After reading that long screed that seems to summarize your view that most alternative writers have “gone to the dark side,” what about Caitlin Johnstone? Has she gone crazy too? She’s said nothing about COVID the past 18 months while her country fell further and further down the rabbithole of totalitarianism, but now she has had the courage to connect the dots. Is she “crazy” now?

“The sane way to counteract the public distrust that’s been caused by generations of lies, wars and depravity would be a tremendous increase in transparency, accountability and contrition on the part of those institutions, showing the public that they have changed and are working to become more trustworthy. So naturally what we are seeing is vaccine mandates in New York City, pundits calling for forced injections, and soldiers policing the streets of Sydney.”

The problem. Sane is not happening.

This time is not like any other we have seen in our lifetimes, but parallels to the past are too noticeable. Medicine has been at the forefront of quite a few great advances, but also a good many crimes using “research” as their justification. One of those possible stories is me (count me as not a fan of Johns Hopkins, but it’s a long story), however, I’ve always been on the line as to whether what happened was a crime or an advance that helped succeeding generations of children avoid the life I have. That said, I am not going to jump into another experiment “for science” when the evidence shows the risks outweigh the benefits. I feel for your situation, however, there is a reason we have agreements such as the Nuremburg Code and the Belmont Report, it’s so we can say NEVER AGAIN. And here we are, pick a side. You can either say never again, or it’s okay again. Just remember, the same people who told us in 2001 there was reason to torture the “other” are the same people who view COVID as a reason to limit the sovereignty of the new “other.” Your choice. Pick a side.

And then these action certainly beg the question, “Why were only those two payments suspended”? Do they feel they won’t need a large payout in the near future with special thanks to the Vax, knowing many will die? Or do they just default on those payments entirely?

“In a letter to House of Representatives Speaker Nancy Pelosi and other congressional leaders, Yellen said she was suspending investments in the Civil Service Retirement and Disability Fund and the Postal Service Retiree Health Benefits Fund that are not immediately required to pay beneficiaries.

A two-year suspension of the federal debt limit expired on Saturday, reinstating the cap at the current debt level of about $28.5 trillion.”

    Short answer, yes.

“Whether and to what extent you “protect” yourself from disease with a paper strapped to your mouth and nose is now wholly contingent on data reporting and interpretation. It might feel like science but it has a better name: arbitrary power. Out with the Constitution. Out of traditions of law. Out with legislatures and the will of the people.

What’s even stranger was the rationale that the CDC cited to claim that the Delta variant renders the vaccines – the ones that have been hyped with unrelenting propaganda for many months, including stigmatization and demonization of those who refuse – substantially less effective for stopping infection than President Biden was touting just last week.

Our thinking on the subject is supposed to mutate at the same pace as the virus itself. It’s exhausting and triggers anyone’s BS detector. How in the world does the CDC expect anyone to believe anything it says in the future?”

I was going to post this on yesterday’s rattle, but also seems appropriate today. I saw it as a Facebook comment on an employer mandate story that many people take to be legal because the DOJ isn’t enforcing the law and sums the vax propaganda perfectly. My next conversation at the doctor’s office:

