from this notion of objectivity to develop a sense of social justice.”
“I’m a Biased Journalist and I’m Okay With That.”
these are the calls to democracy. democracy – the bastard child of tyranny

please note the second quote does not call to establish social justice but a “sense” of social justice. i am not a journalist and i too am biased. My bias is bound to that which we identify as the Bill of Rights within The Constitution of the United States of America. In terms of the ideal, citizenship within The Constitutional Framework, The Nation and Her people, individual human rights must be upheld and defended whether an individual is withinin the minority or the majority.

Let us cast aside and indeed trample under foot the idea that The United States of America is a democracy. A simple review of the Tenth Amendment, “The powers not delegated to the United States by the Constitution, nor prohibited by it to the States, are reserved to the States respectively, or to the people.” is enough to demolish the concept of majority rule within the United States federal government.

Determining the outcome of a vote in any circumstance is a matter of logic and mathematics. A proposition is put forward a decision is to be made and a vote is taken. A point is placed on a number line and a measurement is made. To simplify the conditions a set of variables is stated, nay=n – yea=y -abstention=a(a=o), such that n≠y = y≠n and n+a=n – y+a=y
The vote is taken abstention is noted and removed from the equation and n<=>y conversely y<=>n or
    n=y = y=n=null point
n>y The nay takes the point
y>n The yeah takes the point
Null point and the proposition is discarded or the vote is taken again. Governance follows the vote and in the nation i am humbled to be a citizen of discipline, courage, honor and compromise temper the nature of the society. Providence Be Willing. The talley of a vote is either accurate or inaccurate, nay or yea or null point and is an objective measure. When the talley of a vote is not objective it reveals fraud.

is there any device in the history of humanity that damns democracy to a greater degree than the guillotine?
Do you think the journalists quoted desire subjectivity or democracy in the hands of the deplorable or in the hands of a faux majority?
Stop looking to the past, the challenge is at hand. Vote with your life, today. Reap that which you sow.
Courage or Cowardice. Defense of the weak or tyranny of the faux majority are your options.

May 4, 1970, the day my generation decided to go along to get along.

D ask those in your circle “have you read Lord of the Flies, Animal Farm and 1984”. Ask them “do you remember the name of Billy Budd’s nemesis?” or “name one of Fenimore Cooper’s novels or the name of a character from one of those novels”
“Been Down So Long It Looks Like Up” – time to join Mucho Mas and share a paregoric Pall Mall
remember Thoreau’s response to Emerson, “What are you doing Out there?”

have you experienced the foul odor of terror? did you experience a draft physical during the era of Viet Nam? did you spend a whole day with one hundred human beings facing the probalility their life would end within six months? once you have the experienced of the smell of death your olfactory sense never recovers. did you have a member of the US Special Forces explain Fragging to you, and the necessity of it in relation to the ROTC fools? do you have any sense of how accurate Martyanov’s description of US Command Structure is?
May 4, 1970 may help to clarify your vision of the lives you so readily condemn
    alas Hope Springs Eternal

    I got the Bourgeois Blues