“”ME: CDC, should I get poked if I already had Covid?
CDC: “Yes, you should be poked regardless of whether you already had COVID-19. That’s because experts do not yet know how long you are protected from getting sick again after recovering from COVID-19.”
ME: Oh, okay, we don’t know how long natural immunity lasts. Got it. So, how long does poke-induced immunity last?
CDC: “There is still a lot we are learning about COVID-19 pokes and CDC is constantly reviewing evidence and updating guidance. We don’t know how long protection lasts for those who are poked.”
ME: Okay … but wait a second. I thought you said the reason I need the poke was because we don’t know how long my natural immunity lasts, but it seems like you’re saying we ALSO don’t know how long poke immunity lasts either. So, how exactly is the poke immunity better than my natural immunity?
    CDC: …
ME: Uh … alright. But, haven’t there been a bunch of studies suggesting that natural immunity could last for years or decades?
    CDC: Yes.
NEWYORKTIMES: “Years, maybe even decades, according to a new study.”
ME: Ah. So natural immunity might last longer than poke immunity?
    CDC: Possibly. You never know.
ME: Okay. If I get the poke, does that mean I won’t get sick?
BRITAIN: Nope. We are just now entering a seasonal spike and about half of our infections and hospital admissions are poked people.
ME: CDC, is this true? Are there a lot of people in the U.S. catching Covid after getting the poke?
CDC: We stopped tracking breakthrough cases. We accept voluntary reports of breakthroughs but aren’t out there looking for them.
ME: Does that mean that if someone comes in the hospital with Covid, you don’t track them because they’ve been poked? You only track the UN-poked Covid cases?
    CDC: That’s right.
ME: Oh, okay. Hmm. Well, if I can still get sick after I get the poke, how is it helping me?
CDC: We never said you wouldn’t get sick. We said it would reduce your chances of serious illness or death.
ME: Oh, sorry. Alright, exactly how much does it reduce my chance of serious illness or death.
    CDC: We don’t know “exactly.”
ME: Oh. Then what’s your best estimate for how much risk reduction there is?
CDC: We don’t know, okay? Next question.
ME: Um, if I’m healthy and don’t want the poke, is there any reason I should get it?
    CDC: Yes, for the collective.
ME: How does the collective benefit from me getting poked?
CDC: Because you could spread the virus to someone else who might get sick and die.
ME: Can a poked person spread the virus to someone else?
    CDC: Yes.
ME: So if I get poked, I could still spread the virus to someone else?
    CDC: Yes.
ME: But I thought you just said, the REASON I should get poked was to prevent me spreading the virus? How does that make sense if I can still catch Covid and spread it after getting the poke?
CDC: Never mind that. The other thing is, if you stay unpoked, there’s a chance the virus could possibly mutate into a strain that escapes the pokes protection, putting all poked people at risk.
ME: So the poke stops the virus from mutating?
    CDC: No.
ME: So it can still mutate in poked people?
    CDC: Yes.
ME: This seems confusing. If the poke doesn’t stop mutations, and it doesn’t stop infections, then how does me getting poked help prevent a more deadly strain from evolving to escape the poke?
CDC: You aren’t listening, okay? The bottom line is: as long as you are unpoked, you pose a threat to poked people.
ME: But what KIND of threat??
CDC: The threat that they could get a serious case of Covid and possibly die.
ME: My brain hurts. Didn’t you JUST say that the poke doesn’t keep people from catching Covid, but prevents a serious case or dying? Now it seems like you’re saying poked people can still easily die from Covid even after they got the poke just by running into an unpoked person! Which is it??
CDC: That’s it, we’re hanging up now.
ME: Wait! I just want to make sure I understand all this. So, even if I ALREADY had Covid, I should STILL get poked, because we don’t know how long natural immunity lasts, and we also don’t know how long poke immunity lasts. And I should get the poke to keep a poked person from catching Covid from me, but even if I get the poke, I can give it to the poked person anyways. And, the other poked person can still easily catch a serious case of Covid from me and die. Do I have all that right?

ME: Um, hello? Is anyone there?””

    And my own addition:

    “The other absurdity going around:
CDC: “Get the poke for those who can’t safely get the poke.”
Me: “I have a condition that prevents me from getting the poke. Can I still participate in society?”
CDC: “NO, GET THE POKE, LEPER!”
Me: “But the poke doesn’t prevent me from spreading it, doesn’t prevent me from getting sick, and it’s unsafe for me to take. What do I do?”
    CDC: ………
    Me: “Hello? Anyone?””

    @Bill7

That statement I made is one where, apologetically, I’m sort of hedging my bets. From the beginning of the entire COVID debacle, I’ve only seen two who were actually diagnosed with COVID, a downstairs neighbor and her son. They were treated with a corticosteroid, an antiviral (my guess was ivermectin, but she didn’t know), and supplemental oxygen in the hospital just days after testing negative. Heard second hand stories from family with friends up north (I’m in the St. Petersburg area of Florida), one supposedly died, the other recovered.

Where I live, it’s as if the virus is finished when looking with my own eyes. The clinic I go to for my insulin has dropped all intake questions regarding contacts tracing, symptoms, and have ditched temperature checks for entry. They are, however, pushing the vaccine hard. The personnel (excepting administration) have never worn masks the 16 months, while patients are still required to wear them. The last time I told them I am not vaccinated and waiting for longitudinal data, I was sold the “this technology has been around for 20 years” pitch and the usual Fauci marketing scheme. Once i question the efficacy surrounding these “20 years” in that they’ve never gotten past animal trials, the matter was dropped. This was the appointment with a urologist after getting an MRI to see if I had developed prostate cancer (good news, no. Some benign nodules, some damage from prostatitis, but no lesions found). The actual MRI had the radiologist being very comfortable with me changing my mask in front of him before the procedure (mine had metal, a no-no) and personnel were masked, though they were relaxed in dropping them when I needed to hear them clearly. The fed run clinic currently has a waiting list, so I’m in a bit of a waiting period to escape the pressure at least for a bit.

State and county reporting is once a week now, and trending as everywhere else in the south where people stay inside with AC during the summer (cases up, deaths down this time), but only 2,000 or so cases now instead of 10,000 this month. And I really have to question those figures. Other than health care facilities, no masks anywhere except the elderly or skittish. Greater than 90% have ditched the mask. Given all this, there seems to be more anecdotal evidence for “vaccine injuries disguised as variants” than “Delta Apocalypse” Everyone I know, excepting two, who has gotten fully vaccinated needed to visit the ER here. And my stubbornness to not get this vaccine is more stubborn..

Government liars gonna lie. One of the comments on Kunstler suggested vaccine injuries are being covered up as “variants” while blaming the unvaxxed. I can’t say I can discount this hypothesis. The variants I’m sure are real. Their reach? Debatable, especially with the disclosure about the change in PCR testing.

Been feeling a little down myself along with everyone else here at TAE, that’s why I haven’t been around much lately. But today Kunstler gives us an epic rant. The curtains will come down on the Covidians, possibly soon. I still have to hold out a bit of hope that truth will win out.

“And now you want to convince half the country subjected to this tyrannical mind-fuckery to get a poorly-tested mRNA vaccine that might provoke blood clots and organ damage? Against a disease apparently manufactured under the sponsorship of our own government? I have to tell you, Sam and Eric, that your expectations are a bit out-of-synch with the march of events. That half of the country not in thrall to your narratives won’t submit to your supposedly superior powers of reasoning and your empathic, nurturing concern for their well-being. They are quite convinced, based on a shit-ton of evidence and lived experience, that they are being played by a degenerate regime not at all run in their interests… that lies to them reflexively and incessantly.

What’s more, they want their country back — a land of free speech, fair play, and settled principle, like the right to a speedy trial. And here’s something else to consider, Sam and Eric: if the regime that you support goes a step further, as is looking more likely day by day, and if it moves to make these mRNA vaccines mandatory, it is going to pull the pin that detonates a national grenade. And when that happens, you and your Woke-Jacobin confederates will be on the run for a change, worrying about your own cancellation and whether, perhaps, it will get a fair hearing. You have the right to hope so.”

It’s called turning the tables on your oppressors using a symbol or word. Not the first time it’s been done. In the 90s, I do remember the African American community using the N word with an -a on the end to create a positive connotation, though the “left” made that automatically racist when a white wannabe rapper used it.

So we use it as an “in your face” to the cultists? Just might work.

Caitlin has a good argument for the premise that Facebook has just ceded the point they act as a “private company.”

“There is no circumstance — none — in which it’s acceptable for the White House or any other agency of the government to be providing lists to Facebook of ‘problematic’ content it wants removed, yet that’s exactly what Psaki says they’re doing. The White House is admitting that they’re compiling lists of people who they claim are posting content they regard as ‘problematic’ and that constitute ‘misinformation’ and are demanding Facebook remove them. This is authoritarianism.””

“As with knock-and-talk policing, government agents might misuse their appearance of authority to gain entrance to a residence and obtain other information about it and those who live there. Once the door is opened by a resident, anything the agents can see from their vantage point can be reported to law enforcement authorities.

Moreover, while presumably the targeting will be of areas with demonstrated low vaccination rates, there is no guarantee that this program would not be used as cover for conducting surveillance on areas deemed to be “high crime” areas as a way of obtaining intelligence for law enforcement purposes.

We’ve been down this road before, with the government sending its spies to gather intel on American citizens by questioning them directly, or by asking their neighbors to snitch on them.”

I present another scenario, one that I’ve asked before, what if there are vaccinated and unvaccinated individuals living in the same household? While CJ believes the New Normals can’t go “full Nazi,” a scenario does arise here that leads to the trains running on time, as the ‘strike force” would see unvaccinated individuals in a household with vaccinated individuals as a “threat” to the vaccinated and make the illogical leap to “assault with a deadly weapon (virus)”, hence, grounds for arrest. Don’t answer the door? Well, we do see how No Knock “warrants’ have turned out. Could be an improbable scenario, but I’m certainly not discounting they would go this far.
